Bulma woke up and walked to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. However, she stopped to check on the kids first:
Chihiro was clinging to Goten while Corrion lay sideways with his legs somehow over both Chihiro and Goten.
Bulla and Leriac were stretched all over the place with their arms over each other's faces.
Trunks was on his back with Skya… Skya wasn't there.
"Have you seen Skya?" Bulma questioned Piccolo.
"She didn't come back yet?" Piccolo questioned, looking out the sliding glass doors.
"She's not over there. Where'd she go?" Bulma questioned.
"Last I saw her—half an hour ago—she was running to the bathroom.
"With what we learned last night; I didn't just want to go in there. Yes, I knocked. I told her to knock once if she needed help, or twice for no; she knocked twice." Piccolo answered, watching Bulma.
Knock. Knock.
"Skya, are you ok in there?" Bulma asked after knocking on the bathroom door.
… … … … … … … …
No answer of any sort.
"Skya, it's Bulma; I'm coming in." Bulma informed Skya before opening the door. She was met with shock and sorrow:
Skya was curled in a ball, sleeping on the floor in front of the toilet. She was lying with her forehead directly against the bottom of the toilet.
"You poor thing." Bulma sadly sighed after noticing she threw up everything she had eaten last night.
"Well, you don't have a fever. Must be all the stress." Bulma noted, kneeling next to Skya, and felt her forehead.
"What are you going on about?" Vegeta questioned; he had just finished in the training room.
"Skya threw up the contents of her stomach from last night. Her forehead's not warm, so I don't think she has a fever; I think it's just all the stress from everything. But she must not have had the energy, and just fell asleep next to the toilet. Can you please flush the toilet while I take her back to her spot with the others? Thank you." Bulma answered Vegeta, lifting Skya into her arms. Once she had Skya situated, Bulma told Vegeta to flush the toilet as she walked past him to the living room.
"What's going on?" Trunks questioned, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"Shhh… Do you need to use the bathroom?" Bulma questioned, walking over.
"No, I went an hour or so ago. What happened to Skya?" Trunks answered before asking in panic mode.
"Shhh… Relax. Skya's fine. Well, she's not, but she will be. She's just overly stressed and ended up throwing up and falling asleep by the toilet. Just go back to sleep; I'll start making breakfast in half an hour or so. Trunks, calm down. Skya's right here; she's alive and safe. And we will make sure she stays that way. Ok?" Bulma calmly yet sternly told Trunks, placing Skya next to him; she then covered her with a blanket.
"Mmmm…" Skya moaned in fear after a clash of thunder was heard.
"I honestly don't want to know what that man did to her. However, I would like to know why other than he could just because he wanted her. How someone could hurt an innocent child is beyond me." Bulma sighed, tucking some hair behind Skya's ear.
"I don't care what he did or why he did it; he's never going to do it ever again. I won't let him." Trunks determinedly replied, holding Skya's hand.
"I know you won't. Neither will your father and the others. Go back to sleep." Bulma told Trunks, kissing him on the forehead. She also kissed Skya and Bulla's foreheads before covering each child with blankets.
"That poor child." Bulma sadly sighed, watching Trunks pull Skya into his arms after she clutched his shirt in her sleep.
"Are we just going to put them in the same room?" Vegeta questioned, watching his wife.
"No. He's twelve and she's eight." "You heard what Halley said. We might as well place them in the same room now." Vegeta interrupted his wife.
"I understand that. And I know they're not going to do anything inappropriate. But I know for a fact that if we allow them to share a room, Bulla will have a cow, saying it's not fair. And it isn't fair. If we'd put anyone in the same room, it'd be Bulla and Skya." Bulma firmly told her husband.
"I don't wanna share a room with Trunks's mate." Bulla stated in a bratty tone, walking into the kitchen.
"We don't always get what we want, now do we? Why are you up? I thought you were asleep. Your father and I discussing room arrangements." Bulma told Bulla, narrowing her eyes.
"I'm up; I can't sleep any more. I'm just going to MY room, so I don't wake the others. As for Skya's room: you might as well just place her with Trunks. I mean, why not? That Halley already stated that they should be in the same room anyway. Might as well do it right away and get it over with." Bulla answered and responded to the room arrangements in a tone neither Bulma nor Vegeta liked.
"Piccolo?" Bulma spoke with Piccolo.
"Yeah?" Piccolo asked, crossing his arms.
"In a few days, when the weather clears, I plan on taking Skya and Trunks shopping for things she may need. Could you quite possibly watch Bulla for a few hours while I take them to the Wally-World or the mall?" Bulma requested.
"What?! Why?!" Bulla screeched, nearly having a panic attack.
"Why does she always have to push? Doesn't she realize that's not going to get her anywhere—or anything she wants?" Leriac muttered, watching Trunks.
"No, not really. Or rather, not in the past year or two—since she started going to public school. I think some of the friends she's made, aren't very good influences." Trunks replied, watching Skya.
"I told you: I don't reward bad behavior. Skya is Trunks's mate. She's lost, scared, and alone in a place she she's never been to before—on a planet she's never been to. These are big changes she has to face. I would love to say she has Nova for help because they were in this same situation a year or two ago. But she doesn't because Nova's not the nicest toward Skya. And you have been anything but welcoming to Skya. Like it or not, she's your sister because she is Trunks's mate. Your father knew Skya's mother and promised her she'd take care of any child she may have. I'm sure she promised to take care of you and Trunks if anything had ever happened to your father or me. I will not allow her to live with some people she knows nothing about—people who can't tell her stories about her mother, Venus, the Moon, or anything like that. At least with us, she has someone who can tell her about her mother. Here, she has a few people who understand what she's going through. Your father had to acclimate to Earth and our customs. So, like it or not; she's staying here with us. Your behavior and treatment toward Skya is why you're not going shopping with us. I gave you plenty of chances to being able to go shopping. I gave you plenty of warnings. And if I remember correctly: l specifically told you last night, that was your final warning. End of discussion." Bulma strictly informed her daughter.
"How do we know Trunks and Skya aren't entering an incestuous relationship? I love Daddy very much, but he is probably only taking Skya in because she's his. He loved Stella and still does; he will never stop loving her!" Bulla snapped.
"While mates can be siblings; that's rare. And Trunks and Skya aren't siblings of any sort. Did I love Stella? Yes, I did. I loved her very much when we were much, much younger. Did we have ever have sex? Yes, we did. But that was way before I ever met your mother. Yes, your mother knows; I told her last night when she asked. I'm not going to lie to your mother. I hadn't met the love of my life yet—not until I tried taking over Earth years before Trunks was even born. Stella knew Chi-Tsuki was her one true love, but she couldn't get to him or see him for whatever bullshit reason until I'm guessing several years ago before Skya was born. Stella and I were what your mother calls "friends with benefits." Stella and I agreed that would be like that until I met who I was meant to be with—your mother. It may have taken me longer to admit that I loved your mother and Trunks than your mother or Stella wanted it to. But I do love Bulma more than I've ever loved anyone before—including Stella. And like I said yesterday, I hadn't seen Stella in years. Biologically, Skya is not mine. But she is my responsibility now. So, don't even go there." Vegeta firmly told Bulla, having enough.
"Ok. Let me up. Let me up." "Skya," demanded, pushing away from Trunks. She stood up and dusted herself off.
"It's nothing against you; you're just not my type. But you're definitely good for Skya. Now, as for all of you. I heard my name. For those of you who don't know or remember, I'm Halley, and I'm borrowing Skya for now. Bulla, right? Let me remind you that you almost didn't exist, and if you keep it up, you won't. There are certain deities that don't think I did the right thing by skipping over Stella and having Skya be my reincarnation. If shit like this continues, I won't be able to stop them from turning back time, and making Stella be my reincarnation. That will ultimately mean that your father, Vegeta, would have been meant to be with her instead. I'm trying to keep that from happening—from time being rewound. I'm trying to get this timeline locked in. I'm dead, there's a lot I can do. There's also a lot I can't do."
