And after a month, it's finally back! Sorry for the wait, some stuff came up, and then procrastination came.

But right now...it's back. I hope it can stay back...

-MisterStevenson

We open on a pitch black room, there is no sound, and no signs of life. Suddenly a spotlight turns on, revealing The Operator and Monokuma, but there was one major difference…they were chibified.

"Hello boys and girls! It's been a while hasn't it? Well the wait is over, because it's time for…the recap!" Chibi Monokuma announced. "Yeah, I can't believe we left the audience in suspense about the Chapter 1 Recap…and nothing else!" The Chibi Operator added.

"Well without further ado…Here. We. Go!" They both raised a fist in the air.

"Alright, so this average kid named Makoto Naegi won a dumb contest and was accepted to Japanese Harvard. But he passed out and woke up in a "twisted version" of the school, oooh spooky!" The Chibi Operator started.

"And after meeting fourteen new people, and one familiar person, Makoto and the supporting cast went to the gym, where I-I mean, The Operator almost killed one of them." Chibi Monokuma continued.

"I coulda let the tough guy off with a warning, but I thought killing him and setting an example on the first day would've put the fear of God into them…I mean it still did, but not as much to a degree." The Chibi Operator interjected.

"So Makoto and the supporting cast explored their new home, trying their damndest to look for a way out. The weight of the situation eventually started to get to Makoto, and he got super stressed out." Monokuma continued.

"And then when things started to get boring, I introduced the first motive, a video of something near to the person's heart. The video made Makoto go completely insane, to the point where he nearly killed somebody." The Chibi Operator said.

"But his murder plot was stopped when Sayaka Maizono, or in your case, Kawaii Sugar Sugar Bang Bang Explosion Girl. Asked to switch rooms because she was scared." Monokuma interjected.

"Yeah…and also, seeing as during the trial, Sayaka was stated as coming out of the kitchen scared, and Makoto took a knife from the kitchen…but why did she *really* go into the kitchen do you think?" The Chibi Operator asked.

"I dunno, we can't ask because the stoner was the one who killed her. But the real question, or questions depending on your stance in the matter, is…what will happen now?" Chibi Monokuma asked.

"Who knows, my monotone friend. But whatever it is…there will be *lots* of blood!" At that point the two started to laugh wildly as the light to the room shut off.

It faded to the inside of Makoto's room. Makoto was laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

"..." Makoto was silent as he went over to his bathroom door and opened it. "It's gone…the doorknob is fixed…and my room is clean. It's almost like there wasn't a murder at all." Makoto said.

"Now the only thing left of her existence is the memories we all have of her. I haven't even had time to mourn her death, but I bet that's what *he* wants. For us to just forget about all the people who've died…" Makoto thought.

"I really want to convince myself that this is still some sort of messed up joke, or just a bad dream, but let's face it…it's not a joke, it's not a dream, and it will always be real." Makoto thought.

"...Alright. Now that I got all that out of my system, I need to be confident again! Even if I have to put on a mask, I can't let my depressing behavior rub off on the others, I'm not giving myself a pep talk for nothing!" Makoto exclaimed as he exited his dorm room and headed to the dining hall.

"Sorry i'm late." Makoto said as he arrived. "You sure took your sweet time! I thought I'd have to drag you back here myself!" Taka exclaimed. "Hey, his friend just died you know." Junko said.

"So, was your room still messed up?" Leon asked. "I wouldn't hope so. I mean it'd be pretty difficult sleeping with a friend's corpse in your bathroom." Kirigiri commented. "Okay, that's seriously fucked up! Why do you say things like that!?" Junko exclaimed.

"My room was…spotless. There was nothing there. Like the whole thing just…never happened. "It must be tough staying there, knowing what happened. Why don't you just stay in Sayaka's room?" Sakura suggested.

"Well…staying there, with her scent still hanging in the air…that would hurt just as much." Makoto said. "And also sleeping in her bed right after she died…there's something off-putting about that." Leon chimed in.

"...But I've also decided that I can't just ignore her death. The same with Yasuhiro, he may have killed Sayaka, but we can't just forget he ever existed." Makoto said. "Makoto…hey, cheer up! Getting depressed isn't gonna help anything, right? I think if we all work together, I'm sure we'll find a way out of here! So everyone please just…try and cheer up, and get back on track!" Aoi said.

