Eyal:
Waking a with a gasp Eyal took in his surrounding. This wasn't his place or his bed. Inhaling deeply he picked up on Ziva's recent scent. Glancing down at his body, he found the wound healed. His memory was still foggy at the moment. Snips of that night came to him, but he still couldn't remember the whole event.
He suddenly doubled over from the pain in his chest. "Alright, that's not normal." Clutching at his chest, he closed his eyes for a moment and took in some deep breaths. "I need to get the hell out of here. Wherever here may be." He jumped at the door being slammed open.
"Ziva!" Tony burst into the room with a frantic look. He looked worse than Eyal felt. The man had bloody shoulders and a wild look in his eyes. "You here?! Ziva!"
"Agent?" Eyal jumped from the bed, collecting the younger man in his arms. "What's the matter? Where is Ziva?"
"Eyal?" He looked up at the wolf with surprised eyes. "You're awake!"
"Aw-How long was I out for?" Shaking his head, he focused on the matter at hand. "What happened to you?"
"Ziva." He gasped as if just remembering. "She turned into a wolf!"
"What?"
"She turned into a mother fucken wolf!" Tony yelled. "She's going after Elston."
"Wha-" He placed his hands on his shoulders, forcing Tony to stand still and face him. "Start from the beginning."
Taking in a deep breath, he began talking. Starting from Elston calling her, to finding out Eyla was taken, to the shifting and Ziva running off. "I thought she might have run here. She looked just as confused as I did when she changed. Alex told us a bite couldn't change someone, so-"
"I don't know." Eyal ran around the room trying to locate his clothes. "I need you to head back to the compound. Get the rest of the alphas. Elston wouldn't be stupid enough to call and not have a plan in motion."
"You saying he planned this?" Tony was already texting Gibbs to gather the others and meet him where Eyal was being held.
Slipping on a shirt, he placed his hands on the table. "Elston knew the toxin would keep me down for a while. So that meant he wasn't aiming to take me out yet. He's-" Eyal gasped. "He's going after Ned."
"Ned? Nathan's brother?" Tony frowned. "Then why not target his pack or brother? Why go for Ziva and Eyla?"
"Ned being who he is has a moral obligation of protecting us. No matter where you are, he or his pack will always come." Running a hand through his hair, he debates telling him the rest. "There is also the detail of Ziva being Ned's mate as well."
"What?!"
"He found out back when they worked together, but he was the stronger of us. He backed away to keep her safe, but always had an eye on her." A chuckled got past his lips. "Elston didn't realize what he just did. I assume he doesn't know about the connection between them. I take it that with me out of commission, Ned marked my pups. So there is that as well. Not only did Elston go after his packmate, but his mate. If Ziva doesn't get him, Ned will."
Ziva:
Ziva wasn't sure how she even got here in the first place. Straining against the chain, she yelped at the burning in her neck.
One moment she argued with Tony, the next she was a wolf. In the spur of the moment, she ran out. Both from fear and adrenaline. But at that moment the only thing that mattered was getting her daughter back.
She ran for miles following the familiar scent of Eyla. When she got to the abandoned building she failed to see the trap. In a matter of a short time, they caught her with a net and tied her to the chain. Still being new to the body of a wolf, Ziva had been unable to dodge the incoming attack. Now here she was chained, while her daughter was caged a few feet away from her.
'Eyla.' Ziva called for her.
The pup raised her head, scanning the warehouse. Her eyes landed on a Snow White wolf. With a huff, she laid back down.
'Eyla, don't fall asleep.' Ziva growled.
This time she was sure that was her mother. 'Mom?' Looking around she still wasn't able to find her. 'Where are you?'
'To your left.'
'To my-' Her eyes widen as she looked at the wolf. 'You hiding behind the crack-colored wolf?'
'Watch it!' She snapped.
'Holy shit! You're a wolf!' She jumped up, yelping at hitting her head. 'Shit.'
'Language!' Ziva huffed. 'We can deal with me later, but you...what the hell were you thinking?! I warned you many times never to leave the pack's territory. Never to wander off on your own!'
'I wanted to find dad.' Eyla shrunk in the corner of the cage. 'Ewa and I just wanted what Seth and Noah had with their dad. You wouldn't tell us where he was or let us see him. So we decided to go looking.'
'We?' Ziva paled. 'Where is your sister?'
Eyla looked up with a shocked look. 'I told her to run away while they tried to take me. Told her to run back to the pack and get the alphas.'
Ziva glanced down at their paws. Her claws scratched at the concrete floor. 'Let's hope she made it back.'
'I'm really sorry mom.' Eyla whimpered. 'I just wanted to see him.'
'I didn't want you to see him that way.' Ziva whispered.
'What?' Eyla glanced over to find her mother staring at the ground. 'Why not?'
'For as long as I have known Eyal, he was always standing strong. Always looking to help and protect his pack-mates. It's what caused him to get hurt. I didn't want you to see your father in that state. I wanted your first meeting to see him as he truly is. Standing tall, not laid in a bed fighting for his life.'
She had never thought of it that way. She always saw it as her mother keeping him from them. As if she didn't want them to interact or even think about him.
'It's also why the pack hasn't been able to see him either.' Ziva stated. 'So that image of their undefeated alpha remains. So the pack has hopes he will rise back up.'
'I didn't think of it that way.'
"So, what does Elston wants us to do with them?" One of the guards mumbled.
