After lunch, Rei and Akari were preparing a few extra meals for later in the field since they would most likely have to camp out somewhere in the middle of the fieldlands at night which immediately concerned the two of them considering the fact there would most likely be Pokemon out there that would try to attack them.

"Do you think we'll be safe?" Akari asked her boyfriend, admittingly scared.

"I would hope that we are…" Rei replied. "I mean… we also have to worry about him." At which case they both turned to look at Lego, who was petting his Pokemon. They were both still concerned as to his true motives, his unpredictable nature… They also thought he might've been the cause of the Noble Pokemon going into a frenzy.

Lego eventually stood up. "Alright, let's head out," he said.

"Shouldn't you first change into your Survey Corps uniform?" Rei asked Lego, who indeed still hadn't changed.

"I guess I should…" Lego said. "Hold on, let me change." He then went to change in the tent that was there, making sure no one could see him change clothing.

When he came out wearing the uniform, he was stretching a bit. "Hmm…" Lego didn't mind how it felt. It felt a bit soft, honestly. "Pretty nice."

"Yeah, it's meant to be. Especially since we're out and about," Rei said. "It's as if we're expected to take a few tumbles and stuff. Granted… it happens, and it's not like this uniform keeps us 100% safe… but it does it's job."

"Mhm," Lego said. "Alright, let's go!" Pointing forward, he shouted, "We're off on an adventure!" His Pokemon cheered at that.

"Well, luckily, we have a map of the surrounding area," Rei said as he pulled out a map of the Obsidian Fieldlands. Looking at it. "However… I'm not sure where exactly we need to go…"

"We don't we ask my handy-dandy Arc-Phone?" Lego asked Rei, which drew a confused "Huh?" from his babysitters, before Lego pulled out the Arc-Phone and it turned on. "Alright… Kleavor, so that's our target. Next we need a Location and a Distortion…"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Akari questioned.

"What's the name of that giant tree over there?" Lego asked Rei and Akari as he pointed to the giant tree off in the distance.

"That's… Grandtree Arena…" Rei said, looking at his map again.

"Alright, now we have the Location," Lego said. "Now we need to figure out what threw it into a frenzy."

"What the hell is that gonna do for us?!" Rei shouted at Lego.

"Nothing," Lego said to him with a look that honestly irked Rei. "We better head out though, and also probably train our Pokemon a bit if we're gonna calm it down, and potentially fight it." Lego started to walk forward with his Pokemon in tow. Rei and Akari had no choice but to follow him.

As they traveled, Lego was looking around for Pokemon. He figured his party needed training. He forgot what type Kleavor was, and also what was super effective. Lego didn't even know what Kleavor evolved from. He did vaguely remember his Dewott helping him in the battle.

Regardless, they needed to train. All of them did.

And Lego wanted his starters fully evolved.

As they traveled into the Fieldlands, the group found a wide area where a bunch of Ponyta and Rapidash were. With how late it was, Lego was impressed to see how they lit up the area.

"Wow," Lego said, impressed.

"Those Pokemon are on fire…" Akari said, worried. "Crap, do you think they'll roast us to a crisp?!"

"They're just Ponyta," Lego stated as he looked at them. "The Ponyta aren't gonna murder you or anything like that. Plus, I'm pretty sure they rely on physical attacks, so you should probably at least be able to run." Lego looked up as it was turning to night. "They illuminate the area extremely well too."

"Don't try to change the subject like that!" Rei said to Lego.

"How about you shut up before you alert all of them," Lego retorted at Rei with a glare, silencing him. "Last I checked, you want to live. So being all worried and crap is going to get you killed. And if both of you are gonna be such a fucking cowards, why don't you plan for the worst outcome and come up with a plan to counter it then, instead of quivering in fear and pissing your pants!" Lego huffed. Looking back at the Ponyta, Lego was searching amongst them for a certain one, ignoring the crack that formed on his mask.

"S-Sorry," the two Survey Corps members said.

"Regardless if you mean it or not," Lego said, a bit angry still, with it quickly subsiding, "you two also need to catch some more Pokemon. Especially if we're gonna complete the Pokedex."

"You act like it's easy," Rei said a bit quietly. Lego rolled his eyes at that.

"You have Pokemon, right?" Lego asked them. Akari and Rei nodded. "Then use your Pokemon and battle a Pokemon you want to catch, and then throw Pokeballs at it. Simple and easy as pie."

"And if we wake them all?" Rei questioned.

Lego had a mischievous look in his eyes. "Then Aqua and God will get some training in." This left his partners confused, but they decided to take his word for it.

