Later, the two humans were revealed to have the brain wave needed to pilot two new drones codenamed Chromia and Perceptor. John asked the two if they would join the fight against the Decepticons. The two agreed as they were friends with Nagisa and the others. John then asked for their names: Manami Okuda and Kotaro Takebayashi.
The following week was quiet for Decepticon Activity. Manami was getting used to her new drone body. She could Transform into a Light blue 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. Karma took Manami under his wing as he was ordered to by John. The two then began to get close. John smiled when he heard Wheeljack shout, "YES! TELATRANN-ONE IS BACK!" John smiled and said, "Good to hear that Wheeljack." Wheeljack nodded and then Teletraan-1 said, "Systems, Operational. Warning, Orion Prime and several other Autobots, offline." Wheeljack then went on to explain things to Teletraan-1. Teletraan-1 then said, "Acknowledged. Optimus Prime, Teletraan-1 reporting for duty." John smiled and said, "thank you Teletraan-1, scan for any con signals."
"Scanning…" replied Teletraan-1. Teletraan-1 then said, "Decepticon signatures detected, Washington D.C." John was shocked before he composed himself and said, "Karma, Nagisa, Yuma, Tomohito, Toka. Drone up! Silverbolt, get the Aerialbots ready." Silverbolt nodded as the humans John mentioned got to their drones as John told Karasuma, "Contact the president, tell him what's happening." Karasuma nodded his head. John then got in his seat and took control of his drone. Optimus stood up and said, "Agent Karasuma, open the ground bridge." Karasuma nodded and the agents opened a ground bridge.
"Autobots, transform and roll out!" Said Optimus after transforming into his vehicle mode and rolling through the ground bridge and was followed by everyone. Meanwhile, Megatron was walking around when his most loyal sub commander, Soundwave, walked up to him and said, "My Lord, the Constructicons have been located." Megatron smiled and said, "Excellent, go to them and bring them back." Soundwave nodded his head and walked off. Back in D.C, Optimus rolled with Ironhide, Bumblebee, Inferno, Sideswipe, and Elita-1 rolled to where the Decepticon signals were as Silverbolt and the Aerial bots flew across the skies to get there. Transforming, Optimus saw six robots standing still with humans looking over them and asked Teletraan-1, "Teletraan-1, where are the Decepticon located?"
"Decepticon signals located 20 meters ahead of you," replied Teletraan-1. Optimus nodded and called for Agent Karasuma to come through a ground bridge. When he did, Agent Karasuma and Optimus walked up to the men and robots. When the men inspecting the robots looked at them, Agent Karasuma said, "Agent Karasuma, we have reason to believe these robots are aliens." But the bald man said, "Nonsense, we built these robots with parts of destroyed robots in a ship we found in the desert, these are Holder Co's new builder robots. We're getting them set up for tomorrow." Optimus walked in front of one and looked into its Optics. He could put his finger on it, but he was getting a bad feeling from the bots.
"Agent Karasuma, let's go," Optimus said. Agent Karasuma nodded his head and walked off with him. Optimus then transformed and opened his cab door before saying, "Get in." When Karasuma got in, Prime switched to his internal speaker and he said, "I have a feeling those bots are Decepticons." Karasuma looked at the steering wheel and asked, "Are you positive about that?" Optimus replied, "Yes, I am sure about this Karasuma. Their Optics gave it away, I could just sense the evil from them."
Later, the people from Holder Co. were showing the robots off when Soundwave rolled up and using little drones, reactivated the Constructicons. The Robot that could transform into a Caterpillar CAT 966C wheeled payloader stretched and said, "Man it's been too long in Stasis." The humans were confused as the man in charge tried to shut the Robot down before getting stepped on by the first one. Soon the others came online and Soundwave transformed. The humans ran as Soundwave walked up to the robots and said, "Welcome back, Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, mixmaster, Hook, Long Haul." The robots that Soundwave spoke to walked up to him and the one he called Mixermaster, who could transform into a Volvo F12 mixer truck said, "Soundwave, what happened to us?"
"You were in stasis and humans wanted to mark you off as their creations," Soundwave told the recently awakened Decepticons. Hook smiled and used his hook to snatch a human to bring him into his grasp and said, "You think you can use Decepticons as robots think again, you puny human." He then crushed the human in his hand. That was when Soundwave said, "Constructicons, combine into Devastator." Scrapper and Mixmaster turned into legs, the left leg for Mixmaster and the right leg for Scrapper. Long haul got on them and Hook got on him. Then Bone crusher and Scavenger attached to Hook formed the arms as the head popped up and together formed Devastator.
