Issue #5: LexCorp Takeover

Robin, Kid Flash, Sun, Scarlet, Neptune, Sage and Weiss, and Jaune were trapped in a technological bubble by the White Fang in their submarine after the ringleader stole the Moon Ruby June was trapped in.

"Why is this happening?! What did they want?!" Jaune shrieked.

"Calm down, blonde boy. We have other plans for you and your troublesome friends. As long as we have the ruby, we don't care what happens next." Said the Ringleader.

"This is unlikely that you were working with someone. Who was it that sent you?" Sage asked.

"The one who will reset the universes. We were promised a world and empire where the faunus will never again be treated like animals. One where humans will bow before us like countless others before you all."

Then the leader turned to Sun. "And you." Sun looked at the leader with confusion of why he was referring to him. "Don't worry, we have big plans for you since you're one of us."

"Like hell I'm one of you mask wearing jerks!" Sun rerouted. "I may be a faunus, but I am not some terrorist cultists like you! Just so you know, I am not betraying my friends!"

"You'll change your mind soon enough. Set coordinates to Gotham City! Wherever that is."

"What was that all about? The White Fang and all that stuff?" Kid Flash asked.

"Oh, those creeps? They're an organization called the White Fang, you can tell because of the mask they're wearing. Like me, they are a species called the faunus, half-human, half-animal. Sure we're discriminated by the humans, they used to be a civil protest organization, but turned terrorist as a means to bring the human race to live in fear." Sun explains. "I never join them cause I don't agree with the fact that they used dominance to demand equality. It even caused more harm to both races than it already had."

"Wow, that sounds rough, buddy." Robin said. Weiss then cuts in. "Um, Sun. I hate to interrupt, but who are these children wearing a mask?" Robin and Kid Flash became offended when being undermined by the heiress. "Hey, we're no older than you guys are!" Kid Flash stated.

"Sorry, but still, who are you guys?" Jaune asked.

"I'm Robin and that's Kid Flash. Sorry, but we cannot reveal our secret identities." Robin introduced himself and his friend.

"Um, those are your names?"

"But we're best of the best. If you asked me." Kid Flash winked at Weiss. But she is not bothered as she rolled her eyes and pushed him away. "Not gonna happened." Weiss scoffed.

Kid Flash frowned. Jaune then whispered to him. "Trust me, you're not the only one dealing with rejection." Kid Flash nods. Weiss then spoke. "Weiss Schnee, heiress of the Schnee Dust Company, you already met Sun and Neptune."

"Don't worry, Snow Angel. What happens next, I got your back." Neptune assured Weiss. Weiss stared at him, not opposing his smooth voice. "Neptune..." She said, blushing. Much to Jaune and Kid Flash's dismay. Weiss remained frozen at his words.

"Ahem, with that aside. Jaune Arc, you could say I am from a family of warriors." Said Jaune.

"Sage Ayana..." Kid Flash interrupts to bring up the fact that he has a giant sword. "Dude, I saw your blade and it was huge! Did it take a lot of work to lift it?! It's like Sword Art Online series!" Kid Flash gasped.

"Um...you can say that." Sage replied.

"Scarlet David. And don't let Sun give any ideas in your head." Scarlet said.

"Hey!"

"Nice to meet you guys. Also where we're from, Rob and I are superheroes from another world." Kid Flash explains. The group stopped for a moment before Weiss and Scarlet burst out laughing, not believing them at first. Sage facepalms himself, and Jaune stared at the younger teenagers in amazement.

"Oh sure, and I am a spy!" Weiss laughed. Not believing the story at first. "Kids today really read too many comics book!"

"Um, Weiss, you do realized our semblances are kinda like superpowers. And huntsmen are basically superheroes." Jaune points out. Robin and Kid Flash smirked that someone agrees with them. "Oh!" Robin started.

"Burned!" Kid Flash joined.

"But, I once donned a superhero persona." Jaune backs the two boys.

"Says the guy who took someone else's weapons without permission." Sage points out. Jaune's eyes widened that someone else found out. "Wait, how did you know?" Asked Jaune.

"Okay, so you two are from another world, I'll buy." Sage said. Seemingly believing the two boys.

"Thank you! At least someone is finally believing us." Kid Flash whooped.

