Chapter 8

"I'm glad that you can make it today." The principal, a portly adult man who had a round egg like shaped bald head greeted them as they entered his office followed by Kamoshida. Who closed the door and then went to stand next to the principle. "Thank you Kamoshida for meeting them out the gate. I was sadly in the middle of an important call I couldn't ignore." He thanked the teacher as he stood up to greet us, which showed us he was wearing a cream colored suit.

"It was not a problem principal." Kamoshida waved of the thanks with a smile. The man named Kamoshida was a tall well built adult man with a broad square jawline and long black unkempt hair. He wears a white T-Shirt and black track pants. Said man then turned his gaze to Kasumi and me. "It gave me a moment to view my future students. So its fine." She blinked at his reply. Odd response but alright.

"Well let me formally introduce myself. I'm Principal Kobayakawa, the Principal of this school as you just heard." The principal gave a light bow to my parents, one which they returned back. The he stuck out his hand. "And I'm glad you've accepted out invitation to join our academy."

Father shook his hand and offered the man a polite smile. "We couldn't really pass of such a good opportunity. They've been working real hard to get were they are now. I'm just glad their hard work has been well received." He smiled at us, one that me and Kasumi returned.

The principal smiled back as they stopped the hand shake. "Our academy is quite proud and lucky that we were able to spot such talents. The fact it wasn't just one talent but two was quite the shock." The principals rambled on. "To win so many competitions at such a young age is quite an accomplishment." My heart plummeted at those words. That wasn't me. As he sat back on his desk he smiled at me, unaware of my thought's. "I hope under Kamoshida's instruction we can see that both of you reach bigger heights together." Said man in question smiled.

"I wont ramble on to much. Ill leave the important talk when school starts. But I'm excited to be working with you two." Said man gave us a small smile, one I shakily return my own back.

Not that it stopped the hole forming deep in her gut.

She eyed her parents, still holding the smile. "Can I go to the bathroom for a moment?" Her expression seem to not be good enough to hide her feelings as her parents gave her a worried look. "Are you alright, dear?" Her mother asked her. I nodded quickly. "I just need to use it quickly that's all." Her mother her a look till she nodded. The principal nodded with a small smile. "Its no problem. We will just be discussing what the scholarship entails. You can be briefed of what you miss when you get back. As soon as you leave the door go to the left. At the end Is the school bathrooms." I nodded as I left the office.

Not noticing Sumire's worried look as I left.

She ignored the sound of her phone getting a notification as she entered the bathroom. Sumire took her priorities more than that annoying app popping up again. The sight of her little sister whipping her face with water from the sink made her feel bad. And a bit tired? She shacked her head.

"Are you alright sis?" My question seem to shake Sumire off her thoughts as she shakily turns to look at me through the mirrors reflection.

"W-What are you doing here?" She sounded so weak. But why? "Whats wrong?" She needed answers on why she was like this? Was it the principals words? Was it something else? "Please be honest!" At seeing her trying to bring up a shaky smile I had to stop her. "I want to know what you really feel." Not knowing what was hurting her made her feel tired. Like that day. She looked at her eyes. "If its something I did please tell me. I know I don't always notice if what I say bothers you or not. And I'm sorry if I'm doing it again, but I need you to tell me." I just wanted her to be honest.

She whipped her eyes again as she fully turned to me. "I was just a bit sad about his comments is all." I was just get

"Then ignore him." "Huh?" Why does she seem shocked at my words? A soft smile spread on my face. "After all were gonna be the top gymnast in the world together. That was our promise. Right?" seeing her smile return pushed me forward. "What does It matter that he doesn't notice your talent right now? Well show him wrong! Together!" She giggled at my speech. Was it that funny?

"You know there can only be one winner right?" My smile turned into a grin. "Just because your right, doesn't mean your right." She paused for a moment. And then she started laughing. Shes making fun of me wasn't she? I held my hand out, palm facing her way. "Lets show them what were made of sis." She slowly stopped laughing and then clapped her hand against mine.

"Right." At her answer I couldn't help but hug her. Were gonna be the best. Her hugging back made smile even more. "At the end we will be the top gymnast in the world. The world will be our castle!" "Right." The girls hugged sharing a tender moment. Knowing that together they will be alright.

Neither of them noticing an odd voice.-Beginning Navigation-And neither the slow shifting of their surroundings.

Welp that took a while. As the girls finally regain their bearings together they unknowingly dive into a new set of problems. Ones they couldn't never imagine.

Skipped a week so as usual the next update will be worked on immediately and will be posted most likely either tomorrow or Saturday.

Part of the reason was mostly lack of motivation last week and partially was that my island was in line of hurricane Fionna. Power was down for 27-28 hours in my area so I couldn't work during those days. I only took some notes on the order of events for these two chapters. But thankfully I got my stuff together.

Now unto the reviews!

Jiongu-naruto: The omake ideas are interesting and I have given them some thoughts. Even more now that you brought it up. Would have to think if I should right a side story in order to imply those ideas in my head or at the end do. And I'm leaning on its own story so I don't pile in so many things in the updates and give the other readers the wrong impression. Also on a quick note. Why do you assume Shirou has Muramasa? I already gave a few hints who his Persona is. Glad your so enthusiastic about it tho.

Kanon: Sad to say school hasn't started. To put a date on it its Saturday. The day before Ren even meets the principal. And Sumire will be stressed out when school starts but for more reasons than you think. Cant answer the Morgana or the Shirou question yet, it will be answered in the next chapter. Partially, not all of them. As for the car in the Metaverse? Will have to wait till we finish the Palace and start the Metaverse infiltration. I'm glad your excited for the future of the story as always.

Thanks for the review guys and I hope to see more of them after this update. They genuinely fuel my motivation and inspiration with your various inputs/opinions.
