Fate 8: Hunt 3 (The Red Gem)

Chapter 2: Short Progress.

Main Pairing: Nodoka X Falcom (Older/Hyperdimension Version)

Other pairing: Anri X Emma

"Oh well….it's your funeral…." Anri starts to head back to Falcom and Nodoka.

Falcom finds the treasure chest and opens it up. She finds purification water. She takes it and rushes back to the cabin. She pours the water onto Nodoka's wound and heals 70% of it. "Get some rest, alright?" Falcom tells her.

"Thank you….Falcom." Nodoka closes her eyes to sleep. Falcom looks outside and hears roars in the distance. Falcom heads to the 2nd floor kitchen and makes herself a sandwich and eats it.

Anri finds Nico in a small treehouse. Anri is about to climb it when a voice calls out to her. "Anri?"

Anri turns around and finds a teen in dark heavy armor.

"Emma." Anri hugs her best friend. "Glad you're here."

"Yeah, so I found a computer and a video played." Emma said.

"I'm sure everyone got that. Hey Nico! Why don't you come down!? I wouldn't mind working with you! The more in our group the better!"

… … Nico opens up. "Oh alright….fine." Nico jumps down with her bag.

"Nico? This my best friend, Emma. She has super strength." Anri introduced her.

"I'll be the shield of this group I suppose." Emma says. Emma, Nico and Anri head out.

Meanwhile, Falcom is by Nodoka's side.

Another sister, Moma (Mammon) appears right behind the cabin outside. She sneaks in from the 2nd floor window and gets inside. She's the one who originally stole the red gem in the first place.

Moma tackles down Falcom! The two go through the window to the outside! "Where is the gem!?" Moma punches Falcom in the face! "Tell me right now!"

"Get the hell off of me!" Falcom shoves Moma down and gets her dragon slayer sword out. Moma slams her red energy war hammer down. Falcom blocks it though! Falcom kicks Moma down and runs. Moma follows her and the two girls clash with their weapons. A dead man's hand comes out of the ground and grabs Moma's right foot!

Moma stomps on it and gets a punch to the face by Falcom. Falcom chops the y dead's head off. Moma starts to run away and then trips onto a big log. Moma falls over onto a trap! Her arms get tangled in barbed wire! Falcom decides to leave her there and head back to Nodoka.

Emma, Anri and Nico are walking together. They hear heavy footsteps coming towards them. It's a bulky monster. It roars and takes Anri down! Emma punches the monster! It staggers back and groans. It's huge long poisonous tongue out, as it charges Emma.

Nico hides behind a tree…and then spots a treasure chest. "Huh?"

Anri gets back up and loads her shotgun. The monster and Emma gets into an elbow tie up. Emma headbutts the monster! The monster lifts Emma up and tosses her down. Anri shoots the creature. This….only angers it! The creature grabs Anri by the throat and lifts her up. "Graaaaagh…" It growls.

Nico has an rocket launcher! She aims at the monster. "Hey! Freak! Nico Nico Nii this!" Nico taunts the monster. It drops Anri and charges the idol girl. Nico fires! The rocket launcher flies and hits the monster and it explodes into pieces! Anri and Emma get back up and Nico walks to them. "I think that did it. That creature didn't stand a chance against me!" Nico laughs.

"I gussy your good at something huh?" Emma pats her back. The three continue moving.

…

Falcom is back with Nodoka. Falcom closes the front door and locks it up. Moma is free and her arms are all cut up…she starts heading back to the cabin. She summons her energy hammer again. "Falcom….I'll kill you! You tell me where that gem is now!" She yells at the top of her lungs.

All of a sudden! More undead come from the ground and begin to pull Moma down! She freaks out and tries to escape! She's stuck now! Her upper body is the only thing visible. She tries to get out but can't. "HELP! HELP ME!" She cried out.

Falcom does not do anything to help, she stays with a sleeping Nodoka. The power suddenly goes out.

Emma, Anri and Nico are inside another cabin that has 3 stories. "Huh? What happened to the power?" Emma wondered. Nico looks outside and sees nothing. It's too dark.

Moma is still struggling and yelling. This attracts a creature. It's big and has large claws and walks on all fours. It gets close to Moma and roars and claws her face and begins to devour her! Falcom can't barely see what's going on. Falcom hides and hears the large beast creature walk around the cabin…..it soon stops. "Phew…." Falcom said and flashes her light outside. There's nothing left of Moma's upper body. Her lower body is still underground…

Falcom hears the creature again and quickly turns her light off and ducks down. She looks at Nodoka who is still asleep. The beast sniffs around. Perhaps it smells Nodoka's dried up blood from her wound?

Dark clouds start forming as a storm is coming! Lightning flashes and thunder crashes. Rain starts pouring down! High winds blow throughout the labyrinth with creatures all over the place! The cabin shakes as the storm rages. Falcom gets in bed with Nodoka to make sure to protect her! The windows shatter! Falcom gasps and holds Nodoka tightly!

…

"Please….let this all end." Falcom thinks to herself. A creature is by the shattered window and it steps inside…..

Everything fades to black.

Falcom wakes up to the sounds of birds chirping. Nodoka is out of bed and the sun shines through the entire forest labyrinth. Falcom sits up. Nodoka Manabe is cooking breakfast. She serves up Falcom's plate. "Good morning, Falcom." Nodoka smiles at her. "Come. I made us breakfast."

Falcom gets out of bed and yawns. "Nodoka?" Falcom goes to her and hugs her from behind.

