After Game

The fans who had come to watch their team, face the Pistons after the horrible defeat to their little brother the Clippers, all had glee and pride as they began to leave their court seats and pass the concession stands to just pour out of the Staples Centre. The few Detroit Pistons fans who had decided to watch their team went out with heavy hearts as they walked back to their cars.

In the Laker locker room, Naruto was sitting opposite his locker as he was taking a small breather, he was out of his jersey and back into some casual clothes that consisted of a black undershirt, with a black denim jacket and ripped black jeans with black Timberlands, he was dressed as a man not to be messed with. His eyes were currently closed as he stretched a bit. Just then his phone buzzed, taking it out he went to see that his Whatsapp was blowing up and seeing who was asking for him it was Dame.

Damian- Ey dawg I ain't gonna lie man, but I think the league is as easy as you said. I been on a tear myself man, had about twenty points and seven Assists from yesterday's game against the Rockets(we got the dub by the way). How about you, fam?

Naruto was going to reply but Damian beat him to it.

Damian- I'll tell you, averaging 30-something points and showing people you could actually help the Lakers win the chip. Man if you said you'd win Player of the Week the moment the season start I would have thought you was joking.

Naruto- Well you know me, I'm a humble guy so I won't brag. But how did you find out about the whole Player of the Week thing?

Damian- It's all over social man, some people be thinking you'll win the MVP this year.

Naruto- For real? Are you kidding me?

Damian- Man you know me dawg I never lie. All those threes, early career highs, and stats were going to let people start talking. You're actually looking like the Lakers star player man, while Kobe looks like the second star.

Naruto- Woah Dame hold up me and you both know ain't no way Kobe fans will make him the second man.

Damian- Facts, man already all those haters you had at the beginning of the season are already bandwagoning this train of yours.

Naruto- Even Steven A?

Damian- Nah, he's a tough cookie, but I just know come all-star break he'll crumble.

Naruto- Aight man, you be flattering me a bit, but I'm feeling a little tired so I'll catch you later.

Damian- Aight man, I'll talk to you later. I need to rest all this jet lag I'm having for the Mavs.

Naruto- You playing the Mavs? My advise, bully the three. They shouldn't have time to fix that problem with Dirk out you could get the dub.

Damian- Thanks man I'll keep that in mind. Later.

Naruto put his phone back into his pocket as he sighed. "Yo, Naruto, someone's calling for you." the blond opened his eyes as he turned to the door to see the team security guard, Wayne. He was a big muscle-built bald black man wearing a black suit and an earpiece.

"Who's that Wayne?" the blond asked as he got up from his seat. "Some kid that says you said you'd talk to him after the game." when Naruto heard this he remembered he did say that to Jaden. "Oh yeah, I forgot. It's cool, Wayne I know the kid, you don't have to worry about it." Naruto assured the man who nodded. "Okay, I'm gonna check on Kobe's interview then." the man went to the press room as Naruto went to the arena entrance to find the youngster waiting on him.

"Finally, where have you been man? I've been calling you for a while?" Jaden asked as Naruto shrugged. "My bad. I forgot I told you we could talk after the game, anyway, why are you still here aren't you going back home?"

"Well I am but I'm currently waiting on my dad he said he's coming so right now I just need to wait."

"Oh okay, well then I'll see you later." Naruto was going to return to the locker room but he was stopped. "Hey man, wait up. Aren't you going to stay with me?"

"You want me to stay with you?"

"Yeah, I mean we can take some shoots on the court." Jaden offered.

"Juug and his team needs to clean up, so we can't disturb them." Naruto replied as just then Nick walked in as he was wearing denim jeans and a denim jacket with a white undershirt. "Yooo, Naruto we need to go like asap man!" Nick went up as he caught Naruto's attention.

"Where we going?"

"Look some guy hosted a party for me and you at this club, and he wants us to come and enjoy." Nick stated as Naruto sighed. "Nick we just came back from a game, I'm a bit tired man."

"Come on man, he said the party was going to be lit and the DJ was going to get all the hot chicks, swinging what their mothers gave them, if you know what I mean." Naruto still hesitated. "Come on man, tomorrow we got an off day, plenty of time to recover, besides it's just a chill and spill. Blowing off some steam, we won't get in trouble I swear."

"Are you sure?"

Nick crossed his heart. "I swear, now let's bounce."

