At that, I couldn't help but give him an innocent smile.

Shaking away my thoughts, I asked President Horikita,

Saying that, he handed me some documents, which contained detailed explanation about the rules and duties of being a Student Council Member.

Shaking my hand with him, I couldn't help but add.

"I have changed my opinion of you. Looks like you will be a good boss in the future. It will be nice to work with you, President Manabu Horikita."

"Likewise. You will be reporting here from tomorrow. The timing is mentioned in the document. If you have any trouble, ask Tachibana, the First Secretary."

"Yes sir!"

"Now you may leave."

With that, I left the room and proceeded to walk towards the main room, where Nagumo and Secretary-chan were having some snacks. Seeing me return so fast, they had curious expressions on their faces.

"How did it go Suzuki-chan?"

Secretary-chan asked with concern.

"It went well. I, 2nd Secretary Yui Suzuki will be in your care from now on 1st Secretary Tachibana-chan and Vice-President Nagumo-kun! "

For some reason, Secretary-chan seemed to be on cloud nine and hugged me.

"Yay! Finally my workload will decrease!"

Now, I was having my doubts about Horikita's decision to make me a secretary. Is he a tsundere for Secretary-chan and is indirectly helping her? No way. I have seen a little too much boss-secretary romance drama.

Nagumo approached me for shaking hands, with which I complied.

"I will be in your care Secretary Yui Suzuki."

There was this glimmer in his eyes. Was it... amusement?

Then my gaze suddenly fell on the wall clock. 6:20 PM. Crap! My date start time only has 40mins left!

"Umm, if you both will excuse me. I have an urgent appointment coming up. Bye!"

And off I went without waiting for any reply. My heart was going doki doki! It will be my first ever date in both of my lives! I wasn't nervous even when meeting the Prime Minister! So why am already this nervous because of an ordinary date!
