"Potter, what's going on?" Draco almost yelled in surprise upon seeing his former rival.
Before Harry could answer Narcissa moved over and pulled Hermione into a loving hug as tears fell from both their eyes Narcissa asked if she was okay and how little Jamie was. As the two women spoke Harry moved over to Draco.
"Draco I want to thank you for all you did for Hermione,"
"You're welcome, I just couldn't standby and let them hurt her after what you both did saving me and all,"
"I will explain everything as soon as all the others arrive so please be patient,"
A few minutes later several more people entered the compartment all looking confused until the memories of the future hit them. Some like Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, and Fred and George Weasley broke down and began crying while holding each other. As this was happening a few were very surprised by the arrival of some unsuspecting people, Luna Lovegood, Su Li, Ginny Weasley, (HA I bet you thought when I said Molly's Hellspawns I meant Ron and Ginny but no it was Percy and Ron, later in a flashback will explain about those two) and the biggest surprise was when Petunia and Dudley Dursley stepped into the compartment.
With a gasp and tear-filled eyes, Petunia rushed over to Harry pulling him into a loving hug, apologizing over and over.
"Aunt Petunia, it's alright I know it wasn't you but that MAN," Hary said the last word with pure hate as he rubbed her back.
Pulling away from her nephew with a faint smile she felt a wash of magic roll over her and her son. The others in the compartment stood in awe as both Dudley and his mother began to change gone were the overweight boy and horse-faced woman, in their place was a thin handsome young man and what could only be described as a blond-haired blue-eyed version of Lily.
"Harry what did you do?" Hermione asked stepping closer to him.
"I just fixed what HE did to them but I will explain later as for now, we have work to do,"
As the last few people entered the compartment some noticed that there were faces that would not be attending Hogwarts til the next year or later. Two of these figures were Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley who rushed over past Harry to engulf Hermione in a bone-crushing hug asking what was happening and what happened to little Jamie.
Clearing his throat to get everyone's attention, Harry looked at all of them before he spoke. "Now I know many of, if not all of you have questions about what is going on," He said receiving nods from most of them. "Well, the truth is we've been given a second chance all of us," Taking a deep breath Harry looked out into the group of faces. "None of you know that due to a certain Manipulating Old Man, I walked out into the forest to my death believing that if I sacrificed myself the same protection my mother gave me would work for all of you," Hearing this gasps and cries were heard throughout the group as Hermione and Petunia both wrapped Harry into a hug crying. Pulling himself free he thanked both of them with a kiss on the cheek. " What I did not know was it was all a lie there was no need for me to die, but for the twisted scheme of an old man to rule the world and I'm not talking about Riddle, yes I mean Dumbledore," With this Harry told all of them about his life and the manipulations of the old man not only to him but all of them and their families. To say they weren't pissed was to say the Grand Canyon was just a pothole, but everyone calmed down when Harry began to speak again.
"I know how all of you feel, but please let it go it is not important anymore we all have a second chance to change things, and right now we have a lot of work and training to do," With that, the group felt another wave of power wash over them. "Now what I just did was create a temporal space in the compartment compressing time so we can train our powers,"
"Harry, I understand why we need to train to use our magic but..." Neville said before Harry cut him off.
"No Nev not our magic I mean our powers, when I was on the other side I had a choice stay or come back I choose to come back but with a few conditions," Hearing this everyone listened closely to what Harry was saying. "The first was everyone here would have all their memories and second each of us would be given a gift of a mutant power,"
"What's a mutant?" Fred asked.
Before Hermione could answer Petunia spoke first. "In biology, and especially in genetics, a mutant is an organism or a new genetic character arising or resulting from an instance of mutation, which is generally an alteration of the DNA sequence of the genome or chromosome of an organism,"
"Thank you aunt Petunia for that but in our case, a mutant is a human being that possesses a genetic trait called the X-gene. It causes the mutant to develop superhuman powers that manifest at puberty," Harry said making everyone stand there with their mouths open.
Collen Creevey was jumping in place smiling before he spoke. "You mean we get to be like Superman or Batman?"
