Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Snow-White Hearts. Enjoy the 4000-word chapter. I don't own RvB, Rooster Teeth does.
Carolina looked around as she stared at her surroundings. It had been a few days since the mission, since her departure to the other enemy… Since her failure.
She hated the woman who had defeated her. They had shown her up and made her look bad to everyone and everyone.
She wished she could give them a piece of her mind. A piece that had given them far too many problems. This wasn't going to be fun enough for her, nor fun as of the second. This would be a long day.
This hadn't been what she wished for. Someone who was this good to just show up? Who the hell had they been, and where had they come from when it came down to it? They had so much on their plate and now? She had been a lot harder on herself when it came to this.
"Why the hell had it been now? Why did she need to show up at the moment? Why would it go this way when it comes down to it?" Carolina asked before she raised an eyebrow at herself.
She rubbed at her temples and start to glance around the room. This place had been something else.
"I thought he said I'd be moved down the leaderboard. Why the hell did I get moved down?" Carolina questioned before she raised an eyebrow. "If she's supposed to be so strong at the time? Why hadn't she shown up before now? Where the hell did, she comes from if she's so powerful?" Carolina questioned herself.
Still? if this was going to be harder on anyone? Why the hell hadn't they all formed a team? They'd need a united front if they were going to win this at the end of the day when it came down to it. this was going to end at the second…. Even if they had to rip it all apart slowly.
Still? There was more to be done when it came down to it. there was so much more to this, so much to be done at the end of the day. he'd be a lot happier as of the time.
There was so damn much to see and do before all was said and done, so much more to be done, and yet? They'd hidden this from her when she didn't need it. there were more problems with this before now.
She didn't want problems; she didn't want anything as of the moment when it came down to it. there was so much on her plate. The last thing she wanted was more of it at the time. still? she'd play the hand she'd been given for the time being.
The director slowly started to walk around the room, interested in what was coming next. There was oh so to be done and they couldn't afford to be on this delay. They had to be quick, and decisive, even cutting down what had been in the way of anything else. There was a lot more to do when it came down to it.
There was to be a lot more when it came down to it. He looked at the woman who stood in front of him.
"The only reason she was called in was that the asset was vital to the plans we have at the end of the day. This cannot be said or done before now." The director stated before this came down to it.
He had a lot more of the second. This had a lot more to question when it came down to it.
"We cannot handle this. We cannot afford setbacks, even if it means not telling the truth as of the second." Carolina said before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
There was so much to do at the end of the day before it'd be coming around sooner rather than later. There was a lot more to be done, a lot more to say and do next. This had to be done. It'd not be over until he said so. Even when there was so much to do when it came down to it.
Carolina questioned what to do. She didn't know what her commander had done and what he wished to do at the moment. Something had to be done before long or else this wouldn't yet last as of the time being.
He had been perhaps curious as of the time being when it was done before now. She had been a lot more to now as of the time.
What had Carolina stood to win or lose before now? She knew for a fact that this had been something fun when all was said and done for the time being. This had been something she didn't know at the end of the day and she knew that. Whatever had been coming was slowly starting to fade away.
Still? if there was even the smallest chance that she could turn this around before now? Well? She'd find a way before now. This had been a lot nicer when it came down to it. She had been a lot more to question at the time.
Whatever had been coming down to it? this was the last thing they wanted to say or do for the time being.
"So. He's a cocky jackass? Gee, that hadn't at all been like someone whom that we knew." She heard as she turned to the side.
There was so much to start to think about for the time being. Carolina questioned before now. Carolina rolled her eyes at her friend before planting her hands on her hips. She knew Vermont for the time being now as of the time.
"What are you going to do next?" Carolina questioned as she raised her eyebrows under her armor. "Vermont is a soldier. He knows how to handle the enemy as of the time." Carolina stated while she leaned on the wall.