-In the Mirrorverse-

Mera combined her magic with Zatara's to escape the mirror dimension. The Justice League and the Huntsmen stood back forming a circle. "Esealer morf eht rorrim!" Zatara changed his spell. Zapping the residue on the mirror that was the key to their exit.

Only for the spell to zap on everyone. Once the spell failed. They all feel distorted at first. But once they recovered, Mera noticed her husband looking a bit younger. "Orin! You looked younger!"

"So were you!" Aquaman adds. Then the others noticed that they were feeling a bit younger. For Flash, mostly energetic. "That's weird, I feel young again! Wah-hoo!" He whooped speeding off to who knows where.

"Yeah, you do realized he can't find an exit?" Hal said.

"Oh. My. God!" Taiyang shouted, he looked like a 17-year-old version of himself. Looking through his prisms. Zatara no longer has a goatee, and looked young and fresh. "Oh no, the dimension must've have an aging effect!"

"Now I am starting to know how Superboy feels about capes and tights." Superman noted, seeing himself at a reflection of the prism and forgotten what he had looked like as a teenager. Now it felt like he was looking at Superboy instead of himself.

"It feels like fighting against the Queen of Fables all over again. It's like Hila is becoming the Sea Witch in the fairy tales." Mera makes a reference. "Come to think of it, her magic is far more darker than her usual magic."

"Well, your friend's tactic to send the mirror trapping your evil twin inside had got us into this mess." Qrow glared at Zatara. While taking a sip in his alcohol.

"How about you stop getting drunk all the time and focus on the situation?!" Batman shot at Qrow.

"Hey, you're one to talk. Let me remind you that I'm a role model for Sanctum Academy students. And thanks to me, the students are as awesome as I am." Qrow chuckled. Having fed up with Qrow's drunken state, Batman walks up and snatched his canteen from Qrow and tossed it to another prism portal.

"Hey! That was my special shot!" Qrow shouted at Batman.

"Your alcohol blood levels of .89544 were too much. And you seemed to have a death wish. Suicidal thoughts..."

"Geez for crying out loud..." Qrow slurred as he punched Batman. And the Dark Knight fights back. Causing both sides to intervene. The Justice League got a hold of Batman, while the Huntsmen got Qrow. As both seemingly wanted to end them.

"Stop this nonsense! You're warriors, not children!" Wonder Woman shouted.

"Qrow, you really done it this time!" Taiyang shouted. Then Saturn heard his scroll vibrated. As he pulls it out while the others are working to stop the fight. "Huh, it's from Neptune."

As he opens up a notification post, he was shocked to see a post that almost made him drop his scroll. But catches it. "What?!"

"Um, what is it?" Asked Superman.

"I just got a post from my son, saying that he was captured by the White Fang!" Saturn then shows the post to the other heroes.

The post from InstaRem app with the caption:

"Captured by White Fang and taken to a submarine. Filled with Supervillains they betrayed. #SendHelp."

A picture with the caption showed Neptune. "And how on Earth did you track on your kid's social media? Most teenagers would hide it for private reasons."

"Isn't this an invasion of privacy?" Flash asked.

"Hey, when you're a father of 6, you get too worried." Then the League saw the picture and Batman and the Flash recognized the two certain teens in the picture.

"Oh, no. Was that Kid Flash?"

"And Robin."

"I taken you two know these children." Mai deduced.

"You could say they're proteges of ours.

-Back in the White Fang Submarine, and landed on an unknown island-

Robin, Sun, Weiss, Sage, Kid Flash, Neptune and Jaune were thinking of a plan to escape. "Okay, here's the plan. Sage and Jaune can break the prison bubble with their swords." Sun began.

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea." Jaune adds.

"Then, Robin and Kid Flash will make a sneak attack on some of the members and steal the uniforms for us to disguise ourselves as one of them. Then we make a move, get the ruby back, and steal an escape pod, and we're home free!"

"Great plan and all, except for one thing..." Neptune paused and began to breathe out loud. "The White Fang took our weapons!"

Robin examines the prison bubble they were stuck in. And hums as he thinks of a new way. "Dude, what are you doing?" Kid Flash asked.

