It has been six months into the z fighters training for the Saiyans, Kuroda has been training hard under King Kai and has nearly mastered the Kaioken.
"Alright Kuroda try it again" the assistant said, Kuroda took a deep breath in, the ground began to shake as Kuroda gathered her energy, "Kaioken!" A red aura surrounded Kuroda.
"Good, now King Kai", "Alright" King Kai used his telekinesis to throw three large bricks into the air, Kuroda quickly zipped through the air and smashed all of the bricks into pieces.
Bubbles and Gregory gave a round of applause to Kuroda, "Well done Kuroda, you have finally mastered the Kaioken, now it's time to teach you my most powerful technique the Spirit Bomb".
"Alright, I'm ready to learn!" Kuroda cheered
"Wait King Kai, I don't think she is worthy of learning the Spirit Bomb" the assistant appealed, "What? What do you mean I'm not ready? I've done all the tests I've mastered Kaioken what more do I need to do?" Kuroda questioned.
"You must defeat me. Face me and prove that you're worthy!" She charged towards Kuroda and socked her in the gut, Kuroda staggered back and smiled, "I've been wanting to see what face is hiding under that mask" the two of them flew up and started exchanging blows in the air.
"King Kai, why are you just standing there? Aren't you going to stop them?" Gregory asked, "Because Kuroda needs this fight and she will soon discover why" King Kai answered.
Kuroda tried to punch the assistant in the face to knock off her mask, the assistant ducked underneath Kuroda's punch and uppercutted her in the chin, she then spun around and kicked her in the side.
Kuroda gathered her energy, "Kaioken!" Kuroda charged at the assistant and slammed her knee into her gut, she then grabbed the assistant and punched her in the face cracking her mask.
One of her eyes was now exposed, the eye somehow looked familiar to Kuroda, "Two can play that game, Kaioken!". The two clashed in the air, they exchanged multiple blows constantly tiring each other out, the assistant teleported behind Kuroda and wrapped her arms around her waist.
She then suplexed Kuroda into the ground nearly knocking her unconscious, the assistant powered down from Kaioken, dusted herself off and walked away.
"Hey!" The assistant turned around and was met with a fist to the face that broke her mask and sent her crashing into a tree, "You underestimated me and that costed you, now show me who you really are!" Kuroda shouted.
The mask fell into multiple pieces in her lap, "As you wish Kuroda" the assistant lifted up her head and made eye contact with Kuroda, Kuroda was left speechless as the mysterious masked figure was her mother.
"M-Mom?" Kuroda ran to her mother with her arms out, Gine grinned as she reminisced about the times Kuroda would always run to her when she was in trouble or hurt, Kuroda hugged her mother and cried heavily, "I've missed you so much Mom" She cried.
Gine caressed her daughter's face, "I've missed you too. Look at you, you're a strong young lady now and you're starting to look just like me" Gine chuckled, "You should see Kakarot's kids, they look just like him and father" Kuroda remarked.
"Wait a minute, Kakarot has kids! I'm a grandmother! Oh my goodness I need to tell Bardock about this!" Gine rushed over to King Kai and put a hand on his back, "King Kai connect me to Bardock", "Alright hang on"
In hell
Bardock sat with his old crew reminiscing on the old times when they were alive until he heard his wife's voice in his head.
"Bardock, Bardock can you hear me?"
"Hang on guys, the wife's calling again. Wassup Gine?"
"Kakarot has children, we're grandparents!"
"What?!" Bardock shouted, "What is it Bardock?" Taro asked, "Kakarot has kids, I'm a grandfather…", "Woah to think the youngest had kids first" Borgos said, Shugesh slapped bardock on the back, "Well congrats bardock, to bad you won't get to see them though".
"I mean there's a possibility that he can, but you're probably right" Fasha said, "How did you find this out?" Bardock asked, "Kuroda told me," Gine answered, "Kuroda's up there?" Bardock questioned,
"It's a long story, I'll just bring you up here" Kuroda watched as Gine put two fingers on her forehead and disappeared, "What, where did she go?" She asked, "Just give it a second".
