Chapter 49.
JetSilphymon.
Coast Line.
Before Lucemon's arrival on the battlefield.
- "Ultimate Stream!"- MetalSeadramon fires a beam from his cannon on his head, the shot hits the ground, sending several heroes flying. Repeating the shot again, this time Ryukyu, in his dragon form, manages to take MetalSeadramon's head and make it point up, preventing the shot from hitting the heroes. However, MetalSeadremon takes advantage of this to wrap his body around Ryukyu's, they both begin to struggle.
After struggling for a while, Ryukyu manages to get out of MetalSeadramon's grasp, throwing it back into the sea. Recovering again MetalSeadramon emerges again from the sea. Letting out a roar, MetalSeadramon and Ryukyu charged at each other again.
Meanwhile Melissa is facing Toga.
Toga attacks Melissa with a knife, but Melissa stops the attack by grabbing Toga's arm. Melissa tries to attack Toga with a kick, but Toga manages to break out of Melissa's grasp and jump back to avoid Melissa's attack.
Toga attacks Melissa again, this time with two knives, one in each hand. Melissa uses her agility to dodge Toga's attacks, in one of those Toga manages to cut him slightly on the cheek, but Melissa takes advantage of this to kick him in the stomach, making Toga take a few steps back.
However, this does not stop Toga, as she quickly recovers and then jumps up and tries to attack Melissa. However Melissa manages to see this and points her arms at Toga. – "Hurricane Wave!"- Firing a couple of tornadoes which hit Toga making her crash to the ground.
Toga again rises from the ground, practically unaffected by the attack. – "This is fun."- Toga said as she took several knives from her bag, placing one on each of her finger joints. – "We have to keep having fun!"- Toga throws the knives at Melissa, who easily dodges them, however Toga smiles, revealing that the knives have string attached to them. Pulling the strings, the knives are directed at Melissa again, but this time from behind.
Seeing the knives, Melissa begins to spin on her own axis to create gusts of air and deflect the knives. At the moment of stopping, Toga takes the opportunity to launch herself against Melissa, who manages to see her and dodge the attack and then counterattack with a kick to the stomach.
Toga stands up again. – "All right... it's your turn."- Black mud begins to cover Toga, so that a few seconds later Ranamon appears in her place. – "Perfect, we have a little unfinished business, Kazemon!"- Ranamon said as she charged at Melissa. Melissa tries to attack Ranamon with a kick, however Ranamon dodges the attack and manages to hit her in the face, making Melissa take a few steps back.
Quickly recovering, Melissa charges at Ranamon and tries to attack her with several consecutive kicks, kicks that are dodged by Ranamon. Ranamon quickly counters with several punches, which are blocked by Melissa, who uses her arms to block Ranamon's attacks. – "What's going on? You can't keep up with me?"- Ranamon said.
- "Of course I can!"- Melissa said as she landed a surprise kick to Ranamon's stomach. – "He was just waiting for the perfect moment to strike back!"- After this Melissa kicks Ranamon directly in the face making her fly away. As Ranamon falls to the ground, Melissa tries to attack her, however the path is blocked by Ryukyu, in her dragon form, who falls between them. Ranamon takes advantage of this to jump and land a punch to Melissa's stomach, who was distracted by Ryukyu.
- "Don't get distracted, your fight is with me!"- Ranamon said as she and Melissa start exchanging blows.
As this happens, Ryukyu struggles to get up from the ground. – "That thing is very strong..."- She said.
- "Come on human! Entertain me more!"- MetalSeadramon said.
Suddenly, Nejire appears behind him, an attack ready. – "You'll pay for that! Full load. Output: 50! Wring Wave!"- She then blasts MetalSeadramon with two powerful waves from each hand.
However, MetalSeadramon was not much affected by the attack, it only made him shake his head slightly. – "Is that all you have? Do not make me laugh!"- MetalSeadramon said as he hit Nejire with his tail, sending her flying several meters, almost a kilometer, causing Nejire to end up crashing into a building.
- "Nejire-chan!"- Ryukyu said as she charges at MetalSeadramon and punches him in the face. – "You bastard!"-
However, MetalSeadramon quickly recovers from the attack and manages to bite Ryukyu's right arm, causing a lot of damage to the hero. Ryukyu growls in pain. MetalSeadramon begins to put more pressure on the bite as several projectiles hit him in the face, bothering him enough to let Ryukyu go.