"This prison, or whatever it was looks like it can be broken with a level of frequency. Well, two can play that game. Then Robin uses a small device to hack. "Dude, you hack?" Sun asked.

"That was illegal and you know it." Weiss said.

"Well, you never knew when you need that skill. You guys might want to cover your ears in 3...2...1."

-Meanwhile, back in Genoa-

Zatanna, Blake, Ruby, Artemis, Megan and Connor, Ren and Nora crash landed on the cliff of the land. And as for the Nevermore Nora used for a ride, it's dead after Nora killed it, technically. "Aw, it's broken." She said.

"You got to admit, this is fun!" Ruby shouted.

"No, it's not!" Ruby didn't listen to Artemis after seeing her bow. "Ah! Look, Blake it's a crossbow! I always wanted one of these! Gimme!" Ruby got tok excited to see an archer's bow, she began to use her semblance to take it, but Artemis dodged her to not let her take the bow. "Oh, no you don't!" Artemis runs away from Ruby.

"Maybe you should let her take a look, it will calm her down a bit." Blake suggested to Artemis. The blonde girl reluctantly does so to stop the hyperactive girl. Ruby gleefully looked at the bow. "Sorry about my leader. She does have the knowledge of weapons. If you saw her wielding a scythe, it's like her best friend." Blake said.

"Artemis. Thanks for getting us away from whatever those monsters are." She said. Ren and Conner are setting the fire. "Also, what's with a book?" Artemis asked pointing out at the book Blake was reading. "A man with two souls. It's about a man who cannot find his real identity as his two souls were in one body."

"Okay..." Artemis replied.

"Anyway, you met Blake. I'm Ruby Rose. And I also like seeing the sports of Archery. Best sports in Beacon Academy."

"Beacon Academy? That's strange, doesn't said anything about a school being called that." Conner mentioned looking through his cell phone. Then Ren came to explain.

"Actually, in our world, we are the next generation of hunters meant to hunt down criminals and monsters, like the Grimm you saw earlier. Here, these communications we have in Remnant are scrolls. It's like a cell phone, but we don't call them that anymore after the scrolls were developed."

"Yes! Marshmallows!" Nora shouted as she picked up a pack of Marshmallows. Only for Ren to take them away as she was always high on sugar. "Nora, no. You're too high on sugar." Nora crossed her arms, upset, "Aww!" Then Nora turned to Zatanna.

"So, is this true that you can do magic?! I love magic!" Nora squealed.

-5 Hours Before the Merge-

In LexCorp, Lex is giving a presentation about his World Reflect to explore other worlds (for him and the Light to take over for the very least). "And that concludes our conference. For who knows whose counterparts we ran into. Whether your personality differs. Or if you're a cop or a crook." All those present applaud.

Until a crash was heard and to Lex's horror, the wall was holed. But that's not all, a former ally from the past has arrived with darker aura. And with her was an old man, with a cybernetic eye. "Lex, darling. How wonderful it was to see you again, for the last time that is!"

"S-Siren! 15 years ago, the Justice League had trapped you in another dimension!" Lex gasped. "How did you get out after all these years?! And who is this fool?!"

"Oh, I have a little help. Merlot, dear! Whose brains surpassed yours. Attention weak, and genius humans! LexCorp is now under new management!" Siren uses her magic by using to water from the sinks, and faucets to create a protected octopus and grabbed multiple scientists. Including, Lex.

"For 15 years after you and the Light broke your promise and betrayed me. I have awaited to plunge you all to pain and death once I became Queen! You still have some use for the technology, so I'll have to spare you for now. But now this industry is mine for the taking! For universal domination!"

"Milady, this technology is fascinating. You never ceased to amaze me." Merlot speaks, and it angers Lex to see someone else touching his machines. "Hey, you get away from my machines!"

"Oh, Lex. You used to be so charming. But now let me introduce you to my new partner in crime. Meet Dr. Merlot." Siren wraps her arms around Merlot. Though he was serious, he does enjoy the attention for an old man his age. "So you think that as soon as I returned, I will forget everything that scorned me? Oh, Lex, how wrong you are? No. This time, I have someone who will rule alongside me. And together, we will crush every hero and villain that ever existed! Especially a fool of my sister and that hybrid husband of hers! Hahahah! Ahahaha! Hahahahaha!"
