"Cynthia, this vacation stinks!" Angelica complained. "I've been walking forever, and no one's come along to carry me yet!"
A bird was soon seen flying overheard with something in its beak.
"Hey, that bird's got a cupcake!" Angelica realized before she called out. "Drop it, beak-head!"
The bird didn't drop a cupcake but gave Angelica a "present" from above anyway all over her face.
"Ew!" Angelica grimaced before she kicked a rock out of frustration then whimpered and yelled out of pain from the throbbing in her foot as she hopped around before she fell to the ground, looking a little defeated and dejected. "There's got to be someone around here I can boss."
"Guys, I think I heard her around here somewhere." Gaz spoke up as she followed the sounds of whining.
"Great," Martin commented. "Just follow the whining road!"
"She sounds worse than Jessica from school." Gaz rolled her amber eyes.
The group who went after Angelica continued to follow the bratty toddler as she ranted and raved to her favorite doll until they also heard the sounds of a monkey chattering and also the sound of an even more obnoxious and spoiled girl's voice.
"Listen up, Monkey. All that chimp chatter really bugs," Debbie complained as she put on her music. "Just hand over those munchies and keep painting."
Darwin grunted a bit, giving Debbie her snacks as he painted her toenails for her.
"Wow! She's got that monkey waiting on her hoof and mouth," Angelica smiled, sounding impressed as she went to take a closer look. "Cynthia, I could learn a lot from that girl. Excuse me, Miss Bossy Lady?" she then spoke up to the older girl.
Darwin soon hooted and hollered at the sight of Angelica.
"Pipe down, Monkey," Angelica glared at the chimp before yelling out at Debbie. "Hey, lady!"
"Who's calling me a lady? I'm a teen!" Debbie glared as she removed her sunglasses until she saw Angelica there. "Where did you come from? This is supposed to be a deserted island." she then demanded.
"I'm Angeli-tiki: The Island Princess. And I'm thirsty," Angelica said to the older girl before she took a big gulp of Debbie's drink, leaving around a bit of a mess. "And I lost my touch for being bossy, so you got to teach me," she then told Debbie before shoving the glass in Darwin's face with a scowl. "No ice cubes next time!"
Darwin began to look afraid of both Debbie and Angelica before he took off running into the jungle.
"Be honest, guys. Do I sound like this?" Chrissy spoke up after hearing Debbie and Angelica being bossy and bratty.
"Hey, no way, you're at least a lot nicer than that." Zofia insisted.
"Really?" Chrissy asked.
"You're really coming a long way, Chrissy," Zofia reassured. "Why, if The Dazzlings could turn over a new leaf in a new world and new life together with you in their family, you can too."
"Well... Yes, it's true, though... They told me about how they were sort of trapped here after a while, bit I guess you have a good point about that," Chrissy replied softly. "Especially Aunt Adagio since she guides me more than Aunt Aria and Aunt Sonata."
"The point is, you're not bratty or selfish," Martin chimed in. "You're a really good person."
"And you're definitely no Melanie and Carla." Creepie added.
Chrissy smiled as that began to make her look hopeful.
"Well, I've had enough of this." Gaz soon said as she stepped right over toward Angelica and Debbie.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Martin asked.
"Need I remind you that I found out that Zim was an alien too and he couldn't do anything to scare me while my brother kept trying to expose him?" Gaz replied as she put her hands on her hips. "I've got this. Plus one of my new best friends is raised by Spider People."
"Touché." responded Creepie, as Gaz continued on her way over to the bossy duo.
Angelica and Debbie soon began to relax together.
"Hey! What're you doin'?!" Gaz called out.
"Getting 'being bossy' lessons, what does it look like?" Angelica retorted.
"Well, knock it off!" Gaz glared.
"Who's that?" Debbie asked Angelica.
"Oh, uh, she's just one of my island servants." Angelica covered up.
"Don't flatter yourself." Gaz retorted with a scoff.
Angelia glared and growled.
"Well, whoever you are, maybe you could get us a couple of drinks and make yourself useful." Debbie told the purple-haired girl with a snort.
"Angelica, just come on," said Zofia. "Your parents are gonna be worried about you if you're not back at the camp."
"Nah, I'm fine over here," Angelica scoffed and crossed her arms. "'Sides, you're not the boss of me. I'm your island princess."
"You heard her. Back off." Debbie added, starting to act like a big sister around Angelica.
"Looks like this is gonna take a while." Zofia said to the others beside her.
"I'll get a baseball bat." Gaz suggested rather darkly.
"No wonder the chimpanzee took a powder," commented Chrissy. "One bossy girl was enough, but TWO is way too much."
"Chop Chop! We ain't gettin' any younger over here!" Angelica snapped.
"Why, you..." Gaz glared until Chrissy tried to hold her back.
