Inside the mess hall, which was literally a mess. Filled with food scattered about, puddles of soup and an unconscious Sheriff Greenleaf; Sasha and Amity had entered the hall after their meeting about the Marauders.
"Are we cleaning this?" Amity asked as she and Sasha walked in. "I thought we had a mission."
"No, this would take too long." Sasha replied. "But speaking of, Wally I thought I told you to clean this place up! It's not that, I just need to talk."
"About Anne?" Amity asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"Oh my gosh! Yes!" Sasha replied loudly.
"I knew it." Amity said.
"Wait, you knew?!" Sasha exclaimed in shock.
"Yes. You really need to be more subtle." Amity said.
"Wait, what do you mean?!" Sasha exclaimed.
"Your cheeks turn red around her and you turn nervous after you make some kind of skin contact." Amity said. "And also, there was the incident…."
In a flashback, Amity had just gotten out of the pond after a bath and was wearing a towel around herself. Just as she was about to leave, she began to hear some singing.
"Oh Anne! I wanna kiss you! I wanna hug you and squeeze you and do the other things girlfriends do! I wanna feel goosebumps as I hold your hand!" Sasha sang. "Man, I really need to learn how to be a lyricist.
In the present, Sasha was shocked that her cheeks turned red. "What?! You heard that?!"
"Yeah. You're quite terrible." Amity remarked. "So, you wanna ask Anne out?"
"Yeah. But I'm scared that she doesn't want to."
Meanwhile in the war room, Anne slammed her fists down on the table. "I have a crush on Sasha and I want to ask her out!"
Luz was surprised by this and gave a small smile. "So you brought me in here to strategise a battle plan to ask Sasha out?"
"Well, how did you and Amity get together?!" Anne asked.
"Well, Hooty kidnapped her and forced her in a tunnel of lobe along with me and then I destroyed it which lead Amity to believe I was not interested in her and then Hooty had a tantrum which somehow lead to me asking Amity out in a hole shaped like a heart and boom! We became girlfriends." Luz's response got Anne staring at her with an unimpressed look.
"Yeeeeeah, that sounds way too complicated to pull off." Anne said.
"But wait, didn't Sasha try to kill you?" Luz asked.
"Didn't your girlfriend try to have you dissected and then she tried to kill you?" Anne asked.
"Touché."
Back with Sasha and Amity.
"Wait, you did try to kill Anne." Amity pointed out.
"Come on! That was like two times." Sasha argued. "And don't act like you're safe, how many times have you almost tried to kill Luz?"
"Twice." Amity replied bluntly.
"Huh." Sasha remarked. "I thought it'd be more. How should I do this?!"
"Maybe ask her out after the war is over." Amity suggested. "I mean, not just here, but after we defeat Belos as well."
"Yeah, true." Sasha said. "I mean, an idiot would ask her out during very inconvenient times."
Back with Luz and Anne.
"You should totally ask her out!" Luz suggested.
Anne raised an eyebrow. "You sure about this? There is a war going on."
"Again, there is a war." Luz pointed out. "You might as well ask her out just in case something bad were to happen to either of you. I knew the risks. So, I asked Amity out so I could have some kind of cool future with her and I'm glad."
"Hmm, okay." Anne said. "I shall ask Sasha Waybright to be my girlfriend!" Anne then placed her foot on the table. "I will ask Sasha Waybright on a date! I mean, what's the worst that can happen?"
41 minutes later.
The worst could happen at their mission. Turns out, the Marauders had already set a trap for them, leading to escape their mission. Though Dipper lost a weapon, Luz lost her glyphs while Amity had lost conscious.
Sasha, Anne, Dipper and Luz carrying Amity had eventually made it to a safe location after running for their lives to catch a breather.
They panted while Luz rested Amity on her legs. "Oh, I hope that rock wasn't serious." Luz searched her pockets and luckily found a plant glyph that she used to form a flower based pillow for her head. "There you go, Carino." Once Amity was rested, Ghost began to lick her cheek to make sure their owner was okay.
"Whew!" Anne said as she wiped her sweat away.
"Is that everyone?" Dipper asked.
It was at this moment, Anne realised something important. "Oh no! Where's everybody else?!"
Everyone began to look around for any amphibians, but none were there to be seen. While Anne and Sasha ran to the edge, Dipper and Luz began to tend to the unconscious Amity, whom had a cut on her head. While Ghost, rested on her hand.
Sasha looked through a pair of binoculars and saw that Croaker, Loggle Toadie, Wally and Maddie were being held at spear point by Marauders. She handed them to Anne, who looked through them and gasped in horror.
"Oh no! They got caught!" Anne exclaimed as Sasha walked away. "We got to get down and help them!"
"Absolutely not!" Sasha's response made Anne narrow her eyes at her commander.
"Uh, excuse me?!" Dipper asked.
"Maddie's down there!" Luz exclaimed.
"Maddie's down where?!" Amity asked as she shot up.
"What?! Why not?!" Anne asked while Dipper laid Amity back down on the flower pillow.
"We can't risk ourselves getting captured, and the resistance can't lose both of its leaders." Sasha replied.
"But it can lose the muscle?!" Dipper asked angrily as he cleaned Amity's cut. "What kind of leader are you?!"