Seeing who it was that helped her, Ryukyu can see Snipe and Gunhead firing their weapons at MetalSeadramon.
Battle Hero Gunhead.
Quirk: Gatling.
Gunhead's Quirk gives him gun-like organs in his arms which can shoot claw-like bullets made of keratin.
Snipe.
Quirk: Homing.
Snipe's Quirk allows him to lock on to any target he can see within six hundred meters and make any projectile he releases chase after said target. He cannot choose what part of the target's body his projectile hits and his attacks do not carry much strength.
- "Ryukyu are you alright?!"- Gunhead asked.
- "Gunhead, Snipe! Don't go near that thing!"- Ryukyu said.
- "Damn hindrances! Stop getting in the way! Ultimate Stream!"- MetalSeadramon said as he shot Gunhead and Snipe.
- "No!"- Ryukyu said as he tries to save Gunhead and Snipe, however it was too late, the laser hit them, killing them in the process.
- "Now there are no hindrances..."- MetalSeadramon said.
- "You will pay for it!"- Ryukyu said as she attacked MetalSeadramon with several punches to the face, then take him by the tail and crash him to the ground.
However, MetalSeadramon is not defeated and wraps his body around Ryukyu. – "Do not think that with such weak blows you will defeat me!"- MetalSeadramon said as he prepared another shot at Ryukyu, who couldn't move. – "Ultimate Strea…"-
- "Full Load. Output: 85! Ultra-Wring Wave!"- Before MetalSeadramon could attack, Nejire appears and attacks him with her own attack, this time stronger and managing to deal some damage, enough for MetalSeadramon to let go of Ryukyu.
- "Nejire-chan! You're hurt! Are you okay?!"- Ryukyu said.
Nejire, with a bloody face and several wounds on her face, is breathing heavily. – "I'm fine! The important thing is to defeat this thing!"- Nejire said.
- "All right... let's finish this thing off!"- Ryukyu said.

Melissa vs Ranamon.
Ranamon tries to hit Melissa with a punch, however Melissa dodges the attack, managing to counterattack with a flurry of kicks which hit Ranamon making her take several steps back and then finish with a kick to the face to make her fly off and fall into the sea.
Suddenly, the sea water begins to swirl and from this comes a pillar of water in which Ranamon is inside of it. – "Do not think that you have defeated me, this battle has only just begun!"- Ranamon uses some water and throws it at Melissa with a lot of pressure.
Melissa begins to dodge Ranamon's attacks, however these were many. – "Sh*t! Hurricane Wave!"- Melissa fires tornados to stop Ranamon's attack. – "This is bad...she's in her element here...I'm definitely at a disadvantage."-
- "Come on Kazemon! You can do better than that!"- Ranamon said at the moment of attacking again with several jets of water at Melissa, who does her best to dodge them. – "This is just a start, let's see how you do with this!"- The water surrounding Ranamon begins to take shape, turning into several large fists which begin to attack Melissa.
The water fists begin to attack Melissa, who begins to fly to dodge the attacks, however she quickly becomes somewhat overwhelmed by the attacks. – "This is getting complicated… Flowery Gust!"- Starting to dish out kicks, Melissa begins to destroy Ranamon's attacks, not realizing that she is doing what Ranamon wanted.
Once Renamon's last attack was destroyed by Melissa, she smiles. – "Not bad... but that was just part of my strategy."-
Melissa is confused by this, just at that moment she lands and can feel how the ground is covered with water, at that moment she realizes what Ranamon meant by what she said. – "Oh no!"-
- "You fell into my trap!"- Ranamon said as she used the water on Melissa's feet to catch her and immobilize her. – "I got you!"- Ranamon uses the water to throw Melissa into the sea, causing her to start sinking into the sea.
- "Damn... I got lost and managed to catch me... I need to concentrate in the fight."- Melissa thought as she tried to free herself. Suddenly a hole is created in the sea where she was.