"*chuckle* Do you honestly think that will make things better?" Kirigiri said in response to Aoi's speech. "H-Huh?" Aoi asked. "Think about it, we were already working together and being friendly with each other, and yet two people are now dead. Who's to say another person won't betray us, hm?" Kirigiri asked. "Y-Yeah, because if Yasuhiro m-made the first move, t-then anything could happen!" Chihiro added.

"..." Makoto was silent. "But if we work together against The Operator, nobody'll have any reason to betray anyone!" Aoi said. "You keep telling yourself that. Meanwhile I'll be over here in the real world." Kirigiri responded. "I highly doubt that." Celeste added.

"I regrettably have to somewhat agree with Kyoko. These goals of working together, fighting a common enemy, finding a way out of here…they aren't as simple as they were a few days ago." Genkai said.

"What do you mean?" Hifumi asked. "Well a few days ago, there were still sixteen of us, and we could trust each other better. But now that betrayal is something that we know can happen again…" Genkai said.

"*sigh* That is true." Taka agreed. "And there's also a few things I would like to add to that statement." Celeste said. "Well what are they?" Genkai asked.

"Well first of all, The Operator appears to be far more powerful then we suspected. He either took over Hope's Peak, or built a perfect replica and modified it to fit his twisted desires." Celeste said.

"He created Monokuma, the camera-screens, and the spear traps, not to mention any other machinery we haven't seen yet. And he's somehow able to provide for our every need." Celeste continued.

"And not to mention the…execution we all witnessed." Makoto interjected. "Yes, even that. Everything, even the most excruciating details have been planned out. Despite how we perceive him as just some psychopath who kidnapped us, he really is an intelligent and calculating individual…" Celeste finished.

"Then…what are we supposed to do?" Sakura asked. "Isn't it obvious? Anyone who wants to escape will simply have to follow the rules." Kirigiri responded. "Even if it means deceiving those around you." Kirigiri added.

"No…" Makoto said. "No? What do you mean no?" Kirigiri questioned. "I'm not going to play like that! I'm not going to trick people into trusting me, I won't stab anyone in the back when it's a prime opportunity!" Makoto exclaimed.

"Yeah! That may be how you play the game, but the sane people won't stoop to that level!" Leon joined in. "...Hmph, alright, suit yourselves. But I guarantee another murder will happen soon, and then we'll see who's playing the game wrong." Kirigiri finished with a smirk, then exited the Dining Hall.

"So is there anything else someone wants to talk about? Because Kyoko made me lose my train of thought." Genkai asked. "There was silence after his question." Makoto thought. "*sigh* Well, since it's getting late, and i'm sure the Class Trial took a lot out of us, I'd say meeting dismis-" Genkai was then interrupted.

*Ding dong, bing bong*

Mm, ahem, this is a school announcement. It is now 10PM, as such, it is officially nighttime. Soon the functions to the Dining Hall will stop working, so there's no real reason to stay in there.

Oh, and one more thing. I have something I wanna talk about! want. Remember earlier when I compared this school to a City-State?

Well it's true! Every hour of every day, I know where you are, what you're doing, what you're saying. I sometimes see things I don't *want* to see, but that's a flaw from having so many security cameras. So you can try to hide from me all you want, but it won't work…

Anyways, enough about my cameras. Now the actual reason I'm talking to you. I came here to drop some knowledge on all of you! The burden of judging others is a heavy one to bare. So you should be aware of your actions.

Also, order and stability rely on the sacrifice and responsibility of everyone! Okay, so good night and all that shit, sweet dreams everyone!

"What t-the hell was that just n-now!?" Toko exclaimed. "*growl* I will kill him! I will kill him! I. Will. Kill. HIM!" Makoto inwardly yelled. "So what? Is he sayin' that it's our fault they died? That's pretty cruel." Leon said.

"Mondo looked like he wanted to say something, but kept looking down at his stomach." Makoto thought after calming down. "And so, the day finally drew to a close. A tense, maddening day that saw the deaths of both Sayaka and Yasuhiro…but all of this…is only the beginning…our despair has only just begun…" Makoto monologued.

A Life of Despair For Two- Chapter 2

Daily Life

*Ding dong, bing bong*

Ahem, uh, good morning everyone! It's time to get up and start this wonderful new day!

"I was awoken by the morning announcement, except there was something very off about it today…why did The Operator sound nervous and slightly…pleasant?" Makoto thought as he got up and made his way to his closet.

