Percy opened his eyes slowly. He squinted in the bright light that shone through the window next to him. He turned away from it and let out a sigh. A figure, was across his dorm, Hunched over Jared's desk. Percy squinted. Wait, that WAS Jared. Percy stared at the figure for a moment. Enamored by how vigorously he was scribbling on the sheet of paper that lay on his desk. Percy glanced at his clock. He had time. Then, he saw the date. He suddenly remembered. A pit formed inside his stomach
"Happy Birthday to me." he murmured sarcastically. A sour mood began to hover over him. All the "surprises" that was revealed to him yesterday, started to flood in Percy's head. Percy sat up on his bed and sighed in defeat, He turned to Jared at the desk, who furiously still scribbling.
"What are you doing?" Percy called out. Jared froze for a second and turned his head to Percy. His face relaxed and his eyes lowered.
"I'm trying to find where they keep all the confiscated stuff." Jared said. Percy's ears perked up.
"Really?" Percy said. Jared looked back at him. An exasperated look wore on his face.
"Help me again. " He pleaded tiredly. Percy sighed, since he was now part of this plan, he had to deal with the baggage that came with it. He walked next to Jared and scratched his head before he slid down next to him. Jared drew a sigh of relief
"Finally!" Jared said breathlessly. Percy shrugged and looked at the map. After 2.5 seconds he said.
"They keep it in the faculty room, and one of the rooms marked storage closets or our cafeteria" Percy said.
"It's pretty simple. Jared leaned back in his chair with a relived look on his face.
"Why did you have to scribble on this to find it out?" He asked. Jared leaned on his hand
"I had to figure out the best route to it." He answered.
"But this..." Jared started
"Is perfect." He said. He grinned.
"I think I could send this to Ava and Charlotte." Jared added. Percy eyes snapped open
"Wait..." Percy started and snapped his head to Jared, Who had a faint smile and nodded.
"I'm gonna get ready" he said. And stood up...Leaving Percy speechless. Percy limply lifted his hand up and made a low noise
"You were telling the truth? About Charlotte being there??" He asked. A mix of excitement and shock
"Yeah." Jared said, a proud smile spread on his face.
"I wasn't lying"