"Wait what about Jaden?" Naruto looked at the young teen who just shrugged. "It's cool that you thought about me, but I'll be fine, if only I was Eighteen I would have gone with y'all but I guess it's not my time, so just go and enjoy yourself, I'll just wait here," Jaden replied, as just then Juug was passing as he was heading to the court with a mop.

"Hey, Juug," Naruto called over the man who approached with a satisfied look. "Yo, wassup man, what you need man? Some water or some towels? Cause you've been on fire this early in the season, congratulate on winning Player of the Week, fam." Naruto went and gave Juug a shoulder bump hug in appreciation. "Thanks, man, but look this here is Jaden Smith, he wants to shoot on the court, so as a favour could you like allow him to shoot around?"

Juug analyzed Jaden who had a pleading look. "For you sure, and for the fact, he's Will Smith's kid and he's in the Karate Kid. I'll teach him my stepback...you know!" Juug went to imitate a step back as the three just laughed. "Yeah Juug, you are always a comedian man," Nick stated as Juug looked at the man. "Come on Nick, you know I taught you that Corner Three. You know the Corner is my spot!" he imitated shooting from the entrance to the rim.

"Uh-huh. Just take care of the kid would ya." Nick stated as he and Naruto walked away.

10:15 PM

Naruto and Nick pulled up in Nick's limo and when the car stopped in front of the club's entrance, those who were waiting in line thought about who was going to come out and when the doors opened and they revealed Naruto and Nick. The patrons didn't boo but applaud since most of them saw the game and some saw the highlights. As they passed the entrance Nick fist-bumped the security guard as he introduced Naruto to, Benny the night club's security guard. A rather big burly black man, with dreadlocks and a mean biker beard.

When they got into the club the entire place was buzzing with music, women were all over the place as men were there checking them out, making their way through the crowd and luckily not being noticed by the DJ they were able to blend in for a minute. As they headed to a bar as they ordered some drinks. Taking a couple and cheering for their early success they bth had a good time.

Naruto was drinking down like he had never before, for some reason all this alcohol didn't affect him. It might have been the fact as a teen he kept taking sips of his Aunt's stress relieving sake. Compared to that drink of his aunt this was child's play. The blond talked to so many girls at the night club that the fact he was a literal NBA player and his game was at a level he could pull girls from other guys who were trying caught all their attention.

When some of the guys went to confront him, Naruto just simply showed them not to mess with a blond karate-knowing Uzumaki. Without even laying a finger Naruto just put on his mad dog face and it had the men knowing not to mess with him. He was for a fact the reason why people say never mess with a man wearing black Timbs, it would be suicidal.

He currently sat on a couch as a couple girls were sitting beside him. Nick had left early to the other side of the club so Naruto wasn't sure what he was doing but the fact these girls were busy groping him, made the fact he had a game out of his mind.

The next day Naruto wasn't sure what happened but he woke up in an unknown room and was he...completely wasted. He was literally drooling on the floor as his hair was on his eyes. Groaning Naruto got up as he whipped the drool off his face. Just what the hell happened last night? Looking around he found his Timbs safely tucked in the corner of the room, checking his pants he noted his wallet was nowhere to be found.

'So Nick was right...some of these girls be gold-diggers.' Naruto thought as he wore his jacket that was safely on the floor. 'Luckily there was only $50 in there.' Naruto thought since he left his cards in Nick's limo for safe keeping, as he opened the door of the room and much to his surprise he was standing in front of a cleaning lady.

"Morning." Naruto greeted the woman who just greeted back. "Good morning, sir." she replied. "Quick question where am I?" Naruto asked.

"You are at the Downtown LA Proper Hotel." she stated as she pointed to her uniform that had the hotel's name. "Oh, that's just a couple blocks from my apartment, thanks." Naruto thanked the woman as he went to the main lobby of the hotel.

"Checking out sir?" the man behind the desk asked as Naruto nodded. (A/N Can someone tell me the name of the man that works in the lobby in a hotel, I'd appreciate it.) "Yeah, I'd like to check out." Naruto replied.

The bill was only $302 which Naruto happily paid with a cheque since he didn't have any cards. He was rather lucky that the hotel did indeed still use cheques, anyway after paying the bill which didn't make a dent in his stacked bank account he took a taxi back to his apartment. Arriving home the blond just took an ice-cold shower as he drank some water just to keep his hangover at bay. Sitting on the couch he decided to spend his morning watching some TV, currently playing was Season 1 of Game of Thrones so he was in for a ride.