Gine teleported back with Bardock, Kuroda's eyes went wide in the sight of her father, Kuroda and her father never had the best relationship but she was still very happy to see him, Kuroda hugged her father tightly "it's good to see you father", Bardock hugged Kuroda back "It's good to see you too Kuroda".
This sweet moment was interrupted by Krillin and Yamcha who crashed into the planet, "I can barely move" Krillin groaned, "The gravity here is so heavy" Yamcha said.
Kuroda's face lit up seeing her friends alive and well, "Krillin, Yamcha!" She quickly ran over and helped her friends up, she hugged the both of them tightly, "I'm so glad to see you two, I knew you guys would make it" she exclaimed.
"Oh let me introduce you to my parents" Kuroda waddled over with Krillin and Yamcha still in her arms, "Mom, Dad these are my friends Krillin and Yamcha" she said, "Hello it's nice to meet you I'm Gine and this is my husband Bardock" Gine greeted.
"It's nice to meet you" Krillin and Yamcha said, Kuroda let go of them and let them adjust to the gravity a bit, "So your Goku's dad huh? I guess that's where Goku and Goten get their wild hair from" Krillin commented, "Did you just insult my hair?" Bardock said getting in Krillin's face.
Krillin began to sweat, "N-No sir I was just saying it's good to know who had it first you know" Krillin fretted, "Sir?! Do I look old to you?" Bardock barked, Krillin started stuttering on his words not knowing what to say to the furious Saiyan.
"Bardock calm down, he was just being respectful" Gine said, Bardock scoffed and backed off, "So where is King Kai?" Yamcha asked, "That would be me," King Kai said.
Krillin and Yamcha bowed to him, "King Kai we are here to-", "Yeah yeah I know you're here to receive my training so you can stop the Saiyans that's coming to earth, Gine can you start them on the first test", "Of course follow me, come on bubbles you've got more running to do" Gine said picking up bubbles and leading Krillin and Yamcha away from the others.
"Wait a minute, Saiyans are heading towards earth?" Bardock said, "Unfortunately, Vegeta and Nappa are heading to earth as we speak, that's why we are here to get King Kai's training and save earth. I hate to admit it but I must be the one who defeats Vegeta".
Bardock but a hand on Kuroda's shoulder, "Kuroda, Vegeta is the strongest Saiyan in the universe this won't be an easy battle", Kuroda held her fathers hand, "Don't worry dad I'll be fine, with King kai's training I should be able to beat him. The only thing I have to learn is the spirit bomb, right King Kai?".
"Correct and we need to start your training as soon as possible we only have a couple months left" King Kai advised, Kuroda could see the worry in her fathers eyes, "Look dad I know you were never really interested or proud of me because I was never a fighter, but I will defeat Vegeta because if I don't earth will die and I will not let earth die".
Bardock smiled and rubbed Kuroda's head, "Well I better get going before King Yemma gets upset again, good luck Kuroda I'll be watching" Bardock jumped off the planet and fell downwards towards the clouds.
"I'm ready to start my training King Kai"
"Good let's begin"
After six months Krillin and Yamcha have finally made it to King Kai's planet to begin their training from King Kai, Kuroda how ever is ready to learn King Kai's most powerful technique the spirit bomb, but will all this training be enough to beat the Saiyans? A/N:
I don't have much to cover with this chapter but I did enjoy writing it, I loved the interactions in this one. This is the stuff I've been missing when writing stories: genuine human emotion and feelings is so satisfying to write. Also if you're wondering why Gine did instant transmission it's stated that King Kai actually knows instant transmission so I thought it would make sense for Gine to know the move since she is King Kai's assistant.
Next chapter Vegeta, Nappa and Tarble will arrive on earth so get ready for that showdown, anyway guys I'll catch you later.