"So which ones should we try to catch?" Akari said, as they looked at the Pokemon.

"Preferably the smaller ones, the Ponyta," Lego answered. "It'll be easier to catch them since they haven't evolved, and also because you can build a better bond with them as they probably aren't that old." The two accepted his words of advice, and they went to go catch some Ponyta.

As they got closer, something had noticeably caught Akari's eye. "What in the world…?" The two boys turned to look at the only female member of their group, wondering why she said what she said, before they saw a Ponyta with a different color fiery mane. "Why is that one different?"

"Alright, that's our new target," Lego stated as he pointed at it.

"How come?" Rei asked.

"That's a Shiny Pokemon! Those things are rare!" Lego said. "We have to catch it!"

"O-Okay?" They didn't quite understand, but if Lego thought it was worth it, then catching it would probably be a good idea. Plus, it would help when compiling the Pokedex.

Carefully making their way through the herd of Ponyta to the Shiny one, Akari got a Pokeball ready. She was nervous. She started to have flashbacks to when she was put in the hospital wing. This time, she might get burned… She was scared of that. Her left arm was still a bit numb from the Thunder Shock she had received.

"Go for it," Lego said to Akari. "It's now or never."

Akari nodded as she took a few deep breaths… before chucking the Pokeball at the Shiny Ponyta. Lego got Aqua's Pokeball ready, in case he needed to fight, but said caution wasn't needed, as after three shakes, a small firework shot out from the top of the Pokeball, indicating Akari caught the Ponyta.

"I… I did it?" Akari questioned, shocked.

"Yeah, you did," Lego said. "Good job. Now let's get out of here." Akari (who now held her Shiny Ponyta's Pokeball) and Rei, both nodded. As they walked from whence they came, Rei had accidentally stepped on a branch, and it made a loud cracking sound, which made Akari, Rei, and Lego freeze, before a good portion of the Pokemon they were in the middle of turned to look at them, as well as wake up. "...shit."

As a Rapidash stood up, the three saw it was a very large Rapidash, with glowing red eyes, indicating it was an Alpha, and it roared, intent on attacking them. "RUN FOR IT!" Lego shouted, before the three proceeded to run, with the Alpha Rapidash chasing them. "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"

"WHAT HAPPENED TO FIGHTING BACK?!" Rei shouted at Lego.

"AGAINST AN ALPHA, IT'D BE SUICIDE FOR MY POKEMON!" Lego yelled back. "KYOKA HAS A CHANCE, BUT NOT A GOOD ONE!"

Their running proved to be very ineffective as the Alpha Rapidash caught up to them quickly, and leapt into the air, before starting to spin, using Flame Wheel, intent on hitting Rei and taking him out.

"Shit!" Lego shouted. "Get down!" He then tackled Rei to the ground, both narrowly avoiding the Flame Wheel attack, with Akari quickly coming to a quick stop right beside them. They quickly got up, with Lego making the mistake of looking and seeing that the Rapidash had destroyed a tree, which was now on fire. Lego didn't like the sight, and merely said, "Shit."

Upon hearing the roar of the Rapidash, they began to run again. 'Damn it, we're not gonna get far at this rate,' Lego thought to himself. 'This is nothing like the games! And we're sitting ducks here!' Lego balled his hands into fists as he ran, annoyed at the nerfing he received.

Flashback

Lego looked up at the sky, and sat up, before realizing he was on a beach. He looked around. There was a small dock, a small shed, and it also looked like this place was a deserted island of sorts… maybe.

Lego sat up and dusted himself off, a bit annoyed by the fact he had sand in his hair and in his clothes now too. "Great. Just fucking great. Just wanted to clean up a little bit, and Lizzy thinks it's a great idea to push a red fucking button." Lego looked up. "Well, at least I should be able to get back soon." Preparing to fly, Lego then jumped into the air and hovered for a moment, before he ascended maybe two inches before he fell back to the sandy beach, and went silent.

"SON OF A BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH!" He shouted, realizing exactly what happened. "I'VE BEEN NERFED!"

The Present

Sadly the group had run into a dead end at that moment, said dead end ending up being a river. "Alright, now we just gotta swim!" Lego shouted.

"Swim?!" Akari and Rei questioned.

"Please don't tell me you two don't know how to swim," Lego said, before they both nodded.

"Th-That, and the uniforms make it harder to swim too," Rei said nervously, before nervously laughing as well.

They were all silenced as they heard the neighing of the Alpha Rapidash, having caught up to them. They turned to look at it, with it slowly edging forward, knowing they had been caught, and had nowhere to run.