"Are you sure about this" Percy whispered to Jared as they swiftly walked through the dark hallways. Jared said nothing and just put his finger to his lips as he pressed his back against the wall and slowly turned the corner. It was night time and they were on their way to pick up Charlotte and Ava. The plan was simple. Collect the girls, Infiltrate the cafeteria and the faculty room. Find it, retrieve it, and make the escape. Then, enjoy the spoils of your war. That was Jared's favorite part. Ava was mainly in it to get some of her confiscated items back. Percy had no idea how Jared managed to get rope Charlotte into it, or why she agreed, but he proved himself as one of the best-best friends in the galaxy.
"This way." Jared said. Percy nodded and trailed behind Jared. Jared turned the corner and pulled Percy into the Female dorms.
"You seem to know this route well" Percy said. Jared shot him a look before He stealthily walked past 2 doors before stopping at the third. He held his fist up. Looking both ways before he hit the oak door lightly. After a couple agonizing seconds, the door swung open, and Ava and Charlotte stood in the doorway. Instead of the Black body suit that Charlotte had Ava just had the campus sweatpants on. Ava had her hair out of her ponytail and flung lazily across her shoulders. Ava had a annoyed look on her face while Charlotte looked giddy with 2 ponytails tied up. Jared grinned and Percy gave a small wave. Attempting his best to not look like an idiot. Ava let out a bored sigh before walking past the 2 boys and down the girls dorm hallway in the direction of the staircase. Jared followed behind her, leaving Percy and Charlotte. Before he could get a word out, Charlotte skipped out in the direction of his 2 friends, leaving Percy disappointed in the doorway. He pulled the door shut, and followed the group of 3.
"What's the plan?" Charlotte asked jumping up excitedly. As soon as Percy caught up to them.
"We head out to the teacher dorms and search over there" Percy whispered as they approached the stairwell. Percy climbed up the first case of stairs
"We search the faculty room, and their little café, before we head to the storage closet" Percy added. Charlotte nodded vigorously while Ava shrugged. After heading to the correct floor, they quietly entered. The room was always open since teachers always wanted kids to enter whenever they please incase they needed help.
"What do we do now?" Charlotte whispered in Percy's ear.
Percy tapped Ava and Jared.
"What do we do now?" He asked. Jared paused for a few seconds and then spoke.
"Lets split into teams of two, me and Charlotte, and Jared and Ava."
"You two search the faculty room, while we look into the cafeteria. The group of 4 nodded and Percy gave a little clap. Jared and Ava scampered towards the faculty room. Percy looked at Charlotte and began to lead her to the café. It was only a short walk, 1 or 2 turns to the café, but as they made the last turn to the cafe, a sense of dread hung over his head. There was a huge padlock on the door with thickly wrapped chains on the handles. There was a millisecond of silence before Charlotte cursed and kicked the door...Hard. Loud clunking sounds erupted from the door. Caused by the chains and the 2 metal double doors. Percy groaned.
"No no no, Why would yo-" Percy was cut off by a door shutting, followed by a
"Hello?" That came from the hallway next to them. Followed by footsteps. Percy held his finger to his lips in an effort to silence her. He looked around frantically for a place to hide, But the truth was...There was nowhere...except a small closet. Percy snuck a awkward glance at Charlotte. Before he could ask, his hands were taken and he was yanked into the small, but big enough closet. He gulped and shimmied back a bit. Silence hung over the 2. Percy gulped. He decided to break it
"Hey do you..." he was stopped by a leather incased finger to the mouth. Percy, got a tiny bit excited as he thought this was the moment where the girl shushes the guy and begins to make out with him. Unfortunately, she was just checking the outside of the closet through the tiny windows. Showing admirable stealth. Percy winced and slid back. After a few seconds of delay, Charlotte gives Percy a thumbs up and the quietly made their way out of the closet.
"You have to be more careful" Percy whispered. Charlotte gave a guilty nod.
"How are we gonna get in?" She asked after. Percy scrunched his face up. After a long 3 seconds Percy whipped out his daggers causing Charlotte to almost squeal before clamping her hand on her mouth. Percy held his finger to his lips before sticking them in between the cogs in the lock and shimmied them around. After 2 failed attempts Percy furiously attempted to do it again, and failed. He sighed and pushed them in deeper before shimming them again. The lock snapped off and Percy caught it before it reached the ground. He opened the door just enough for Charlotte to slide in, but not for the chains to unravel. He slid in himself and snapped on the lock to make it look the same. Percy pulled out his Walkie Talkie and sent a quick message to Jared and Ava, telling them that a teacher might be loose
Meanwhile
Jared and Ava strolled down the halls nervously, looking for the Teachers Lounge.
"I think its near the Principals dorm." Ava whispered. They were silenced by a static on Jared's Walkie-Talkie
"Turn that off." Ava hissed. Jared tore the Walkie from his pocket, before fumbling with it. He held it at his ear for a few seconds before looking at Ava.
"We might need to redirect." He said. Ava gave him a confused look
"There's a teacher in the halls." Jared said after repeating the message to her. Ava groaned and muttered something under her breath. Jared stuffed his walkie-talkie in his pocket looked at Ava
"Where's the principals room?" He asked

Jared crouched down even more and glanced again.
"What do we do?" He asked looking at the faint light illuminating the darkness from the principals office. They were at the corner onlooking the lounge which was unfortunately next to the office in a way where they had to pass it before they got to it. Ava sighed and dug her hands in her hair
"We cant make any noise, or we're caught, we cant walk to close to the door either" she whispered back. Jared sighed and began to slowly walk, He leapt back when the Principals door opened. He scrambled from his crouched position, glanced back and nearly flung Ava up as he sprinted away and cut towards another direction. He put his hand over his mouth in a way to silence his own breathing. Jared and Ava quietly watched as the Principal strolled through the darkness, quickly walking past Jared and Ava. Jared let out a sigh, then waited a few more seconds, before jogging towards the faculty room. As expected, the door was locked, but Ava pulled out a bobby pin, and picked he lock. Both slipping in unnoticed.