"Let me get the record straight. Skya is the child and product of former queen of Venus, Stella, and king of the Moon, Chi-Tsuki. Yes, he may be dead, but he's still considered king. Stella gave up her title and left Venus. She couldn't change who she was, but she could leave the title and her family behind. Yes, Skya has that option as well. Because, at the current moment, she is the princess of Venus and the Moon. She can give up those titles as well. Right now, she's too young to understand, but she can give her titles as princess of both kingdoms any time she wants. Right now, she may not want to because it connects her to her parents—in her mind anyways. She's also too young to rule, but she won't be once she turns twelve and thirteen: twelve for Venus and thirteen for the Moon. Because she's the only heir to both Venus and the Moon, once she reaches of age, guards from both kingdoms may come to collect her whether she gives up her title or not. The only way they cannot take her is if she's marked by her true mate—which is Trunks. All he has to do is tell them he's a Saiyan, and the guards should back off. If they don't, just mention that he's Vegeta's son; they'll definitely back off then."
"Speaking of Trunks and marks and mates and all that good stuff. Venarian's must be ten to be marked. Lunarians must be at least eight—seven for special occasions. Because Skya's both, technically speaking, Trunks could mark her once she turns nine. But keep in mind that it is a painful process. So when I say she can be marked by nine, I would probably wait until nine and a half. But that's just me; you do what you want. And yes, you can ask your mother and father for their opinions on the matter."
"But moving on. Bulla: I know your parents. I know they raised you to be a good person. And I know for a fact that you're a good person. However, with that said: you're acting like an entitled, spoiled brat. I also know Nova, and I know she's a brat, but you're worse than her right now. As Nova grows up, I know she'll mature and start understanding and being nicer to Skya more. You three may never be the best of friends, but you'll be able to stand being around each other without insulting each other. Skya and Nova will have the same type of relationship as Vegeta and that Goku character. As for the room situation. Yes, I said that Skya will most likely stay with Trunks for the next week or two. After that, she'll be in her own room but will most likely go to Trunks some nights. That's all a comfort thing. And for Skya, for the next few months to a year, she will need all the comfort she can get. As time goes on, she will be able to stay in her own room all night with no problems—except on nights when there are nasty thunder storms. But you know why that is. Now, when she reaches fourteen, she'll probably start sleeping with Trunks on a nightly basis. And I do mean actually sleeping. They won't have sex until she is fifteen or so. I do believe you know about the birth control spell already. Now, with all that said; that's what I've seen and know. But as so many people know, plans and the future are subject to change at any second. So, what I may tell you, may not happen. Skya living with you until she and Trunks move out way later on, is locked in; that's definite. But room situations may change, and you may keep them in a room together starting now. I honestly don't care. However, you know do you know how they can be in the same room without being in the same room?" Halley started explaining, pausing now and then for everyone to keep up and have time to process everything. It was a lot of information. She then asked Bulma, Vegeta, Trunks, and Bulla a question.
"No…" "How?" Trunks eagerly questioned, interrupting his parents and Bulla.
"He's more determined and protective now than I thought he was going to be. I knew he was going to protective and determined, but not to this extreme. Still, that's not a bad thing; it's actually great. But anyway. It will take some moving rooms around and some construction. But say you have two rooms right next to each other, and you cut out part of the wall. Once there's a hole in the wall, you make some kind of door, separating the two rooms. Or a window of sorts; they can still see each other at night. Or if you go with a window type of idea, you could place their beds on either side and it'd kind of be like they were still sleeping together. But that's all I got for that." Halley answered in detail how Trunks and Skya could share a room without sharing a room. It certainly got Bulma thinking.
"Excuse me; I need to use the bathroom." Bulla excused herself.
Once they heard the bathroom door shut, Halley spoke up again. "Oh, good. Now I can tell Bulma something without Bulla hearing."
"What does that mean?" Vegeta questioned, narrowing his eyes.
"She's not my daughter, but I did raise four—kind of. I had four daughters. But anyway—before I start tearing up. Between you and me: I would allow Bulla to go shopping with you. However, if she asks for something, you don't get it for her; you don't get her anything. But again, she's not my daughter, so I have no say. It's just a suggestion." Halley calmly told Bulma.
"What's a suggestion?" Bulla questioned, walking over.
"I was just talking to your mother about the shopping trip she's planning. But it's not my place to say anything about that. But I should be heading out here in a minute or two." Halley replied before sighing.
"Can I ask something?" Bulla asked, watching Halley.
"If it has something to do with what your mother and I were discussing, then no." Halley answered.
"No—it has nothing to do with that. I wanna know how we can get Skya to talk. How do we make her speak to us—any of us?" Bulla replied before asking.
"How do you make her talk? Well, here's the thing: you can't just make her talk. Skya not speaking is not like when you or someone else gets in trouble and doesn't want to tell your or whoever's parents what you did or why you did whatever it is you did. It's not the same. Skya is still in shock. She's still hurting and is upset. For all I or anyone knows, she may even be angry because she was left alone. She knows all about the curse because someone opened their big mouth when they weren't supposed to. Skya wasn't supposed to know anything about that because Stella broke that curse. There was no real reason for Skya to know about it, so Stella wasn't going to say anything. However, when Skya went and asked her about it, Stella had no choice but to explain it to her. Skya's just hurt, scared, confused, and in shock; she's not ready to talk yet. She may say single words, like last night when she asked to be set down. She only said "down." She will most likely often say "Mommy" or "Daddy" for some time. Skya will talk when she's ready to talk. I hope that answered your question." Halley answered Bulla.
"Crystal." Bulla replied.
"Oh, that reminds me. It's a long story that I don't have time to tell you right now, but Skya is now the holder of the Silver Moon Crystal. Vegeta knows what it is, so if you have any questions about that; ask him. Skya has it because Chi-Tsuki gave it to her just before Stella brought her to Earth. And that reminds me to tell you: Skya has been on Earth for more than a day. Stella and Skya landed on Earth—I wanna say three days ago. They ran into someone who told them he could help them. His version of help wasn't any help. He was out yesterday, so Stella used the Heart of Venus to get her and Skya out of their situation and to the beach. Well, actually, she was trying to go directly to Vegeta, but that failed—in a sense. It took them to the same area though—clearly. Skya also has the Heart of Venus as well. That's a ruby pendant that belongs to the royal family of Venus. Stella kept it for Skya because Skya will be the only one who will be able to use it—along with the Silver Moon Crystal. And unless you can get Skya to put a spell on something that makes it, so that she and someone else she trusts are the only ones who can get to the crystals, they should stay in her bag; she's the only one who is able to access her bag. Well, her and her cats."
"The last few things I will say so that everyone can hear. One: be careful who you trust. Someone among your group isn't any good and is—not so much a traitor as they are scum. You'll most likely know who it is right away. Two: Solar and Eclipse don't have to worry about any of their kittens being separated by themselves. Two will pick Skya, and one will pick Trunks. Two will pick Leriac, one picks Chihiro, and one picks Goten. All kittens will have at least one another, so they're not alone. I know that was something Solar was worried about. Three: Trunks: stop worrying so damn much; Skya trusts you. You have nothing to worry about with that. She's just scared and doesn't understand what's going on yet. Give her a little bit to let the shock wear off. She also trusts Bulma and Vegeta but is afraid of getting close for two reasons. One: she doesn't want to get close because she's afraid she'll forget about her parents. Two: she's afraid that if she does get close to you—any of you, something will happen to you as well. She's afraid that you will all die like Chi-Tsuki and Stella if she gets close to any of you. She feels it's her fault—that she did something wrong and got her parents killed. But she trusts you three. She's working on trusting Bulla, but she can tell you don't care for her. She can feel the animosity you feel toward her." Halley explained, going from some of the universe's most powerful items to random information.
"I don't hate her; I just want her here—in my home." Bulla replied, annoyed.
"Well, to her: all she sees that you don't like her—quite possibly even hate her." Halley informed Bulla.
"And yes, while this is your home; it's not just yours. Trunks, your father, and I live here as well. Plus, the house is under my name. So, what I say goes. Same with your father. Skya is here to stay." Bulma firmly told Bulla.