"I wonder what'll be in store for us today? At this point I'm honestly ready for anything he throws at me." Makoto said as he finished changing out of his pajamas and started walking towards the door.

"I went to the Dining Hall and met up with everybody else. And a little later another announcement played, the same voice as before, telling us all to go to the gym." Makoto thought.

"What's he gonna do to us this time?" Makoto said. "Most of us were practically frozen with fear. But The Operator was hellbent on getting us involved in this game…and with that in mind, it began…" Makoto ominously thought as it cut to…

Everyone was in the gym wearing exercise gear while some kind of beat was playing over the intercom. Monokuma was on stage running in place, and the giant TV was lowered down.

"Alright people, feel the burn! Only you can be the change in yourself!" Monokuma exclaimed. "Yeah, give a little effort out there." The Operator said, taking a sip of a can of soda while reading what appeared to be a comic book.

A couple more minutes passed and the music stopped, several people dropped to their knees exhausted. "Ahh, doesn't this feel invigorating!? I mean, when you're stuck inside like this, ya gotta stay healthy!" Monokuma mimicked a thumbs up as he finished.

"My legs…they burn!" Hifumi shouted. "Did we have to do it for *that* long!?" Junko exclaimed. "And where did you get these uniforms? The 1980s!?" Celeste also exclaimed. "Okay look, if you're not gonna be happy, then everyone go change and come back. I have a couple more announcements to make!" The Operator dismissed everyone.

"After we got changed, we came back to the gym to see what the announcements were, and what the first one was…well I didn't expect it." Makoto thought. "Alright so first off, I bet a lot of you are wondering "why did The Operator sound different this morning?" The Operator asked.

"Well that has to do with my first announcement. Now I'd like you all to put your hands together for my second assistant…The Assistant!" As The Operator said this, The Operator's camera changed to show someone wearing what appeared to be a grey wrestling mask, and a labcoat.

"Hello everyone. It seems this is the first time we're meeting in person…well sorta anyway." The Assistant said. "He will be taking over all announcements for a while. To give you guys a breath of fresh air…and also to give him something to goddamn do! He's just been standing around complaining about everything I do, it"s making me sick!" The Operator exclaimed.

"So anyways, The Assistant will also be informing you all about that second announcement. Now, get to work!" The voice of The Operator cut out. "Then our attention focused to the screen, we couldn't see what The Assistant's emotions currently were due to the strange mask. But honestly, I'd rather have that over a silhouette." Makoto thought.

"Well everyone, I'm sure you've waited long enough, so now the main announcement!" The Assistant clapped his hands together. "Just get to the point! Did your boss really call us down here just to exercise!?" Red-Eyed Toko shouted.

"Haha, as if he would be that generous…as if." The Assistant said in a bitter tone before switching back to normal. "No, the announcement is that the second floor has opened up for you guys!" The Assistant exclaimed.

"No way, really?" Leon asked. "After every Class Trial, a new floor will open up. I mean living on the same floor would get pretty cramped after a while. And with each floor comes some new stuff to entertain you all." The Assistant explained. "So you can go look around all you want, or you don't have to, it's whatever you guys wanna do!" The giant TV then cut off and slowly started to rise back up.

"Well, I can definitely see a tonal shift between the two." Genkai said. "But he said there's a new floor to explore! I say we investigate at once!" Taka exclaimed. "He said with each new floor there's new stuff to entertain us. What do you think he meant?" Makoto asked noone in particular.

"It could be…a way outside?" Aoi suggested. "Or just a few normal functions to keep us…entertained." Celeste also suggested. "W-Well we won't k-know until we l-look!" Chihiro suddenly shouted. "Well whatever it is, it seems we'll have to search the school one more time." Sakura said.

"Alright everyone, same as last time. Split up and start investigating." Genkai said. "And when you're done, meet back at the Dining Hall and we'll share whatever we found!" Taka added.

"You could be a two-man comedy routine, you know that?" Kirigiri said. "Oh? Well it's better than your one-person routine." Genkai snapped back as he and Taka left the gym. "At that, everyone slowly scattered and left the gym." Makoto thought as he walked down the halls and to where the gate was.

"Huh? It really isn't there anymore. Well, guess there's nowhere else to go but up." Makoto said as he walked up the stairs and entered a hallway illuminated by blue lights. "So…this is the second floor of the school? I bet Byakuya's already searching for some kinda clue regarding a way out." Makoto thought.

