It feels like it's been forever since I met Izuku at that playground.

Years ago, I met the future protagonist of the show during his iconic moment of heroism as a child against Baby Bakugo. On that day, I was presented a choice. The option to either interfere now or to wait until Baka-go and his cronies left, because of course not doing anything wasn't an option. I decided the most reckless of the two and told Bakugo to shove it.

It was fucking hilarious how the four-year-old tried to fight me. I'd been training for years with Grandpa Gohan and this four-year-old hothead tried to fight me.

Now, sure, the blondie didn't know what I was capable of, but that didn't make it any less hilarious when I beat him the fuck up and sent his ass packing.

Soon after that, Izuku started viewing me as if I was the second coming of Christ. Every day since then, he's always met up with me on my resting days and we've just kind of hung out.

Now, I've been cautious so as not to reveal any future shit or say anything that might make the timeline stray from the original because I would honestly rather Izuku get One for All.

At this point, I'm about 11 years old, a little bit weaker than Goku was at the start of the original show, and I've got a bunch of Ki techniques as a bonus.

If I wanted to get into U.A., I could honestly pass the practical effortlessly if I applied right now. Unfortunately, you can't apply to a high school as an 11-year-old, so its just gonna be more training for the next three years.

Hey, at least I can fly now! And also perform the Kamehameha, among other techniques. Honestly, Gohan is my favorite person in the universe right now.

Today, I'm continuing my training to master the current Ki techniques I have at my disposal.

As I charged up my Kamehameha, I focused on concentrating the energy as much as possible while putting only a medium amount of Ki into it. As the beam fired, it blew through the forest like paper, hitting the wall of a nearby mountain and creating an indent about twice my current height.

Not bad. Certainly could be worse for someone my age...

I sensed Grandpa's approach through his Ki, "Goku, I see you have improved with your Ki"

I nodded frantically, half of it due to excitement the other half being the need to keep up the appearance of a child, "Mhm! I want to be just as strong as you Grandpa!" Even though half of what I do around Grandpa is to deceive him, I have grown a certain fondness towards Gohan. He is like family.

The older man chuckles, "You'll get there one day, I know it. Just remember that through thick and thin, kindness is the greatest strength. To be kind to another, no matter their faults or mistakes is to be the better person." Honestly, the advice was not bad. Very sagelike.

"Can we spar today, Grandpa?" I asked, wanting to improve my combat skills.

Gohan seemed to think about it before nodding, "After lunch, my boy. You've been training all morning and I know you must be hungry."

Honestly? The appetite of a Saiyan was one of my least favorite aspects of these powers.

[A few days later]

Today, I was on my way to meet Izuku at our usual spot when I noticed something interesting.

I'd usually arrive to the city half an hour early because I liked to explore, but when I was walking through the streets of South Musutafu I noticed a strange Ki in an alleyway.

Now, this isn't the first time that this has happened, I've felt my fair share of malicious auras over the years of exploring this city. This one though... this one was different. It's difficult to explain but it felt like... like love and pleasure, but also hunger and sadness.

It felt familiar in a way. I'd never actually felt this aura before, but I know I've seen these feelings somewhere. I went to check it out.

The moment I entered the alleyway, I immediately noticed that there was blood on the wall. Taking a more critical glance, I'd notice that it was most certainly fresh. Okay, someone just committed a murder and is still in this alleyway. Time to play hero, again.

I unsheathed my power pole after checking I had my emergency Senzu beans, now in a fighter's stance, and slowly approached the end of the alley. Honestly, this was the first time I saw a corpse in this universe, which was quite surprising.

There was a girl, not much older than myself, she had blonde hair and a schoolgirl's outfit on. The girl was leaning over the body, her mouth attached to the now-deceased man's neck, drinking his blood. Holy shit.

I just met Himiko Toga. I internally cursed.

What the hell was I supposed to do? It'd be immoral to just leave Himiko to do what she wants but, on the other hand, if I captured her now, she wouldn't be what Twice needed to get over his trauma.

Okay, new plan! We'll talk to her, try not to die, but leave right after. Hopefully, she should still become a villain... I'm going to mess everything up, aren't I?

Snapping me out of my thoughts, I heard Himiko detach herself from the corpse and gasp in satisfaction. "So... good!"