"What do you think Grandma and Grandpa will say?" Bulla challenged her parents.
"They're fine with it and can't wait to meet Skya. I talked to them before I came out to make breakfast. I also talked with Aunt Tights; she also can't wait to meet her." Bulma took Bulla's challenge with stride.
"I hate to interrupt you, but I have to get going. Yes, Vegeta; you can ask to see the crystal and ruby. You may also hold them if you can convince Skya to let you. If she allows you to look at and hold them, you have to give them back. She was sworn to protect them at all cost. They must always stay safe and in her possession. So, in her backpack unless you can get her to enchant something like I explained earlier. And no, they must never leave this house, so Bulla you may not ask to borrow them. And finally, be prepared to expect company today—aside from Goku, Chi-Chi, Leriac and Corrion's parents, and possibly Gohan. Expect the unexpected. Goodbye for now." Halley interrupted Bulma and Bulla before giving the last bit of information for now. She walked over to Trunks, smiled, and then left.
Once Halley left, Trunks had to be quick and catch Skya as she fell. Last night when they spoke, they were in the car, sitting down. There was no indication that Skya would collapse after Halley was gone.
"Mmmm…" Skya moaned, starting to wake up again. Trunks helped her to sit on her knees before she fell onto her butt.
After rubbing her eyes, Skya looked up at Trunks with big eyes. She turned around and saw Bulla, Bulma, and Vegeta before turning back to Trunks.
After a few seconds of sitting there in silence, processing everything, Skya just started bawling.
"Oh, Sweetheart. Don't cry. Everything is going to be ok." Bulma sadly told Skya, kneeling next to her.
"Can't you be nice to her?" Leriac questioned when Bulla walked over, rolling her eyes.
"Who's side are you on?" Bulla demanded.
"Skya's. As you've been told many times now, she is scared and alone in a new place—on a new planet. She lost the only family she knew. If you can't be nice to her, I don't know how long it will before I come back. Yes, I know we're mates and that we've connected, but I can't stand bullies. You know this; it's one of the first things I told you. No, I don't know what she's going through, but my grandparents do; I've heard the stories. Your father and Mr. Piccolo do. Aurora, Martius, and Nova all do. I love you; I do. But I would love to be friends with Skya once she is used to everything. I want to get to know her. You don't have to be friends with her, and you don't have to hang out with her—unless you're doing some family thing. But you could be nice to her. And no, it has nothing to do with getting kittens from Solar and Eclipse. You know me: I love making new friends. Along with Goten, Trunks is one of my best friends. If I'm going to be spending time with either of them, there's a chance I'll be hanging out with Nova and Skya as well. I would rather get to know them before judging them. Nova: I like Nova. But I do think she's a spoiled, entitled brat. I think if she matures as she ages, she'll be easier to get along with. Chihiro: I see her a lot as well because of Corrion. I like Chihiro as well; she's just a little overly hyper. But that's just how she is—and I'm used to that with Corrion because he too, is overly hyper. Skya: she's scared and painfully shy, but I strongly feel once she comes around, she'll be a great friend like the rest of them. And Marron: she's fun as well. I see her often because of Triton; they've connected and are best friends. Bulla: I love you more than anyone, and I consider you one of my very best friends. You will always be the one I love more than anyone; you will never be replaced. You are irreplaceable. And there may come a situation where you'll have to thank Skya." Leriac answered and firmly told Bulla.
"Are you hungry? I'm about to make breakfast for everyone. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, hash browns, maybe some rice, toast, fruit, something to drink. By that face, I'm guessing no bacon for you. You go hang out with Trunks and the others and when it's ready, we can all eat." Bulma gently told Skya once she got her to stop crying.
"What's wrong Vegeta?" Bulma inquired, noticing a look on her husband's face.
"Bacon? Where would she have had bacon? I know for a fact that the Moon doesn't have it. And I don't believe Venus has it either." Vegeta questioned.
"Halley did say that Stella and Skya had been on Earth for three days, and that they were staying with someone who said they could help. Maybe they had bacon there." Trunks suggested.
"Where's Skya?" Vegeta questioned.
"Bathroom." Trunks answered.
"Bulla." Bulma called.
"Yeah?" Bulla asked, watching her mother.
"I will give you one final chance. If you want to go to Wally-World and possibly the mall, you need to behave and be nice to Skya. Am I understood?" Bulma sternly told Bulla.
"Yes. Thank you." Bulla replied with a smile.
"Good. And just so you're aware: this was Skya's idea; Halley asked for her. After earlier, I really didn't want to give you another chance, but if Skya's asking for you to have another, one final chance: so be it. But that's it. If you screw up one more time, not even Skya will be able to save you." Bulma continued sternly informing Bulla.
"Yes, of course." Bulla replied, sounding at least a little guilty.
"Ok. Now, would you like to help me cook?" Bulma asked Bulla as Skya walked out.
"No, thank you." Bulla replied, turning back to Leriac.
"Go." Leriac firmly told Bulla, motioning to Skya.
"Skya. I'm sorry for how I've been treating you since yesterday. It wasn't fair of me. I hope you'll be happy here with us." Bulla took a deep breath before sincerely apologizing to Skya.
Skya just lightly bowed at Bulla, standing by a wall.
"Come on, Skya. Let's go back to the living room. Skya?" Trunks insisted only to end up questioning, confused. Skya had moved into the dining area and was watching Bulma. However, she stayed hidden around a corner, just peeking her head around it.
"Vegeta, would you like to help make breakfast?" Bulma questioned with a smile.
"Not really." Vegeta grumbled.
"Oh, come on." Bulma pleaded with her husband.
"Mom." Trunks spoke, standing next to her.
"What is it, Dear?" Bulma asked, watching Trunks.
"I think Skya wants to help; she's watching from around the corner. She heard you ask Bulla and Bulla say no; she's been watching since then. She reacted to you asking Dad and him saying "no" as well. And I can help her help you." Trunks informed Bulma before offering.
"Hi, Sweetie. Would you like to help Trunks and me make breakfast? No, it's ok; don't run and hide. If you want to help, I'd really appreciate it." Bulma kindly spoke with Skya, hoping not to scare her more than she already was.
"She waits for you to reach your hand out to her first." Trunks quietly told Bulma.
"Trunks, go get her a stool, or one of the tall barstools so she can see over the counter. Come on; we insist." Bulma told Trunks before slowly reaching her hand to Skya.
Skya stared at Bulma's hand for a few seconds before slowly reaching to take her hand. The two walked to the kitchen, where Trunks was already waiting with a stool.
"Ok. We'll start with the pancake batter." Bulma instructed, grabbing everything they would need.
Half an Hour Later:
"Breakfast!" Bulma called to the rest of the children.
"At least it stopped storming." Bulla noted, looking outside.
"It stopped awhile ago." Trunks stated as everyone got seated around the table.
"Now, behave, you two." Bulma told Trunks and Bulla, narrowing her eyes and placing plates in front of them.
"Solar, Eclipse: would you like to join the children for breakfast? I don't know what your kittens eat, but if they're eating solids; they're welcome over as well." Bulma offered.
"Really?" Eclipse questioned, stunned.
"Of course. I mean, you'll have to eat on the floor, but I can make you a plate if you'd like." Bulma replied with a smile.
"Sure. Come on, Kittens." Solar and Eclipse instructed before walking into the kitchen with seven tiny kittens following along.
"Hey, how's it going?" Goku asked, orbing in with Chi-Chi, Gohan, Videl, and Pan.
"It's going. The children and cats are just sitting down for breakfast. It was a rocky start, but everything's better. Would you like something to eat?" Bulma answered before offering them food.
"No, thank you. We already ate." Chi-Chi, Videl, and Gohan answered.
"Oh, yeah! Thank you." Goku immediately accepted Bulma's offer.
"I want pancakes and bacon, please." Pan happily accepted going to sit on Goku's lap.
"Of course." Bulma replied with a smile, getting them a plate.