Makoto wandered the halls of the new floor, occasionally passing fellow students. He walked until he came across a wooden door with a "Library" sign on it. He entered to see Byakuya, Hifumi, Genkai, and Taka, all investigating the room.

"Come on Hifumi, a little help would be much appreciated!" Genkai half-yelled at Hifumi, who was doing…something. "*sigh* Great, ignore me…and where the hell did Kyoko run off to!" Genkai fully shouted, annoyed.

Taka then noticed Makoto and walked over. "Ah Makoto, welcome! Can you believe it, we have a library now, We've all been falling behind on our academics that this place is just what we need!" Taka exclaimed. "Uh…yeah, great." Makoto said with fake excitement.

"Hey Taka, what's wrong with Genkai?" Makoto asked. "Oh, Hifumi has been annoying him since the investigation began, he hasn't been doing anything to help." Taka explained. "Well that would certainly make me mad after a while. But it hasn't really been that long…actually come to think of it, Genkai acted slightly similar when Yasuhiro didn't contribute to the first investigation." Makoto started to monologue.

"Makoto! While I would no longer call this a top-school environment, daydreaming in the middle of a conversation is very rude!" Taka exclaimed." "Oh, sorry! I thought I was over that and I-" "Just work on it harder Makoto. I must continue my investigation!" Taka pumped a fist in the air before going back towards a bookshelf.

"Huh…? Well anyways, with how Genkai acted about Yasuhiro, and now Hifumi. I wonder if he has a weird form of OCD? Or there may be a simpler explanation, but I'm going with that for now." Makoto thought as he walked over to a desk with something on it.

"Whatever this is, it's old and covered in dust. Wait a second…is this a laptop!?" Makoto inwardly exclaimed. "If you want to turn it on, don't bother, I've already pressed and held the power button, but nothing happened." Byakuya said.

"Oh, it's broken? Of course it wouldn't be that easy…" Makoto said. "Well, the battery could just be dead. But right now we have no way of finding that out." Byakuya said.

Byakuya then went off and continued his own investigation, while Makoto also went off to investigate something else. He found an envelope with a red seal sitting on a dusty shelf.

"What's this…? Hope's Peak Academy?" Makoto said. "Like everything here, it was sitting under a thick layer of dust. So it was obviously there for quite a while. Well, shall we break the seal and see what's inside?" Byakuya asked.

"Well, normally I'd be against looking at other people's mail…but these aren't normal circumstances." Makoto said, breaking the seal on the envelope and pulling out a single piece of paper.

"I unfolded the paper, and read what was written in there…From the Hope's Peak Academy Executive Office." Makoto started to read.

"Throughout the years, we have been committed to shaping the youth who will one day shape the world. We have a long, proud history as an institution of higher learning with full governmental support. Our graduates enter society, ready to take on active leadership roles in every major job field. However, Hope's Peak Academy must now lower the curtain on its glorious history. This decision was not ours to make, but forces beyond our control are forcing our hand, and we have no choice but to close down. Maybe someday Hope's Peak will open its doors again, but for the foreseeable future, it doesn't seem likely." Makoto read.

By now everyone else in the library had gathered around to listen. "Wait a minute! Hope's Peak was shut down!?" Taka exclaimed. "It seems so." Byakuya responded. "B-But what does this mean? Why are we here then?" Hifumi asked. "So this might actually be an exact replica of Hope's Peak." Genkai said.

"But if Hope's Peak had stopped functioning as a school…then why do we all have these memories about preparing to come to Hope's Peak?" Byakuya asked. "I…I don't know." Makoto said. "And judging by the amount of dust on the letter, it happened *at least* a couple of years ago." Byakuya added to his question. "This is definitely something that needs to be brought up after the investigation…" Taka said.

"After this revelation, I decided I was done investigating the library, and decided to go somewhere else." Makoto thought. Makoto walked through the halls again before coming across a purple door that had a "POOL" sign at the top.

Makoto entered to see Aoi, Leon, and Chihiro standing in a room with two color-coded doors.

"Yo, Makoto! You'll never guess what we found!" Leon exclaimed. "A pool! There's a pool here! A POOL! Pool pool pool!" Aoi was clapping her hands excitedly. "Whoa! You don't gotta keep repeating it. I'm only a few feet away." Makoto said.