"Look, Croaker's team has got this." Sasha assured them. "Trust me. This isn't their first rodeo."
"Hey Dipper, is my head bad?" Amity asked.
"Don't worry Amity, it's just a cut." Dipper assured her.
"Well, that's a relief." Luz remarked.
"Look Sasha, I have a rocket launcher in my pocket. I can just burst in and grab them." Dipper begins to reach into his pocket and began to frantically search them before sighing. "How do they keep getting into my pockets?" He then handed Luz a box of band aids. "She'll just be needing a strap of these."
"Man, I wish I'd have a scratch." Luz said. "We could be boo-boo girlfriends."
Amity smiled and rolled her eyes. "Luz, my head stings. Please don't be cheesy."
"Then, what do we do then?" Anne asked.
"We'll just wait it out." Sasha replied. "Croaker's team is pretty tough on their own."
"What do we do then?" Anne asked.
"We train!" Sasha replied as she pulled out her swords. "You guys can join in if you like. See whose skills are superior."
Dipper was at first hesitant since it was his team. But, he didn't know much about Amphibia so he obliged to her commands. "Oh, alright. But if they're not out in five hours, then I'm going in."
"Sounds fun." Luz said.
"My head isn't too bad." Amity said as she stood up and prepared her Abomination fist. "I can fight."
"So, who's up first?" Sasha asked.
Round 1: Luz Noceda vs Amity Blight.
Luz and Amity stood in front of each other, ready to train for when Sasha gives the command. Luz and Amity were actually staring at each other with determination even though they were together.
While Anne was looking through her binoculars at the camp. But when she saw Barry, she sneered in anger. "Barry."
"Know him?" Dipper asked.
"He's the candy man that almost had me and Sprig turned into birds." Anne replied. "All because we accidentally bumped into him. He holds a lot of petty grudges."
"Huh, I think he and my Grunkle would get along." Dipper remarked. "Why is he dressed like a cannibalistic candy maker?"
"Hey you two!" Sasha said, getting the two's attention. "Do you want to see two girlfriend's kicking each other's butts or what?!"
Dipper and Anne sat down as they began to watch the fight about to go down. "So, who's betting?" Anne asked.
"Nobody's betting." Dipper declared. "But between you and me, I have a good feeling on Amity."
"You owe me ten coppers if it's Luz." Anne said.
"I don't have ten coppers." Dipper argued.
"Then, ten dollars when we get back to Earth."
Dipper sighed. "Okay."
"You two!" Sasha interjected. "Are you seriously betting….this low?! Dipper, you owe me twenty if Luz wins. Okay you two, begin the fight! And don't go easy just because you're dating!"
Amity smiled while narrowing her eyes at her girlfriend and cracking her knuckles. While Luz just grinned and cracked her neck.
Amity formed an Abomination sword while Luz quickly formed an ice sword made from her glyph. The human witch span her weapon while Amity did a pose.
"Shall we dance, darling?" Luz asked.
"Of course, m'lady." Amity replied before charging towards her girlfriend and beginning her sword fight with her girlfriend.
They deflected each of their hits before Amity formed an Abomination to launch her over her girlfriend around 12 feet away from each other. She then formed an Abomination fist that stretched out towards her, till Luz quickly drew an earth glyph on the ground, causing a pillar to rise and act as a shield.
Then Luz used her fire glyphs to fire a few fireballs close to the ground, causing Amity to back off a bit before forming some Abomination daggers she threw at Luz, whom formed an ice shield, defending her from the blades.
"Okay, are they trying to kill each other?" Anne asked.
"You should really see how me and Pacifica train." Dipper said. "They're a lot more intense."
Then, Amity formed an Abomination rope she tied round Luz's waist and pulled her towards her. She yanked it so hard that she was close to Luz's face.
"Looks like I win." Amity said.
Luz on the other hand, was grinning. "You're wrong. I was going easy on you, I haven't gone for the ultimate weapon."
"And what is that, my idiotic yet amazing human?"
"This." Luz then began to kiss Amity on the lips, something that turned the witch red.
"Hey! No kissing!" Sasha yelled out. "We are sparring remember?!"
During the kiss, Amity was so deep into it that the Abomination that was wrapped around Luz's waist, disappeared and Luz pulled out a plant glyph.
She and Amity separated their lips from each other and began to stare at each other lovingly before Amity fell on her rear. The cotton candy haired witch looked and saw that there was a vine wrapped round her ankle and who was holding the end. Which happened to be Luz.
Luz then formed an ice sword and aimed it at Amity's neck. "Looks like I win, sweet potato."
Amity raised her hands in defeat. "You win. Though, you did cheat."
Luz threw away her sword and helped her girlfriend up. "There were no rules about kissing."
"If that's the case…." Sasha then turned to Anne. "….Hey Anne, be careful. Because if we're up next, I'll smooch ya so hard that you'll drop your sword." Sasha turned red and put her hand on her mouth in embarrassment while Anne's stomach turned as she blushed. While Dipper just watched on, unsure of how to make of this silence.
"Uh…Am I next?"
Round 2: Luz Noceda vs Dipper Pines.