"Umm… Skya, these are our family friends, Goku, Chi-Chi, Gohan, Videl, and Pan. Goku and Chi-Chi are Gohan, Goten, and Chihiro's parents, and Gohan and Videl are Pan's parents. That's Piccolo; he's also a family friend. We have a lot of other family friends who you will meet later, I'm sure." Trunks introduced Skya to Goku, his family, and Piccolo, realizing she was never introduced to any of their friends except for Goten, Chihiro, Leriac, and Corrion.
"Well, at least she's not hiding from you this time." Bulla noted, watching everybody.
"This is true." Trunks agreed, not wanting to argue anymore.
"Hello." Daiko and Nina greeted, orbing in.
"Hello." Bulma greeted with a smile.
"Are you here to bring us home?" Leriac questioned.
"That was the plan. But we're not going to make you leave while you're eating. These must be the kittens. Did you pick the ones you wanted?" Nina replied before asking after noticing Solar, Eclipse, and their kittens.
"Yes, those are the kittens. But no, I haven't picked them out. Their mother, Solar was explaining that the kitten or kittens would have to pick if they wanted us. And then they also have to stay with Solar for another month. Also, I figured it'd be best if the two who are going to pick Skya, pick her first." Leriac answered with a smile.
"This lady named Halley took over Skya and said that two kittens pick Skya, two pick Leriac, one picks Trunks, one picks Chihiro, and one picks Goten. Now, none of the kittens will be alone because three will be here, two will be with us, and two will be with Chihiro and Goten." Corrion added with a smile, causing Skya to freeze with blank eyes.
"Skya? Skya are you ok?" Trunks asked, concerned, watching Skya.
"She'll be fine. Just give it a minute or two." Eclipse spoke up, jumping onto Skya's lap while Solar jumped onto her shoulders.
"Did I do something wrong?" Corrion questioned, upset.
"Yes and no. We'll start with the no part of it. No, you didn't do anything because you didn't know—none of you did. So, don't beat yourself up about any of it. I'm surprised Halley didn't say anything… But…" Eclipse started explaining, becoming flustered.
"Bear with me; this will be a lot of information. Skya is Halley's reincarnation. However, as the children heard, she wasn't supposed to be; her mother, Stella was supposed to be Halley's reincarnation—and was supposed to be with Vegeta. But because of changes and prices made and paid, Skya is the reincarnation and is meant to be with Trunks. Now, because of those changes, the prices come at Skya's expense; she's not very strong and becomes sick often. And when she gets sick, she's down and out. She had her own at-home, on-call doctors because she gets that bad. If it wasn't for Halley, Skya would be a lot worse. If not for Halley, Skya would most likely be bedridden her entire life—or comatose until she reached a certain age. Halley sacrificed a lot while alive and she's sacrificing being able to rest in peace with her love and daughters in the Afterlife. And she didn't have to; she could've left shortly after Skya was born with the promise that Skya could move around a little. However, she would still be weak and unable to go far. If Halley had left shortly after Skya's birth, Skya wouldn't be here now. She'd most likely be trapped on Jupiter, under the "care" and control of Prince Cassius of Jupiter until she was strong enough to escape. Halley stayed and stayed locked within Skya for her health and safety. Half of Halley's soul lives deep within Skya's body, keeping her strong enough to move about and not as sick. The other half of Halley's soul resides in Limbo. I can't quite remember if it's sixteen or twenty-one. But whichever Skya reaches, Halley will leave Skya's body, and the two parts of her soul will once again become one; she will be able to be with her family in the Afterlife. And what you must know is that once Halley leaves Skya's body, Skya will be very sick for anywhere between a week and a month. Now, getting to why Skya seems frozen in shock. Because she is Halley's reincarnation and half of Halley's soul lives within her, she shouldn't be brought up around Skya while she's awake. We don't know why, but whenever Halley is brought up while Skya is awake; Skya will freeze for a few minutes. And once she comes back, she will be a little dazed. It doesn't hurt her or anything like that; she just freezes." Solar explained, not bothering to pause or take any breaths.
"Why would she be on Jupiter with Cassius?" Trunks questioned, becoming ridged.
"How do you know all that?" Eclipse questioned, stunned.
"How do you think I know all that. I'm from Venus; I've heard it all. The histories. The myths or legends. The prophecies. Everything. When Stella learned something, I learned as well. And I didn't say anything because Stella asked me not to. I am unaware what she told Chi-Tsuki other than the deal that was made when she was a child without her knowledge or consent. The reason why Skya would be on Jupiter with Prince Cassius instead of here if Halley had left shortly after her birth was because Stella's parents made a deal with Cassius's grandparents. In hopes of living in peace with some sort of alliance, Stella's parents promised her to one of Cassius's parent's children. However, none of them wanted Stella. Actually most of their children denounced anything having to do with Jupiter and them: only Cassius stayed. And while he didn't want Stella—because she was older, Cassius said he'd wait to see what she had. Stella argued, disagreed, and refused to have anything to do with Cassius, his parents, and his grandparents. Still, her parents went over her head and agreed to allow Cassius to have any daughter Stella may have. Sometime later, Stella was violently—attacked by several men. She was later saved by Chi-Tsuki, and he took her and I away from Venus to the Moon. And of course, Goro wanted her as well. The Moon was supposed to be a safe haven protected by the Silver Moon Crystal—along with the Heart of Venus, which Stella brought with her, much to her parent's chagrin."
"And then eight years ago, Skya was born. As per tradition, Chi-Tsuki wanted to name her Serenity. However, because of Goro and Cassius, they couldn't; it just wasn't safe. So, they played it off that Stella had a miscarriage, and that so-called child was Serenity. Stella came up with Skya because of myths and stuff she heard and learned growing up. Her parents strongly believed that Stella hated the myths, so nobody would ever expect her to name her child after one. You probably don't know, but females of Venus get to name their children whatever they want; the guys have no say. However, Stella knew how much the name "Serenity" meant to him and his family, so she compromised—especially with the fake miscarriage. We have "Skya Serenity." Chi-Tsuki didn't care how or where; he was just happy that Stella put "Serenity" in Skya's name. Surprisingly enough, his parents and the Moon kingdom accepted her name as well."
"But that's why Venus and the Moon were attacked and pretty well destroyed. I don't know about Goro, but Cassius knows about Skya and the fake miscarriage. So, I can only guess that Cassius and his parents are pissed and feel betrayed; Stella went back on her word—even though it wasn't her word, to begin with. But technically, because of Stella's parents, Skya was promised to Jupiter, and in all their eyes, belongs to Cassius; she was promised to him. And knowing Cassius: he won't stop until he gets what he wants—and what he believes is his." Solar explained, this time pausing a few times to take a breath.
"But she doesn't belong to him, does she?" Leriac questioned, concerned.
"The hell she does." Vegeta snapped.
"That's a loaded question. Because Stella was a child at the time, and her parents made the deal, she belonged to Jupiter. Yet, including Cassius, he and all his brothers denied Stella, thus breaking the deal. However, again, Cassius came to them when Stella was older and able to understand everything and made her the deal of peace if she gave him any daughter she may have. She turned him down, but her parents turned around and made the deal with Cassius and his parents. So, in that sense, yes Skya belongs to Cassius. But Stella didn't agree to it. But that wouldn't have mattered if she had a child with someone on Venus; any man would have agreed with her parents. Stella got extremely lucky that her mate wasn't from Venus; she got Chi-Tsuki, thus putting the decision in his hands—especially since he took Stella to the Moon. Then her parents have no say; it's up to Chi-Tsuki. He wasn't going to hand any child that was his over to anyone that his child didn't belong to. So, if Skya grew up and lived on Venus, she would belong to Cassius. Skya grew up and raised on the Moon until a few days ago. Now, she's here, on Earth, with the one she's actually truly meant to be with. So, in reality, she belongs here, on Earth with Trunks. Not to make her sound like property (because Stella would kill me otherwise), Skya belongs to Trunks. So, if Cassius or his family want her, they're going to have a fight on their hands." Solar answered in detail.
None of them realized that Skya had come back to reality and was listening to them—until she got up and ran to the bathroom to throw up some more.
