Secret Crisis:Battleworld Chapter 10
Superman hurls Abomination with a left hook, sending the gamma monster on one of the walls of the arena..
"It's over Abomination! You're beaten!" shouts Kara getting the crowd riled up.
"I'm not sure how much longer I can last" said Blonsky.
"Don't worry, you're right on schedule with our plan" said Yelena looking over at Bloodsport.
"Ohh I'm gonna be sore in the morning" groaned Abomination.
"Not as much as Kara will be"
Bloodsport takes position, using various parts on his suit to create a gun and armed it with a Kyrptonite bullet.
"Bloodsport is in position" said Peacemaker
"Copy that." said Yelena.
"You wanted to know how I ended up in prison right? You're about to find out" said Bloodsport.
"Take the shot" said Yelena.
Bloodsport fired the weapon from his hidden position. The kryptonite bullet hits Kara through her clean as she falls to her knees.
This grabs the attention of Mongul.
"Alright Harley. Bring the boom" said Yelena.
"Okey dokey Widow Chokey!"
Harley loads up an RPG with the warhead ready to go.
"BOOM!"
She fired the RPG making direct contact with Mongul.
"Got him!" shouts Harley.
"OKAY PEOPLE MOVE IT! TO THE ARENA NOW!!" ordered Yelena.
"This part of the plan?" Asked Bloodsport.
"They're taking too long so, no. It's improvised" Yelena explained
"Oh for fuck sake" said Bloodsport.
The Thunderbolts and The Suicide Squad all regrouped in the area next to Kara, Clark and Abomination.
"Who the hell are you guys?" Asked Kara clenching her wound.
"Your bloody rescue. Oh right. Sorry for shooting you yeah? Old habits" said Bloodsport.
"Was pissing off Mogul part of the plan?" Asked Clark.
"Kind of" said Yelena
Mongul rises up from his seat and leaps in front of the team.
"You have made a grave mistake." said Mongul
"Shit" said Yelena
The team trained their guns on Mongul waiting to see if he makes the first move.
"Just waiting on the order" said Walker.
Yelena checks her tracker as it was beeping faster and faster.
"Fall back" she ordered.
"Wait what?" asked Zemo.
"Trust me. We're outmatched"
Clark picks up Kara and follows Yelena taking a few steps back.
"Cowering under the Might of Mongul?" he asked.
"Space ship!" said King Shark pointing up to the sky.
Everyone looks to the sky to see The Waverider literally land on top of Mongul.
The Waverider door opens up as our cake Sara, Barry and Natasha.
"Lance? My God you've gotten fat" said Yelena
"Just shut up and help us get Kara to the medbay" said Natasha
"Whoops! Almost forgot" said Harley pressing a detonator.
Harley planted C4 at the holding cells where Sam, Buck and The Canaries all were held along with countless others. They all were freed with the Avengers joining the others on board the Waverider.
The ship takes off as the trapped gladiators all circled around Mongul.
Barry and Sara help Kara on the medbay, laying her down.
"Took a bullet for the team huh?" Kara joked
"Yeah. All part of the plan" said Barry.
Yelena walks in to check on Kara.
"Is she okay?"
"Just how did she get shot with a Kryptonite bullet exactly?" Asked Barry.
"It was part of my improvised plan to buy time" said Yelena.
"A plan that almost went sideways in the worst way" adds Bloodsport
"And you are?" Asked Sara
"Bloodsport" he said shaking her hand.
Superman then walks in.
"Is she gonna make it?"
"We'll fix her up in no time" assured Sara.
"I made sure the shit wasn't lethal. The bullet went through didn't it?" added Bloodsport.
"Get comfy newbie. We got a Fortress to steal from next" said Sara.
"I'll contact Scott and his team" said Yelena.
Sara makes her way to where she kept the Iron Spider armor and picks up the helmet.
She let's out a sigh, picks it up and placed it on her forehead, closing her eyes.
"Don't worry Peter. We're almost there."
Sara felt tears roll down her face with a reignited flame of hope in her heart.
"Sara?"
She turns to see Ava behind her.
"Oh hey" said Sara putting the helmet down.
"You doing alright?" Ava asked.
"Yeah, yeah just, excited I guess." said Sara.
Ava goes to hug her
"Oh you have no idea how much I needed that" said Sara.
"I'm sure Peter will appreciate all this effort your making to bring him back and set things right." said Ava
Sara only nods as she cries.
Ava placed a kiss on her lips.
"And I don't think you have any idea how much I missed you" she tells her.
The two women shared a lovers embraced that felt like the flames of a Phoenix rising from the ashes.
"Co-Captains for life babe" said Ava.
"Co-Captains for life"
Back at Peter Parker's grave,
The totems continue to glow bright restoring his body from the years of decomposing back into his flesh and blood.
The totems stopped glowing as Peter Parker's body has been resorted.
"Did it work?" Asked Peter-2
"Indeed it has. Now we must take the body to someplace safe" said Oliver.
"It'll be where it needs to be" said Annie-May to herself.
"Take us to the Waverider" she tells him.
Peter-3 goes to pick up Peter-1 to carry his body. Oliver then transports the Spider-verse back on board the Waverider appearing before everyone.
"Annie-May?" Asked Sara.
"We did it" she said
"Now we need the Symbiote" said Peter-3
Sara then almost collapsed at the sight of Peter-1 to the point where she was a loss for words.
"Peter?" Asked MJ
"This resurrection is a two part process. Now we need to lay him to rest until we complete the final part" Explained Oliver.
"I'll take him to the medbay" said Eddie.