Dipper stood in front of Luz with his energy sword out while Luz had a handful of glyphs at the ready. "Huh, science vs magic." Anne remarked. "I have bets on magic!"
"Magic!" Amity declared as she shot her hand up.
"Science!" Sasha declared as she raised her hand up.
"Well, let's put the theory to the test." Dipper declared as he spun his energy sword at Luz, plus two of his fingers and one of his feet in front of him.
Luz grinned. "Oh, I am going to prove you wrong. Do not underestimate me Dipper! For I am the Human Witch, Luz. Defeater of people who underestimate…" Before Luz could finish, Dipper shot one of Luz's paper out of her hand.
Dipper blew on his laser while Luz narrowed her eyes at him. "Word of advice. Don't monologue." He tried shooting Luz with his laser, but she quickly slammed an ice glyph on the ground, causing a pillar to rise up.
This made the beams of light deflect off of it and causing Dipper to perform a role. He pulled out a can of deodorant which happened to be a flamethrower, causing the ice pillar to melt into a pull that got Luz.
Luz searched her pockets and realised that all her glyphs had been soaked. "Aww! Dang it!" Luz exclaimed in annoyance as she slammed her wet pieces of paper on the ground.
"Wow, that was quick." Sasha remarked.
"Guess that's what happens when you have more experience at this sort of thing." Dipper retorted.
"Did anyone bring a towel by any chance?" Luz asked.
Sasha took off the fur cape she was wearing and threw it towards her. "Here. It could help." When Sasha took off her fur cape, Anne was blushing yet again at what Sasha was performing.
Round 3: Dipper Pines vs Sasha Waybright.
Sasha and Dipper were standing in front of each other, narrowing their eyes while the rest stayed on the sideline with Luz using Sasha's cape as a towel and Ghost comforting her by rubbing themselves against her leg.
She took her dual swords out and spun them. "Okay dork, I've dealt with Science fiction before, you're going to be a piece of cake."
"That's where you're mistaken." Dipper said. "I'm…..Uh, I had something for this." He then wiped out his blaster from his sleeve and began blasting at Sasha, who used her sword to deflect the beam and hitting the gun out of Dipper's hand.
Sasha ran up towards him and attempted to slice him, but Dipper quickly dodged them and pulled out his energy sword and deflected the hits that came from her.
She tried stabbing him in the shoulder, but the grown man deflected the hit and kicked her back a bit. He was about to use his deodorant flamethrower, but Sasha pulled a dagger from her hair and threw it towards the can, damaging it.
"Okay, I assume you're going to do that if I pull out some of my tech?" Dipper asked.
"Because that's just cheating." Sasha explained.
"There were no rules about our advanced tech." Dipper retorted before firing some kind of small energy arrow from his wrist watch at Sasha that she deflected before sliding underneath the author before jumping up and deflecting a hit.
While this went on, the girls watched on, possibly betting. "I have bets on Dipper." Luz said.
"I don't know. I feel Sasha has this." Amity said.
"So do I." Anne's face turned red as she watched the girl she suddenly fell madly in love with.
The way she deflected Dipper's blade, the way her muscles show as she gripped on her sword, the way her hair blew in the wind, the way the sweat dropped off her face and the way she gritted her teeth. It made Anne's stomach turn like someone was knotting it and her brain was running round in circles.
While this went on, Luz was still drying herself after that wave of water hit her. "Huh, them two are good." Luz remarked.
"Yeah. Shame that coward Andrias can't come down and face us!" Amity exclaimed loudly, hoping to get the big newt's attention, but nothing. "Huh, guess nothing."
"Speaking of King…." Luz sighed. "…..You think King's doing okay?"
"What do you mean?" Amity asked.
Luz looked sad as she began to realise that King was still in another world he barley spent a week in, without her. "It's just, King is still in the Human Realm and there is a lot of stuff he doesn't know about. What if he gets hurt? Or what if he isn't being taken care of? I just, feel like there's something going on with King and I don't know what."
Amity placed a hand on her girlfriend's hand. "Hey, that little guy has his scream powers if Mr X gets in his way." Amity assured her. "Plus, he's got the Boonchuy's, your Mom and sister, the Waybrights and Dipper's strange family.
"I'm taking that as a compliment!" Dipper interjected.
"King is going to be okay Luz, I promise." Amity assured her.
Luz smiled, feeling a bit hopeful. "Yeah. But I'm also worried for Eda. I hope she's doing well without me."
"Eda is with Raine and Grime, what could happen?" If only Amity knew what was going on in the Demon Realm.
Dipper and Sasha continued their swords as they continued their little duel. Dipper quickly kicked one of the swords from Sasha's hand before disarming her with his sword.
Now Sasha was disarmed and she had to do something to win this match. Dipper was about to hit her but then she rolled past the blade, flicked her wrist and fell on her rear. Then Sasha got up where she ran towards Dipper, who looked ready for Sasha making contact with his body.
When she got close, she dodged the first hit before the second hit tapped her in the chest, meaning she was out. "I got ya!"
Sasha grinned. "Were you first or second?"
Dipper looked down and realised that Sasha had a dagger on his stomach, leading Dipper to realise she won. He grinned at her. "Well played." He deactivated his weapon. "Okay, I think it's just you and Anne who are next."