The second one shrugged. "Said to sit and wait. When the pack shows we take them on."
Ziva frowned. 'Two against the alphas? They will be slaughtered.'
'Are they coming for us?' Eyla asked.
'Between Ewa and Tony, they are bound to get word. They will come.'
Alex:
"Seth! You jump in that mud puddle one more time-"
"Let them play." Nathan wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulders. "From what Clay told me you were worse than the two of them put together."
"I am starting to realize my father has a big mouth." Alex leaned back into him.
"By the way, your team is settled in." Nathan said. "They settled into the two cabins left from ours. Tony and Jethro will be sharing one. I gave the other to McGee and his fiancé."
"Thank you." She turned around, giving him a peck on his jawline. "I know this is less than comfortable for you."
"I'm fine." He sighed.
"Hey, have either of you seen Eyla or Ewa?" Molly walked over to them. "I can't find them anywhere."
"They're probably in the woods." Alex looked over at Noah, having sense the change in the pup. 'Seth?'
'Yeah?'
'Where are the girls?'
Noah nudged his brother, giving a barely noticeable shake of the head.
Seth sighed. 'I don't know.'
Jumping over the railing she walked over to them. "You two are the worst liars. Where are they?"
"They went searching for Eyal am I correct?" Nathan growled. Both Noah and Seth crouched to the ground with whimpers. They may be Nathan's pups, but they held the same respect and fear for him as any beta. "Answer me."
Seth whimpered, getting closer to the ground. If that was even possible. 'We didn't know she would follow through with it.'
"We need to call Ziva." Alex reached into her pockets for the phone. "Molly, tell Clay to get the pack searching."
"When did they leave?" Nathan asked.
Noah shrugged. 'I don't know. We thought she had given up on it when we talked. I didn't think she would go through with it. Besides what's the problem? This wouldn't have happened, had her mother not kept their father hidden. It's Ziva's fault.' Noah's eyes widen at suddenly being pushed to the ground. Looking up he was stunned to see his father looming over him. 'Da-dad?'
'You may be my son, but you will show respect to the rest of the alphas. You do not know what has happened before your time.' He leaned in closer to Noah, their noses nearly touching. 'You wish to become an alpha one day? Lead your pack? With the direction you're going, you wouldn't be able to keep them alive for a day.'
"Nathan." Alex's mother's instincts were begging her to help her son. But should she intervene Alex would only be interrupting a lesson Noah needed to learn.
'You fail to stop a packmate from heading into danger. You may have not been able to stop her, had you told us we would have.' Nathan leaned forward, nipping his ear. The cut on the ear would never close, leaving the mark as a reminder of this day. Noah yelped at the pain. 'Never speak ill of a packmate or an alpha. Ziva had her reason, ones you probably will never understand.'
'I-I'm so-'
'Uncle Ned!' Ewa burst from the forest howling at the top of her lungs. 'Uncle Ned!'
Ned rushed out of the house, his eyes falling on the she-wolf. She was covered in mud and twigs. "Ewa?" Running to her he caught her just as she collapsed. "Ewa? What happened?"
'Eyla was taken by Elijah.' With her promise to her sister, she gave in to the exhaustion.
"Ty!" Nathan yelled as he shifted back. "Take Ewa into the house. I want two at the door of her bedroom. She does not leave until we come back."
"Understood." Taking the pup from Ned, he picked Kuan and Zion.
"Why would Elston want with Eyla?" Molly's eyes followed the passed-out pup. "They are just pups."
"He's trying to lure Ned and Ziva into a trap," Alex growled. "Elston knows that with Eyal out, Ned would have taken the girls into his pack. He's looking to eliminate us separately."
"We need-"
"Alex!" Gibbs ran over to them, handing her his phone. "Tony just texted me this."
'Meet us where Eyal is being held. Bring the alphas. Eyal is awake. We know about Eyla.'
"Eyal is awake." The she wolf gasped. "We need to get moving."
Nathan glared down at his two sons. 'I want the both of you to stay with Ewa. Do not wander outside the house. Understood?'
Noah kept his head down. "Yes sir."
"Yeah." Seth had never seen his father like that. At one point he was worried he'd do more than the cut on the ear. "Noah?"
"I'm fine." Noah took off after Ty with a growl.
"Give him some space," Aaron muttered. "Seeing dad angry like that is a crazy imprint on anyone, but when that anger is directed on you." He exhaled with a huff.
Seth whimpered. 'I've never seen him like that.'
"That's because he rarely losses control," Aaron replied. "But the thought of losing any one of us always pushes him over the limit. Especially if it's caused by a stupid choice of ours."
'Will they all be mad?' Seth asked.
"Noah already got the blunt of father's anger." Aaron glanced at the retreating alphas. "But I don't think Alphas Ned or Da-vid are done with you four. Not to mention it looks like Eyal is awake and mom still hasn't said her piece." Seeing his brother lower himself with each name, he crouched beside him. "Look, all you can do is take it. They won't harm you. Noah already got his punishment for allowing the girls to leave and not saying anything to stop it. You will also receive punishment for not speaking up. Keep your head down and neck bared."
'Understood.' Seth looked up to see his parents and the alphas shifting as they took off into the woods. His parents were off to find Eyla and the man that has been targeting them. Because of their stupidity, they were sending their parents into a war unprepared. 'Please be careful.'