Jared dug around another box, cursing when he found books.
"I know that they have it somewhere." He muttered. Ava grunted and dug in the fridge to unfortunately, find nothing. The 2 of them has been searching for about ten minutes to only find stale bagels and school supplies. Jared was about to look in the trash can, but was stopped by Ava.
"Give me a boost." She said thoughtfully.
"What-"
"Give me a boost." She repeated. Jared gave her a strange look.
"What do you mean..." Jared said.
"Lift me up dumbass!" She said.
"Ohhhh" Jared said. Following Ava's eyes. Ava rolled her eyes. She walked up to the counter, and Jared followed, He put his hand on the ground, and Ava stepped on it. Jared winced from the weight and heaved her upwards. After a few seconds
"JACKPOT" was the noise that came from her mouth. After a few minutes and some rustling, Ava pulled down a large pack of sour patch and a box of donuts. Jared raised an eyebrow.
"Hurry" Ava said.
"Lets go" Jared held up a finger and puled out his walkie-talkie, as it vibrated for the second time that night.
"Uhhh, Percy confirmed that the Café is where they store their food." Jared said. Ava shrugged and said
"Ok...uh just help me carry these. Jared grabbed the donuts, before looking out the small square window to ensure that the principal was not around, and opened the door to jog out.

"You let me save you? Me?" Charlotte teased. Percy sucked his teeth.
"I get it" He said. Charlotte laughed.
"I'll never let you forget this" Charlotte said. Percy smiled wistfully, before speaking up.
"All the food I'd in their back kitchen...right?" He asked. Charlotte nodded and leaned back. They were both waiting for Jared and Ava to come to the relatively large café. Percy instantly shot up when static came from his walkie talkie. He grabbed it and held it to his ear. After a few seconds he jogged to the door and pulled it open. Ava and Jared squeezed in and stretched their way through the small area in the door. After they got in Ava stood expectantly.
"Now what?" She asked folding her arms.
"Well now we go to the main things." Jared said rubbing his hands together. Ava shrugged and looked at Percy.
"Where to next." Percy thought for a moment before saying
"Follow me" And walking to the back room of the café. He walked up to the bar where the food was stored and leaped over it. He beckoned the rest to and they followed. After picking the lock to the back, Percy entered and found a room with all assortments of food. He stood in front of his findings proudly. Ava and Jared strolled past him. Charlotte followed them, ensuring to send a mean right hook to the side of Percy. Who slightly keeled over. The Back room had all types of crepes, Bread, muffins, rainbow bagels and turnovers.
"Damn" Percy whispered.
"They are bougie" He said. They went to the second desk and pulled it open, while Jared grabbed any snacks he could find. Percy rummaged through a drawer and pulled out his book. There was a pause before Percy gasped and pulled out a silver office pen.
"YES!" He exclaimed pumping his fist into the air. Ava snickered
"Its a pen." Ava said. Which drew chuckles from the 2. Percy, froze. There was a moment of silence before he stuffed the pen in his pocket and stepped aside for Ava and Charlotte to get what they wanted. After some shuffling they got what they Ava pulled out a switchblade and Charlotte pulled out her journal. Percy sighed and said.
"Lets make our way out."

The group of 4 casually resided in Jared's and Percy's room eating the horded snacks and hanging out.
"Why is that book important to you?" Ava asked
"Nerd" She added. Percy gave her a look.
"Didn't you do that for a switchblade?" Percy said.
"Wait, why do you have a switchblade?" Percy asked. Jared Chuckled and bit into a donut. Charlotte sighed and flopped down onto
the carpet floor.
"Im sooo tired" She moaned yawning.
"Yeah I don't want to go back out" Ava said stretching.
"You could sleep with us" Jared said and instantly received a kick from Percy.
"That won't be too bad...I can't sleep on this bodysuit though" Charlotte said pulling the tight fitting leather suit.
"I'm gonna have to take it off" she murmured. Percy momentarily spazzed out, before regaining his composure.
"I-Its cool" He said in a distorted and squeaky voice. Ava cleared her throat and Percy shot her a look. Jared sipped his kool-aid quietly as Charlotte flopped down.
"Should we sleep now?" She asked, yawning. Percy nodded a little too quickly, while Jared and Ava shrugged. Charlotte watched these reactions before yawning and saying
"Alright, Let's sleep-" she was instantly was cut off from the noise from the door. All the attention was directly averted to the door as it burst open. A tall figure stood over them, Silence hung over the air. As the Principal and Mr. Willis stood in the doorway.

How y'all doin. This was a bit of a filler chapter but I will get way deeper into the story soooon don't worry. Things should start spicing up next chapter. I promise this isn't the length either. Right now i'm at about 2300 words which is a bit above last chapter. I know, a bit short, but I'll try to make my way around 3000-4000 words
