Chapter 19

"Azula." that is all that Ursa could say.

Ursa was in deep shock to see her daughter here facing her after her love secret between herself and Sokka was revealed by Suki. Azula looked at her mother with an ashamed facial expression on her face. The look was not for Ursa but for Azula herself. During the boat ride to Ember Island, Azula has come to realize her mistake of denying her mother to gain love even though her lover is not in her age group.

"Mother, I'm sorry." Azula lowered her head down. "I'm so sorry for judging you for loving someone that is in my age group. I have to realize that you have gone through a lot over the years, and have been treated like a sorry dog by my father and not be treated like a woman much less a wife. I should have been more supportive when learning that you and Sokka were lovers. Sokka makes you happy than you ever were."

Azula looked up at Ursa and smiled. "If you are happy mom, then I am happy too. But my ass is not calling Sokka, my new daddy."

Ursa could not help to let tears run down her face after hearing what Azula just said to her. One of her children was accepting and supported her love choice of what type of men she wanted to be and laid with. She approached Azula and pulled her into a strong hug while letting her tears run down freely.

"Oh, Azula." Ursa rubbed her face against the side of Azula's head. "I'm so glad that you finally accept my choice of what man I wanted to love and be with. I miss you so much."

"I miss you more, Mother," said Azula, pulling back to face her with a big smile.

The two looked at each other with pure happiness as mother and daughter. Something that Ursa thought that she will never be going to get it again for the third time around. After done looking at each other the two went inside to have some fresh tea and white frosting white cake. The two catch up on things as Ursa explained to Azula that she and Sokka adopted a new son which excited the legendary prodigy. Azula informed her mother that she and Zack were planning on pushing their relationship a little bit further which Ursa hoped that they would tie the not.

"So Aang has not proposed to Toph yet?. What is up with that?." Azula asked before taking a bite of her cake.

Ursa poured another round of tea into her clap cup. "No idea. I'm surprised that Toph has not asked Aang why he has yet to finally settle down with her. From what Toph has told me, Aang has been meditating for some time. She does not know who Aang is talking to."

"Well, shit that is crazy," said Azula, sipping her tea.

Ursa nodded before drinking her tea. "I just hope that those two will eventually get married. Being girlfriend and boyfriend is fun and all but it will get boring and stale."

Azula slowly nodded her head in absolute understanding. "Yes, you are quite right, Mother. It can be boring and not go to the next phase of the relationship."

The two continued talking up till the full moon had shown up in the night sky. Azula felt tired after she unload her clothes in her bedroom and called it a night. Ursa stayed up the night and waited for Zack to come and assume that he is with her husband and son. As right on schedule, the boys came on inside both tired and smelly after being done playing kickball. Sokka had a sleeping David in his arms while Zack had the green ball in his hands. Ursa removed her glasses after reading a biography.

"Hey, honey," said Sokka, greeting his wife before taking their son to his bed.

"Hi," answered Ursa, before closing her book and watching Zack come in.

Zack had a pair of blue shorts with a sleeveless shirt and a pair of sandals. He took a seat on the couch and smiled at Ursa. Happy to see her in person again.

"Hi, Mrs. Ursa." Zack notices the book in her lap. "Hey what are you reading?."

Ursa picked up the book and spoke with excitement. "It's a biography of Avatar Kyoshi. I'm reading the part where she says that she has a secret husband and two sons and explained that she kelp them hidden in order to keep them safe. Which is very understandable based on her occupation. That and she finally revealed her husband and two sons, after people both assumed and claimed that she is a bisexual or a flat-out lesbian."

"Seriously?." Zack looked with an interest at the former living Avatar.

Ursa nodded. "Yes, I know right?. In this book, Kyoshi was downright furious about the allegations against her and told the public that she is straight as a ship. That, and Kyoshi says that for the record, being bisexual and lesbian or other relations besides only between a man and a woman is downright and utterly wrong and sinful. She also says that people need to repent or regret it at the end of their life."

"Hey, that is absolutely right. Kyoshi is well known for keeping the faith and obeying God's holy words and holy law," said Zack.

"Yelp. She is well respected back then and now. I hope Aang follows her example." said Ursa, before setting her book on the coffee table.

"Knowing Aang he will. Let alone preach the good word," said Zack.

Ursa nodded before discussing Zack about marrying her daughter. She encouraged Zack to go with Sokka and go ring or necklace shopping and plan where to propose. Zack took in what Ursa just said as she is indeed right about the whole situation. The two said goodnight to one another before heading to bed and sleeping. Ursa smiled in her sleep as she is happy to have her daughter back into her life. And now she just needs to have Zuko and Katara to just come around to the idea of her and Sokka being together and supporting them. Of course, she can not get her hopes up too high but would not mind hoping at least.