"Yup, me and Anne." Sasha then began to realise something as she stared at Anne. The way she stared off into the Marauder camp, the way the wind blew her hair, the way she posed like some kind of superhero brooding and the way she was fighting a small fly that was bothering her. All this was making Sasha's cheeks turn red and her stomach to feel like a car crash. "Me….and Anne."
Round 4: Anne Boonchuy vs Sasha Waybright.
The two were circling each other, waiting for one of them to make the first move. But unfortunately, due to their feelings, they were a little nervous. They couldn't stop thinking about how she was suddenly feeling these things for her best friend.
"Dang, she looks hot." Sasha said in her thoughts. "Oh, why am I having these thoughts."
"If we have a beach day adventure, I don't think I can handle Sasha in a swimsuit!" Anne's eyes went wide. "Oh no! I'm thinking it!"
"It's just a bit of sparring, Waybright. Just hit with her sword. No! Hit her sword!"
"Boonchuy, just focus on something else, maybe that will help."
"Hey, you two gonna fight?!" Luz asked.
"Yeah." Dipper agreed.
"Focus on another topic, Sasha. Just focus."
Sasha screamed as she began running towards Anne with her swords out. Anne deflected the both of their swords. Despite their previous sword fights being aggressive before, since they were training, they were going a bit easier on each other. Or maybe they were being clumsy.
Anne's feelings for Sasha were making her a bit clumsy. Her deflects were a little slow and Sasha's hits were slow as well. Something the other three noticed.
"Is this slow?" Luz asked. "I thought they would be more aggressive."
"Uh, guess that's what happens when you have feelings for each other." Amity remarked.
"They have feelings for each other?" Dipper asked.
Anne and Sasha continued their clumsy training while trying to find ways to avoid talking about their feelings.
"Focus Anne. What should you do? Wait! My feelings for Sasha aren't important! The frogs are!" It was at this moment, Anne had completely forgotten about the frogs.
Anne groaned. "Haven't we waited long enough. We've gotta get down there."
"To be fair, I do have a handful of grenades in my shoe." Dipper said.
Amity stared at Dipper with her eyebrows raised. "How are you walking?"
Sasha chuckled nervously. "Thank goodness this is taking my mind off of this unimportant thing."
"Come on Anne, it haven't even been thirty minutes."
Dipper looked at his watch. "Yeah. It's been 13 minutes."
"How?!" Anne exclaimed.
"Dang. Guess time got slow for a moment." Luz remarked.
"Just, give them a bit more time." Sasha suggested.
The two then continued their little sword fight but things were getting more aggressive. "Okay, now we're getting somewhere."
"Oh yeah! Now we're getting aggressive." Anne then realised something. "Wait a sec, how am I attracted to Sasha? Like, literally! After everything she has done! All the psychological bullying, all the lying and all the betrayals and somehow I'm attracted to her! How can I be in love with someone who has done so much to me!"
Anne rolled. "Easy for you to say!" Anne threw her sword, causing it to impale in-between Dipper's legs.
This made Dipper sweat. "Can someone pull this from the log?!"
"What do you mean by that?" Sasha asked while Luz struggled to pull the sword out from behind.
Anne stuttered. "I-it's nothing. On your left!" Anne began to charge towards Sasha who deflected her hit.
"No! It's probably something like that!" Sasha retorted while Amity used some ginormous Abomination glove to pull the blade out. "You probably think I treat the frogs like soldiers. But to me, they're my responsibility! They were my responsibility after you were gone! And in that time, I began to grow a connection and they began to trust me! Though, there was that one time they had their pitchforks and torches out due to their town motto."
"Huh, I thought they'd temporarily stop using it with the war going on." Anne said.
"Anne, I care about these frogs and I trust them." Sasha said. "I have had missions with them and they keep performing stuff I wouldn't have expected. Just trust them. They have this. I know I'm making a tough call, but this wasn't the toughest call I made."
Anne sighed. "Okay. I trust you on this. But, I'd be shocked if Toadie saved their lives." Anne and Sasha laughed before continuing their duel which was getting a whole lot better and exciting.
Sasha jumped over Anne and began to deflect her hits while the others watched on. Luz, was thankfully now dry though her hair was very messy and Amity was helping her out by using an Abomination hair brush while Dipper was just stroking Ghost, whom liked the human author's affection.
Luz chuckled while Amity was straightening her hair, something that Amity took notice of. "What's so funny, Hermosa?"
"I'm just thinking, when we get back to the Boiling Isles, could you imagine Eda and the others finishing all the things we would have been doing after all the preparations we did to get back there? I mean, King's true identity, rebuilding a door to the Human Realm and defeating Belos and the other Coven Heads. Just, imagine. Do you think Belos could be petrified?"
"Or maybe Belos could be destroyed by Andrias during the Coven Day Parade." Amity theorised.
"The what?"
"The Coven Day Parade." Amity replied. "It's an annual event celebrating all of the Covens. There are floats, streamers, fireworks and all sorts of stuff that happens."
"I don't know, that sounds like a fancy way to kiss the Emperor's…." Dipper froze when he saw Amity narrowing her eyes at the author while covering her girlfriend's ears. "….royal behind."