"R-Rei, I-I don't wanna diiiiiiiie!" Akari cried, starting to cry while hugging him. He could merely only hug her close, and close his eyes.

Lego looked at them. "..." He turned back to the Rapidash. 'I need to bluff convincingly… maybe I can get it away…'

Lego took a deep breath at that thought, before holding up one of his hands, his open palm facing the Rapidash. "You don't want to do this," he stated, before there was a sudden crackling sound. Rei and Akari opened their eyes to look at Lego, his back to them.

The Rapidash's eyes widened, seeing a ball of light appear in front of Lego's hand, said ball crackling as it formed. "This attack," Lego began, taking on the voice of a certain prince of all Saiyans, "will blow you to smithereens!" A gust of wind appeared, and the air seemed to be blowing away from Lego. The ball of light in his hands crackled more, growing to be around the size of a basketball.

Seeing as Lego had made a clear threat, and not knowing the properties of Lego's attack which shocked and confused the Alpha Rapidash, it fled, heading back to its herd, leaving them alone.

Lego let out a sigh of relief, the ball dissipating and he fell to his knees. "Shit," he said, before slouching over, putting his hands on the grass. "Didn't expect that…"

Out of context, such a feat would be impossible. But the context was that Lego didn't exactly come from this world, and in the other stories of his, a simple attack like Vegeta's Atomic Blast, which was what he was mimicking, was easy for him to use.

As he got to his feet, Rei and Akari looked at Lego in shock. "Wh-What the hell?" Rei questioned. Lego turned to look at the two of them. "What did you just do?"

"Bluff harder than you'd imagine," he said simply. "And before you ask… no, it wasn't going to actually do anything. The attack probably would've just touched the Rapidash, maybe tickling it at best." This shocked Rei and Akari, who were confused about what Lego did. They began to wonder… if he really was something out of the ordinary. "...what I'm going to explain stays between the three of us, okay?" They both nodded, and proceeded to set up camp.

"So you… actually had powers?" Rei recapped simply, looking at Lego as they ate dinner. Their Pokemon were eating too, with Lego learning that Rei had a Pikachu, and Akari had a Mime Jr. (as well as the Shiny Ponyta, who didn't even attempt to run away, oddly enough).

"Correct," Lego said. "When I woke up here, I had attempted to fly away. I barely hovered off the ground. In a sense, I've been nerfed. If I had my full abilities, I would be out of here faster than you can say 'Pokemon, gotta catch 'em all'."

"O-...kay?" That confused Rei and Akari, but after what Lego had demonstrated back there, they knew he wasn't kidding.

"I think it's for the best that we don't talk about what happened," Lego told them both. "I'd understand if you both have questions, but right now, it's not a good time for them. And honestly, I think it's best if we worry about Kleavor. That's our mission objective."

"Alright," Akari said, finishing her portion of the curry that she had made. "...thank you."

"It was a gamble, and I just managed to win it," Lego said simply. He finished his portion as well, before standing up, wiping his mouth, and putting his mask back on his mouth (as it was resting on the upper portion of his face while he ate). "Alright, I'll see you all later. Goodnight."

Heading into the tent that he had since they were camping out for the sake of the mission, his Pokemon followed him, intending on sleeping close to their trainer.

"He's… different," Rei said to his girlfriend, who merely leaned close to him.

"Do you think he has bad intentions?" Akari asked.

"I'm not sure… He saved my life though, so I'll give him that…" Rei looked down at the empty wooden bowl he had in his hands. "...to think, he was bluffing and demonstrating a foreign power just to protect us…"

"From another world," Akari added.

"We should get some sleep," Rei said. "We do need to find Kleavor still…" Akari nodded, before they went to their own tent after recalling their Pokemon to their Pokeballs, and heading to bed.

The flashback sequence was actually from a small prequel chapter that takes place in my Story Mishaps fic, which is just for random crap, which included a small prequel chapter, explaining how I, Lego, got isekai'd here. I don't intend on making this superpower shit happen every other chapter and intend on keeping it to a minimum, so don't think that I'm just gonna make myself overpowered in this story.

The Shiny Ponyta is actually meant to be a nod to the Side Quest in Legends: Arceus where you find the guaranteed Shiny Ponyta, and so I thought that Akari should be the one to catch it.

For the choices of Akari having a Mime Jr. and Rei having a Pikachu, I'll get to them later on. For now, I'mma say that I'll see you all next chapter, where the Diamond Clan's Warden makes her first appearance.

Until then, see you all soon, and tell me in the reviews what you thought of the chapter, and potential ways to improve this story.