- "I won't let you die so easily... I'll be the one to kill you!"- Ranamon said as she creates a gigantic whirlpool above the two of them. – "Die!"- Ranamon throws the whirlpool at Melissa, after this the sea returns to its normal form. – "Ha! Serves you right!"- Suddenly a punch hits Ranamon's face, causing him to fly out and crash to the ground, far from the sea. Ranamon gets up and can see who hit her, it is Melissa, but this time in her Zephyrmon form. – "How…"-
- "The moment you cast the whirlpool, I switched to Zephyrmon and managed to escape before it hit me."- Suddenly Melissa appears in front of Ranamon, managing to punch her in the stomach. – "Now it's my turn to take the lead!"- Ranamon tries to attack with a punch but is blocked by Melissa and then counters with a kick which pushes her away a bit. – "Plasma Spheres!"- Taking advantage of this, Melissa concentrates red energy spheres in her hands and feet, launching them against Ranamon.
Ranamon falls back into the sea. – "Die!"- Ranamon attacks Melissa with the water again, but Melissa manages to destroy the attack with a single blow.
- "It's over! Hurricane Gale!" - Melissa says at the time of attacking Ranamon with a large tornado.
- "Sh*t…"- Ranamon said at the moment of seeing the attack. – "Ranamon slide Digivolve to…"- Ranamon said just as the attack hit her, suddenly the tornado is completely destroyed, but this time Ranamon was not the culprit. – "Calmaramon!"- Calmarmon was the one that destroyed the tornado. – "I hate this form... but I hate you more! Let's get this over with! Acid Ink!"- Calmaramon said as he shot black acid from his mouth at Melissa.
Seeing this, Melissa creates a tornado to defend herself from the attack and disperse it, which she achieves, but some drops of acid fall on her. – "I have to be careful with the acid... it's quite corrosive."- Melissa thought.
- "Take this!"- Calamaramon attacks Melissa with one of his tentacles.
- "Gilgamesh Upper!"- For her part, Melissa counters with a punch, colliding with Calmaramon's attack.

Ryukyu and Nejire vs MetalSeadramon.
MetalSeadramon tries to attack Nejire with his tail, however the attack is blocked by Ryukyu, who counters with a punch to MetalSeadramon's face. – "It's useless! You can't hurt me, my body is covered by Gold Digizoid!"- MetalSeadramon said as he attacked Ryukyu with his head horn, which is shaped like a knife.
Ryukyu manages to stop the attack with her hand, but not without it being pierced by the horn. – "I don't know what this Gold Digizoid guy is... but that just means... that instead of attacking you from the outside... we should damage you from the inside!"- Ryukyu said as she used her two hands to force MetalSeadramon's jaws open.
- "I won't let you!"- MetalSeadramon said as he charged another attack from his cannon. – "Ultimate Strea…"-
- "I'm tired of that cannon!"- Nejire said while standing in front of the cannon. – "Full Load! Maximum power! Output: 100! Ultra-Wring Wave!"- Nejire said at the moment of shooting her waves at maximum power, managing to destroy MetalSeadramon's cannon, however she was quite close to the cannon, so the explosion also reached her, doing a lot of damage and making her fall to the ground. – "Ryukyu... it's all up to you now…"- After these words, Nejire falls unconscious.
- "Thank you Nejire-chan... I won't waste this opportunity!"- Ryukyu thought as she continued to force MetalSeadramon's jaws open, which she was managing to do.
Desperate, MetalSeadramon sticks one of its tails, which end in a type of harpoon, on the side of Ryukyu's stomach, however the attack did not have much force, thanks to that Ryukyu was able to continue fighting without falling, although with a lot of pain.
- "I will not fall...until I defeat you!"- Ryukyu said as he finally managed to open MetalSeadramon's jaws. – "Agni and Sylph aren't the only ones who have developed new techniques! I have seen the progress of both students...they have inspired me to keep improving and not settle for my current level! This is my new attack, I can only use it once, at least for now, so I had to make sure it was worth it!"- Ryukyu said as fire starts to build up in her mouth. – "Dragon breath!"- Ryukyu shoots fire directly at MetalSeadramon's mouth, and because it was open, the attack entered MetalSeadramon's interior, destroying it from his insides.
- "Damn it!"- They were the last words of MetalSeadramon since it exploded in data after receiving the attack.
Ryukyu falls on her back after MetalSeadramon explodes, as she falls she returns to her normal form. – "We made it... Sylph... the rest is up to you."- Ryukyu finally falls to the ground, her body quite damaged, her right arm shattered and a hole in the side of her stomach, luckily none of her organs were damaged, she turns to see Nejire, who is unconscious to her left. Ryukyu smiles. – "Nejire-chan... I'm so proud of you."- She whispered just before letting unconsciousness take over her.

