THE STARTING OF A NEW ERA

(Three Days Later)

Jiriya was approaching the highest end casino in Tanzakugai. While stretching out with his senses, and he was grateful that he could feel Tsunade. He swallows and starts to walk faster. He enters the casino, and heads towards the poker tables. As he approaches, he can hear some cheering. He looks at the center table to see Tsunade looking happy with a decent amount of chips piled beside her. Jiriya goes paler as he sees her pulling more chips towards herself. He gulps twice, "Tsu. Tsunade, we need to talk." says Jiriya as he walks up to her pale as a ghost. Tsunade looks at Jiriya with a glare, "TCH. What do you want Jiriya. I've had a semi bad feeling the last four days, but I'm doing extremely well at this time. Leave me alone and go back to your RESEARCH." Jiriya unsealed the scroll Heirizen gave him and held it out to Tsunade. Tsunade went pale as she looked at the scroll and swallowed. "W. W. W. Where did you get this Jiriya." Tsunade asked a look of dread in her eyes. Jiriya took a drink from a passing bus boy, and chuged it down while reaching for another one.

Jiriya chuged the second one, and looked at Tsunade while he trembled. "I got that scroll from Sensei. But what has me so scared is who he got it from. If you sense the chakra from the scroll, you will have your answer." Tsunade gulped as she reached out with her senses and went whiter than Jiriya after Tsunade caught, him peeping on her in the hot springs. "Th. Th. Th. Th. Thi is impossible! I was there when she died! What sick joke is this! " Jiriya looked at her with a sad expression. "It is no joke Tsu' Hime. Sensei gave that to me three days ago. After Mito' Sama gave it to him with a request for us to meet up with her AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!" With that said that comes to a total of four days. We need to get back NOW!" Tsunade bit her thumb and put blood on both seals. With a pulse of chakra that Tsunade knew from her childhood. The scroll unsealed and Tsunade unrolled it and swallowed as she recognized the handwriting.

'My little Tsuntsune. I am very disappointed in you for abandoning Minato's and Kushina's son to the village. I do not know what happened to you after my death, but I am going to put you through the Uzumaki Disciplinary Measure's 1-6. I may take it all the way to level 12 if you do not have a good reason for leavening Naruto here alone.' An aura of black flames surrounded Tsunade as she narrowed her eyes. "I was told that Naruto was dead! Koharu when I get my hands on you!" Tsunade looked back at the scroll as Jiriya back away and curled into a ball. 'Tsunade, Naruto has been through torture that even the T&I Divisions would hesitate to use on their most hated enemies! Had he not fallen through the Namikaze Uzumaki Compound gates he would have died. When you arrive with Jiriya Heirizen will bring you both to me. AND WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A VERY LONG TALK BETWEEN THE THREE OF US! You had better hurry and get back. The moment you undid the chakra-blood seal my chakra pulsed. So I know you have opened and read this scroll. I am back in my twenties so my temper is far stronger than you remember, but I know Tobirama told you about my temper from the old days. Shizune was looking at Tsunade as Tonton was shivering. The aura and emotions Tsunade was giving off had them both scared. Tsunade looked at Shizune "Shizune get all our stuff together as fast as possible! We need to get to Konoha as fast as possible! We are a YEAR LATE FOR A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING!" "Hai Tsunade' Sama" Shouted Shizune as she ran to their rooms. Tsunade and Jiriya headed towards the doors. She was stopped by the Floor Manager. "Tsunade' Sama what so you want us to do with your winnings?" Tsunade looked at him and sighed. "Use my winnings to pay off all of my depts. With the amount I have won over the last two days. It is just enough to pay them all off." She looked at the floor and grumbled about how her luck was only good when she was going to be in deep $#it.

15 minutes later Shizune came running out of the casino. With a large backpack on her back panting, "Tsunade' Sama H. H. Here we are Tsunade' Sama." Tsunade looked at Jiriya, "Let's go Jiriya! If we keep Baa'chan waiting she is going to kill us, resurrect us, kill us again, and then resurrect us and torture us until we are so broke. That even though we are human we will look like puddles with eyes." They all ran out of the city and Jiriya summoned the flying toad from before. They all jumped on to his back and Jiriya said, "Gamafubamei, Get us back to Konoha faster than you got us here! If you don't me and Tsunade will be killed by Mito' Sama!" The blue and green toad looked at Jiriya in complete shock. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MITO WILL KILL YOU?! SHE'S BEEN DEAN FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS!" Shouted the Toad as he took off actually breaking the sound barrier. "Hehe, Well she use the Uzumaki Core System to come back and she is very pissed at us. Soooooooo..." The toad looked at him in complete fear, "You had better tell Fukasaku' Sama and find your replacement summoner. Because if this is the real Mito you are so dead." The toad put out more chakra and increased his speed Tsunade used her chakra to hold herself in place while bending over Shizune and Tonton to hold them in place on the flying toad. Shizune and Tonton were screaming at the speed they were traveling through the sky.