Carolina was a lot more curious about what the soldier was doing here. The time spent on other missions before now had made him a powerful warrior… But if he was here? Well? She knew more than anything that he was still here for the time being.
Still? Whatever had brought him to this planet? Well, she'd find out what had become of him to end up in this place for the time being. She also just expected it to take a few times to get into his mind and find out what had become of him as of the second. What little control she had time over this idea had made her cautious as of the time being.
"I don't think he's going to talk the same way you expect him to be." Church stated before he hummed and he cracked her fingers. "We both know for a fact we're busy for the time being. This will be a lot more interesting as time. There are a lot more of those pirates hunting us down… Don't think we should be dealing with the washed-up freelancer." Church put in.
This had been something that needed to be dealt with properly when it had all been done.
Still? She knew more than anything that this had been done and dusted. It had been something fun for the time being. She had to be done as of now.
(Several years ago)
Carolina dodged a kick from one of the others before catching a punch from CT. she floored the younger and smaller freelancer with a single hit as he seemed to find the idea of them. It was to be an odd little thing, an odd point of contention for now.
Vermont emerged with a series of shots from his DMR as she rolled around and tried to launch a roundhouse kick which was blocked before he somersaulted away to allow Maine to land a lot more to handle before as of now.
She slid backward as he turned to look at the rest of the other soldiers who all surrounded her. All of the main freelancer's vs her as training? Well, that was just another one of the tests before now.
Still? there was a lot more to question because this had been said and done. It needed to end before it was all said and done. It was more to happen as of now. It was a lot more to question before now. It was an odd little more to question as of now.
Carolina flipped around both Freelancers as he turned and seemed to be as of now. She had surprised him when it came to the soldier at the end of the day. It had been something before now. still? Whatever came next was to happen before it was oddly questioned before now when it seemed to come next to happen before now.
She backed him down before she turned to look for the time being as of now. This was honestly weird to question before it came down to this. South and North seemed to approach before this was all done and dusted.
North fired a bullet at the soldier before she seemed to flip to the side. She had watched the others while she seemed to oddly think of what to do before now. It was oddly to happen next when
"Seriously, is this even slightly fair?" Vermont questioned and sighed before he tilted his head while all of this was done and dusted.
Carolina watched as South and Maine threw themselves at her as she knocked both of them backward with a roundhouse kick. The soldier was thrown to the ground before she seemed to oddly question what to do next. It was oddly something fun when this was odd as of now.
Both Carolina and her AI seemed to backpedal as of now. It had been something oddly questioning what to do next. The brawl had a lot more to handle before now was as of now. She was a lot more curious as to how this soldier was before now. It had been oddly thrown as of now. She had been oddly interested in what was to come next when it was to be something amazing at the
She knew more than he what was coming when it seemed to be focusing on when all of this was going to be prepared for now. What he seemed to be questioning was a nightmare, it just existed and had yet to properly condemn himself to the nightmare that had yet to be done for now, what would be done soon, how this problem was going to handle itself, how it would be and how to properly compete with what was coming, the only idea being he had little to no idea what would be done.
Carolina was an odd soldier, someone who constantly focused on the larger details but chafed on knowing stuff outside of their wheelhouse like this, something so out of preparation that it made her want to be and wouldn't be so deeply done with, there was a lot more to focus on anyway and so little for him to do, to say, to be involved, their problems had just been beginning after all and there was little in the way of their problems.
There was a lot more to their game than had been seen anyway and something like this would only strengthen her resolve, only make it come down to the wire. There was so much Carolina could have done and dusted at the moment. It was all too much more for now. He sighed to question for now. He hummed before he sighed as of now. He questioned what to do next. There were always factors he didn't consider with her. Carolina was all too prepared for a frontal attack and one from the back still meant he had to distract her enough to get behind her. Not impossible, no, but it was a lot easier said than done when all of this came to shove.