"Okay, correction: there are people worse than Melanie and Carla from school." Creepie snarked to herself.
Meanwhile, the Rugrats continued to explore the jungle of the island together to look for the one and only Nigel Thornberry so that they could find a way off of the island and back home where they belonged.
"There's the drainforest, guys!" Tommy pointed out to his friends. "Bet we'll find Nigel Strawberry down there."
"Now you're talking, Tommy!" Susie replied as they headed down that way.
"Wait up! Wait for me!" Chuckie cried out as he trailed behind the other babies.
"Tally-ho, gents and ladies!" David exclaimed as he followed behind, carrying Christopher behind him closely.
And at that, the babies took off on their brand new adventure through the rainforest and of course decided to make a song out of it as Dil shook his rattle while his big brother pushed him around in his stroller.
"This place is different than our own backyard~" Tommy sang on the way.
"I hope we haven't gone too far~" Chuckie sang as he began to look worried about being alone in a place like this.
"We're somewhere new and we haven't a clue~" Kimi sang out of glee as she explored the forest up close and out of amazement.
"I just saw that butterfly turn blue~" Susie sang as she took a picture of a passing butterfly.
"This is a strange and mysterious place~" Lil smiled as she watched a dragonfly land on a plant before the plant came alive and ate the insect up right in front of her, causing her to suddenly look traumatized.
"With lots of yummy buggies for us to chase~" Phil added as he found a bunch of bugs, much to his excitement.
"We're walking and we don't know where..." said Chuckie as he stumbled into a spiderweb nearby.
"Hoo-wee, it's a jungle out there!~" The babies exclaimed as they ran past, though David stayed to help clear the webs off of Chuckie.
"This place is really neat!" Kimi smiled as she crawled under a bunch of flowers before popping up out of them as butterflies flew all around.
"Lots of wormies for us to eat!" Phil grinned as he looked under the dirt and found plenty of worms squirming around.
"Lots of furry things everywhere you stare." Tommy smiled as he saw fuzzy caterpillars on a branch until some came on Dil, making him laugh as they tickled him.
"Feels like I got some in my underwear!" Lil laughed as she fell to the ground, feeling tickled as well.
"Monkeys swinging all around." Lily pointed out as she saw monkeys swinging around on vines.
"I wonder if we're ever going to get found?" Susie wondered as she looked all around.
"We're having lots of fun!" Kimi beamed as she swung around on a vine before pointing out to Tommy and Dil. "Hey, look over there!"
Dil laughed and clapped as Tommy took them down the winding tree roots, while David ran behind.
"Great big snake hanging from a tree." Phil smiled as he grabbed onto a snake's tail as it dangled from the tree above.
"I hope that it don't eat up me." Chuckie said nervously.
"Fat green lizard looking us in the eye." Susie pointed out as a komodo dragon was shown before slurping and eating a fly that landed near its mouth.
"I sure am glad that I'm not that fly." Lily remarked while Lil looked horrified about bugs getting eaten up even though she usually ate bugs with her brother.
"Prettiful birdies singing a song, tweet tweet." Lil then said with a hopeful smile as she saw a group of birds running and flying together.
"I hope we don't stay here for long." Chuckie said before sniffing a plant that suddenly ate him until he wriggled himself out with David's help.
"We gots a job to do, and we're headed up there," Tommy reminded the others as Phil began to lead ants from an ant hill into his mouth. "Look sharp, it's a jungle out here."
"We gots a job to do, and we're headed up there. Ooh-wee, it's a jungle out here~" The babies all concluded together.
David put his ear to Christopher's head. "...I know it's a bit rough having to look after Chuckie, but somebody's got to, y'know?" he told his elephant friend.
As LJ continued on his way after David, Lily, and the others, he couldn't help but feel like someone or something was out there.
Phil soon found a centipede on a branch and decided to take it. "Wow! It's got a gazillion feets. Well, down the hatch." he then said, about to eat the bug.
"Philip, no!" Lil cried out to her brother.
"Oh, sorry. Want a bite?" Phil said to his sister.
"No! I don't think we should eat bugs no more." Lil shook her head and explained.
"That's crazy talk, Lil. We've been raised on bugs." Phil reminded.
"I know it, Philip, but that's afore I sawed that poor fly get eated by that big mean ol' flower," Lil defended as she firmly pouted. "Now, you let him go!"
Phil frowned as he soon set the bug down on the ground to crawl away. "If I knowed the last bug I eated would be the last bug I eated, I would've eated it slower." he then commented to himself.
"Look! Growed-up feetprints!" Tommy soon pointed out to the others. "I bet they're Nigel Strawberry's!"
"Let's go!" Kimi smiled as she rushed over to push Dil along to follow the trail.