"Excuse me." Trunks spoke up, leaving the table.
"Trunks." Bulma stopped him.
"Yes?" Trunks questioned, trying to remain calm. He didn't want to be told not to go and see Skya.
"Take this and give it to Skya. And stay calm." Bulma calmly told Trunks, handing him a water bottle.
"Thanks." Trunks replied, taking the water bottle.
With Trunks & Skya:
Knock. Knock.
"Skya? Skya, it's Trunks. Are you ok in there?" Trunks questioned after knocking on the door.
Silence.
"Knock twice for your ok and once for not. Please." Trunks pleaded with Skya, leaning against the door.
He became especially worried when there was no response whatsoever. He was about to go in there when Skya opened the door, stunning him; Trunks honestly wasn't expecting that.
"Here. Mom told me to bring you some water. I'm sorry if we upset you with that conversation. I also apologize for everyone because they're all truly sorry. It's just… We just want to learn more about you—and who wants to hurt you, so we can stop them. And I promise I won't let any of them take or hurt you." Trunks frantically spoke to Skya, watching her. She was listening to him; he could tell. However, she was also interested in the water bottle; she kept turning it upside down and back again. And then she started shaking it, trying to figure out how to get the water out.
"Sorry. If you want a drink, you have to twist the cap and take it off the bottle. You put this part in your mouth to drink the water. I promise it's just water." Trunks explained, removing the lid before handing the bottle back to Skya.
Slowly, Skya drank some of the water.
"Done?" Trunks asked when Skya handed him the water bottle. She nodded her head.
"Ok. Then you just twist this cap back on until you want more. Well, do you want to go back to the kitchen and finish eating? I think everyone is waiting for us to come back." Trunks showed Skya how to put the cap back on, handed her the water bottle, and then asked her.
After a few minutes of silence, Trunks started to hold out his hand to Skya. However, he ended up standing still, stunned, when Skya walked to him and hugged him, placing her face on his shoulder. She stood there, silently crying.
"Umm… Can I place my arms around you and hug you?" Trunks questioned, unsure of how she'd react.
Skya didn't say anything; she just held onto him tighter. Trunks took that as a signal that he was allowed to hug her in return. He hugged her and held her close to him with his chin resting on her head.
Neither of them was aware Bulma had come to check on them.
In the Kitchen:
"I hope we didn't upset her too much." Leriac spoke, watching where Skya and Trunks once were.
"You guys didn't do anything except ask some questions. I answered them without thinking to check if Skya was still in shock or if she had come back. This is on me, not any of you." Solar insisted, watching everyone.
"It's not your fault either. None of us were watching to see if she was listening or not. If we're going to blame anyone, it's not going to be on one single person: it's on all of us. Not a single one of us will take the blame." Bulma firmly voiced her opinion.
"Besides, Trunks is already blaming himself enough as is. What? It's true; I could read it all over his face when he went to go check on Skya." Vegeta spoke up before stating after Bulma gave him a look.
"Chihiro, where are you going?" Chi-Chi questioned when she saw Chihiro get up.
"I'm going to see if Skya's ok." Chihiro answered like Chi-Chi was supposed to know the answer.
"Oh, no, you're not. Let Trunks do what he needs to do to help Skya. Chihiro, she's scared and upset. She doesn't know any of us that well, and I'm pretty sure she's still getting to know Trunks, Bulma, Vegeta, and Bulla. I'm sure she she's trying to adjust to her new surroundings. And you best lose that attitude before your butt is grounded. Now, go back to your seat." Chi-Chi firmly told Chihiro before sending her back to the table.
"Chihiro, Sweetheart; you're mommy is correct. Skya is scared and is trying to get to know all of us—including Trunks. She's been here not even a full day. This is all very scary for her. It's very kind and considerate of you to worry about Skya and want to be friends with her. But she still needs time. Can you please give her the time she needs?" Bulma gently spoke to Chihiro.
"I guess." Chihiro grumbled.
"I'm going to check on Trunks and Skya. But before I do, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come with us on our camping trip in two weeks before school starts. It's a full week of just being out in nature. We'll have regular tents and glamping tents for those who don't want to sleep on the hard ground. I know for a fact that Goku, Chi-Chi, Goten, and Chihiro are coming for sure. Gohan and Videl will come if they can find a sitter for Pan—even though Pan can come along. It doesn't bother none. I asked Aurora and Martius to come with Nova. At the time, they said yes. But now, with Skya along, you just never know. I hope they come, but with how Nova is with Skya; I just don't know. But if you don't have anything else planned, I'd like it if you could join. I never asked you before because you had plans that were only just canceled a few days ago. Think about it and let me know." Bulma told Nina and Daiko before going to check on Trunks and Skya.
When Bulma rounded the corner to go down the hall, she saw Skya clinging to Trunks, crying. She vaguely heard Trunks ask for permission to hug Skya.
Typically, Bulma would be cooing and taking pictures at this moment. However, she knew Trunks would become angry—and who knows how Skya would react? So, she just let them be.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The moment she walked away, someone started banging on the front door.
"Now, who could that be?" Bulma questioned, walking over to the door—with Vegeta close behind her.
Just before she got to the door, it flew open to reveal a drenched Yamcha.
"Well, just come in, why don't you?" Vegeta sarcastically offered.
"Is it true?" Yamcha immediately questioned, ignoring Vegeta.
"Is what true?" Bulma replied, confused.
"You let a complete stranger move in without knowing anything about this person?" Yamcha demanded, staring at Bulma and Vegeta.
"What are you talking about? We didn't just let some stranger move in without knowing anything." Bulma questioned, narrowing her eyes.
"Don't pull that shit with me." "Hey! Don't you dare talk to my wife like that!" Vegeta snapped, interrupting Yamcha.
"I live down the street from Aurora and Martius, remember? That includes Nova. She told me that you let some evil monster move in with you. And Aurora and Martius confirmed it; you let some child move in. You let some child you know nothing about move in. You know nothing about this child's parents and where this child comes from! They could be some evil spy or something, come to destroy Earth! Bulma, come on; you know better. Him, I'm not so sure of because he likes a fight, but still. You all know a child is just a deceiving look!" Yamcha explained, snapping a little.
"Back off. I may not know the little girl, but I did know her mother. And that little girl is Trunks's mate." Vegeta angrily retorted, glaring at Yamcha.
"She really is just a sweet and scared little girl, who just lost her parents." Bulma spoke as calmly as she could.
"That's another family friend: Yamcha. Though I don't know why; he's insanely jealous of Dad because he's painfully obsessed with Mom." Trunks explained to Skya as they walked over.
"So you just let some slut into your home so she can have sex with Trunks? What kind of parents are you? They just going to have sex and you know it!" Yamcha declared, causing Skya to shrink behind Trunks.
"She is an eight-year-old little girl, Yamcha; they're not going to be having sex anytime soon. How could you say such a thing?" Bulma questioned, shocked.
"Excuse us." Trunks spoke as Skya clung to his shirt.
"Trunks. You have to be smarter than any of that. This girl is probably not even a little girl; it's most likely a disguise. Oh. Hi, Skya. Wait. Skya?" Yamcha tried reasoning with Trunks before greeting Skya when he saw her. He then asked, stunned, shocking everyone else in the room.
"You know Skya? How do you know Skya?" Bulma questioned, confused.
"I met her and her single mother a few days ago. Hi, Sweetheart. Where's your mommy?" Yamcha answered before kneeling to calmly ask Skya, not realizing she was the girl they let live with them.
Skya stood there frozen before the tears started falling.
"NO!" Skya screamed when Yamcha reached to pat her head. She let go of Trunks, ran to Vegeta, and hid behind his legs.
"That was weird. What did you do to her? What did you do to her mother?" Yamcha spoke, confused, before accusing Vegeta.
"I didn't do anyth—" "You're asking the wrong people. What did you do to them?" Trunks questioned, interrupting Vegeta, shocking him, Bulma, and Yamcha.
"What are you talking about?" Yamcha questioned, confused.
