My Mom and Dad are Cats

This takes set in the future where Eri is adopted and an older sister to a IzuOcha baby and IzuOcha are Pro Heroes.

Chapter Summary: Eri loved her mama and her papa very much. They saved her when she was little, gave her love and affection, plenty of attention, and a place to call home. Not to mention they're cats.

Everybody knew who they were. They were a uniquely powerful and heroic duo since the Waterhose Duo. They were Pro Heroes Koneko Vert and Koneko Rosé, and known for their feline appearances which reflects in the costumes they wear. And Eri was smiling happily as she ate another wonderful family dinner with her mama, papa, and baby brother, who was happy and gurgling like most babies would as she watches her papa spoon feed the child. And Sachihiro - a nine month old boy who looks like a carbon copy of his father but with brown hair, cat ears and tail - would just giggle and laugh whenever Izuku makes funny faces at the feline baby.

"So, Eri, honey, how was school today?"

"It was okay, mama," Eri answers. "Kota-kun is in my class, so I'm happy."

Ochako smiles.

"That's wonderful, nyaa. I'm happy your first day of junior high school went well."

"Well... I admit it was a bit daunting being in middle school now. But I had Kota with me, and some of our other friends. So I was okay."

Izuku wipes away a bit of the carrot sauce from Sachihiro's lips as the baby cat giggled and cooed.

"Oh, I remember how scared I was being in a new school after graduating from elementary school, now no longer allowed to dress casually and putting on school uniforms. Your father was afraid he won't make new friends in a new environment, but I and your uncle and aunts had to make it clear to him that he was over reacting."

Izuku gave a displeased meow. "Ochako, some punk tried to bully me on the first day, remember?"

"I do. I also remember Katsuki showing up over the weekend just to find the guy and breaking his nose with his fist."

She also recalls Katsuki stating that it was worth traveling to their home town from Musutafu to punch a cat hater in the face.

"What happened to this cat hater?" Eri asked her parents.

"He ended up ruining his life by trying to steal a carton of cigarettes from a 7-Eleven and got arrested for theft. I believe that happened mid-way into our first year of high school."

Eri nodded; this would have happened before she ever met the two lights that blessed her life and chased away the darkness and his hateful eyes.

"Gojiro Hakushaku," Izuku spoke up. "Last week I aided police in capturing a group of small-time thugs responsible for thievery of goods from stolen shipping vans and he was among the culprits I caught. I actually felt very sorry seeing that he's turned into a life of petty crime."

"What kind of Quirk did he have?" asked Eri.

"He can grow a fully functioning double-jointed third arm from his sternum."

Ochako clears her throat. "Okay, nyaa, I think that's enough talk about an ex-classmate from middle school."

Izuku smiles a bit.

"Sure, honey."

"Mama, papa, I was wondering..."

"Yes, honey?" Ochako inquires.

"I know that we live in Kakegawa and that it's a bit of a trip even by train to Musutafu, but I heard rumors of this school called Aldera, so I was wondering how come we don't live closer to UA? I could easily have gone there and then after graduating and getting into UA easily walk the distance or something..."

Izuku decided to answer his daughter's question.

"Well, sweetie, the entire Aldera school district has been shut down for a week now ever since the discovery that it was a former indoctrination camp for the Meta Liberation Army. I doubt that the Aldera district is going to be brought back since its discovery of being linked to the Meta Liberation Army, or being supporters and sympathizers of Destro's toxic views about how Japan should be run and their hatred of the Quirkless."

Eri nodded.

"I see, papa. So it was basically a villain camp?"

"Something like that," Ochako speaks next. "And we're grateful of its closure. The last thing anyone needs is brainwashed kids supporting a dead terrorist organization. And besides, honey, remember your days at UA with me and papa? Soon you'll be living at UA too once you graduate in three years and pass the UA Entrance Exams."

"Or maybe you're hoping that you can spend your high school days at home and commute by train every day?"

Eri smiles now. "Something like that, papa. Sachi-kun's still a baby and I wanna be able to take care of my baby brother."

The two felines purr happily. Their adopted daughter was such a sweet angel.

"You'll always be able to care for your baby brother, honey. Besides, your papa can do his solo work for awhile while I care for Sachi-kun. Just until he's old enough to care for himself with some supervision from his grandparents, uncles and aunts."

"Like Uncle Kacchan?"

Izuku chuckles.

"Yeah."

"Ya know, I don't think I tell you both enough how much I love you. You both rescued me when I was very little and accepted me into your hearts, cared for me and everything. The day when you presented those papers to me was the happiest moment ever in my life. And I'm just so very proud to be able to call you my mama and papa."

Izuku and Ochako's hearts squeezed by the affectionate words their daughter shared.

"I love you both very very much. I am happy to be a Midoriya. I am happy to be your daughter. I'm just so happy to have a loving family. A loving mama and papa, and a cute little brother to dote on, to care for, and to love."

"We love you too, sweetie," Izuku and Ochako tell their daughter.

Sachihiro coos happily towards Eri. Eri scooched over so she could kiss her baby brother on the forehead.

"So, did Uncle Kacchan knock up Auntie Tsu and Auntie Kyo yet?" Eri would ask this change-of-topic question.

It was at this point Eri said this Izuku was sipping his drink. Cue spit-take, a happy giggle from an amused baby feline boy, and the fork from Ochako's hand to lose grip and clatter to the table. Eri just stares at her mama and papa with that innocent smile on her face.

Izuku and Ochako glance at each other.

Something cute and random until the unexpected left turn at the end.

I wish to point out that Izuku and Ochako's Pro Hero outfits are basically canon outfits but add cat ears and cat tails, Izuku's cowl is more feline-designed, and Ochako's ear guards are cat ear-shaped. And also Katsuki is in a supportive three-way relationship with both Tsuyu and Kyoka in this adult life and the three love each other equally.
