AN: A little bit crackish, I suppose, but I had fun writing it.
Down like a sack of bricks he went, immediately out cold.
Yuan blinked.
"Excellent work, Botta."
/
"And just who the hell are you?"
Lloyd didn't even dignify the words with a response, instead giving the door a withering glare.
Not receiving an answer, Yuan just decided to blast him.
He almost didn't even feel the pain this time.
/
After that, Lloyd slowly began to realise that something was very, very not right with this situation.
No, it wasn't the fact Yuan was zapping and blasting him. Not really, anyway.
In actuality, it was the fact that he kept doing it. At first, Lloyd thought it was some sort of elaborate form of torture or trickery, intented to spirit answers from him about his purpose here.
But each time Yuan responded with confusion, Lloyd slowly decided that this wasn't the case.
No, he was stuck in a time loop... Something must have gone horribly wrong with the time travel machine, and now all he could do was hope they figured it out quickly.
Tired of waiting for a reply from the boy staring into space with a frown, Yuan decided to blasted said face with a ball of energy.
/
"And just who the hell are you?" Lloyd and Yuan shouted in sync, with Lloyd pointing his finger at Yuan accusingly. "This is my office! ...Stop that! Why you little-" The blue haired man lost patience with this charade and shot a ball of lightning at Lloyd, who quickly ducked under the desk.
BAM. A nice scorch mark on the opposite wall.
"Well, gee, I'm glad that wasn't me." Lloyd drawled from under the desk, and he could practically feel the ire from the other man. If looks could kill, the desk would probably be ablaze already. That's fair, though. Lloyd was just getting a little revenge for all the zapping.
Ah well. Time to try and fail again. "Oh, by the way, I'm from the future."
ZAP.
/
Zap
Bam
Boom
"Fool!"
/
Lloyd woke up to a grey ceiling and blissful silence. No shouting, no energy bashing his nose in...
It was the inside of the time machine, and he was on the floor. His arms felt like jelly and he could barely move... But at least he was back.
The door opened, and he looked to see who it was.
Yuan was in the doorway, concern visible as he entered.
Lloyd shouted weakly, "And just who the hell are you?""
And to that, Yuan merely cackled.
