That's a Lotta Cats There, Nyaa~
The manga artist Kohei Horikoshi is the creator of the Boku no Hero Academai universe and its colorful cast of characters.
Reading the AO3 story "Meow Hero" by RavenThePhantomThief made this happen, nyaa. So, anybody who are interested, head over to AO3 and give Raven's cat IzuOcha fic a read. It's really good and gave me the inspiration to write more Cat IzuOcha~
So, in this one, Minoru Mineta is trampled by the Meow Army. Nyaa~
It was an incident which took place in their second year of UA High that the student population will forever remember the day when the Meow Army invaded UA. A week past the Sports Festival is when it happened.
"MMMMMMMRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL!"
Izuku let loose a very loud and very audible cat call, which reverberated throughout the entire cafeteria, throughout the entire school itself, and causing Nezu inside his office to have twitching ears and a swaying tail as he hits a button on his desk to lock-down his office for safety reasons.
Why did Izuku let loose an ear-piercing cat call that was heard throughout the whole school?
Because poor Minoru Mineta stepped on Izuku's tail. And it was also on accident. The little dude wasn't being callous or mean or anything like that. It was just an accident. One that can easily be waved off with an apology and a quick bow to the hurt party in question. Yeah, sure, Mineta's a pervert and he totally deserves the karma that creeps up on him should he ever get caught doing something that was wrong and he knows about it but doesn't refrain or stop himself from acting out in the first place. But sadly, the universe will not give Mineta the chance to apologize to Izuku for accidentally stepping on the tip of his tail.
Mrowl!
It came from a tabby cat that was seen running into the cafeteria.
Meow!
Another cat, a calico, rushes into the cafeteria, too.
Mew~
It was a baby white kitten with red eyes that mews cutely, riding on top of an older green furred cat.
An aged mrowl is heard from an old gray and white cat wearing an eye patch? And it's carrying a small dining knife in its mouth? Then the cacophony of cats meowing, mrowling, mewling and cat calling fills the cafeteria as thousands upon thousands of cats young, old, and even kittens of all different colors and breeds rushed into the cafeteria from all entrances and sides. And all of them attacked Mineta.
His screams were drowned out by the cats and kittens meowing away as the poor boy got bit and clawed and scratched and even physically rag-dolled by the sea of cats. No one else got hurt by this army of meowing cats, aside a few with cat allergies sneezing away now. For three full minutes, every other student were stuck where they were as cats swarmed the cafeteria attacking one lone student. And then as quickly as the army had arrived, all of them finally flee the cafeteria after those three long painful minutes witnessing thousands of cats attack a single student. These cats will all vanish from their eyes as they make for any available exit from the cafeteria, returning back to whence they came.
"Holy shit! He's like a Cucco!" exclaims the half-Japanese half-American foreign student, Pony Tsunotori, of the Hero Course Class 2-B.
Hey, look, she manages to say all those words in Japanese and not in her more comfortable English language. So everybody heard what the cute horse girl said.
Poor Mineta was later transported to a hospital since Recovery Girl was out on a well-deserved one month vacation.
And Izuku was healed by the attentive caring licks and meows of his mate Ochako. And if Ochako was very clingy and affectionate the rest of the school day and ignored Tenya politely scolding them for their public displays of affection, well, that's not their problem as Izuku happily soaked up the affection given to him by his beautiful mate and future mother of their kittens when they're fully grown up.
Cuccos aren't the only things one should never screw around with, nyaa.
