Rage, anger, every violent emotion that existed flowed through my veins alongside seawater, I was sure of that. It took all of my self control and then some to stop myself from strangling her on the spot. How long has it been since I've seen that red, now dyed blonde, snake? Who knows, I didn't have a calendar or a clock aboard the Dutchman, and time passed by weirdly whenever we traveled to the other side.
"A-Are you going to kill us?" Zoe asked, her voice trembling. While she hadn't done anything to me personally, and judging by her reaction, she likely didn't know anything. But that didn't mean she was completely innocent, she raised that little monster after all.
"Kill you? Now why would I do that?" I ignored Anne's glare and poked Zoe's forehead with an armored finger, bending my back slightly. She visibly relaxed. "Death is a mercy, why would I give any of you such a gift?"
Emma and Alan remained silent. I could practically smell the fear radiating from all of them. Ignoring Norrington's disapproving stare, I placed both my hands behind my back.
"What's wrong Emma? You don't have anything to say? I half expected you to be on your knees, begging for mercy." I stepped in front of her. She only gave me a blank stare, until she snarled and spat on my boots. Even now with her life in my hands, she looked down upon me?! I saw red, and I slapped her with my unarmored hand, whipping her head to the side. "You dare disrespect me on my own ship?"
"Emma!" Zoe and Anne struggled against their bonds. Four crewmembers made sure to hold them in place.
"Don't you dare touch her!" The man who I could once call uncle shouted, anger and despair cracking his voice. Making my way to his spot in a few steps, I grabbed him by the neck with my crab hand, lifting him up slowly, forcing him onto his feet while his family looked on helplessly.
"Or what? Are you going to sue me?" I growled. Alan struggled, his cheeks turning red as his arms wiggled around, the chains preventing him from moving them too far. "I'm afraid you can't sue someone who's already dead." I dropped him, letting him land on his butt with a thud.
"Fuck you!" Anne screamed. I liked Anne, she was always nice whenever I slept over, and she made us cookies sometimes. She had already left for college before Emma turned on me. Alan coughed violently, a bruise already forming around his neck.
Sighing softly, I leaned down, Alan's green eyes meeting my own. "Tell me 'Uncle', do you fear death?"
I could see him swallow something, saliva perhaps. He gave Zoe and Anne a look, one that I remembered Dad used to give Mom.
"I'll take my chances." He spat out, his voice hoarse. "Just leave the girls out of this! I'm the one you want." Ah, trying to be the hero, even after he helped ruin my life.
"They'll have their turn soon enough." I turned my head to Emma, her glare attempting to put a hole in my body. "But first, I need to show them that I mean business." I straightened my back, and placed my crab claw on top of his head, squeezing slightly. As it turned out, becoming the Captain of the Flying Dutchman allowed me to curse people.
"Alan!"
"Dad!"
"Daddy!"
I smirked as I felt the power of the sea flow through me.
"Alan Barnes, I banish your body from this realm." I started speaking as Alan started to scream. "I curse you with immortality to forever roam the Eartg, watching your family suffer for all eternity. You shall be able to see them, but you'll never be able to feel their touch or gain their attention ever again!"
Alan's body melted into seawater, the cries of Emma, Anne and Zoe mixing with the laughs of the seagulls and the rest of the crew.
"Annie, it's your turn, but since you've always been nice to me, I'll give you an offer." I turned to the elder Barnes daughter, who was still staring at the spot where her Father had once been. I poked her cheek with my fleshly finger. "AnAn, it's rude to ignore someone when they're talking to you."
Now that got her attention.
"T-Taylor, why are you being so cruel?" Anne choked out. She kept crying, which helped to drown out Zoe's prayers.
"Life is cruel, why should the sea be any different?" I shrugged as I wiped her tears with my fingers. It was such a shame, for a person like Anne to have a sister like Emma. "Serve before the mast for one hundred years, and I'll allow your Father to return, redeeming the Barnes family from their sins." Marina was a princess without a maid. I could use Anne to deal with her when I didn't want to.
Anne paused, turning her head upward to glare at me with her puffy red eyes. "Or?"
"Or I'll curse you to forever be hungry, denied of every pleasures in life." I tilted my head. "And I do mean every pleasure."
"Don't listen to her, Anne!" Zoe suddenly stopped praying. Oh great, pretending to be strong in front of her kids? Did she not just see what I did to Alan? "Believe in the Lord-"
"I am the Lord of the Depths, Aunt Zoe." I snarled, which made her flinch. "No one can save you here, except for me." I turned back to Anne. "So, what do you say Annie?"
Anne shook softly, looking like she was about to vomit. She turned towards her Mother, and gave Emma a brief glance. "W-What will happen to them?"
"Whatever I decide."
Anne nodded slowly. "Let Mom go, and I'll serve two hundred years!" Ah, no mention of Emma in that deal. It wasn't a bad deal, Zoe's soul wasn't worth that much anyways.
"Deal." I extended my fleshly left hand, a smirk growing on my face. Anne took my slimy hand, and with a soft groan from the Dutchman, she was bound. I turned to Ogilvey. "Release her and Zoe."
"Anne! What about me? How dare you, you, you traitor!" Emma screamed as Ogilvey took the manacles off of Anne's wrist. She rubbed them while wincing.
"You got yourself into this mess Em, I-I'm sorry." Anne looked away. Finally getting a reaction out of my tormenter felt amazing. Skipping Zoe, I made my way back to Emma.
"How does it feel Emma? Seeing your sister abandon you the same you left me." I grabbed her chin, leaning in closely. "But don't worry, I won't kill you."
"Y-You won't?" Emma tried looking away, but I didn't let her. I could sense Dutchie's excitement.
"Of course not." I said sarcastically. "I have found a much better use for you." The Dutchman groaned in approval.
"The last I checked, the Dutchman needs a new figurehead. That Grim Reaper is so old, I think it's time I do some redecorating." I released Emma's manacles, dropping them to the floor with several clangs.
"I hope you're happy, Dutchie, she's a pretty one."
A/N
I can't believe some of y'all guessed the punishment I was going to give Emma. Though some of them were very unique!
The first version was actually going to have Emma merge with the shark following the Dutchman, becoming Queen Shark, but I didn't want to add another character to the main cast so that was cut.