He sighed, looking around as he hummed, looking around as he did so. There was so much more upon which she could have done to have fixed this, the proper idea just made her sigh, looking around as she did so. There was a lot more to focus upon for now. This didn't at all seem as if there was more to question now.
He cracked his fingers and sprung to his feet, looking at her with a sigh as he did so. There was more to this battle, a lot more that couldn't be understated. He yawned, rubbing at his temples. He hummed and looked up at the ceiling.
There was more as of now. he didn't know what she could have done. He hummed to himself, rubbing at his temples while he looked around, unsure, uncertain, not willing to let her win.
He met her with another dropkick, knocking her to the ground before he hummed, looking up at her before she caught his foot and then flipped into the air before slowly starting to fall downwards, there was almost nothing else preventing her from getting where she had to go next. Nothing at all stopping her, nope. This only stopped before now. This wouldn't become easier, but it would become fun.
He blocked a flying kick, slamming her other foot to the ground as he gripped her right arm, applying pressure as if to grapple and break it, there was more on the mind, he didn't know what it might bring.
She applied pressure in return, using her free leg to constrict his throat as the two freelancers grappled with one another, trying as if he hadn't been focused more on this than she wanted.
"For the love of God, either make out screw or kill each other!" Both heard as Vermont managed to throw her to the side, unsure of what she'd do if he pushed her to the edge.
This wasn't something he could just focus upon easily, not something he could have questioned, for now, he didn't know what else may or may not come. They had so much damn work to do at the end of the day that it boggled their damn minds. It was terrifying
He sighed, cracking his fingers before he looked up at the ceiling. He didn't know what to question before now. There was a lot more for now. He didn't know what to question now. he didn't entirely know what the plan was… But he didn't exactly care. It was fun, it was going to be exciting until the end of time when all of it was over.
He dodged a punch that could and probably would have cratered the wall behind him if he hadn't moved for now. It'd have been so much of an impossible thing that it almost made him laugh, if not for the fact that she was just that unwilling.
She flipped and kicked him backward, sending him skidding along the ground as he did so. It made him pivot and turn back towards her, eager for another fight, she had been pushing him more and more in this fight, and now? Well, it was going to be one for the history books.
She caught a kick before she slammed into him only for Vermont to flip around, throwing her backward and into the wall as he did so. The issue only made him laugh to pieces as he did so.
He smirked at the fact that she was fighting as well as she had before. It told him all he had to get to. They had the battle to get to anyway.
She locked arms with him as he flipped to the side, taking her with him and throwing her to the side as he did so. He rolled along the ground, glancing at her with interest as he knew that she was too dangerous to take lightly. It had to be done now or else. They had to be ready for anything and everything at the same time. nothing else could be lost or even given away for the time being. It just wouldn't have worked for now, not at all for now. They had to be ready for anything.
She swung a kick which almost smashed him into the ground as he dodged out of the way. He almost crushed the metal under him as he did so, rolling along the ground as she threw her weight at him.
He spun and kicked out her legs, throwing her to the ground and making him raise an eyebrow under his armor as he did so. He hadn't yet gotten where it should have been. He was a lot worse in that condition. There are a lot worse problems to have gotten into such a thing.
He swept her legs out before gripping her left leg and wrenching it as far to the side as it would go. She responded by launching a tornado kick which he blocked with his right arm, gripping her foot under his right arm.
He flipped her to the side as she cartwheeled away, throwing herself to the ground as Vermont settled into a fighting stance against her.
"You know, if you focused half as much upon such a thing as which kicks you tried? You might have gotten me there… You're slipping just a smidge, Carolina." Vermont said before he was forced to leap backward as she swung a kick at him.
She watched her eyes blaze with anticipation. The others picked themselves up off the ground with amusement as they watched the two begin to fight anew, it only told them so much about the current situation that it was bugging them more and more.
