Chapter 4: On Waves.
( Konoha, Hokage. Tower)
"Team Seven has passed." Kakashi announced to the Hokage with others looking surprised that his team had passed.
"That's amazing news Kakashi." He says looking from Asuma, Kurenai and Guy. Proud that all of them have a team.
"Good work all of you. You are now dismissed. Kakashi you stay." Hiruzen says with others nodding and walked out leaving just him and Kakashi.
"So.. how was it with her?" He asked with Kakashi sighing
"She's still not somewhat happy. She won't open up to me.. I can tell she doesn't like her teammates... " Kakashi answered with the Hokage sighing and smoking his smoke pipe knowing Naruko is still furious.
"I see... anything else..?" The Hokage asks with Kakashi scratching the back of his head.
"Well...when I asked for her likes and dislikes.. she told me her likes which are good.. but it's the dislikes I'm worried about... along with her dream." Kakashi says with the Hokage looking up.
"What do you mean?" He asked
"She has a dislike for the villagers who hated her and her dream.. she wishes to leave this village and be somewhere where she can be happy." Kakashi answered with Hiruzen now looking fully concerned and worried. He was afraid of this. While he didn't blame her for disliking the villagers but to leave? No he can't let that happen...
Perhaps he should try to reason with her to not leave. Her parents wouldn't want her to leave the village..
He didn't want to do this but what choice did he have. Should Naruko think of leaving the village someday because of her treatment from the villagers. Hopefully he can try to reason with her. He would need to call in Jiraiya. Her godfather to try and bond with the troubled girl.
He hopes that doesn't become worse.. since Jiraiya never bothered to visit or check on Naruko.
"Hokage-sama?" Kakashi asked breaking him out of his thoughts.
"Yes?" He replied looking at Kakashi.
"What should be done about her? Should she decide to leave the village?" Kakashi asks.
"I'm hoping this doesn't come to what I think is going to come Kakashi. I'm assigning Tenzo with Team 7." Hiruzen says with Kakashi widening his eye slightly
"You mean-" Kakashi replied but the Hokage nodded.
"Yes. He's a our safety measure should Naruko lose control of the Kyuubi. Im putting him on team 7 to prevent her from ever leaving the village.." Hiruzen says with a solemn expression. He honestly didn't want it to be this way. Knowing this could destroy whatever trust Naruko had with him.
"I see.." Kakashi says
"Go on. You are dismissed." He says to the Jonin who nodded and left the room leaving the old Kage.
He sighed... he really didn't want to do this. But what choice did he have. If he could try reasoning with her to give the village another chance and stay here proving to them that she's no monster or demon.. he knows her life wasn't the best but it shouldn't end like this.
"Neko." He called out as she appeared
"Yes. Hokage-sama.." She says
"Bring me Tenzo." He said with her nodding and vanished in a swirl of leaves to go get Tenzo.
He would have to contact Jiraiya immediately. So that the man can come bond with his god daughter.
( With Naruko)
Now at the ichiraku ramen stand. Enjoying her second bowl of ramen. Eating it In peace. At least she's a genin. She'll maybe rise through the ranks and become Chunin. But still wishes to leave the village someday. To go somewhere where she can be at peace and not hated for something that is not her fault.
With a sigh she kept thinking while at the same eating her ramen. She would need to train and hone her skills if she wants to use the power of the witchblade.
( In the next few weeks)
Naruko has been doing D-rank missions with her team. She hates D-rank missions.
She never made any bonds with her teammates or refused to acknowledge them. However there was one particular member she did not like.
Their new member who was named Yamato.
There was something off about him that she didn't like or trust.
Other then that she'll be watching him. Why would the Hokage allow another member on the team when there's supposed to be one Jonin and three genins.
There was something completely off about a new member in their team.
( Hokage Tower)
Team 7 was summoned by the Hokage.
"Ah. Team 7. There you are." Hiruzen says
"Team 7 reporting Hokage-sama." Kakashi says
"Hmm? Is this the team that's supposed to be escorting me?" Says a old man
"Who is this?" Sakura asked
"This is Tazuna. He's a bridge builder in wave and he requests your presence for an escort." Hiruzen answered
"So I have a one eyed man... a pink haired boy. Another boy with a duck's ass, a creepy brown haired man and a blonde chick that's a hottie? As my escorts?" Tazuna says making both Sasuke and Sakura glare at the man. While Yamato and Kakashi sweat dropped. Naruko simply raised a eyebrow at that compliment.
"We accept the mission Hokage-sama." Kakashi says with him nodding
"Then go." He would say as team 7 indeed left the office as he watched Naruko's retreating form with her team and Tazuna.
He sighed. As he got a reply from Jiraiya that he will come to Naruko when the time comes. He ordered his student to come to the village now and Jiraiya says he will be here in a half week.
Hopefully the man can try to make some bonds with Naruko. Since she hasn't opened up to her teammates or her Sensei.
But if Jiraiya failed in bonding with Naruko there's one person who can...
His other Student.. Tsunade Senju.
He would have to try contacting her. Maybe Naruko needs a female figure in her life and maybe Tsunade could make that happen.

Though should she be paired with Haku or Itachi?