"You're the one who "helped" them. When you first met them, Skya and Stella were in some kind of danger. You said you could help and protect them, but you didn't; you kept them locked in a room or something. They escaped yesterday and came to us. Stella is now gone—along with her husband. So, what did you do to them? Don't tell me you didn't do anything; Skya wouldn't be reacting the way she is toward you if you didn't do anything. So, you did something." Trunks angrily told Vegeta.
"Jeez. What's with you?" Yamcha questioned, shocked at Trunks's "outburst."
"If you think this attitude is bad, you haven't seen anything. That stranger you claim we just let move in with us. That is Skya, and she is Trunks's mate. As troublesome as he can be, Trunks is actually very mature and won't do anything to Skya until they're much, much older. As for her mother, Stella; she was my best friend. Stella was like my sister. I promised her years ago that if anything were to happen to her and she had children, I would protect them. She only had Skya, so Skya I will protect. As will Trunks, Bulma, and even Bulla. She is our family. So, answer Trunks: what did you do to them?" Vegeta sternly spoke up before demanding.
"You can't be serious. Bulma, you don't even know her." Yamcha replied, stunned, refusing to answer Vegeta or Trunks.
"That again? I know she's a sweet girl who is scared, alone, and needs our help. And for your information: you didn't know them either when you took them in three days ago. Come here, Sweetie." Bulma sternly told Yamcha before lifting Skya into her arms.
"They have ways of finding out. Skya is a reincarnation of a very powerful previous Venarian called Halley. She visited them and kind of filled them in. She didn't tell them what you did to Stella and Skya, but we all know you did something. I don't know what you did to either of them, but I know you did something." Solar explained, jumping onto Vegeta's shoulder, not caring if he cared or not.
"The cats are here too, I see. Wait. You can talk? What did that Halley or Skya say to you?" Yamcha mumbled before asking, almost demanding.
"We're cats from Venus and the Moon; yes, we can talk. Halley didn't say much; she's not allowed to say everything. She is only allowed to give certain information and tidbits of certain things. As for Skya: she's currently not speaking. But you should know that; she didn't speak around you either. Now, we don't know what you did to either of them, but Skya does. You kept them in the same room together at all times." Eclipse spoke, jumping onto Trunks's shoulders.
"Well, we do know, but we're not allowed to say, due to spells and all that fun stuff. I see that look of relief in your eyes. You may want to lose it. While Skya isn't speaking right at this point in time, she can still communicate to Vegeta what you did. She can also communicate with either Goku or Daiko. Maybe even Trunks and the others. I say maybe Trunks and the others because they're only half Saiyan, so I really don't know if it would work. All I know is that she can use this technique with full Saiyans. All she has to do is… Sorry. I take that back: Skya's too short to reach Vegeta. So, all VEGETA has to do is place her forehead on his forehead, lock eyes, and then all she has to do is concentrate on what she wants to show up. Or she can mimic certain noises and you can guess what happened." Solar explained, getting Vegeta's attention right away.
Yamcha saw the look in Vegeta's eyes and started backing up.
"Child…" "Remember, Vegeta: you can't just make her do what you want." Bulma interrupted Vegeta.
"I know that. Child, will you show me what that bastard did to you and your mommy?" Vegeta grumbled before gently asking Skya.
After a minute or two, Skya started making interesting noises that she shouldn't be making at her age. She shouldn't even know what those noises sound like in the first place at her age.
"Ok, so we had sex. I wasn't even aware Skya was awake at the time. I was so worried when I came home, and they weren't there." Yamcha admitted before trying to play innocent.
"Skya. Look at me. Do NOT look at him. Concentrate on me." Vegeta instructing, using her name instead of "Child." However, Skya couldn't concentrate with Yamcha's excessive babbling behind them.
"May I suggest something?" Leriac questioned, walking over.
"What is it?" Bulma calmly replied.
"I know I don't know much about Venarians or Lunarians. But being Saiyan, I do know a little about us. And I know enough about Trunks to know he's stronger than he gives himself credit for. So are Bulla, Gohan, Goten, my siblings, and myself. I think he could communicate with Skya in the way Solar was explaining. Or maybe he could be a connector. She could concentrate on Trunks with her forehead against his, and you could place your hand on his shoulder or top of his head. It's just a suggestion. But I think it could work—with how close and safe she feels with Trunks." Leriac gave his opinion.
"You could try. What could it hurt?" Bulma questioned.
"I'll keep the door blocked. I want to know as well." Piccolo spoke up, standing by the front door.
"Fine. But we're going to go by the door connecting to the garage. Come on, Boy." Vegeta instructed, leading the way.
"This is just ridiculous." "Shhh!" Bulma angrily hushed Yamcha, interrupting him. They watched Vegeta set Skya on her feet just as lightning flashed. Thunder soon followed, causing Skya to crumble.
"Great. You couldn't hold off a little longer?" Vegeta questioned the storms, looking out the window.
"Skya, I promise it's just thunder and lightning; it's just part of storms here on Earth. It's not Cassius coming to get you. And even if it was, I promise you; we'll protect you from him. We will never let Cassius get you. Now, if Yamcha hurt you and your mother, we need to know what he did, so that we can punish him in some way or another. I know you're scared, but I'm right here. Mom and Dad are here along with Goku and his family, Mr. Piccolo, and Leriac and his family. Can you please concentrate on me?" Trunks calmly spoke to Skya, making her look him in the eyes.
Slowly, Skya stood up while Trunks knelt in front of her. They were roughly the same height that way and could connect their foreheads easier.
Once they were situated, Vegeta placed a hand on each of their heads.
"Ok. Concentrate on Trunks. Concentrate on showing him what that bastard did to you and your mommy. And you concentrate on sending it to me." Vegeta instructed, concentrating on Skya and Trunks.
Skya took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Trunks took a deep breath and closed his eyes. And Vegeta took a deep breath but did not close his eyes.
After a few minutes of nothing but seeing that Trunks could see something, Vegeta finally closed his eyes. And he saw—he saw everything Skya was showing Trunks. He saw:
· Stella arriving on Earth with Skya in the middle of a subway.
· Yamcha bumping into them as they were wandering the subway.
· Yamcha telling Stella he could help them—just go with him.
· Stella kind of telling Yamcha about finding him to keep Skya safe.
· Yamcha insisting he could keep them safe.
· Yamcha locking them in a windowless room.
· Yamcha forcing Stella to have sex with him by saying it was the only way he'd help them.
· Yamcha forcing Skya to watch him forcing Stella to have sex with him.
· Yamcha forcing Skya to eat what he made—even though she didn't like whatever it was.
· Yamcha getting angry with Skya for no real reason and then smacking her across the face.
· Yamcha lifting Skya by her shoulders and pinning her to a wall because he was angry.
· Those weird creatures that were dead on the beach showed up and started attacking them.
That all took place in the timeframe of two days before Stella used the Heart of Venus to escape with Skya.
Vegeta was livid. Trunks just lost it and went after Trunks.
"Whoa! What's going on? What happened?" Everyone questioned as Trunks flew past them in a rage.
"Trunks, stop!" Vegeta yelled, chasing after him. He got to Trunks just before he could attack Yamcha.
"Let me go! Let go!" Trunks yelled, trying to get to Yamcha.
"Trunks, no! Calm down; he's not worth it. Think of Skya; she needs you right now. Go to her. Take care of her. Now." Vegeta firmly told Trunks, holding him back. He then demanded, sending him back to Skya as more lightning appeared in the sky and the thunder boomed around them.
"What happened? What did you see?" Bulma questioned, concerned, watching Trunks struggling against Vegeta.
"Trunks. Calm down now, or I'll knock you out like I did when Buu was our enemy." Vegeta strictly warned Trunks.
"Fine." Trunks finally gave up and took a deep breath before returning to Skya. She was crying and rocking back and forth by the time he got to her.
"I'm sorry." Trunks sincerely and guiltily apologized, watching Skya. She just stared back at him before slowly crawling to him; she continued to gradually move to him until he allowed her to lean against him.
"What is going on?" Bulma demanded, frustrated.