Melissa vs Calmaramon.
Melissa crashes into the ground, creating a small crater upon impact. – "This is getting complicated."- Melissa thought as she stood up and looked at Calmaramon, seeing her with several water whirlwinds surrounding her. – "Hurricane Gale!"- Using her feathers, as sharp as arrows, Melissa launches them at Calmaramon.
Seeing this, Calmaramon covers herself with his tentacles, not realizing that Melissa took advantage of this to get closer.
- "Gilgamesh Upper!"- Melissa manages to land a right hand against Calmaramon, but she does not back down and attacks with a punch. – "Plasma Paws!"- Melissa tries to attack with her claws, however Calmaramon manages to dodge the attack and counterattack with her tentacles, sending Melissa flying.
Melissa recovers in the air just as the two watch as MetalSeadramon is defeated. – "D*mn it... they defeated MetalSeadramon, this is bad."- Calmaramon thought.
- "They made it... now it's my turn!"- Melissa thought when she saw MetalSeadramon fall. Melissa charges against Calmaramon, however she also thinks the same.
- "Titanic Tempest!"- Calmaramon withdraws into her body and starts rotating like a drill and strikes Melissa.
Melissa joins her two arms making an X and tries to block the attack, however Calmaramon's attack is quite strong, making him fly and crash to the ground, creating a crater thanks to the impact. Melissa gets up with some difficulty and tries to take flight, however she is hit by one of Calmaramon's tentacles, making her crash to the ground again.
- "MetalSeadramon may have fallen... but I will not fall! Acid Ink!"- From her mouth, Calmaramon shoots black acid.
- "Sh*t!"- Melissa, quite tired, creates a tornado to protect herself from the attack, which was moderately effective, since some acid fell on her body. – "D*mn it…"- Melissa thought at the moment of jumping to dodge another attack from Calmaramo's tentacles, however the impact of the attack manages to knock her down, after falling to the ground again, Melissa returns to her human form.
- "Lucemon will be grateful for eliminating you, now die!"- Calmaramon attacks with her tentacles, however Melissa stands up and jumps to dodge the attack, although she is still knocked down by the impact of it. – "D*mn it! Why don't you die?!"- Calmaramon said while attacking Melissa again.
Again, Melissa dodges the attack. – "Because as long as I can keep fighting... I'm not going down!"-
- "You're pathetic... Always with your little hero speeches... That's why I hate you!"- Calmaramon attacks Melissa again with its tentacles, only this time Melissa is too tired to dodge the attack. – "Die!"-
Melissa looks at everything on lens, but suddenly she can feel the energy returning to her body, but above all she can see how her D-Scan shines. – "Did I just..."- Dodging Calmaramon's attack, Melissa grabs her D-Scan.
- "Stop dodging!"- Calmaramon said.
- "Don't worry, I won't dodge anymore!"- Melissa said as multiple data wheels appeared in her hand. – "Execute!"- The D-Scan makes contact with the data. – "Fusion Evolution!"- Data surrounds Melissa.

Inside the Data.
Melissa lets out a roar as wind and feathers begins to surround her.
Both spirits, the human and the beast appear at her sides.
They both begin to pass in front of her multiple times as each hands her a respective piece of armor.
After passing several times, both spirits merge into one and Melissa lets out one last roar before finishing her transformation.

The data disappeared and instead of Melissa there was... – "JetSilphymon!"- JetSilphymon is the fusion of the Human and Wind Beast spirits. She possesses a winged aviation jet pack mechanism; with which she can create turbulence. Her helmet is a model airplane, her wings are airplane wings, and her weapon is a giant windmill that has a sharp point at the other end of the pole that holds the windmill with. – "I'm ready to finish this!"-
- "What?! That is unfair! Why do you have to get your fusion spirit when I was about to win?!"- Calmaramon said.
- "I don't know..."- Melissa said as she turned on her jetpac and flew at high speed, appearing right in front of Calmaramon. – "But I have nothing to complain about!"- Melissa says at the moment of hitting Calmaramon in the stomach with her pinwheel.
Calmaramon is knocked down by the attack. - "D*mn you... Acid Ink!"- Calmaramon fires his acid at Melissa, however, she begins to spin her pinwheel and thanks to the generated wind she manages to cover herself from the attack while advancing towards Calmaramon.