Amity removed her ears from Luz's ears. "You know, after hearing a lot about Belos, I'm glad I'm missing it. I seriously hope Andrias blows him to smithereens."
Back in Andrias' palace, Darcy was finishing off a list. "Okay, so there's the Coven Day Parade coming up which sounds like a fancy way to kiss your…..Uh, I can't even use profanity? Dang this stupid body!"
"Yes." The holographic image of Belos replied. "In a way, it is. Look, you can attack the Boiling Isles on any day you want just don't let it be on any of these days. The Day of Unity especially."
"When would be a good time?"
"I don't know! The Bonesborough brawl?!"
"I could send one of my scouts to see if it's worth conquering." Darcy suggested. "I mean, all my eyes are on Earth and I don't have a strong rivalry to any one of your world compared to Anne and her stupid rebellion!"
"Hmm, it does make sense. Anyhow, good luck with your quest." Belos disappeared.
"Okay, Coven Day Parade ain't good." Darcy began to ponder their next move. "Okay, we know when the Day of Unity is so…..I'll attack the Isles after Earth." They looked forward and narrowed their eyes. "What?! You wanted me to destroy the Isles first?! I don't even give a hoot about what this guy is doing even though it would cause a dent in my conquest! I will not go there instantly to ruin some stupid parade or destroy a moon! Like, why would I destroy a moon unless I crash it into the planet?!"
The newts they were shouting at shivered in fear before running out before they could see their anger get worst.
Back on the ground.
"Eh, it would be quite the dent in whatever Belos is planning." Amity said.
"And about King, what if his so-called origin story turns out to be true?" Luz asked.
"I mean, that'd be an awesome twist." Amity remarked.
"Or what if he really is a reincarnation of Bill?" Dipper theorised.
Luz blew a raspberry. "No. He can't be this Bill. I highly doubt it. Sure, he had dreams of being a tyrannical ruler before but he is not that triangle guy."
"I mean it's King, how much worst is he to this Bill?" Amity asked.
"A whole lot worse." Dipper replied. "When I was in Gravity Falls, Bill was the biggest problem for us. He could literally do whatever the heck he wanted with no repercussions. He was chaos if chaos was a person. He could steal the teeth of a deer, switch every orifices on your face, turn your fingers into toes or blow you to smithereens or he could move a moon from an eclipse and he'd just laugh. He'd just laugh at the chaos. He thinks existence as a joke and in so, wanted to destroy our universe before moving on to another. I don't know what I'd do if I have to face someone else as powerful as him. I have faced many threats before, but none were worst than Bill. He almost ended us, if it weren't for my Grunkle."
Luz and Amity stared at Dipper like he had just told a terrifying story, which to be a fair, a demon who thinks existence is a joke and chaos is all that matters would sound terrifying, but Bill sounded like someone they wouldn't want to mess with.
Back with Anne and Sasha, their duel had been going on for so long that the two were beginning to sweat profusely. A sight that was making both of their stomachs turn.
The toad lieutenant threw one of her swords towards Anne which she quickly deflected before charging towards her and clashing their blades against each other.
They narrowed their eyes at each other, as the clashing got louder and louder. "Give up, Boonchuy." Sasha chided playfully.
"Ha! Not in a million years, Waybright." Anne retorted.
"Are you going to kiss me?" Sasha asked. "Just like how Luz cheated her way to the win."
"It's not cheating if it's your girlfriend!" Luz argued.
"Okay, that saying doesn't make sense regarding what I said." Sasha said.
"Yeah, I would kiss you but we're not girlfriends yet."
Sasha froze and turned red at what Anne said. "Wait, what?!"
It was at this moment Anne did a spin kick, causing Sasha to fall on her rear and for Anne to point a sword at her neck yet Anne was sweating with embarrassment over what she said before.
"Uh….Forget what I said."
"What do you mean?" Sasha asked. "Specifically about us not being girlfriend's yet?"
Luz, Amity and Dipper watched on with Dipper looking annoyed. "Great. Relationship dramas. They always ruin everything."
Anne was now sweating buckets as she struggled to come up with a lie. "I was…Just kidding Sasha! I was just putting you off!"
Sasha looked sad and disappointed at Anne's response. She had hoped that she and Anne had shared the same feelings, but it appears she was wrong.
"Oh, right." Sasha stood up and walked to the log.
The disappointed look on Sasha's face made Anne realise that Sasha did share the same feelings as her. Anne groaned in annoyance at what she did. "Dang it, Boonchuy! Sasha, listen!"
"Anne! I get it!" Sasha interjected. "You don't need to say anything, I understand." Sasha looked like she was about to cry while Anne looked guilty about her stupid mistake.
"Should we do something?" Luz asked. "I feel as though I'm ignoring a perfectly good ship!"
"Luz, you can't interfere in this sort of thing." Dipper warned her. "Believe me, Mabel tried and it caused a lot of chaos."
"Maybe, try and give it a nudge." Luz suggested. "Like Hooty did with me and Amity."
"Look, they'll just need to talk about it." Dipper said. "Right now, we wait." Dipper then began to reach into his pocket for something.
"Dipper, no!" Sasha's interjection made Dipper put whatever he was about to pull out back into his pocket.