"Hi," I said warily.

She snapped her head so fast in my direction that I thought her neck was broken. Her eyes widened and her hands flinched.

We just kind of stared at each other for several moments before I spoke up. "Uh... nice weather we're having?" I tried to break the tension, earning myself an expression of complete confusion on her face.

"Sorry, that was a dumb thing to say given the situation." I tried to amend, but she stayed silent.

. . .

Alright, time to do the most reckless thing ever.

"Do you... Do you want more?" I asked.

Her eyes widened before she sped towards me with a smile on her face, "More? I'd love more! Can I have yours? Please, let me have yours!" she said, getting dangerously close.

I mentally willed the power pole to extend, making it push Toga back to her previous spot next to the corpse. "I'll give you some more, but I'd like something in exchange."

She narrowed her eyes at me, "like... what...?"

"Can we be friends?" I said, internally berating myself for being so stupid.

A blush formed across her face as her accusing expression shifted to a wide-eyed one, "Friends?! Of course! I'd love to be friends!"

I slowly sheathed the power pole after allowing it to shorten again and I took out a Senzu bean from my Gi's pocket, holding it hidden in my left hand. I walked closer to her and stretched out my right arm. "Go ahead."

Honestly? She was kind of like a cat and I'm not just talking about her appearance. Himiko slowly stalked towards me, a little bit untrusting of the offer but once she was close enough to know that I wouldn't escape, she pounced, sinking her fangs in my wrist.

It honestly hurt and it felt like hours before I gently pushed her off. Wow, I feel completely exhausted, although I'm pretty sure she drained a lot outta me. Thank Kami for Senzu beans.

I put the lifesaving bean in my mouth, chewing it for a few moments before swallowing and feeling my exhaustion fade and my wound heal. Himiko looked at me strangely, seeing how I suddenly had my energy back.

"It's my quirk," I untruthfully explained the unsaid question, "Among other things, every so often I can create these beans that, when a person eats them, they get healed of all wounds and negative conditions. Downside is I can't decide to produce them and it just kind of happens when it happens."

I sat down next to Himiko, my back facing the alleyway wall and my tail wrapped tightly around my waist. "So... you like blood?" I asked.

"Yea, blood tastes amazing!" She replied as she sat down across from me.

I snuck a glance at the corpse that lay beside us. Poor guy, really. "So," I looked back to Himiko who was still looking at me, "What's your quirk?

The unnerving light in her eyes dimmed a little from the question. Not that it was unexpected of course but still noteworthy.

"Well... When I drink someone's blood I can look like them for a while," she said, her previous excitement now lost.

I looked at her for a bit, analyzing her expression. Sure she's a murderer but she's also been beaten down by assholes throughout her life. I still kind of need her to be a villain though so...

"Well, I think that's pretty cool. Much better than my quirk." I said, earning a shocked expression from Toga.

We sat for around 10 minutes, her stunned expression never faltering. I was honestly about to get worried before noticed that... she was crying? Wow, that's weird. I mean, she's never shown to cry in the show so I guess it's just surreal.

"You, um- want a hug?" I offered, getting a shaky nod in return.

As I approached her, I thought about what was happening. I was still a little hesitant at progressing with this whole situation, but it's already started and I can't really back out now. Or, well, I could, and then she'd hate me and I'd be no better than all the people who ruined her life.

So, as we sat in the crime scene of the alleyway I thought about what I was going to do as we hugged and Himiko cried.

Eventually, as the sun went down, I realized that I had to leave. It didn't seem right to just leave her on her own, but if I wanted her to join the League then I had no choice.

"Toga."

"Yea..?" She looked up at me, her eyes red from crying.

I looked at her, "I need to go, it's getting really late."

Toga looked up at the night sky and I noticed the slightly scared expression in her eyes. She looked back to me, "Promise that we'll meet again, okay?"

I nodded with a smile on my face, "Of course, I promise."

We separated after a moment and, as I was about to fly off, I turned around. "I'll always be your friend. Remember that, okay?" I said with a large grin before charging up my ki and flying back home, leaving the girl to her own devices.

Hopefully I didn't screw anything up. Wait... I was supposed to meet up with Izuku today! Shit.