"I'll fill you in when the children aren't around. You: you need to get out of my house right now. And you are not to come anywhere near my wife or my children, including Skya ever again. If you ever come near any of us again—especially Skya, I will not hesitate to put you in the hospital or something." Vegeta strictly warned and threatened Yamcha.
"Are you going to let him talk to me like that?" Yamcha questioned Bulma.
"I don't know what he saw, but it must be pretty terrible for Vegeta to be saying what he's saying. And for Trunks to react in the way that he did; I have never seen him that angry before. So, it may be best if you leave." Bulma replied, annoyed.
"They're lying. Can't you see that? Ok. Maybe Trunks isn't lying—and maybe that oath isn't lying. But Skya is. I don't know what she showed you, but whatever it was, it was all a lie. All I did was help her and her mother. And those ungrateful girls left without saying a single word of gratitude. That little girl is only angry because, unlike her worthless mother, I put my foot down and punished her. I didn't let her walk all over me." Yamcha replied, pissing off Vegeta, Bulma, Solar, Eclipse—and Skya.
"Skya?" Trunks questioned, confused, seeing a look of anger in her eyes. She got up like she was in a trance or something and started walking back to the living room.
"Hey, there, you. It's not very nice to lie to people—especially about someone who was just trying to help you." Yamcha started speaking to Skya as she and Trunks walked over.
"Oh, boy. If you knew what was good for you, you'd back off, and walk away." Solar spoke, watching Skya.
"I can guarantee Skya isn't lying because she doesn't lie. And those visions she shares can only be of what truly happened. They're impossible to fake." Eclipse stated, not caring what Skya did to Yamcha.
"Back off. I'm talking to the child. I'm sorry about your mother and your father, but that doesn't mean you can go around telling lies. Honestly, what were your parents teaching you? Now, if you could: please tell Trunks and this oath the truth. And if you tell me how sorry you are for your lies, I'm sure I can forgi—Ow! What the hell?!" Yamcha told Solar and Eclipse before calmly speaking with Skya, insulting her and her parents. She had enough and kicked him in the shin—hard.
Yamcha went crumbling down.
"We tried to warn you. Vegeta, if I were you, I'd probably pick her up before she breaks his legs. If she breaks his legs, he'll be stuck here with you." Solar spoke up.
"What the hell?! She really is a little monster. The little brat gets violent. All I wanted was an apology." Yamcha grumbled, struggling to stand up.
"Just hold her out and away from you and others; she'll wear herself out. From you, that's enough." "Yes, I agree; that's enough from the jackass." Halley spoke through Skya and interrupted Eclipse.
"So, you do speak. And you have a foul mouth. Are you going to give me a simple little apologize and tell them the truth?" Yamcha condescendingly questioned, watching Skya.
"You can set me down now. Thank you. And thank you; I am very proud of my foul mouth. And no, I'm not going to apologize to you. Skya has nothing to apologize for. Oh, and I'm not Skya. Like a few times before, I'm just borrowing her body. My name is Halley. I don't know if you've heard of me before or not—and quite frankly, I don't give a flying rat's ass. If parents do not want their children hearing certain words or subjects, I'd recommend you get them out of the area now. Right now, the basement is probably the safest place with the incoming weather." Halley told Vegeta before speaking to Yamcha. She then spoke directly to everyone else with children.
"Go ahead. Bulla, go with Chi-Chi and Videl." Bulma told Chi-Chi, Videl, Bulla, and whoever else.
Chi-Chi and Videl took Pan, Chihiro, Goten, Bulla, and Corrion to the basement. Trunks wasn't going anywhere without Skya, and Leriac stayed as well.
"Solar, Eclipse: get your kittens in the bag. That way they're ready for when I leave and it's time to go to the basement. You get in the bag as well. Someone can take the bag when you head downstairs." Halley told Solar and Eclipse after calling the bag over.
"Now, back to you. Listen, I really don't like having to borrow Skya's body and come here and talk to the likes of you for nothing really important. Skya has no reason to apologize to you because everything she showed them was true. She knows it. They know it. I know it. And you know it. And honestly, you should be thankful Skya kicked you and not me; I would've broken your leg with one kick. And Skya could do that as well. She can sure pack a kick and a punch for someone as tiny as her. It's a shame she couldn't have everything she should have because of payments. And for your information, Dickwad: Skya kicked you because you pissed her off. Skya hates being called a liar—especially since she never lies. But the one thing she hates more than anything—especially now that they're dead, is when ignorant assholes or bitches insult her parents. Now, if I were you, I wou—" "Aren't you a sweet child? Maybe you should let the adults speak." Yamcha interrupted Halley, patting her on the head.
"Ohh, ho-ho. You don't realize the mistake you've just made, do you?" Halley questioned, now pissed off.
"It's ok. It must be nap time." Yamcha continued to taunt Halley. That was until Halley lifted Yamcha into the air without laying a single finger on him and then slammed him back to the ground. She kept him pinned to the ground with his arm behind his back.
"Get off!" Yamcha yelled, trying, yet failing to get up.
"Now, now: just calm down and relax. It's time to listen to me. One: I'm not a child; I am a dead adult, borrowing Skya's body. And even though I can only use half of my powers; I'm still twenty times stronger than you. Two: don't contradict me. Three: don't pat my head or ignore me. Four: don't ever dismiss me. I'm not someone you want to mess with. And I'm certainly not one you want to piss off. Back in my day, I was on the same level as Beerus. And guess what. I should have never been on the same level as him, but I trained and pushed my body a lot further than people believed I should. Beerus is someone I greatly respect, and last I knew; he respected me as well. Not many can do what I did. But I'm proof that if you train hard enough and push your body hard enough, you can do just any damn thing you want. Beerus, Whis: are you going to come out of hiding any time soon? I can hear you." Halley angrily told Yamcha before questioning Beerus and Whis.
"So, that really is you in there." Whis spoke, watching Halley.
"Yeah, it's me. What do you want?" Halley questioned, annoyed.
"Oooh… What did you do to piss Halley off? I'd really hate to be you right now." Beerus questioned before stating.
"Get her off of me!" Yamcha exclaimed.
"Oh, no. I'm not going anywhere near her right now. Even at half her power, she's scary. Yes, I respect you. Not many can get to my level." Beerus denied Yamcha's plea before telling Halley.
"Actually, we both respect and fear you. So far, you're the only one who was able to surpass Beerus. Dante desperately wanted to get there as well, but he failed." Whis spoke, shocking everyone in the room.
"Yes, I know. He's the reason I'm dead." Halley growled, twisting Yamcha's arm some more.
"Yes, we heard. We also heard about the prices you had to pay. We just came to see if everything else was true." Beerus spoke, watching Halley with interest.
"Get off! Stop twisting my arm!" Yamcha yelled.
"Yeah, it's all true. Oh, have you had enough? How does it feel? How does it feel to be completely dominated? The only difference is I'm not using someone's daughter as an incentive. I didn't use an innocent child to get what I wanted because I could. You met Stella and Skya and thought, "hey: she's a hot single mother—who looks a little lost." You thought, "I can help her, and after I do, she'll repay the favor." You talked to them and told them you could help them. You promised you'd take them to where they wanted to be; you promised to take them straight to Vegeta because you knew him. You didn't overly care for him, but you were friends. You would take her to them, but first you needed to stop at home for an hour or whatever to do whatever. You took advantage of Stella's delirium and got her into your house and then locked them in the basement!" Halley snapped.
"She was willing!" Yamcha yelled, finally admitting he slept with Stella.