Many of the muggleborn and raised all look surprised and explained it to the ones that did not understand making them look shocked at what they heard.
"Well, yes and no, many of you will have similar powers but many will be different," Harry answered the hyperactive boy making him stop mid-bounce. "Now I know this is scary for all of you but please keep an open mind and remember that YOU. DO. HAVE. A. CHOICE."
Harry stood there and looked around as all the people began talking with each other deciding whether to do this or not. An hour later everyone agreed to let him do it, so Harry walked around to each person placing a hand over their heart he released the power given to him into them. Some of them Harry chose what power they would get like Fred and George them being twins they were alike but different so they were given the mutant powers of fire and ice. George got Iceman's powers and Fred received the Humantorch's ( I know the Humantorch is not a mutant but a mutate, but he is still a Marvel Character.) both stood there looking at each other with wide grins. "WICKED"
Moving through the compartment, Harry would touch the people and their mutant power would emerge. Some were random while others Harry chose like Daphne Greengrass and Tracey Davis got the powers of Magik and Firestar respectively. With others like Nymphadora, Lavender, and Su Li it was only logical what powers they would receive, Mystique, Shadowcat, and Psylocke.
As he made his way back to where he started there were only seven people left he had not touched. Looking at them Harry just smiled reaching out to Narcissa, he stopped when Malfoy jokingly told him to stop trying to cop a feel from his mom.
"But Draco, just look at her, what guy wouldn't want to do that?" He answered making the boy laugh and his mother blush. "But still Narcissa I think the power of the White Queen will suit you best," He said placing his hand on her chest and pouring power into her, seconds later where Narcissa Malfoy nee Black once stood now a figure made of diamond took her place. "Now before you freak out this is the second part of your mutation,"
Narcissa just looked at herself and smiled. "Why would I be upset after all diamonds are a girl's best friend?" She said smiling before turning back to normal where she instantly grabbed her head moaning. "What the bloody hell is that?" She half screamed half moaned.
Moving quickly Harry placed his hands on the sides of her head a second later Narcissa calmed down.
"Sorry about that I kind of forgot you have two mutations one is your diamond form making you virtually indestructible to a point and you are also a telepath so you and a few others are going to have to train in controlling your powers," Harry told her as he led her over to a section of the compartment with Su Li, Angelina Johnson, Alicia Spinnet, Katie Bell, Penelope Clearwater, and Mindy Dayton.
Harry also took his aunt and Hermione with him as he gave Petunia two powers the first the telepathy of Charles Xavier and the second was the power of Calaban. (Look up his powers if you're interested) " Now Aunt Petunia the powers you have will help us find other Mutants all over the world."
"Why would there be more I thought everyone here would be it?"
"Because at the end of this school year I will release a wave of power covering the whole world making other show abilities as well, and in that time it should give you, Narcissa, Sirius, Remus, and Dudley time to get the Potter ancestral home Rowen Hall ready for their arrival."
"Um Harry this is all well and good, but did you forget that Sirius is a wanted fugitive and I still have my furry little problem?" Remus asked in a quiet tone.
Harry just waved it off looking at Remus. "Don't worry because as of this morning prisoner Black was found dead in his cell and Mister Orion Blackbolt here is a free man." He said turning to face his smiling godfather. "Now Sirius your powers only work in your animagus form which I had to enlarge to compensate."
Smiling Sirius or now Mr. Blackbolt changed into the largest dog ever seen he was about the size of an Indian Elephant before changing back and then gave his godson a bone-crushing hug.
As for Remus Harry told him that he cured his furry little problem by making him furry all the time. With that Remus conjured a mirror to look at himself and saw a large blue-gray fur-covered beast man looking back. Before he could say anything Tonks came over wrapping her arms around his large shoulders and smiling at him. " Well hello, tall dark, and hairy did you know blue is my favorite color?" Making everyone in earshot laugh.
When they reached the others Harry decided to give Hemione her powers, feeling he forgot something. When it was done he remembered what the thing was when he stepped back as a large plume of fire engulfed Hermione and took the form of a giant bird which let out a mournful cry.
The only thing he could think of at that moment was BUGGER.
