Say, what do you think about anime tropes?

Usually, the church is straight up corrupt from the inside, and with the facade of praising "God", they did what they always wanted. This was an trope that would make sense to most of the plotlines mostly set in the middle ages. In fact, it is very rare for a world to have a church that is actually in the good light.

Satoru had experienced such events.

But now, how would he save the world? He could just go on an adventure, leaving behind everyone, his students and Aiko, but that was a selfish and foolish thing to do.

It was boring saving the world all by himself, you know. Once he had finished saving the 9th world, he contemplated on doing the cycle again and again until it becomes too boring.

But now, because 22 of his students are also summoned to this world, he would go on and guide them through various means. It doesn't matter if he uses one of his evil personas just to force them to change, but he would not dare kill them. That's completely off-limits. But what if he accidentally kills one of them while he is putting an evil persona? Simple, revive them while putting them to sleep for a few hours.

Hm, good.

By the way, he still maintained a calm and stoic facade while thinking of something necessarily evil.

Well, first of all, where was he going right now? Of course, he would go to Eri's room first, she needed psychiatric treatment through a small talk with him. It was normal for him to do so, and eve. if Kouki did say that he saved her, he didn't really know what to do next.

First, I knocked on the door to her room, don't worry about how I knew where. And before that, I waited for a response.

Then, I knocked on it with a rhythmic pattern.

The door opened, revealing a surprised Eri who was inside in new clothing given to her by the people here. She doesn't have the glasses that she usually wore almost all the time.

"Sorry for my intrusion, Eri-chan. Anyway, can I come in?" I asked her, in which she replied with a short nod.

So, when I came inside her room, she arranged the seats so that we could talk about many things. Eri Nakamura was a working student working at a cafe nearby the school, and she also had a currently repairing state of mind, you know, PTSD from certain events.

We only had some small talk that lasted for ten minutes, and that's all. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I ended up talking to only a few more of my students, the ones who didn't either refused or were already asleep.

To those who I've talked to, were all saying that they might need to adapt to the situations here, especially when they are about to go to war, Shizuku once said that we aren't going to simply fight against demons with monstrous forms, but also that we're fighting against actual people. When I asked Kouki, the second to last person I wanted to talk with about it, his response was:

"... We're fighting against real, sentient people? I have been thinking about that for a while now, sensei. But before that, I wanted proof, that the supposed demons aren't simply monsters going around and killing mankind..."

Kouki needed proof in order to think about what his opinion towards this world's races would be. Racism not intended. But I do plan on creating a group in the shadows.

Lastly, I went to Hajime's room, in which he welcomed me in.

"Is there anything you wanted to discuss about, Sensei?" Hajime asked curiously. He did not look tired yet, probably because of his habits which I would consider quite a drag to convince him out of.

I closed the door behind me, before soundproofing the room entirely so nobody would hear us talk about things, just like what I did earlier whole talking to my students to gain their opinions about certain things or simply establish some more social connection to them.

"It's about your suspicions towards what was happening right now." When I said this, Hajime nodded and paused for a moment, clearly thinking about it.

"... I am deeply troubled, sensei. In fact, I don't know if everyone would take this seriously or lightly, and even so, I doubt that Echt, their god, would actually let us back to Earth after doing his dirty work. I've had my suspicions since I thought that Ishtar looked like he would have actually wanted to use us as tools." Hajime replied in a few sentences, expressing his suspicions, before being cautiously silent.

"Sensei, I don't think that we should be discussing something like this right now. There might be some spies around us which might give both of us red flags."

"Alright, good night to you, Hajime-chan."

With that, I left his room and disabled all of my spells at once, before going back to where my room was.

There was also no doubt that Kouki and Hajime were both suspicious about church, with Hajime being more suspicious about them.

Now, decisions have to be made...