"Call it whatever you want; you still raped her. She wasn't willing; she only had sex with you because you threatened Skya—who wasn't feeling well! Stella may have had sex with you, but you forced her—you forced her hand. And you made Skya watch! If I didn't have so many damn restrictions, I would've disemboweled you on the spot. If you want to get police involved, fine. Go ahead. But it won't get you anywhere except jail. I will come back and easily pretend to be sweet, innocent Skya. I will tell them everything you did, including showing them the video footage. Oh, you really think Stella wouldn't have some kind of backup plan, when it comes to her child? Stella sacrificed herself for her child—so that her child could live and not have to suffer the same curse she had to. Now, listen to me very carefully, Yamcha. I am dead, so I can find you wherever you go. Half of my soul is in Limbo. Don't you for even a second think that I won't have that half of my soul follow your every move. The other half of my soul is here, with Skya and will be for an undisclosed amount of time. Do or say something stupid, and I will slowly and painfully eviscerate you while you're alive and conscious. Don't you dare think I won't. And the only reasons I'm not doing it at this moment are because I like and greatly respect Vegeta and Bulma. And for Skya, I absolutely love Trunks. I wouldn't have it any other way. Yes, Skya is my reincarnation, but Trunks is not the reincarnation of my love at all. And do you know why? It's because despite being my reincarnation, Skya is her own person. Skya isn't and doesn't have to be me. I had my time. Now, is her time. So, believe me or not, I didn't pick Trunks for her. That's fate's doing. And my final reason for not eviscerating you right now is because of Vegeta. Like I said before: I like and greatly respect him and his wife. I also like and respect Goku and his family and a few of their other friends. And despite Bulla being a major brat, I like and respect her as well; she reminds me a lot of me when I was her age. But going back to Vegeta: he is being generous enough to let you walk out of his house without any consequences—and that's after Skya showed you everything you did to her and Stella. So, I'm going to let you up, and you're going to walk out that door. As for no consequences. No, that's not how I work: once you leave this house, you won't remember any of this conversation. You will remember what you did to Stella and Skya and everything you did. You will also remember that Vegeta and Bulma now know. That means you will remember Vegeta's kind and generous warning. If Goku and the others want to be your friend still, I won't stop them. But you are to do what Vegeta told you. I honestly don't care what you do with or about Bulma, Bulla, Trunks, or Vegeta; they know how to defend themselves. But if you go near Skya in any way, shape, or form, Vegeta will be the least of your worries. Do you understand?" Halley angrily and dangerously warned—and maybe even threatened Yamcha.
"Yes." Yamcha answered with the fear of Halley in him.
"Good." Halley responded, letting go of his arm and getting up.
"Well, what are you waiting for? There's the door." Vegeta spoke up, looking at the door.
"Wh-what? Now?" Yamcha questioned, stunned.
"Yes, now." Bulma answered, shocking Yamcha even more.
"But." "I can't condone anything you did. And I can't respect you either." Bulma told Yamcha as Halley dug around in Skya's bag.
"Do you see the weather outside? I'll get blown away or drown!" Yamcha snapped.
"Step outside that door and you'll go through a portal, taking you home. You may only get a little wet or drenched. But you'll be fine otherwise." Halley stoically told Yamcha, handing Whis something.
With that—and several glaring eyes, Yamcha walked to the door and left. As Halley stated, a portal took him home before dissipating.
I can't tell them anything about Skya's abilities for the future.
But you and Beerus, on the other hand, can.
You can then tell them what I tell you.
There ain't nothing against that.
All they know is that she's not that strong physically.
And that will always be true—to a point.
Once she reaches fourteen, she can start lightly training.
Once I leave her, she'll be incredibly sick for a week to a month.
During that time, all she can do is rest and take it easy to feel better.
After that, she can really start training to become a lot stronger.
I don't think she'll ever get close to my level physically.
But magically speaking:
That's an entirely different story.
Her magic, she may start working with when she turns twelve.
Take and REWRITE this note in your own words.
DO NOT directly say I wrote this.
Just kind of hint that I wrote it.
"Well, that was a lot. I can't believe Yamcha would do all that. I mean, I understand that he did; he admitted to it in a way. But still…" Bulma spoke, upset.
"I know. Why would he hurt a child?" Goku asked, confused.
"I don't know. I never pictured him doing any of that. But I had been noticing changes in him—other than him being more obsessed with Bulma." Gohan spoke, crossing his arms.
"He's a creep." Daiko insisted.
"Are you ok?" Leriac questioned, watching Halley.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just brought so much of my powers and energy into Skya's body; I used too much. I pushed her body too much—too far. So, I have to get going. But before I do: Beerus and Whis: it was really good to see you again—somewhat in person. See you next time. Thank you." Halley answered Leriac speaking to Beerus and Whis.
"Of course. We hope you visit, and we can talk again." Beerus and Whis replied, each quickly hugging a very drained Halley. Whis handed her the note she wanted. And then they were gone.
"Vegeta and Goku: if you can wait a few years until Skya is between fourteen and sixteen; I may be able to teach and train you a little. I can teach you and your boys how to make things float and come to you. I can teach you and your boys all sorts of things that only Venarians and Lunarians are supposed to know or be able to do. I can teach you secret Venarian and Lunarian techniques that not even most Venarians or Lunarians can do or even know about. But apparently that's my fault. But moving on. Technically speaking, Skya could teach you some of the abilities once she turns twelve because there are a lot of magic-based abilities. You just need to have a lot of energy. Ah… Ok. I get it. I'm going. Gotta go. Bye. See you again some time. Don't mind me. I used too much energy; Skya's not going to be able to stand by herself right away. Read and then give to your mom or dad." Halley explained before hunching over in pain. She walked over to Trunks and leaned into him. She then continued to whisper to him, shoving the note Whis handed her into Trunks's hand.
And like that, Halley was gone, and Skya collapsed, passed out in Trunks's arms.
"Let's get to the basement." Bulma insisted, watching the wind pick up outside along with the rain, lightning, and thunder.
"Where is Skya's bag? Solar, Eclipse, and their kittens are in there." Trunks questioned, looking around, lifting Skya into his arms.
"I have her bag." Leriac informed Trunks, holding Skya's bag.
"Trunks, let your father take Skya. She's not conscious and while I know she's not very heavy; trying to carry her downstairs and an entirely different issue." Bulma calmly told Trunks.
"You can have her back when we get down there." Vegeta added after seeing Trunks's resistance.
Reluctantly, Trunks let Vegeta take Skya from him.
"So, what did Halley give you?" Gohan questioned, watching Trunks, getting everyone else's attention.
"I'm not sure exactly. Some kind of note. I'm supposed to read it and then give it to Mom or Dad." Trunks answered, opening the basement door.
"Did you get answers?" Bulla and Goten asked right away.
"Yes." Everyone answered.
"Short version: Yamcha is a creep. Long version: you can get later." Bulma added as Vegeta set Skya on a cot.
"What happened to Skya?" Chihiro questioned, worried.
"She's tired." Gohan calmly answered.
"Did that Halley person who took over Skya's body hurt her?" Chihiro inquired.
"No. She just used too much energy at one time. It just happened to be too much for Skya—and Halley as well. Skya will be just fine; she just needs rest." Bulma assured Chihiro with a smile as Trunks sat next to Skya.
"What's the weather doing outside?" Chi-Chi and Videl questioned.
"Nasty. The rain, wind, lightning, and thunder are all picking up. It's not nice at all." Nina answered.
"Are you done reading that note?" Vegeta questioned, watching Trunks.
"Yeah." Trunks replied, looking at the note.
"Hand it over." Vegeta ordered.
"I already gave it to Mom." Trunks replied, looking toward Bulma.
"I'll give it to you when I'm done reading it." Bulma told Vegeta.
Dearest Trunks, Vegeta, Bulma and Goku and Family,
A certain someone you know is unable to give you specific information without any consequences.
So, that certain someone sent us to inform you instead—seeing as there won't be any consequences if we inform you.
As you know, Skya isn't physically all that strong—currently.
Once she reaches fourteen, however, Skya can start simple training—nothing too strenuous.
Once Halley's soul is able to move on, Skya will be incredibly sick for anywhere up to a month.
While she's sick for that possible month, all she should do is rest to feel better.
Once she feels better and is back to full strength—for her, Skya can start upping her training to become stronger.
Still, she shouldn't overdo it by pushing too much or too hard.
She apparently has or will have incredibly strong magical abilities and will be able to start working on that at twelve.
Your dear, dear friends,
Beerus, Whis & Anonymous.