"Yay! Adventure!" Lily cheered. "This is more fun than getting ice cream with my big brother and sisters!"
"Wait... Aren't we missing someone?" David wondered.
"I don't think so." Lily shrugged at him in response.
"If you say so..." David replied as they continued on.
Chuckie appeared to be busy with something else behind the bushes as they did that. "You know, it's lots easier going potty in the drainforest than at home. And you don't have to worry 'bout getting any on the floor or the walls or anything," he was heard saying to himself until he saw that he was alone after he pulled his shorts back up. "Guys? Uh... Wait up! Uh, uh, guys?"
Meanwhile, Eliza, Akito, and Estelle found a monkey in another part of the jungle and began to ask him some questions.
"Excuse me, we're looking for a clouded leopard. Have you seen any around?" Eliza asked the monkey.
"Sure. There's one at the-" The monkey began to tell her.
"Eliza!" Darwin cried out as he suddenly swung by and ended up in the tree beside Eliza and the Fudo twins.
"Darwin?" Akito and Estelle asked in surprised unison.
"You'll never believe what I just saw!" Darwin told the three urgently. "There's a little girl at camp, and she's a miniature Debbie! In every way. She's bossy, she's loud... she's hideous!"
"A little girl at camp?" Estelle asked.
"That's impossible," Akito replied. "Mr. and Mrs. Thornberry said that there are no other people on this island."
"I know what I saw!" Darwin retorted. "If you don't believe me, go and see for yourself!"
"Hmm..." Akito and Estelle paused thoughtfully.
"I wonder about you two sometimes," Darwin pouted at the Fudo twins. "And your father is supposed to be a master detective with one of you going to grow up to be just like him."
"Well, if you ask me-" Akito was just about to retort.
"Guys, look!" Eliza gasped and pointed out once she saw something else that was odd on the island which appeared to be a domesticated dog with a collar.
"A dog?" Darwin asked out of confusion.
"What's he doing here?" Estelle wondered.
"Oh, spreading his fleas on an unsuspecting world." Darwin scoffed.
"Come on." Eliza suggested with a smile.
Soon, Eliza, Darwin, Akito, and Estelle swung down on the vines to go and meet the dog who began to relieve himself until they suddenly crashed by, invading his personal space.
"Hey, hey, hey! Could you give a dog a little warning?!" Spike complained, beginning to speak in normal English like many of the other animals that Eliza would meet on her adventures. "I'm trying to do my business here."
"Oh, we're so sorry." Akito said as he helped his sister up while Eliza began to approach Spike along with Darwin.
Spike chuckled a bit. "You know, it's funny. For a minute there I thought I actually heard you talking to me," he then said to the group until he began to look thoughtful. "You talking to me? Are you talking to me?" he then asked.
"Yeah, we can talk to animals. It's a long story," Eliza explained simply. "Should we come back?" she then asked.
"Ah, no problem; I'm done. I was just marking. Spike was here!" Spike replied until he came closer. "Uh, sorry. I know... Where are my manners? I am Spike. Full name: Down Spike! Down! Get Off That Couch!" he then sniffed the Fudo twins. "You two kinda smell familiar at least... At least I think so," he then said before suddenly sneezing. "Whoops! Sorry."
"Gesundheit." Estelle replied.
"Thanks," Spike sniffled as he brushed his nose with his paw a little. "Wow! I've been sneezing all day. My sniffer's on the blink. I can't even smell my own butt," he then added. "And let me tell you, I've tried."
"Charmed." Darwin rolled his eyes in response.
"Spike, what are you doing here?" Eliza soon asked the dog.
"Well... I'm... To be honest with you, I'm looking for my babies." Spike explained, sounding a little dejected and ashamed of himself.
"You lost your babies?" Eliza frowned as that sounded awful.
"Probably too busy drinking from the toilet." Darwin scoffed.
"I was not! I was sleeping." Spike defended firmly.
"That was my second guess." Darwin muttered thickly.
"Hey, hey, smart boy, you don't get it, okay?" Spike retorted and glared at the chimp. "This is how it works: Usually, they wander off, I find them, no problem, but I can't smell. I might as well not even call myself a dog!" he then turned away and covered his face with his paws.
"Eliza, we should probably mention that Spike's babies are-" Akito was about to say.
"Don't worry, Spike. We'll help you find them," Eliza coaxed as she pet the dog warmly. "And I won't tell anyone you lost them."
"Really? You really will help me find them? Thank you!" Spike beamed before he licked his face out of thanks. "That is so nice. Wow, you taste pretty good!"
"Animals." Darwin grunted and groaned at the dog licking their faces.
"Eliza, we really need to tell you that Spike's babies are really-" Akito began to say before he groaned. "No one's listening to me, are they?" he then complained.
