After everything was all done and over with, everyone was having a good game of baseball.

"It's a beautiful day for baseball here in Green Hills with the debut appearance of TWO NEW PLAYERS!" Sonic spoke over the mic. "On the mound from all the way across the galaxy, Miles 'Tails' Prower!"

Tails was on the pitcher's mound and waved a little to those who were there.

"Facing off against the powerhouse, Knuckles the Sandslash!" Sonic adds

Knuckles looked at his bat.

"Umm...I don't understand." Knuckles comments. "Why am I angry at the enemy ball?"

"You're not angry." Sonic responds. "you just wanna hit it as hard as you can and run around the bases."

"But if my quest ends where I am standing...why run at all?" Knuckles questioned

Sonic groaned a little and said, "I can't with this guy. Why do I even try?"

"This is just a game, we're out here having fun." Maddie comments

"Just having some fun." Tom adds

"Fun? Huh." Knuckles comments

Sonic bolted over behind Knuckles with Umpire gear on.

"Come on, give him the heat Tails!" Sonic comments

"Hope you're ready for my fast ball." Tails comments

"Your fast ball will be dishonored. And so will you, Vulpix." Knuckles comments getting ready

"Whoa, easy there, just keep your elbow up, eye on the ball, and give it a ride!" Tom responds

Tails prepped his fast ball pitch.

"A ride? To where?" Knuckles questions

Tails pitched his fast ball, and Knuckles stood there, getting ready. However, he had an idea.

"POWER BUMP!" Knuckles comments, giving the ball a big punch

Various people had to dive out of the way, Tails ducking as the ball went straight through the scoreboard entirely.

"Ha! Victory is mine!" Knuckles said, tossing his baseball bat to the ground

"Hey, no fair! That shouldn't count!" Tails comments

As Knuckles went around the bases, Tom and Maddie looked at each other.

"I think that was our only ball." Tom comments

"Alright." Maddie comments, looking over to the others. "Who wants ice cream?"

Everyone cheered and went over, Knuckles reaching the home base.

"I am having the fun!" Knuckles comments before walking over. "What is ice cream?"

"It's a dessert. If you like fun, you're gonna LOVE it." Sonic said

"Dessert? Yum." Knuckles comments. "Does it have grapes in it?"

Sonic rose an eyebrow as he said, "No, not usually."

As Tom and Maddie walked over, Tom smiled.

"I'm proud of our blue devil." Tom comments

"I really like his new friends, especially the Sandslash." Maddie commented. "He cracks me up."

"He's got a heck of a swing, too." Tom states

"Come on, Vulpix, our dessert adventure awaits." Knuckles said, picking up Tails with one arm as he heads for the truck

As they headed to the truck, except for Tom and Sonic at first, Tom kneeled down next to Sonic.

"I'm happy for ya, pal. You got your wingmen. Perfect friends for you and your siblings to grow up with." Tom stated

Over at the truck as Maddie put her baseball supplies in the back seat of the truck and Ozzy got in the back, Tails had flown with his robotic tails into the back bed of the truck.

"Come on, Knuckles." Tails said

"Ah, my victory carriage!" Knuckles comments, hopping into the back of the truck with a light thud

Sonic looks back at Tom.

"I got a lot more than that...dad." Sonic responded to the Doughnut Lord

Tom smiled a little.

"Race ya to the truck." Tom comments, getting up. "Onetwothreego! Don't go easy on me, I want your best!"

Sonic only beat Tom to the truck by a few seconds. Tom then gets in the driver's seat as Sonic landed in the back truck next to Tails and Knuckles.

"Sonic, i've just been told they have sprinkles!" Knuckles said

"Ice cream AND sprinkles?" Sonic comments. "This is your new destiny."

"What a perfect meal for me to celebrate my victory over you in base of ball!" Knuckles said

"What?" Tails scoffed

"I mean, you barely beat me." Sonic adds

"Ha! You've never been beaten so hard!" Knuckles responds

As the truck drove off, there was one important thing left on the field. The cooler containing the Master Emerald. Sonic zipped over to it and picked it up.

"Can't forget this." Sonic comments, zipping off again

At the site of the remains of Robotnik's machine, some GUN soldiers were working on cleaning and searching for Robotnik.

"Agent, I want an update." Walters said as one of the agents walked over

"Still searching, sir. We haven't found any sign of Robotnik." The soldier said

"No one could've survived that crash. He's toast. And good riddance." Walters stated. "What a mess that lunatic made..."

One of the other soldiers was actually Agent Stone in disguise.

"Sir, there is something else." The soldier stated, getting a look from the general. "When we were wiping Robotnik off our database, we found something. A file buried deep in our system and dating back over 50 years."

Walters rose an eyebrow and said, "What was it?"

"Coordinates, sir." The soldier responds

"Coordinates? To what?" Walters questions

Then, the view cuts to some sort of facility.

A secret research facility, it was a black site, sir.

In a lab somewhere in the facility, a pod was lifting from the floor, giving off steam.

Someone worked very hard to keep this hidden

In the pod was some sort of black and red Greninja, looking as if it were in stasis.

Then, the Greninja's eyes sprung open and began glowing
