You have until midnight to vacate the Cair and return to the world from whence you came; if you fail to comply, we will unleash the fury of our forefathers on this country, and should you survive the onslaught, you will bitterly regret that you ever came to this land. Doubtless the lot of you still think Aslan has brought you to Narnia for a sacred plan, so I suggest you believe this: Fletcher's death was no misunderstanding. We arranged it. We negotiated with the Bákuradi to have him killed. We wield the power and will to take the lives of your friends; if you insist on staying here, then we will commence with their execution.
These are the terms. There will be no negotiation nor compromise. We are the True Narnians, and ours is the power. You are invaders, and yours is the right to leave.
NARNIA FOR NARNIANS!
Mrs. Macready lay on the floor, her face bone white and still, and the doctor rose up from the floor and turned to the professor.
"She's dead."
Digory Kirke let out a long-held sob and wagged his head, holding his hand over his mouth. "How did this happen?"
There was a knock on the open door, and the children came in wide-eyed and white. "I think we know how it happened, Sir," said Peter, sounding as if he were about to be sick. "We gave this cordial to her for her birthday."
The professor took the note in trembling hand and read it aloud...
DEAR PROFESSOR:
THE FACT THAT YOU ARE READING THIS LETTER MEANS THAT WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISHED OUR MISSION. THE CORDIAL THAT THE FOUR CHILDREN DRANK WAS A CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR THEIR INVASION OF OUR COUNTRY. IF YOU DO NOT DESTROY THE WARDROBE AND EVERY OTHER PORTAL INTO OUR WORLD, WE WILL KEEP COMING BACK TO YOURS. AND MARK OUR WORDS: YOU AND THE MACREADY WILL BE NEXT.
SINCERELY,
AN ENEMY UNNAMED
"I must know," said Kirke. "Who is the enemy unnamed?"
Peter looked even more nauseated.
"If I reckon right," he said..."he's someone we struck a bargain with."
AND NOW, ON WITH TODAY'S INSTALLMENT OF IMAGES...
Prompt #26: Since everyone knew that the White Stag would give wishes if you caught him, there must have been previous chases. What did at least one Narnian plan on wishing for?

17 OCTOBER 1015...
"We know you and your group were hunting it," said Peter. "You couldn't get rid of us, so you tried to wish us back into our world."
The creature kept leaning against the cage wall, folding his arms over his chest and staring off into nowhere.
"You know its moods," said Peter. "You know where it's bound to show up. You know where it wants to hide. And while Narnia may be a small country, it would take more than a night and a day to cover it all by horse." The High King's voice took on a pleading tone. "We want you to help us find it."
There was a long silence…and Harlow turned to the King. "You want that treaty with Taresh Kazan," he said. "Your Aslan's going to try and stop it, so you're going to wish it into existence and override his will." The mouse gave the King a smug smile. "What's in it for me if I help?"
Peter looked a little disgusted. "You'll have your freedom...your amnesty...and one percent of all wealth we incur."
The mouse stared dully at him. "Make it two."
Another long silence, then Peter nodded. "Deal."