About a few hours later, everyone was still waiting for Croaker's team to give the signal to retrieve the supplies. During that time, Dipper tried sneaking another weapon which happened to be a smoke bomb. But Ghost smacked it out of his hand, leading Dipper to be more annoyed.
While that went on, Luz was looking into a puddle at her new hair style, which happened to be a ponytail. "Wow. I never went for hairstyles since I was a little girl. But I never realised how good they looked on me."
"I'm glad you like it, beautiful." Amity said as she held her girlfriend round her waist.
"Though, I don't know if my shirt really matches with the pony tail." Luz said. "Maybe, a jock jacket."
Amity turned red as she pictured her girlfriend in a jacket like that. "Yeah. Maybe I could be your cheerleader."
Luz grinned at Amity's little flirt. "Oh, Blight. You already are." She took her hand and kissed it.
While them two were being flirts, Anne rolled her eyes and looked to Sasha with guilt. Ever since that weird incident, she hadn't said a word to Sasha about it, even though she knows she needs to. It was a this moment, Anne walked up to Sasha.
"Hey Sash."
"Hey." Sasha replied bluntly.
"Look about what I said before." Anne sighed. "I didn't…" It was at this moment, Anne felt like she was struggling to breathe. She began tapping her throat before making very terrifying choking sounds.
Anne! Are you okay?!" Sasha began to panic which lead the others to do the same.
"Anne?!" Luz exclaimed.
"Are you choking?!" Amity asked.
"It's okay! I know the Heimlich manoeuvre!" Before he could do it though, a knife span towards him but it missed him.
The four turned round and saw the person choking Anne, was none other than Malsacc, who was yet again, still alive! He held his hand out in a choking position that he was using against Anne.
Luz pulled out a few glyphs, while Ghost turned to staff mode that Amity caught, Dipper pulled out his laser sword while Sasha pulled her swords out.
Malsacc sighed before letting go of Anne, whom struggled to breathe before standing up, still taking a large mouthful of breaths.
"Malsacc!" Sasha said as she gripped her swords.
"How the heck are you still alive?!" Dipper exclaimed. "You were shot 14 times!"
Malsacc smiled as he pulled his sword out. "Sometimes, a witch with a mission can not die."
Anne pulled out her sword. "Okay, I don't know how lucky you are, you seriously just need to die."
Anne and Sasha charged at Malsacc with their swords at the ready. They tried hitting him, but he deflected all their hits effortlessly. Then, Luz used an Earth glyph that hit him in the face, causing him to stumble before being kicked in the chest by Amity.
Then, when Dipper tried to stab him, he luckily deflected the hit and kicked his leg. Anne ran up to the witch and they deflected all their hits, till Sasha threw a knife in his knee, causing him to fumble to the ground and then being kneed in the chin by Anne.
Malsacc was about to stand up, but he was stopped by six swords. Two were dual wielded by Sasha, one was ice, one was a laser a sword, the other was Abomination and the other was dual wiled.
Dipper shrugged his shoulders. "Well, that was easy."
"Huh, I guess escaping death too many times must be quite exhausting for you, Malsacc." Sasha remarked.
Malsacc coughed up some blood. "It gets tiring."
"Amity, tie him up." Amity acknowledged the commanded from Sasha and used her Abominations to tie Malsacc up.
"Oh, not even going to try and end my existence?"
"Honestly, with you surviving so much, I don't think it's worth it." Sasha replied. "But we're going to keep you alive."
"And do what?" Malsacc asked. "Hold me prisoner?" Malsacc laughed.
Anne raised her finger high like she was about to declare something big. "We'll….Think about it!"
"Let's discuss this." Sasha said.
Anne, Sasha, Luz, Amity and Dipper walked a few steps from him while Dipper kept another spare laser gun on him to make sure he didn't escape.
"Okay, what do we do?" Luz asked.
"I say we kill him, right there!" Amity argued.
"No, he'll just come back again." Sasha said. "Somehow alive. I mean, he was stabbed, got blown up in a car, hit by an airplane and shot 14 times."
"And I crashed into a tree." Malsacc said.
"Thank you!" Sasha and the others walked further away from the witch so he wouldn't listen in.
"Can't we lock him in the Wartwood dungeons?" Luz asked. "If you guys have dungeons."
"No, we have prisons." Sasha said.
"And they're usually very western." Anne said. "Like, you could literally snatch the key from a sleeping sheriff."
"Well that's going to be a problem." Luz remarked.
"How about we abandon him here?" Anne suggested.
"And leave him out here for our enemies to find?!" Amity asked.
"You know, maybe they execute him." Luz said.
"And how do we know he wouldn't negotiate his way out of this one?" Sasha asked.
"I did behead Butcher in Andrias' throne and he was pretty cool about it." Malsacc said.
"Okay, thanks for the input!" Sasha and her team then moved further away from the witch to discuss the plan.
"Okay, we'll decide what we're doing with him once Croaker's team are done with their thing." Sasha said. "Till then, Dipper, Luz, you two watch him closely."
"Aye aye, captain!" Luz exclaimed.
"And please never do that again." Sasha pleaded.
About 12 minutes later, Anne and Sasha were still in the no talk zone, Amity was tending to Ghost while Luz and Dipper were watching the tied up Malsacc, who didn't try to escape once. Something that was very suspicious.
