-Years Later-

Some years have passed since that first meeting, now my vast knowledge has expanded to new heights. The modern language of Japan, in terms of my job, and became a "Hero". Honestly, it's not that different from my title, except now you have the whole country on your back. Or empire, I prefer to call it this way, but it's not since no one has absolute power. I was at my archeological site near Queen Kimoto's castle, uncovering more scriptures left by her.

"Morning, Endure," Someone says, walking past me.

"Good morning to you too, Ereath," I say, having a cup of tea next to me.

I found a tea that tasted the exact tea Queen Mikoto makes. I have grown fond of it more and more each time we had tea. I read the tablet I had, I like learning history and maybe even teaching it at a school. Mostly for the reason that I can understand what it felt like living back then.

"I was appointed a knight as my guard for some years beyond the years of my reign, I feel bad looking at him every time. His loyalty is strong, maybe too strong. I suppose it was my father who made a promise to him, still. I want to return the favor someday back to him, but I have to think more about it."

I finish reading, giving myself more memories of the past. Until I heard someone calling my name, I walked out of the tent to see who it was. It was a man, holding one of my colleagues hostage. I don't know how he got here, but he's calling me out to make some type of negotiation.

"Perfect, I knew you would be here. Now it's my chance!" He says, instantly dropping him and coming after me.

He had blades on his forearm, laughing hysterically as he leaped towards me. I lightly punched him into the mountain, and he spewed out blood and fell to the ground unconscious. I swear villains these days are dumber than they were back then, no matter what. At least my colleagues were fine, walking over to them to see if they were alright.

"Are you well Ken?" I ask.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, ah," Ken says, grabbing my hand as I lift him.

"I'll call the police," I say, getting the man out of the wall.

"No I'll get the police, I know how much you like to resonate while reading those scriptures," Ken says, pulling out his phone to call the police.

"Ok," I pulled the man out, and once I did it started to rumble the place.

The wall begins to crumble apart and dust flies everywhere, me covering Ken from getting launched off the cliff. The dust settles, and we both get to see the giant hole in the wall. In the wall was a secret room, like a headquarters.

"Holy shit, what is this!" Ken says, walking up towards the room.

"From the looks of it, it's a headquarters it seems," I say.

"Makes sense, going to war against the Northern Army. Well, we'll leave this for the time being, I'll call the police and I guess you can go home. What time did you arrive?"

"Uh, 5:45."

"My gosh dude, you've been here for 8 hours man. Get some rest."

"Fair, I haven't done my hero work yet so I'll go to the city."

I say my farewell to Ken, as I grab the satchel of my things. Mostly just some papers with scriptures copied down on them, and a photo of Queen Mikoto. Sigh, I walk down the path towards the city. It's not far from here. Usually, I would go with Cementos to the architectural site. However, he was offered a job at U.A, which makes sense. He still works, just not as often. I could make it to the city easily with my "quirk", but I enjoy a good walk from time to time. The beautiful nature that surrounded me was astonishing even back then, over 45 minutes. I made it to the city and dropped off my stuff in my new little home. Saving up for this moment, placing my stuff, and getting ready to go on patrol. Exiting the house and locking it to be sure that no one gets in. Then I heard a scream from down the block, I walked over to the sound and some mugger was running towards me. He ran past me as a woman yelled, "HE'S GOT MY PURSE!"

"Light Whip!" I yelled, conjuring a whip of light and lassoing the mugger.

I pull and he comes flying back at me, grabbing him with my hand and taking the purse with the other. I gave the purse back as she thanked me, then I proceeded to go to the police station to turn him in.

"Wow another well-known robber, we'll be sure to lock him up. Thanks, Endure," One of them said to me.

"The pleasure is all mine." I bowed to him, as I took my leave to do more patrolling.

Going near the center of the city, people recognized me. I inherited the title "Hero" some months ago, and I seem to have grown in popularity. I waved at them, as I continued my patrol to find some villain running away from some heroes. They chased them across the street, as I switched my armor to a speed form. Setting my foot on the ground, and starting running fast at them. Catching up to the heroes as I pass them, and getting close to them. With my other powers, I make a light shield in front of them. They stop at the barrier, as I stand behind them. Preparing myself for the four versus one, they turned and charged at me.

"Shield!" I say, a knight shield appearing on my left forearm as I blocked their attack.

One had a finger missile quirk, shot them out and I deflected the attack. Another had weapons as arms, blocking him with a shield. The other two just shot fireballs and lighting. Nothing big, I can take care of the one here and get the rest in a swoop.

"Shield Rush!" I bashed the first one against the ground, as I rushed to the finger missile quirk user.

I bash him, as well as bash towards the last two. Then the only thing that they can do is their attacks being deflected and bashed towards the ground. Easily dealt with the situation, at least probably better than what they were doing. When they arrived, I contacted the police to come pick these guys up. I had restraining bands, tieing them and the heroes looked confused.

"Are you a hero?" One of them asked.

"Yes, license and everything. Have a look for yourself," I say to them, pulling out a card with the information to be a hero.

The police arrive, they take in the four villains that I caught and put them in jail. I get my card back, bow, and leave the scene. I changed back to my regular form, it was good to have more speed than usual. However, I like to look normal. Despite being technically a knight from Medieval Times. Despite that, this life isn't bad. However, I have Queen Kimoto's last wish in mind, it's been about 5 years or so. When will that time come, who knows? I caught a glimpse of something moving in a dumpster, in an alleyway to my left. I walk in to investigate the movement, opening the dumpster more to see what's inside. There was a young white-haired girl in it, frightened.