"And there's tons of exercise equipment in the locker rooms. Cause I got to admit…I've been slacking off a bit…" Leon said. "Well for some reason, I think Sakura will be happy about the new equipment." Makoto thought.

"These two are way more excited than usual, Aoi especially. Also, didn't think I'd see these two have a somewhat pleasant interaction." Makoto thought as he turned his head over to Chihiro.

"And Chihiro is just awkwardly standing in the corner…good for her I guess." Makoto thought. Makoto then walked over to the blue door which had a "BOYS" sign on it. "So behind this door is the boy's locker room?" Makoto said aloud.

"That's right. And it looks like you need your handbook to actually get into the locker rooms." Leon said. "Seriously…?" Makoto asked. "Seriously serious!" The all-too-familiar voice of The Operator rang throughout the room.

The Operator's silhouette then appeared on the room's screen.

"Uwaah!" Chihiro jumped. "Hey, I thought the other guy was doing the announcements!" Aoi shouted. "Yes, but this isn't an announcement you dum-dum!" The Operator laughed. "Dum-Dum!" Aoi made a pouty face as The Operator continued.

"So anyways, if you wanna unlocker that there locker room…you just gotta swipe your personal e-Handbook across the card reader next to the door." The Operator explained. "And also, to maximize safety, only a boy's e-Handbook can open the boy's locker toom. Same goes for the girls!" The Operator continued.

"Um, b-but what if s-someone tries to get in the opposite locker r-room with their e-Handbook?" Chihiro nervously asked. "Good question, well then *this* would happen!" The Operator pressed a button and suddenly a turret appeared from the ceiling and shot the ground in front of Chihiro.

Chihiro proceeded to crawl backwards towards the door, exit, and run out screaming into the hallway, The Operator laughing the whole time. "So before I go, anyone got any more questions?" The Operator asked.

"Yeah, what happens if a boy borrows a girl's handbook or vice versa? Couldn't they get in that way?" Aoi asked. "Well then…wait, I never even considered that possibility! In hindsight I really should have, the concept is so devilish, it can be used several ways…*but* I'm gonna keep things fair on this one, time for a new rule!" The Operator typed something on a keyboard and everyone's e-Handbooks made a *ding* noise.

Makoto opened his to the School Regulations, and read the new rule.

Loaning your e-Handbook to another student is strictly prohibited…for now anyways.

"There! Now everything is good again!" The Operator's right hand gave a metallic thumbs up. "Good for your standards…" Leon said. "And I highly doubt anyone was seriously considering loaning their handbooks to each other." Makoto said.

"And what does this new rule mean by "for now", anyways?" Aoi asked. "Eh, I may change or lift it at some point, who knows?" The Operator shrugged. "And if you're going out of your way to put all this security in the locker rooms, then are you gonna do the same to our dorms?" Leon asked.

"...No" Then the room's screen turned off. "Urgh, I hate him so much…" Aoi said. "Yeah, he totally killed the mood." Leon added. "I think I need to take a dip to cheer myself up." Aoi sai, heading for the girl's locker room door.

"Go on ahead with that!" leon said as the door closed. A few seconds passed then Leon turned towards Makoto.

"Alright Makoto, you'll never guess what happened!" Leon said. "Uh, I'm guessing you're about to tell me?" Makoto asked. "...Well yeah, but I'd have preferred you guessed or somethin'." Leon said.

"Anyways, me and Hina ran into each other in the hallway earlier and started to investigate together. Then we started talking, and we totally hit it off!" Leon exclaimed. "Oh uh…good for you?" Makoto said in response.

"Well I'd love to talk more, but I'm pretty sure it's almost time to meet everyone in the Dining Hall." Makoto said. "Oh, you're right!" Leon started running in place before completely sprinting out the door.

"Well…he wouldn't be the Ultimate Baseball Player if he couldn't run fast." Makoto commented. "Well, now *I* better head back to the Dining Hall as soon as possible." Makoto thought as he walked out the door and through the hallways of the second floor.

Makoto arrived at the Dining Hall to see most of the students were already there. He found an empty seat and waited for this meeting-thing to start.

"Alright, so how'd it go? Anyone discover anything interesting?" Genkai asked. "Well, there's a pool! And also locker rooms full of exercise equipment!" Leon said. "I searched everywhere. And there was nothing resembling an escape route." Sakura said.