Anne and Sasha took glances at each other and looked away, blushing. "Hey Anne, about what you said…"
"Sash, I was lying." Anne sighed. "I do…..I….I do like you. A lot. As more than a friend."
"You do?" Sasha asked. "You aren't saying that to be nice, right?"
Anne shook her head. "No Sash, I genuinely want to be more with you. I…Want you to be my girlfriend."
Sasha sighed. "You know what Anne? So do I." Anne's stomach turned at Sasha's words. She has feelings for her as well? This was amazing for her, until Sasha sighed. "But, I don't think we should be together." Anne gasped. "Don't worry, it's not for stupid over complicated reasons. But right now, there is so much stuff going on. Andrias, rescuing Marcy and stopping the Day of Unity that being in a relationship would be too much to handle. But I promise one thing Anne, once we get back to Earth, we will….." Sasha blushed. "….I don't know, see a movie? And see how things go? Would you like that?"
Anne smiled. "Yeah, I really would. Because let's face it, if we were in a relationship now, then it would probably ruining on the main things we should be focusing on."
"I know! Totally." Sasha replied. "Like, remember Moon Vs The Forces of Bad?"
"I know! They went all ship, no lore by season 3 and 4." Anne said. "No wonder Moon and Marcus becoming a couple was forced."
Back with Dipper and Luz, the two were keeping an eye on Malsacc, whom was smiling at what was going on, something that raised Dipper's suspicion levels to a high point.
"Malsacc, what are you planning?" Dipper asked.
"What makes you think I'm planning anything?" Malsacc asked.
"You were easily defeated." Luz pointed out. "Like, really easy. It's really suspicious."
Malsacc chuckled. "I'm weak Luz. I have died, so many times. I swear it's causing me to lose my mind quite a bit. Don't you think? Because, under other circumstances the right thing to do would be to give up and enjoy the rest of your retirement, but no, I didn't. And I got all the scars and wounds to prove it."
"What's your game now?!" Dipper asked.
"To kill you, without laying a finger on you." Malsacc replied.
"With what, telekinesis?" Luz asked. "Uh oh! Dipper, keep an eye out for the trees! Or rocks! Or worst, using the others as a rag doll!"
"Oh, it won't be like that." Malsacc said. "Plus, I can't do that. It's some other, interesting things I wish to share with you. Dipper my friend, have you ever pondered what the bite mark on Pacifica is?"
Dipper was confused. "It's a goblin bite."
"Yes. From good old Granem, may he rest in peace. But, one thing about Granem I forgot to mention about is, he's a Bodywalker."
Amity froze. "Wait, what?!"
"Bodywalker?" Anne asked.
"What do you mean?" Dipper asked all concerned and confused. "What is a Bodywalker?"
"A fragment of a recently deceased witch's soul imprinted on a living thing via a bite." Malsacc replied.
Dipper pulled out his laser gun and aimed it at his head. "You're lying."
Malsacc chuckled. "No. I don't lie. I prefer to be blunt instead of lying to get into people's head. I feel the truth is much more….Intense than a lie. You see, Pacifica is carrying a new version of Granem in her belly and soon enough, well, you'll have to figure it our for yourself. Cause, it won't be coming out the human way."
Dipper was about to shoot, but Amity quickly formed a shield in front of him. "Dipper! This is what he wants! He is lying! He is trying to get into your head!"
Dipper narrowed his eyes at the witch, still feeling like he should probably kill him. But there was the possibility of him telling the truth and knowing how to help her.
Malsacc sighed. "Oh dear. I guess you aren't easy to break. Oh well, I guess Luz is next."
Luz froze at the mention of her name. "What do you mean? Why am I next?"
Malsacc smiled. "King."
"What about Andrias?"
"Not Andrias, King." Malsacc replied. "You know, when Butcher and I arrived to Amphibia, King happened to tag along with us. He tried to stop me from gaining the box, but clearly he failed." Anne, Sasha, Dipper and Amity froze at the mention of the box being back in Amphibia. "After I killed Butcher, Andrias got his little box back and Darcy, revealed a shocking revelation about King, he was not the kind of demons, but he is still a prince. He is a prince to a Titan. Yes, King is a baby Titan."
Everyone was shocked, Luz especially. She couldn't believe it. She had her way back home all along and it was somebody she didn't want to kill. "No! You're lying! King is not a Titan!"
"Then why does The Core want his blood?"
Luz clenched her fists angrily which were causing her hair to rise. "No! No! No! No! No!"
"Yes, King is at Andrias' palace." Malsacc laughed. "His blood being extracted as we speak. And The Core isn't being nice to him. No they are not."
Luz's anger rose and her veins began to glow green. Amity quickly held her arm to try and calm he down. "You're lying!" Amity yelled.
"I wish you could hear his scream, Luz." Malsacc laughed. "Wait a momento, you can!" He then flicked his wrist, causing a hologram to fall out revealing a projection of King, being tied to robotic tentacles from his limbs while screaming in pain.
The sight of her surrogate brother being tortured like this made Luz reach her breaking point as her Calamity powers, unleashed!