"Eh?" Nodoka blushes and then smiles. "I'm ok. I'm all better now, thanks to you."

"Nodoka….I promised I'd….we'd stick together…." Falcom tells her.

"Thank you, Falcom." Nodoka holds Falcom's hand, causing the adventurer to blush.

"I'll go ahead and eat now. Looks like we'll need to find another cabin." Falcom pulls away from Nodoka and starts to eat. Nodoka eats as well. After that each take a shower. After that is done, the two head out to explore more and look for Anri and that Idol girl.

Anri, Emma and Nico are out exploring as well.

Falcom and Nodoka explore the surrounding area. They find an empty cabin with supplies. Bags of canned food and water. Falcom takes it and she and Nodoka continue. On the other side of the labyrinth, Nico opens up a chest and finds a very light weight stick with a blade at the tip.

"Huh. This could come in handy." Nico says and looks at it more. "It's light too." Nico closes the treasure chest and walks to Anri and Emma.

"Let's keep moving." Anri said and jumps down a ditch. Nico and Emma follow her. They find a cabin that's beaten down. Anri inspects it. "Nothing here. Let's keep moving."

Beth (Belphegor) suddenly appears. She summons her red energy katana. She slashes Nico's left arm and kicks her down. Her bag falls over and her purification water rolls away. Beth cuts it in half! Anri and Emma rush to Nico's aid. Anri gets kicked in the face by Beth. Emma takes her great sword out and clashes with Beth.

"That red gem will be ours!" Beth roars.

Nico lies on the ground, holding her badly laceration to her left arm. She groans in pain.

Emma swings her claymore but Beth back flips away. Anri aims her gun at Beth and fires! Beth starts to run away. "You're not getting away!" Anri chases after her. Emma helps Nico up and takes a look at her injury.

"I can't move my arm!" Nico yells and tears form.

Emma tells her to relax. Emma looks in her bag and has that healing water. Emma pours it and it heals Nico's arm by 70%.

"Thank you…." Nico says. Anri comes back.

"She got away…." Anri has a light scratch on her face.

The three keep going. Soon night falls. Falcom and Nodoka find a new cabin. It's just one story with only one king size bed and bathroom. Nodoka is in bed, reading a book as Falcom takes a shower. The lights flicker a bit. "I hope we can escape this, together, Nodoka." Falcom says and blushes and smiles. "I'll make sure that we will."

Anri went out monster hunting. Emma is in pajamas and hangs up her armor. Nico is in bed in her own room, snoring. Her arm is bandaged up too.

Anri finds Beth. The two fight off a monster together, before fighting each other. Anri gets her machete out and clashes with Beth Of Sloth.

"For the corresponding sin of sloth, you sure are active." Anri jokes.

"I have no reason to be lazy in this situation." Beth says and spits. She resumes her clash with Anri! The two roll down a ditch! Anri punches Beth in the face multiple times. Beth grabs Anri and chokes her. Beth rams Anri head into the ditch wall a few times. Anri back elbow strikes Beth. Anri's head is bleeding.

Beth stumbles back and steps on a tripe wire. "Huh?" Beth looks up and a giant steak flies down and impales her! "GHRUWAH!" She gurgles and then drops dead. Anri gets up and kicks her. Anri then hears howling.

"Shit!" Anri gets away from the ditch and retrieved her machete and starts heading back to the cabin she found with Emma and Nico.

Falcom finished her shower. "Nodoka. I'm finished."

"Ok." Nodoka closes her book and she gets in the shower next, while Falcom dries her hair. There are no TVs or phones. Falcom checks the time that is on the bedside desk. It's 9:30 PM. Howls can be heard outside. Falcom looks out the window.

"Thank goodness I turned the porch light off…" Falcom says to herself.

Anri gets inside and treats her head wound. She bandages herself up and sees Emma sleeping. Anri smiles at her and kisses her forehead. Anri goes to sleep next to her childhood friend and….lover.

Nodoka finishes up and dries her hair, puts on her pajamas and sleeps in bed with Falcom. She's blushing deeply as she is sharing a bed with Falcom! Falcom is fast asleep. Nodoka closes her eyes and sleeps.

Nodoka starts having a bad dream. She's on the ground outside, the sky is red. She wakes up and sees cloaked figures around her. Falcom tries to move but her arms and legs are chained to the ground! A figure in red approaches Nodoka with the red gem.

"You are the key, Nodoka." The woman says and presses the gem into Nodoka's forehead! Nodoka screams in agony and then she wakes gasping for air. She pants and then looks to see Falcom still asleep. It's raining outside again. Luckily this time, it's just a shower. Nodoka checks the time. 2:33 in the morning. Nodoka sighs and lays back down, feeling her forehead.

"Why am I the key? The key to what?" Nodoka asked herself and closes her eyes to sleep again. "What if…I'm the key that reveals the red gem?"

In another cabin far away… A girl with lavender hair is checking her supply back. "Goodness. I wish I could transform…." She said. "Alright. Supplies are good to go. I should check Osaka's bag." The girl goes to Osaka's bag and checks it.

"Hehehehe….that's my melon bread…..Nepgear…" Osaka talks in her sleep and snores.

"I hope we can find others and get out of here….Neptune….what would you do in this situation?" Nepgear looks outside and wonders.

Another Sister is watching Nepgear and Osaka. It's Beelzebub (Bella of Gluttony) she's eating a piece of meat. "Only two of us left….Luci…" She jumps into the trees and heads out.
