Students began filing into the gymnasium, standing in the multiple lines forming in front of some tables. They were each receiving their burgundy gowns and yellow hats.
"This is it." Malia sighed.
"Yup, it feels great and yet nerve-racking." Erica slipped the gown on, checking herself out in the mirror.
"Well yeah it's nerve-racking, Imagine walking across the stage and falling, or..."
"Stiles."
"...one of our puppies loses control and shift, you..."
"Stiles."
"...can be walking up or down the sta..."
"STILES!"
"What?" He looked to see all the looks on their faces. "Ohh...sorry, guess I'm nervous as well."
Before any of them could respond Principal Addison walked up to them.
"Okay time for you all to go take your seats, the ceremony is about to begin." He ushered the group out. Standing to the side as they all bolted towards the front of the stage each taking their rightful seats.
Melissa had chosen to ride with the team. Noah would already be at the school, so she'd hitch a ride with him back. She was riding with Aaron, Kate, Rossi, and Reid. The rest were in the other SUV with Morgan. The party bus as Morgan called it.
"So I heard you and a certain sheriff are an item." Kate told her.
Melissa laughed. "You need to stop keeping tabs on me."
"Please, that's the only reason I joined the FBI." Kate smirked. "So, the sheriff…"
"Right, we've been together for 5 months now." Melissa answered through a toothy grin. "Scott said and I quote 'Relax mom, we're happy for you guys besides, that just makes Stiles my official brother'." Melissa caught Hotch's eyes in the rear mirror, checking on the three in his care. Leaning in closer to her sister's ear she whispered. "What's the hitch on you and alpha man?"
Kate frowned. "Hmm? Hotch?" Her sister nodded. "Nothing, why?"
"He keeps staring at you." Melissa whispered.
Kate glanced over at hotch, a sly smirk appearing on his lips as he looked away. "He just likes keeping a watchful eye on us."
"Mmhmm." Melissa hummed.
"Has Raf showed his face around?" Kate let a growl out at his name.
"Yeah he's here in Beacon Hills; he said he wants to be involved in Scott's life."
"Yeah, so he can throw him down the stairs again?" Kate regretted the words the minute she said them. Melissa flinched at the reminder of that day. "Shit, I'm sorry Mel." Kate whimpered grabbing her hand.
"No, don't worry about it. Besides it's Scott's decision, not mine, and from what I heard he has denied him any advances." She said with a satisfied smirk.
Kate grinned at the thought of her nephew telling that asshole off.
"We're here ladies." Rossi jumped out of the front seat, opening the back door for them.
"Come on I can't wait to see Scott!" Kate practically jumped out of the car. Yelping at someone pulling her into their arms.
"Easy there Kat, remember he doesn't know what you are. Keep your scent hidden for the moment." Kate blushed at the use of her nickname. One he deemed on her. "Let's get going."
Hotch allowed Melissa to lead them toward the bleachers. The alpha was just behind the nurse, while the others trailed behind him. Morgan and Rossi took up the rear, ensuring the omega, females, and pup were secured in the middle. The pack could feel the eyes of the town's people on them. It's not every day black SUVs with government plates and sharped dressed people come rolling into their town. And when they did weird shit tend to happen.
As the team approached the bleachers, Hotch had the wind knocked out of him as he was pushed to the ground. His back hit the dirt ground, causing the alpha to groan deeply. Yet his hands had wrapped around the person, protecting them from hitting the floor. That just added more weight to the fall. Laying his head back, he waited for his healing to kick in. At the moment it was difficult to move.
Once he got over the impact Hotch looked down to see a young boy, no older than 18 lying on his chest. The kid's face was covered by his hoodie, not knowing what he was doing he reached to push it back, wanting to get a clear view of his face. Hotch choked on the same air he survived on when he saw him. Brown eyes much lighter than his, Hotch noticed he was light but firm. His hands were on his hips, incautiously raising his hand to Stiles's rib cage feeling the curves as he passed them. The minute he locked eyes with him Hotch was drowned in them. He couldn't look away even if he wanted to.
Stiles groaned, did he just run into a wall? He looked up to see two of the darkest brown eyes he has ever seen. He felt herself getting lost in them, feeling the man's hands going up his side making him shiver in delight. Shaking his head Stiles jumped off him, holding out a hand to help him up. He was tall and handsome. Midnight black hair cut nicely and combed. A dark beard lightly covered his jaw. Strong broad shoulders and his arms were defined against the suit. which Made him wonder what he looked like shirtless. 'Jesus! Stiles, what the fuck is wrong with you?'
"I am really sorry, I was trying to get to my seat and I didn't see you. I mean, of course, I didn't see you otherwise; I wouldn't have knocked you over. Did I hurt, I am so sor..." Stiles was rambling.
Hotch chuckled at the nervous boy. "I am okay, no harm done. I'm more worried if I hurt you?"
Stiles couldn't help but turn to jelly at his voice. Deep and husky voice. Oh god, Stiles snap out of it. Before he could answer him a dark-skinned man walked up to them.
"Aaron, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine just an accident no harm done." The tall man addressed him before turning to face him again. "Are you okay?" Stiles let out a chuckled. "What's so funny?" Hotch asked enjoying the sound of his voice.
"It's just that I'm the one who knocked you to the ground and you're asking me if I'm okay?" Stiles said.
Hotch chuckled at that. "I grabbed you a little too hard on my way down. So to answer my questions are you okay?"
"Yes, I am fine."
Hotch was about to ask his name when someone yelled out.
"Stiles, stop flirting with random hot men and get your ass over here!" Lydia yelled.
Everyone nearby turned to look at the blushing boy standing next to the well-dressed man.
Stiles groaned his cheeks burning with embarrassment. "I have to go, I'm sorry for before. See you around."
Hotch gave him a smile letting his dimples show. "I have a feeling you will."
Stiles all but ran to his seat next to Aiden and Ethan, in front of Theo who was giving him a look before glaring at the man. Who at the moment was still looking towards Stiles. Waiting for the man to turn around, he let out a warning growl. To his surprise the guy turned back around, his eyes glowing iron grey. 'What the hell is that?!'
