Izuku and Ochako got weird looks as they rode their Roombas down the sidewalk, heading towards the 7-Eleven store that is about a forty-five minute walk from UA's campus down the hill. Thankfully people were moving out of their way, though their Roombas had to swerve around a few stubborn people that wouldn't move out of their way. Of course, they have since stopped sitting cross-legged and were now standing straight on the Roombas.
Their phones were out and they were currently texting away like normal teenagers do nowadays.
Lemme Smash Cat (2:34 PM): So, weird how ppl r starin' at us, nyaa?
Uramochi Cat (2:34 PM): Ya, but who cares, ne?
Lemme Smash Cat (2:35 PM): Then again, 2 cats ridin' on Roombas the size of reg car tires. U gunna stare. #CatsLuvRoombas
Uramochi Cat (2:35 PM): #CatsLuvRoombas! Anyway, y we text nstead of talk?
Izuku finally looks from his phone over to Ochako, who does the same, both teens next to each other moving down the sidewalk on the Roombas.
"We are so teen, huh?"
Ochako laughs, and Izuku joins her in the laughter.
They soon made it to the 7-Eleven store, where they parked their Roombas outside by the bike rack, and went inside. After raiding the candy and drink sections, they left two thousand yen lighter, hopped back on their Roombas, and made their return to UA. They made it back an hour later, but that was due to a villain attack that interrupted their peaceful ride back to school, so the couple swiftly dealt with the would-be bank robber and waited for cops to show up, take the criminal into custody, and also show off their Provisional Licenses so they wouldn't get in trouble and prove they're Hero Students.
When they DID finally got back to the dorms, they even entered the front doors riding their Roombas.
"We're back, nyaa," they called out to their classmates.
"Midoriya! Uraraka! Are you okay? The news talked about a bank robber downtown," said Mina.
"Oh, we took care of that when we literally rode into the scene of the crime," says Ochako.
"Yeah. We nailed the guy down quick with our teamwork," Izuku spoke up, smiling.
Izuku and Ochako fist bump each other.
"We'll be upstairs," Ochako says with a purr as she and Izuku soon disappear into the building's elevator.
"Pray tell they're not going to ride those Roombas from now on?" complained Tenya.
"We'll remind them to walk now and again," said Kyoka, nudging Katsuki in the side.
"Huh? Yeah, whatever," the blond muttered.
Once inside their room, Izuku closed and locked the door while the Roombas docked in their corner and went into Sleep Mode. Ochako sets the bags of goodies down, putting away the Ramuné drinks into their mini fridge.
"Hey, Izu?"
"Yes, Ocha?"
Ochako pulls out a Studio Ghibli movie from their movie shelf.
"Let's watch some Tonari no Totoro."
"Yeah!"
They settle down once Ochako puts the disc into the player, and enjoy some classic anime from the pre-quirk era.
Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro) is still and forever will be (until the day I die) my number one Studio Ghibli anime film.