The unexpected power from Luz made Amity, Anne, Sasha and Dipper fly backwards into a tree. When they sat up, they were horrified. Anne and Dipper had seen it before, but seeing it in action was still terrifying. Sasha as well, was scared and shocked at what Luz was capable of. While Amity herself, had tears falling from her eyes as she was finally seeing how powerful and scary her girlfriend was.
"Luz!" Amity screamed, trying to get her attention. "Luz!"
"Why did you do this, Malsacc?!" Dipper asked angrily.
"Isn't it obvious?" Malsacc laughed. "Luz is so powerful that she could literally kill anyone. Even accidentally." He then freed himself from the Abomination. "I needed you out of my way. Since I know you could kill me again, I had to improvise. Now…." He used his magic to summon his staff and jumped on it. "….Bye! Bye!"
Before he could get further away, Luz managed to stop him and used her powers to turn his newfound staff into ash before grabbing him by the collar. "Has your near death experiences made your brains mushy?!" Luz's voice sounded sinister, like someone else was piloting her this time. She smiled sinisterly before throwing him to the ground, causing a medium sized crater to show.
Croaker's team rendezvoused with the others, still in shock at what Luz was doing. "What's going on?!" Maddie asked. "How is she doing this?!"
"It's the power from the box!" Anne replied.
"What?!" Wally asked.
"Same as me and Sasha!"
"When did you two have powers?!" Loggle asked.
Then, Luz began smashing Malsacc's head against the tree, causing blood to appear. "You will die! You will die! Malsacc! You will die!"
"Quick, get the supplies!" Sasha commanded.
"On it! Dipper!"
Dipper nodded his head to Wally before pushing a button on his wrist, causing all of the supplies to teleport outside the camp and into the cart.
"Huh?!" Sasha reacted.
"Long story short, to make it quicker, I had Wally plant small teleportation devices on the supplies so….Look, can I explain this later?!"
Then Luz jumped high in the air, still holding Malsacc by his collar. She then placed two of her fingers in his stomach, causing it to burn while he screamed.
Luz narrowed her eyes at him one last time before performing a super powerful punch that caused him to fly into the camp causing it to blow up, along with Barry and the rest of his crew. She then formed an ice glyph from her Calamity powers and formed an ice shard she used to fire at the unconscious Malsacc, impaling him in the eye.
The sight of what Luz had done, made everyone stare at her in horror. Amity especially, just didn't see her Luz anymore, but someone else entirely. Well, everyone was scared except for Toadie.
"Well Luz, it appears you broke out of your shell as well." Toadie remarked.
"There is no Luz! There is only me!" The possessed Luz narrowed her eyes at the team. "I cannot be controlled! You will not control me! I will destroy Andrias even if I have to destroy everyone around me! Even everyone that is close to this body!"
Amity froze in horror, instantly knowing that her theory was correct. This was not Luz. She saw that the overpowered Luz's energy was getting stronger, which was causing the ground to crack and the trees to float.
"What's happening?!" Croaker asked.
"I don't know!" Dipper replied. "Let's go before anything gets worst!" Whilst Sasha and the others ran for their lives, Amity was still staring at her girlfriend with horror and sadness.
"Luz! Luz!" Amity began running.
Ghost stopped when they saw that their owner wasn't joining them, something that Anne noticed as well. "Amity!"
"Anne! Run!" Sasha commanded. "That's an order!"
Anne was at first hesitant, but she picked up Ghost and joined the others with Loggle pushing the cart towards Wartwood.
Amity quickly formed an Abomination that picked her up and threw her towards Luz. When she got close to the atomic Luz, she tackled her to the ground, causing a huge crater to show and a few of the trees to evaporate.
"No! No! Let me go!" The possessed Luz demanded as she struggled to get out of Amity's grip.
"No! Luz, if you're in there, wake up! Wake up for me!" Amity pleaded. "Please!"
"No! She won't wake up! She's in here!"
"Exactly! Which is why she is fighting her way out!" She hugged the possessed Luz, whom was shocked by the affection it was given.
But somehow, that hug was causing the possessed human witch to calm down her powers. The possessed Luz tried to keep control, but the power of Amity's affection was causing Luz to take back control.
"I…I can't lose control! I can't….lose, control! I…..I…I….I….I….." Luz's lips began to shake before she held to Amity, tighter and began to cry. "Oh, Amity! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I…I lost…I…."
Amity, now had tears falling from her own eyes as she hugged her girlfriend tighter. "It's okay Luz. It's okay. It's okay."
Back in the present, Sasha finished drinking a cup of bog grog.
"We checked the camp for survivors, luckily there was. Except, Barry was eaten by them and Malsacc looked super dead." Sasha said. "Though, I highly doubt he'd be down for long."
Hunter looked to Luz, whom was drinking her tea while Amity held her to assure her that she was here. He felt sorry for her. He dreamt of using her powers against his uncle, but now he isn't so sure if it was a good idea seeing how much it has affected Luz.
Then, Hunter began to tap his head to check his bite mark that Granem gave him. Making him realise that Pacifica might not be the only one possessed by a Bodywalker.
Dipper looked at his girlfriend, whom had arrived with towels for the traumatised Luz. He stared at her stomach, pondering if Malsacc was lying to him. Or was there something slowly killing his girlfriend?