Once near Calmaramon, Melissa starts generating wind from her pinwheel. – "Ultra Turbulence!"- With a movement of her pinwheel, Melissa attacks Calmaramon and manages to send her flying with all the wind generated.
Calmaramon gets up with some difficulty, however he doesn't give up and attacks Melissa again with her tentacles. Melissa uses her pinwheel to attack as well and both attacks collide, beginning a struggle.
However, Melissa manages to win the fight and knocks Calmaramon down. Melissa throws her pinwheel into the sky, pointing both hands at Calmaramon, who is in the sea recovering from the attack. – "Time to end this! Jet Binter!"- From her two hands, a large shot with the power of wind is released.
Calmaramon, who was barely able to recover from the previous attack, only watches as the attack hits her. – "D*mn it!"- It was the last thing Calmaramon said before receiving the attack. The attack was so strong that it created a whirlpool in the sea.
Melissa reaches her right hand up, catching her pinwheel and breathes a sigh of relief. Turning to see where Calmaramon was, she can see how the sea calms down and floating in it is an unconscious Toga. – "It's over..."- Melissa said to quickly grab Toga and pull her out of the sea and then drop her on the land. – "One less... I hope the others manage to defeat the rest."- Melissa thought, but in that she can see how the water spirits, human and beast, come out of Toga's body to later enter her D-Scan, which had previously appeared in front of her. – "The water spirits..."- Melissa thought, but, in that, something distracts her.
- "We have wounded!"- One of the heroes said when finding Ryukyu and Nejire.
Seeing this, Melissa walks over to where Ryukyu and Nejire were. – "Ryukyu, Nejire!"- Melissa said.
- "Who is she?"- The hero asked himself. – "Don't worry, they're alive, they're just badly injured. They need medical attention."-
- "That's a relief... do you need help transporting them?"- Melissa asked.
- "Y-yes... although sorry for the question but... who are you? I don't remember seeing you before."- The hero asked.
- "I'm Sylph, I'm with the Ryukyu agency. You didn't recognize me because this is a new transformation."- Melissa said while pointing to herself.
- "Oh I see... in that case you can help us to move the wounded."- The hero said.
- "What happened to the rest of the enemies?"- Melissa asked.
- "It was strange, but when Ryukyu defeated the gigantic sea serpent, the rest of the creatures retreated."- The hero said.
- "I see... in that case..."- Melissa said, however she was interrupted by Ryukyu's communicator starting to beep.
- *This is Endeavor, I need a status report! Ryukyu, Hawks! Do you copy?!* - Endeavor says from the communicator.
Melissa takes the communicator. - "Sylph here, Ryukyu is out of action and needs medical attention."- She said.
- *Understood... status report. *- Endeavor said.
- "All enemies defeated, villains captured, creatures retreated after defeating the largest creature."- Melissa said.
- *All right, we need everyone who can to get together on the front lines, we're in trouble. *-
- "What's going on?"- Melissa asked.
- *More creatures appeared, probably the ones that left your area, but worst of all, Shigaraki has arrived. *- Endeavor informed.
- "Damn it... that can't be good..."- Melissa thought. – "Understood, we will organize ourselves and go to support you."- Melissa finishes saying and prepares to explain the new orders to the heroes.
However, the hero who is with her interrupts her. – "Go. I'll take care of moving the others, they'll need you on the front line."-
- "Are you sure?"- Melissa asked.
- "Yes do not worry. I saw how to defeat giant squid, they will need your strength on the front line, we will go as soon as we secure the wounded and take the captured villains into custody."- The hero said.
- "Understood, good luck."- Melissa said before flying off in the direction of the front line. – "Hold on as long as you can, I'm on my way."-

Ryukyu and Nejire manage to defeat MetalSeadramon.
Melissa manages to unlock her fusion spirit and manages to defeat Toga and along with that recover the spirits, beast and human, of water.
Now she heads to the front line to support the battle against Lucemon.
Like this one, the next chapter doesn't need a description, I think you already know what's coming.
Finally, I'm going to take a little break, not so long, just a couple of weeks.
This is because I need to rest from writing as I am getting overwhelmed.
And I want to refresh some ideas, I'm not going to change anything important since I already have the whole story perfectly planned, I'll just refine some small details for the arc after this, the final arc.