Soon Optimus came in and pulled Devastator down by his head. Devastator slowly got up as the other Autobots came to attack Devastator and Soundwave. Soundwave blasted at Bumblebee before saying, "Devastator, retreat, return to base." Devastator nodded and the Decepticons flew away. Afterward, Optimus looked at the lost lives that were caused by their ignorance. Back at the base, John was looking out at the stars as Toka sat next to him. She rubbed his back and said, "You okay?" Sighing, John said, "No, there were people killed before that battle. We should have acted sooner." Toka leaned on his shoulder and said, "I know John, it shows you care for humans." John smiled and held her close, he soon realized he was developing feelings for her. Meanwhile, Teletraan-1 told Wheejack, "Detecting a Cybertronian Pod entering the Atmosphere, landing location is in Siberia." Wheeljack told John, who had Toka, Karma, and Nagisa Drone up as he had Ratchet and Karasuma open a ground bridge to the location as he got into his drone too. They then rolled out to Siberia through the ground bridge.
In Siberia, Optimus and the other Autobots walked past some broken trees. Elita-one said, "It came through here." That was when Ironhide said, "Over here." Optimus and the others joined Ironhide and they saw a metallic object on the ground. Upon arriving at the pod, Elita-one said, "It's a Con pod." Optimus was about to speak when Decepticons began to open fire on them. They returned fire and tried to get the advantage, but were pinned. Soon another Bot came out of the woods and Elita-one said, "INCOMING!" but the bot said, "DOWN IN FRONT!" The new bot then jumped over the team and began to blast the cons. Mirage joined them and said, "That's Smokescreen, he's an Autobot." Prime nodded and saw how reckless Smokescreen was being. Soon a shot from Smokescreen struck leaking Energon and started a fire.
"GET CLEAR AUTOBOTS!" Shouted Optimus. Right after they moved the pod exploded and the Decepticons retreated. Smokescreen shouted, "COWARD CONS!" Prime walked up to Smokescreen and said, "Greetings trooper." Smoke Screen looked at Optimus and said, "Smokescreen reporting for duty sir." Iron Hide walked up to them and said, "That had to be some of the most reckless stunts I ever saw, kid." Smokescreen looked at Ironhide and said, "Hey it got the cons to flee, Mirage my man!" Mirage shook Smokescreen's hand and said, "Smokescreen, you need to keep it cool on earth."
"Agent Karasuma, open the ground Bridge," Optimus said and soon a ground bridge opened up to allow the Autobots to walk in. Back at the base, Smokescreen saw Optimus, Elita-one, Ironhide, and Bumblebee lay on slabs and humans come off their seats and get on the catwalk. John was the first to say, "Well Smokescreen, you need a vehicle form if you are to help us in our fight against the Decepticons." Smokescreen was confused until Mirage told him about the drones and who the drones were piloted by, namely John controlling the Optimus Prime Drone. Smokescreen was speechless but he said, "Ok, so we're fighting alongside humans, ok then." John smiled as he had a Datsun 280ZX Turbo pull-up for Smokescreen to scan it for his vehicle mode. (A.N: Yes it's the vehicle form for Generation 1 Smokescreen but he has the personality of Prime Smokescreen. Don't like it? Stop reading then.)
Later, John asked Toka to go to the movies and she said yes. Nagisa and Kayano smiled as they saw the two get along well. Meanwhile, Silverbolt was approached by the other Aerialbots and he asked them, "what's the matter?" The first to speak was Skydive and he was beginning to have doubts about John leading the Autobots. SIlverbolt said that John and the humans controlling drones had earned his respect. Then Slingshot said, "Yeah but what about Magnus? He's an ACTUAL Cybertronian. Not to mention that he should be the prime, not John."
"What's gotten into you guys? John has shown to be capable of leading the Autobots." Silverbolt said to his team. Slingshot then said, "If he was leading, why does the government watch them? Also seems odd that they are monitoring their systems." Silverbolt said that it was so they could monitor them and make sure no one dies, but his team didn't buy that, so they took off. Silverbolt sighed as he knew this would complicate matters. Meanwhile, Karasuma sat in a room with three of his superiors as one asked how Project: Autobot was progressing and he said, "Well sir. But I think humans are working for Megatron." Then another Superior asked, "What about those in Project: Autobot? Do they know the truth?"
"I don't believe so, General. Though I still think the chips were a bad Idea." Replied Terasaka, but the General responded with, "I know Karasuma, but it's the only way they will listen to us. We have to keep the chips in their necks as long as these Decepticons pose a threat." That was when the third person said, "In your last report you mentioned a new leader to the Autobots, a one called Ultra Magnus. Will he pose a problem to the unity of our alliance?" Karasuma looked at the man and said, "I do not know Mr. Yanagisawa, there were those who were with him when he came and I'm having people watching him and his every move."
"Onto the next main thing, how many more aliens are living amongst us?" First, it was those jets, then it was three trains, what's next? A battleship?!" Said the General in an angry tone. Karasuma sat there until the meeting was over and was greeted by Sone. The Two then walked out as Kotaro Yanagisawa watched them, and on his open Laptop was a file labeled Project: Shockwave.