"Yeah, same here. But me and Celeste did discover something else." Junko said. "Well what is it!?" Taka exclaimed. "Both the warehouse, and the bathhouse on the first floor are now open." Celeste continued.

"And I mean the warehouse is chock-full of food, water, clothes, and so much more, it's insane!" Junko said in slight disbelief. "So what about a fuckin' way outta here? You find that in all that stuff?" Mondo asked. "*sigh* Nope, not even a shovel to dig ourselves out with." Junko answered.

"So there was nothing!? Nothing we could use to get our asses out of here with!?" Mondo shouted. "Look, you can keep asking, but the answer won't change." Junko crossed her arms. "And besides, I'm sure you can use the new exercise equipment to get your body back in shape after your injury!" Taka said.

"...What did you say?" Mondo asked. "Well, I suggested-" "I know what you "suggested" so why don't you just…just…*sigh* I can't do this…" Mondo said, dejectedly. Then he walked out of the Dining Hall.

"What the hell was that?" Junko asked. "I'm not sure, I actually expected him to yell at me." Taka answered. "This is just my opinion…but maybe surviving a spear through the chest changed him a little." Makoto suggested.

"Well, the day is coming to a close so I say this meeting also comes to a close." Genkai suggested. "The air around us seemed to suddenly grow heavy again. Maybe this was The Operator's plan? To give us a little bit of hope, then quickly yank it away from us?" Makoto thought. "Okay, actually there is something that we found that does need to be brought up." Genkai's tone turned serious.

Byakuya placed the letter on the table. "W-What's that?" Chihiro asked. "This is a letter from the Hope's Peak Academy Executive Office. We found it in a library on the second floor, buried beneath a thick layer of dust." Genkai explained.

"If it's from the Executive Office, it must be super important!" Leon said. "Did it give us any sort of clue as to what our situation is?" Celeste asked. "In a way...it did. I'm going to rip this off like a band-aid. This letter explained that Hope's Peak shut down at least a couple of years ago." Genkai explained.

"There were many gasps throughout the Dining Hall. After a few seconds, Genkai spoke again." Makoto thought. "Everyone processed this? Well this letter has improved the possibility that this place may not be the actual Hope's Peak Academy. But an exact replica, built to suit a killing game." Genkai said.

"So what does this mean? How were we kidnapped in the first place?" Sakura asked. "...I don't know. In fact, this letter could've been planted by The Operator to send us on a wild goose chase." Genkai answered.

"So do we just...ignore the letter?" Makoto asked. "Unless we find something else to back up what the letter says, i'd say take it with a grain of salt. Alright now that that's discussed, I think we can officially dismiss this meeting." Genkai said.

"And after that, everyone slowly made their way to their dorms, after I entered mine, I found myself just sitting on my bed." Makoto thought.

*Ding dong, bing bong*

*Ahem* Um, this is a school announcement! It's now 10 o' clock. Meaning it's now nighttime! So the doors and stuff to the dining hall will be locked and shut off, so you can't go in there.

So good night everybody, sweet dreams!

"Today was exhausting. I knew putting on a mask to hide my emotions would be hard, but man…" Makoto said aloud as he got up and changed into his pajamas and got back into bed. "I wonder what they would say in this situation…" Makoto thought as he pictured Sayaka sitting beside him.

"Makoto, I know you feel guilty about our deaths. But you can't let that eat you up inside, like you said, the others need you too." She said with a reassuring smile. "Now what would Yasuhiro say?" Makoto thought as an angry-looking Yasuhiro appeared right in front of him.

"Fuck you! You got me killed you asshole!" Yasuhiro shouted.

"...*sigh* Maybe I should just go to sleep…" Makoto said as he passed out asleep.

Talks with 'Kuma

First aired November 25, XX10

A black-and-white broadcast showed Monokuma wearing a suit, sitting in a lounge chair, and holding a cigar. All while a smooth jazz intro was playing.

"Good evening, and welcome to our multi-part talk on current events." He said in a cool, calm tone of voice.

"Well first up, it seems that scientists have discovered something called a "Double Helix", now supposedly it has to do with that DNA stuff, but I'm just wondering how scientists can do that to begin with?" Monokuma continued.

"What'll they discover next? A Triple Helix? A Fourple? Who knows with those eggheads? Stay tuned for more." The smooth jazz played again as the screen faded to black.