Back in Konoha. Heirizen was once again heading to the T & I Division to question Hibiki and his people, because of the amount of them that seemed to be under Seals and the Sharingan. Heirizen was very pissed. It seemed that every clan had people who have been or were involved with the attacks on Naruto. Heirizen growled as he walked through the building. Many shinobi bowed to the Hokage as he walked past them. Heirizen opened a door and walked to the glass on the wall. Inside the room Guardian was drawing a seal on Mebuki Haruno to try and free her from the control of a someone else. Six shinobi had died from others trying to undue the seals on them. If Mito had not sent Guardian and Naruto to see him a few days ago they may have not made any progress in undoing these control seals. Heirizen looked at the work that Guardian was doing. 'What have we lost with the death of the Uzumaki Clan. He far surpasses anyone here in Konoha. I doubt even Jiriya could match this man's skill with seals.' Thought Heirizen as he watched as Guardian pushed chakra through the seals.

Mebuki screamed as the seals Guardian applied glowed blue, while the ones binding Mebuki glowed red. The red seals began to break apart and go up as if they were made of ash. When the light disappeared Mebuki was breathing heavily while sweating. She then started to cry. "Kushina, I am so sorry. Please forgive me." Heirizen look on as Guardian turned towards the door. And walked out of the room. Hibiki walked into the room and looked at her while prepping his tools. Hibiki walked up next to the restrained woman. "Now former Council member Mebuki Haruno, I am going to ask you questions, and the truth seal placed on your forehead will ensure that you tell the full truth." Mebuki looked at Hibiki with eyes filled with sorrow. I will tell you everything just make sure the Hokage is here to hear it. Because when that one-eyed bastard finds out you've found a way to counter his seals. He will begin to murder anyone he could not bribe." Heirizen pressed a button beside the window. " I am right here Mrs. Haruno. Tell us all you know." Mebuki told how after the Kiyuubi attack Danzo worked with the other senior adviser's and the civilian council to try and take control of the village. And that those he could not bribe or threaten he killed, or used a stollen Sharingan to take control of them and place enslavement seals on them. Most of the former civilian council worked with him willingly because Danzo promised them the Namikaze Clan's wealth and properties.

Mebuki tried to stop them and inform the Hokage about Danzo's doing, but she was betrayed by one of her friends who lost their family to the Kiyuubi's attack. She told Heirizen of the meeting's that Danzo held with the Senior Council members and the Civilian Council members and how they planned to send Naruto through any means to Danzo. Between the seals placed on her and the effect of the Sharingan that Danzo had in his right eye. It made you do whatever Danzo commanded of you. No matter how you felt about it. Mebuki told how she had to watch as if watching everything through a fog, and no matter what she had tried she could not get control back. Heirizen was grinding his teeth as he listened to everything Mebuki told them. And gave Heirizen some of the Anbu under Danzo's control. "Inu I want you to capture these Anbu by any means necessary. Use these seals that were provided by Guardian to immobilize and seal the chakra of those it is used upon. But know these can only be used once. When they are removed or canceled the seal will go up in flames." Inu takes the seals and bow's "Hai Hokage' Sama! May I take Neko and Crow with me?" Heirizen nods, "Go ahead. They like you have a bone to pick with Danzo and his Root. But we have a lot more trash to take out. Go now!" Inu bowed again and shunshined out of the room.

Hibiki unbound Mebuki and returned her clothes. Heirizen came into the room and helped Mebuki into the observation room. "Mebuki you are going to be under my and Hibiki's protection. Once Jiriya and Tsunade have returned we are going to be purging Danzo's Root, and you've gave us a key to finding his bases. But I am going to give you a warning. Minato and Kushina will be coming back." Mebuki looked at Heirizen like he was insane. "That's not possible! Minato used their souls to bind the Kiyuubi into Naruto!" Heirizen laughed, "The Uzumaki have many techniques with their seals, and are tied to the Shinigami in ways no one can understand." Mebuki broke down in tears again, "She's going to be back. I hope she will forgive me for breaking our promise. But I wonder how well Tsume is taking this. Although it's Danzo and his lackies who prevented us from fulfilling our promises. And I wonder what she is going to do about the arranged marriage between her second daughter and Naruto." Heirizen swallowed, "To be honest I do not want to be in the middle of that." Mebuki laughed, "I am worried what they will do to us and Konoha. Kushina's temper is one thing, but combine that with Minato and we could be in great danger." Heirizen swallowed and went pale, "Those two are bad enough, but are nothing compared to who is training Naruto right now." Mebuki looked at Heirizen and went paler, "You are joking right?" Mebuki asked. Heirizen shook his head. "No, I am not. She is the one who made Konoha, and her enemies fear the Uzumaki Clan and their extreme tempers." Mebuki swallowed again, "Dear Kami, Please spare us from the enraged Uzumaki's! Both Mebuki and Heirizen put their hands together and looked up towards the ceiling as they felt a cold chill run down their backs.
