IMPORTANT:

Naruto's subplot, is an unofficial Sequel to "Twist of Fate" by "KonohasBlackReaper". I have no idea if this is where the Author was going, probably not.

While reading that story, isn't necessary for my fic, it would act as supplementary material. And is a very good read, I can't recommend it enough.

• Chapter:

It was only a few hours, after Naruto completed his Jonin Exam. He immediately came back to his new home, in the Senju Compound. Then took a shower, "by order of the Hokage". Followed by a Celebratory dinner of Ramen.

After which, was an emotionally wrenching talk, with Tsunade. Where she apologized for not being there, when he was a child. Complete with a promise to be there, from now on.

And now, with the night ending, and the sun raising in the distance, Naruto was laying on the roof... with Gaara.

Naruto still felt a little awkward, around his friend. Not knowing what to do with him, now that they were Dating. The Blonde could only imagine how Zabuza would react.

"Did I ever tell you," Naruto began, looking out at the Sunrise. "When I was 10... I ran away from Konoha..."

Gaara just stared blankly, but Naruto could tell, he was intrigued.

"I... someone tried to kill me, and the idiot told me how I was the Kyubi. For a Shinobi, the dumbass didn't know the first thing about Sealing. That's how I met my Sensei, Zabuza... and Itachi... and Kisame... I travelled the world for 2 years. Training under the three of them.

"Zabuza even took me on, as his disciple. Training me in various sword techniques... Everyone kept telling me how I changed the Mist Demon's heart, and saved his soul, but all I did was talk... I did the same for Itachi.

"When I was 11, we killed the Kage of the Mist. Kisame and Itachi helped. Then Kisame took over as leader of their village. The rest of us stayed in the village, for about a year, As a real Shinobi team.

"Most of our missions, involved gathering survivors of the Bloodline Massacres. The former mist Kage, ordered that all clans with Bloodline powers, be hunted down, and killed.

"Zabuza was chosen, to find the Survivors, because Kisame believed I would be able to convince them how sorry the village was... and that we wanted them back.

"That's how we found Kimimaro. I convinced him to abandon Orochimaru, and not only return to the mist, but join Zabuza's team... but most importantly... I convinced him that his life had value. That he was more then just a broken tool... Kimimaro was very sick, although still in the early stages... Tsunade later cured him, but it wasn't looking good for a while."

Naruto shook his head, "When I was 12, Zabuza got a job, from his old Missing-Nin contacts. It was a request to help attack a small village, that didn't even have any Shinobi of their own. Kisame thought it be good PR, if we helped the village instead.

"That's where we met Kakashi, and Team 7... as the village already asked Konoha for help. The bad guy ended up hiring Orochimaru... who only took the job to get Kimimaro back.

"It was sickening, hearing Orochimaru speak with false parental concern... and I learned, Orochimaru had used Kimimaro's body... in other ways..." Naruto shuddered. "The Kyubi came out, and I thoroughly kicked that snake's ass... along with all the bandits."

Naruto allowed a chuckle, to repress the thoughts of Orochimaru, with happier ones. "The small village, I helped protect, named a bridge after me."

"Before we parted ways, with the Konoha Shinobi, Kakashi told us the Chunin Exam was coming up soon. He extended an invitation to the Mist, from the Hokage."

"When we reported to Kisame, he thought it be good for me, if I rubbed it in my old village's face, that I had made something of myself... but the whole time... I was panicking about seeing the old man again."

"Turns out, Sarutobi was just worried about me, after learning from Kakashi's Summons, that I was working for the mist. He wasn't mad, or trying to convince me to come back... he was just happy to see me...

"The Villagers were as cruel as ever, but it wasn't as bad, because Zabuza growled at anyone who looked at me funny." Naruto full out laughed. "One guy, that tried to refuse to sell me something, freaking wet himself, when Zabuza let out a speck of killing intent.

"I... wanted to burn the village to the ground, but I rose above it. defended the Village from... well... you."

Gaara gave a blank stare, this one looking bashful, to Naruto's eyes.

"After that little mini war, the old man was badly injured, and decided to look for the next Kage of Konoha. Hiring my team to go on the Mission with Jiraiya.

"I knew Jiraiya for years before this," Naruto shrugged. "He was one of my teachers, secretly making sure Zabuza was doing right by me. I didn't know that until just then... I thought he was just some old guy, that was friends with my parents.

"Anyway, we found Tsunade, she pissed me off by disrespecting the old man, and all the Hokage's before him... I declared I would be the next Hokage... Much to Zabuza's shock.

"I was happy, in the Mist, and I never talked about my dream, of one day returning to Konoha.

"Anyway, after I completed an impossible task, to prove to her how serious I was. She decided to return to Konoha. So she could keep the Hokage hat warm for me.

"Her first act, as Hokage, was to talk to Kisame, about transferring me back to Konoha. Granting me, and my whole team, duel citizenship. I don't have to tell you how rare that is, for Shinobi. But to ease things, Zabuza was named ambassador to our estate. We all got our own Apartments, in the Shinobi district.

"Now Grannie-Sama tells me, that was always meant to be temporary. But Jiraiya took me for more extensive training, before she even had a chance to promote me to Chunin, let alone bring me to the Senju estate... apparently, she was already in the Adoption process... when Jiraiya requested our training mission.

"I don't regret that, as I got to train with my godfather. Even learn from Shinobi Masters, as I travelled all over the world.

"Our year at Yokai Academy, was a blast for me. Me, you, Haku, and Kimimaro... going to school with Monsters... I honestly didn't expect it too be so much fun." Naruto laughed. "But Now, Grannie-Sama is having me use Shadow clones, to teach her research department, everything I learned. I'm just glad I thought to download everything to my laptop."

Shinobi might have computers, but they were the size of a house. The laptop truly floored the Research teams... especially when they found Naruto's Stash, of furry porn... although that may be for different reasons...