They let out snorts of annoyance as they looked at the two who had begun to fight anew. All it told him was that this fight was a LOT worse than before. They both were just a lot more to have gotten where it should have been. All he knew was just how odd and thrown off this battle had been as she tried a punch that was dodged to such a degree that it tossed him backward as it did so. This stunk of a horrible sense of amusement in his movements. It was almost like he hadn't found anything worth a damn here to have begun with such a thing. There would have been no such problems that had become worse and worse.
Yes, such problems had become complacent and outright maddening to her. If they still kept going? Well, it'd be something they could only dream of being around.
"What are you going to do next?" Carolina asked as Vermont seemed to find some sort of amusement in these sorts of things.
"We still have a mission to do and if someone doesn't get it done? We're going to die." Vermont heard as he shook his head.
"And how is that any different than what normally happens next?" Vermont questioned to which Carolina shook her head.
"Very funny, Vermont," Carolina said as she rested next to him.
"What are you even doing here when it comes down to it?" Vermont questioned to which she seemed to roll her eyes at him before she sighed.
"I'm not even sure. I was busy dealing with Charon and got dragged downwards when it came down to it." Carolina stated to which there was a raised eyebrow.
"Then why are you here if you don't even want to do anything? I'm here to hunt these SOBS and yet I don't know what they are doing yet." Vermont stated while he looked at her.
"If you don't know what they're up to? Then why are you here either?" Carolina asked to which he shrugged.
"Don't know, maybe that's one of the great mysteries in life we don't at all understand, it's odd like that, isn't it?" Vermont questioned to which she could only sigh.
He was always like this. He was always constantly trying to push her buttons when it was all over. He seemed to have questioned for now. There was a lot more to have to get done and they just couldn't wait to get to that part of the damn road.
He easily knocked her to the side, only to be met with another kick as the woman flipped to her feet and knocked down York with a punch. Vermont flipped to his feet and caught one of her kicks before he kicked her back.
Carolina blinked as the two looked at one another, Vermont clenched his fists at her while she raised her hands.
"You can give up, you know… None of you have beaten me before." Carolina said as there were several snorts.
"I think all of us have some anger issues we're working through, C," Vermont said before he rushed forwards at her with such power that it almost seemed as if he was to be amused.
He was, honestly. Carolina was massively cocky, but it wasn't like it was without good reason and he knew it… He knew it more than likely was simply out of the desire to see her not crash it down to the ground. She was beyond peeved but then again? When was she not? It was simply part of what had to have been done.
He slammed into her as he shook his head before he looked up into the sky. He hadn't yet seemed to have to question how long this was going to go, but he was unwilling to see it end anyway else.
Carolina tried to kick Vermont only for him to send her back with a punch before he flipped into the air and dropkicked her to the ground. Vermont landed in a crouch before he looked down at her with clear interest, she turned and flipped to her feet, throwing a roundhouse which tossed him to the ground.
He sighed before he looked at her, clearly pondering what she'd do if she was stopped. He blocked her next kick before he smashed his head into her stomach, throwing her backward while he sighed to himself.
She tried to launch another kick as he blocked her foot. Carolina only made him laugh as he slid backward, clearly more inconvenienced than hurt.
"Agents? This match is over. You've done well, all of you." Carolina and Vermont heard to which they stopped. "I expect all of you to look at this incident and make calls as to how this was going to be," Carolina stated before he sighed and looked around the room.
Carolina which was all too much focused upon which meant that they seemed to have gotten over it. This wasn't a weird measure to have to question.
Still? They had something else upon his mind which meant he had more to focus upon. He didn't know what their next move was going to be. He didn't wish to know; it was something he shouldn't have known.
He didn't at all know their move and he didn't know what the move was, they had been soldiers in combat. This wasn't going to be an odd thing, but it would be something that he could have handled for the time being.
It wasn't to be worse and worse for now what to do as Carolina she seemed to have to do next before now what to next as to which she seemed to be found. She wasn't going to have been in the proper action.
