Secret Crisis: Battleworld Chapter 9
"Everyone okay?" Asked Sara trying to get a head count.
Everyone on the ship looked around to see everyone was accounted for.
"Murdock? Come in!" said Moon Knight
All he got was silence.
"Batman? Ground team? Anyone respond"
More silence.
"Damn it!"
"Hey! What matters is we made it out alive." Explained Sara.
"Right. Where to next?" Asked Marc.
"Warworld. I believe Miss Romanoff's contact and her team is on sight?" Asked Loki.
"Already on it." Explained Natasha
Warworld Arena,
Yelena Belova was leading a splinter cell strike force within Warworld that consists of her Thunderbolts teammates of Red Guardian, Abomination, Taskmaster, Zemo, US Agent, Ghost and Winter Soldier. Along with some new additions from the famed Task Force X that includes, Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Harley Quinn, King Shark and Ratcatcher-2.
"Sis come in"
"I'm a little bit busy Natasha" said Yelena.
"We're on our way to you. Keep an eye on Clark and the others." said Natasha
"Wait you manged to get out of the dome?"
"We had a little help" she explained.
"Alright. I got visual on Danvers and Kent. They're about to do their usual rounds" Explained Yelena.
"Alright stay safe. We'll be in touch." said Natasha.
"What are we working with?" Asked Bloodsport walking up to Yelena.
"Mongul once again out in person seeing his prized champions. It's going to be a hell of a fight when all this kicks off." said Yelena putting away binoculars.
"Can't even tell how many years is been staking this place out." said Bloodsport
"Long enough" said Yelena.
"Right. I'll gather the others so we can resume the routine until you give the word boss" said Bloodsport.
"Everyone resume the positions. This is it" he continues on the comms.
"Roger that!" said Walker.
At the area itself, Superman and Supergirl entered the battle area with the crowds cheering them on.
"Another day another fight?" Asked Kara.
"Another closer to the last" said Clark.
"Blonsky you're up" said Yelena
The doors open to reveal their next opponent as The Abomination.
"Remember Blonsky, let them know the pka before they Wail on ya into oblivion" said Walker.
"Wail is putting it very lightly isn't it John?" Asked Zemo
"Just shut up on the open channel before they know something is up" said Ghost
"We're in an arena with thousands of screaming people, it'll be hard for them to hear us even with their super heating" adds Taskmaster.
"Good point" said Yelena.
"Right. Everyone in position?" Asked Bloodsport.
"Set" said Peacemaker
"Ready" said Ratcatcher-2
"Ready when you are" said Harley
"Nanaue?" Asked Bloodsport
"He is ready as am I" said Red Guardian
"Put on a show Blonsky"
New York dome, Peter Parker's Grave
"Alright this is where my dad is buried." said Annie May
"I didn't bring a shovel" said Peter-5
"Should we feel bad about defiling we'll, our grave?" Asked Peter-6
"I mean we're technically doing it to bring one of us back from the dead. Hopefully not like Pet Cementary" said Peter-4
"Wait Pet Cementary?" Asked Miles.
"Let's just leave it at worst case scenario if this works." Explained Gwen.
Oliver arrived to bring forth Peter-1's casket before them as he opened it up.
"We don't have a lot of time." he adds.
Annie-May steps forward holding her totem.
"Alright dad. Prepare to wake up soon."
Back at the arena,
Clark and Kara were dodging and rolling under Abomination trying to avoid the gamma being's attacks.
"LISTEN! We don't have a lot of time" said Blonsky trying to grab one of the two.
"Wait what are you talking about?" Asked Kara getting grabbed.
"We're here to rescue you. I'm part of a team to bust everyone out of here" Emil explained.
Clark shoulder tackles Abomination down as the crowd goes crazy.
"So why fight us?" Asked Clark.
Abomination grabs Clark and slammed him on the ground, pinning him.
"Playing the part. All planned." he explained.
"Speaking of which, how was this supposed to go down again?" Asked Bloodsport.
"But time until Natasha and her team arrives" said Yelena.
"Oh for fuck sake" said Bloodsport.
Back at Peter's grave, Oliver placed his body as the other Peters gathered around holding their totems.
"Gather around. The totems should activate once everyone is in place." Explained Oliver.
Annie-May, Peter-2, Peter-3, Peter-4, Peter-5 and Peter-6 took their positions. Each of them along with Annie-May held the totem with the artifacts beginning to glow.
