Hachiman opens the door with a tired look, "I'm back…" He loudly says before yawning as he takes off his shoes.

Kiana runs down the stairs then launches herself at him, "Welcome back!" She chirps as she hugs him.

He flinches before sighing, "Kiana, thank you but please let go… I am exhausted." He places his hand on her head to give a light rub, prompting her to purr out loud like a cat.

"Ahhh~ blissssss~" She contently sighs while leaning into his touch even more, prompting him to roll his eyes and put his hand down to his side.

She blinks before using her hand to put his back on her head, "More."

"…Damn it Kiana. You read my text right? That damn Fu Hua kept dragging me all over this island, admittedly showing me some good places but I am dead tired."

"…Massage me later? Please?"

"Fine. Fine. Just let go of me."

Kiana cheers before letting go and giddily walking to the kitchen, "Mei~ Hachiman promised us a massage later tonight!"

Hachiman widens his eyes as he runs after her, "Oi! I never –" He almost accidentally runs into Mei, who is holding a pot filled with curry soup.

Mei staggers back before regaining her balance, "Hachiman! Don't scare me like that!" She scolds him before walking past.

He scratches his head, "Sorry." Before glaring at Kiana, who is innocently whistling, "Like I said, I didn't –"

"I'll be looking forward to your massage, Hachiman! Kiana told me that it was really good," Mei loudly says from the dining table in the living room.

He sighs while facepalming, "Damn it. Fine." He quickly glares at Kiana before slowly walking upstairs.

Hachiman blinks as he sees Bronya standing at the top of the stairs before shrugging. He tries to walk past her but she quickly blocks his path, prompting him to raise an eyebrow at her.

She looks away from him, "This Bronya… Would like to apologize for her actions," She quietly says.

"Act – oh." He confusedly looks at her before widening his eyes as he remembers their first meeting, "…Why are you telling me now?" He calms down then emotionlessly says, prompting her to look at him.

"The Bronya feels guilty for forcing subject Hachiman to be here. You would have been able to stay unaware of this war had it not been for This Bronya."

"…I forgive you. Don't know exactly what you did to make Mei almost become a Herrscher and almost got me killed. But Mei had vouched for you. So long as you don't repeat the shits you did, we won't have any problems."

Bronya widens her eyes, "That's it?" She quietly asks while biting her lips.

Hachiman shrugs, "We've been living in the house for a while and you never did anything to anybody. Only coming out to get food then going back." He pauses before squinting his eyes at her.

"That doesn't mean I trust you. Forgiving is something I can do after Mei vouched while trusting is something you will need to work on."

She slowly nods, "This Bronya finds it fair… The Bronya only did it to bring back her friend… By sacrificing a Herrscher core to make a suit."

"…You were planning to kill Mei?"

Bronya flinches as she hears the venom and rage in his words, "…Yes." She looks down with her eyes closed and quietly confirms.

She feels wind on her skin, prompting her to tense and grits her teeth, though she stops as she hears a sigh.

"…Tell me. Does Mei know the fact that you wanted to kill her?" He quietly asks with his hands clenched.

She lightly nods while keeping her eyes down, "It was one day after we came here."

"…Yet Mei vouched for you." She flinches when she hears his accusatory tone.

"…Yes… Even This Bronya does not know why… Out of everybody, subject Mei should be the one who hated The Bronya the most…"

Hachiman sighs as he facepalms, "That's because she is kind. I would bet that she feel sad over her backstabbers that turned into zombies." He relaxes then places a hand on her head.

Bronya flinches at the action and tries to get away, though she freezes as she feels his fingers running through her hair, "I would really like to punch you for trying to kill Mei… But she would be sad if she ever finds out." He takes a deep breath and exhales then continues.

"For her sake, I'll give you a warning. Try it again and I guarantee that you should bury me ten meter underground or I'll come back."

She looks at him with wide eyes that slowly glisten, "Why… Why are you forgiving me…? I am the Silver Wolf of the Urals… I killed people over and over… For money, because I was ordered to… You should be like Kiana… Hating me…" Tears start to fall as she sniffles.

He sighs and takes his hand off of her, "To be honest. I don't, or rather, I can't care. At the end of the day, I didn't see those people dead with my rotten fisheyes. And you said you want to change right? Then… I don't know, do whatever you think is right?"

Hachiman gestures downstairs with his head, "As a start, try to eat with us at the table. But first, I need to go change." He walks into his room without looking back then lightly closes it back.

Bronya looks at his door with a complicated expression, "…Subject Hachiman is a dangerous womanizer." She slowly walks down.

"Ahhhh~ your fingers are so good, Hachiman~"

"Yeahh~ a proper way to treat a lady~"

Hachiman sighs with his cheeks blazing red, "Would you two please stop moaning? My massages aren't even that good."

Kiana and Mei, still wearing their Valkyrie clothes since they are done with practice and feel too tired to go change, are laying down on futon-type couches while Hachiman massages both of them at the same time in the middle. He lightly presses all around their body to find the tense spots then focuses his efforts there, making them moan.

"Nope~ this is just too good~" Kiana moans out as she melts into the couch, "I really want to thank Komachi for making you learn massages!"

"…My massages aren't that good."

"Your massages are almost at professional level, Hachiman~ I know since I used to do it every week~" Mei lifts her head to smile at him before flopping back down.

"…I'll take your word for it. Also, Kiana, Komachi said she really wants to meet you and Mei."

Kiana blinks before lifting her head to look at him, "Eh? I thought you weren't on the best of terms with her?" She raises an eyebrow at him while Mei also lifts her head with a concerned expression.

Hachiman deadpans at Kiana, "I still talk to her, alright? And I needed to tell her that I was alright since she saw the news." Kiana and Mei nod before putting their heads down again.

"Well, tell her we should meet up one day! You can bring us to Chiba and show us around~"

"Yes!"

He wryly smiles at them, "Fine, one day we'll go to Chiba after we become students here, alright?"

Mei gets up, "We should go visit before taking the test, since we'll obviously be busy afterwards." She makes a puppy dog expression, "Please?"

Kiana gets up as well, "Yeah! Please?" She also makes a puppy dog expression.

Hachiman cringes as he sees their face, "Fine, let's get permission to leave the island for a while. If we can't then that's that," He reluctantly says.

Kiana and Mei raise their arms to cheer, prompting him to lightly smile, "Ah! Hachiman smiled! Yay!" The former tackles him into Mei, then tightly hugs him, "Come here Mei!" She also brings Mei into the hug.

"Ow! At least control your damn strength you gorilla!"

"Language Hachiman! But still Kiana that hurt!"

Kiana just laughs while ignoring their reprimands, and soon, Mei and Hachiman join in the laughter, though the latter only lightly chuckles.
