Ozpin, well Ozma is a man who continuously reincarnates as such he is the most aware of Remnant's history.
A lot has changed since the original coming of man, the loss of magic for one. But manifestations such as the existence of Faunus came to be, this along with Aura and semblances.
Amongst those who unlock their semblances certain abilities known as Kekkei genkai come to be, this or the soul of a person from an alternate reality.
These people have fought in both his side and Salem's side of the never ending war. He has met multiple souls from the so called "Shinobi World" each differing from one another, as such he has vast knowledge about their original world. As well as their abilities known as "Jutsu".
These people were more common 4,000 years ago but these days he's lucky to encounter 5 or 6 in a lifetime. These people are ones that he considers valuable, strong tools for his war against the Grimm.
This year a single team contains two of them. A boy with another soul, Lie Ren. A teen who awakened the sharingan, Jaune Arc.
Two such individuals that he can use as the knights for his chess board.
"Glynda, Call onto the students on this year's list. Oh and Bartolomew as well, I'm sure he'd love to teach Jutsu 101 this year."
"Right away." Glynda responded before moving out of the office.
The two male members of team JNPR were taken to the office along with a member of team RWBY, Ruby Rose.
The three students each sat next to each other on office chairs prepared by Miss Goodwitch. A long discussion would soon present itself.
"As the three of you may already know, each of you have abilities that are not open to the public."
He stood up. "From Mr. Arc's Sharingan, to Miss Rose's Silver Eyes.
Tell me children, what's your favorite fairy tale?"
The discussion began, giving everyone access to videos of how their abilities should work. Along with the history of the world, though Ozpin took great care not to mention anything about Salem and her circle.
Jaune felt that the headmaster was hiding something. 'Don't show all your cards.' He thought to himself omitting his system from his explanations. Telling the professor about the incident at the town of Ansel all those years ago.
"I see, well those who unlock Chakra come in two distinct types. The first being those who simply unlock a kekkei genkai. With no access to a spirit learning is a bit more hands-on no matter though, you have come to the right place.
Dr. Oobleck will be teaching both of you about the usage of Chakra. Though your mastery of chakra control on the body is quite impressive Lie Ren"
"My mentor has taught me multiple things sir, though my knowledge in Jutsu is fairly lacking my Martial arts and Taijutsu are at a level that I am proud of."
"Indeed, Ms. Rose your mentor will arrive at the end of the week. All of you will be having special classes every Saturday. Along with supplementary lessons with Ms. Goodwitch to test your abilities"
After about half an hour later the group moved to join their teams. Their training is to remain a secret, only informing their team mates of "Apprenticeship Requirements".
'Ren, your Chakra control is at a much higher level that what I had. You can surpass me. You need to remember this, physical training is priority but memorize all of the jutsus that you have access to.'
Ren can be seen at a hidden training ground. His well practiced hand-signs ended as he placed his palms to the ground.
"Earth Style: Earth Wall"
A massive wall made out of dirt appeared in front of him.
'Nicely done!' Guy, his original mentor, praised his stoic student.
"Great work, your hand signs are getting faster. That is a good sign. Remember Ren, your basic nature transformations are going to be your bread and butter.
It's good to have a large arsenal of tools. Keep to it, I have a new notebook filled with Earth and Water style techniques for you to test out. See to it that you read them later." Oobleck, a Professor at beacon. Jutsu 101 professor and the vessel of a powerful shinobi.
He loves history and is a man who found joy in research. Which is why he loves teaching jutsus. He researched and compiled books about the subject, experimenting with different nature transformations along with hand seals whenever he had the time.
"Now Mr. Arc, which jutsus have you decided on copying this week?"
"I have a list sir, they are mostly advanced ones."
Over the course of their 1st month. Jaune and Ren have learned multiple jutsus as well as techniques that can aid them in combat.
"I'm still trying to get enough speed for the Chidori but my Fire and Wind Release techniques have been progressing at a good pace sir."
"If speed is what you need Mr. Arc then might I suggest wearing weights? "
Jutsus boosted his skills by a lot, at this point he doesn't even want to use dust anymore.
The two boys headed back to team JNPR's bedroom only to see that team RWBY was also present in the area. "Rennyyyyy it's a sleep over!"
'Hahaha REST IS FOR THE WEAK MY PUPIL!' Ren inwardly sighed. He looked at his leader and was relieved that he wasn't the only one that's not up for such a task.
Jaune sat in between Pyrrha and Yang. Pyrrha has been getting 1-upped by Yang lately, due to Yang's more open and obvious crush on Jaune.
"So spin the bottle?" Weiss was hiding her excitement. She has never been the type to engage in these kinds of activities.
"Eyup! Allow me" Ruby spun the bottle.
It pointed at Ren. "Truth or Dare?"
'This is going to be a long night.'
Ren had a long night ahead.
Sundays.
For most students this is the time to rest, for most of teams RWBY and JNPR it's the time to watch their friends play basketball. The only ones missing are Weiss and Blake, Nora was there to cheer on Ren while Yang and Pyrrha were there to watch Jaune. Ruby's just happy to hang out with her friends.
Cardin can be seen holding back the giant that is Yatsuhashi. Steadily watching the post.
"Ren!" Jaune called out as he sent a perfect pass to his team mate.
Ren caught the ball and went up for a perfected form three point shot.
"Go Renny!"
The ball went in and the ball is on Fox's hands now. The opposing point guard. He knew he couldn't pass through Jaune's defense so he passed it immediately.
Right onto Yatsuhashi who Cardin was currently guarding. He jumped readying a two-handed dunk, which forced Cardin back.
"LET'S GO YATSU!" It was a rabbit-eared faunus that they have befriended. A member of team CFVY.
Jaune held the ball again, not wanting to be passed up he decided to end it there. "Didn't you know Yatsu?"
"Ahh fuck" as if used to the younger man's words.
"That when it comes to basketball"
"We get it Jaune, You're absolute just fuckin play bro" much like everyone else Cardin was tired of Jaune's shit whenever they played.
It seems like everytime he says those words, the whole game changes. "I am absolute!"
"91 - 82"
"By the Gods Arc, I swear whenever you get serious basketball just gets even more fun!" Yatsu ruffled the younger man's head.
As Pyrrha helped Jaune out by wiping his sweat off for him, Yang brought out a sports drink and gave it to him.
"So Red-eyes!"
"Yes, Yang?"
"You, Me. Dinner later?"
"Uhuh just the two of us?"
"Yup, it's a date then!" She playfully whispered in to his right ear before leaving the scene.
A visibly upset Pyrrha watched the blonde one-up her. 'This isn't over' She thought to herself.
"Ahh yes Mr. Arc. I assume that you have read the book."
"Yes sir, the evolution of the sharingan?"
"Indeed, the requirements for it are quite hard to find. I have caught wind that the second half of it is within an area up north.
This is the first half"
The professor injected chakra into Jaune's heart.

Not to worry, Mr. Yatsuhashi is also a Jutsu practitioner with knowledge of your circumstances. Team CFVY is also well informed about the intricacies of chakra.

The more advanced students often get missions presented to them. Among the first years Team RWBY and JNPR are currently distinguished as the best.
They gained the privilege to go on missions 3 months early.
As Jaune left the room a small crow perched on Ozpin's desk. "See to it that our Assets are safe."
The crow nodded before taking off into the window.
The Mission takes place 2-3 months after Initiation.