"We might as well go along with it, for now, Kito," Estelle told her twin brother. "Besides, if Spike's here, maybe our other friends or even our cousins are too and maybe they can even help us?" she then suggested.
"Alright, it's worth a shot," shrugged Akito. "Many hands make light work."
"Exactly. Now let's get going." Estelle told her twin brother.
"Right behind ya, Sis." Akito nodded.
Soon, Eliza, Darwin, and the Fudo twins began to go after Spike so that they could look for the babies together as this adventure was getting more and more interesting.
Meanwhile, Felicity was shown to be sniffing the air before putting her hands on her hips.
"Picking up any interesting scents, Sis?" LJ asked his big sister who had a special sense of smell that involved blood.
"I smell..." Felicity started to say as she continued to sniff to get a better whiff until she stopped. "Fear. Someone is very afraid and they're very close by. I suspect I smell that Chuckie Finster kid." she then added.
"Then David and the others can't be far behind!" LJ exclaimed. "We'd better get a move on!"
"Right. This way." Felicity nodded as she continued to follow the scent.
LJ smiled as he and Felicity continued off together as the older girl followed her unique sense of smell, even different from that of a dog or a wolf using their tracking abilities through their sense of smell.
"Tommy? Phil? Lil? Spike? David? Lily?" Chuckie soon called as he wandered on his own before getting scared by birds that flew by overhead and he soon ran off, feeling scared as always before he slipped and tumbled down the hill, sliding into the mud, face-first before he got up and groaned once he saw how dirty he was. "Aw... I knew we shoulda stayed at the beach." h then complained before going to find a waterfall to wash up.
"He went down there somewhere." Felicity soon told LJ once they came to the hill suddenly.
"Then let's go find him." LJ declared as they ventured down the hillside.
Felicity nodded as she followed LJ down the hill so that they could keep going after Chuckie who was on his own and away from the other Rugrats.
"This is the way we wash our clothes, wash our clothes, wash our clothes~" Chuckie sang to himself nervously as he washed his clothes in the waterfall before looking scared and nervous about the animals loose in the wilderness while he was there by himself. "Phil? Lillian! This is not funny!" he then complained as he began to feel like he was being watched as he looked into the waterfall behind him to find Donnie Thornberry of all people there, but of course didn't recognize him. The two began to copy their movements for a while until Chuckie thought he had it all figured out. "Oh, you're just my 'flection! How ya doin', Chuckie?" he then smiled and waved at the person behind the falls.
Donnie spoke in his usual way which no one, not even Eliza could decipher.
"Uh, my 'flection never talked back!" Chuckie gasped and panicked. "I've been ascared of lots of stuff 'afore, but I never been ascared of me!" he then turned away until he looked back to see that he was alone again. "Hey! Where'd it go? Um, Chuckie?" he then looked through the fall and looked around to see that Donnie was suddenly gone. "That's not very nice. From now on, I'm not gonna make funny faces with you no more!"
"Chuckie!" LJ called out. "Chuuuuuckiiiiiiiieeee! Where aaaaaaare ya?"
"I know he's around here somewhere~" Felicity said thoughtfully as she looked around with LJ.
Meanwhile, Donnie found Chuckie's clothes and decided to wear them and threw the cowardly toddler boy his shorts to do a clothing exchange.
"Hey! Who's throwing stuff?" Chuckie complained as he took the shorts and soon tried them on before he found out that his shoes were suddenly gone. "My shorts feel kinda big... Aah! Who took my shoes?"
Donnie soon put on Chuckie's clothes and even tied the other boy's shoes on his own feet before putting on his glasses, though things looked weird from his perspective due to wearing glasses, even running right into a tree. He then hopped around before jumping on Chuckie's back and rode the shorts and Chuckie's underwear up, giving the toddler a wedgie as he continued off with his new clothes.
"Hey! My big-boy pants aren't 'posed to do this!" Chuckie complained before he soon looked into the water and didn't like what he saw. "Oh! I don't even look like Chuckie no more." he then pouted as he looked into his reflection, seeing himself in Donnie's shorts.
"CHUCKIIIIIIIE!" LJ called again, drawing the redheaded boy's attention.
"Who's sayin' my name?" Chuckie asked as he looked over.
"I think I found him," Felicity said before walking over and gasping. "Chuckie! ...Where are your glasses?" she then asked as every parent asked their child who wore glasses or who didn't have them on and ignored pretty much everything else.
Chuckie pouted and fidgeted a little as he looked like he was going to cry.
"Oh, and he's all on his own," Felicity then cooed as she knelt down to comfort Chuckie. "He must've gotten lost."
"In the jungle? That makes sense," LJ responded. "C'mon, little guy."
Chuckie sniffled a little as he wiped his freckled face and began to follow Felicity and LJ away from the waterfall.
