Elder Fang didn't seem surprised by Luna's mother's request, he was still calm but only with a thoughtful look in his eyes while Azure seemed only slightly surprised. However, Luna felt quite uncomfortable because of Marina's question, because she herself could have asked if she wanted to, but she had a reason why she didn't. Luna used to try to control her powers, that's how she discovered that she could sense a presence, but the way she discovered it wasn't the best. At first, she would feel a big headache, difficulty breathing, and then she would be tired. It would get easier with time, but the first few episodes terrified Luna so much that she didn't dare try to develop her abilities, especially after she tried to recreate the force field she used to save Maya.
She was only 11 years old then, and it was winter. Luna and the twins were at a spring in the forest not too far from her house, and because of the cold weather, the wild pokemons were in their shelters at that time. That's why it seemed like an ideal place for Luna to try to use one of her abilities again. For the first half hour, nothing happened no matter how much she focused, but Luna was determined to succeed, so she began to think about how to make the barrier again. It dawned on Luna that both times she had been in a life or death situation, she thought that if she tried to simulate such emotions or remember those situations in detail she might be able to succeed. Any experienced and reasonable person would immediately see that this was a bad idea, but Luna was just a child and desperately trying to learn to control her abilities. So Luna tried to focus on her idea while the twins continued to play in the snow nearby trying to give her space and peace. Luna tried to remember the night she'd met the twins and focused on the little evacuee that happened and every emotion she felt then, like a nightmare about that incident. Luna began to feel her body slowly getting warmer until it started to ache and burn, but she ignored it and tried to hold on. After that, energy started to surround her, but soon everything took a turn for the worse. Luna began to feel strong pains in her whole body, especially in the area of her heart and head, her vision began to blur and she began to lose control. A second later, everything went black. The last thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital attached to various machines and being told that she had been in a coma for a week and that during that time her heart had stopped a couple of times. After that, Luna's parents forbade her to ever try to control her abilities again. When she returned home, she found out that instead of a force field, she made some kind of energy explosion and created a crater with a diameter of about fifteen meters and a depth of several meters.
The twins were lucky they weren't too close so they got away with a couple of sprains and a few bruises and scratches and Luna was happy that she managed to make it out alive at all. That why wasn't clear to Luna why her mother asked to be trained, after all she was a different species from them who shouldn't have possessed such power in the first place. No matter how good Luna was at hiding her emotions from her face, she couldn't control her aura. Fang noticed Luna's fear and distress at Marina's purring. It was so noticeable that even the most inexperienced rioul could feel it. Knowing that Luna's parents wouldn't understand a word, he just nodded in agreement, not wanting to further upset Luna to lead. Marina kept thanking Fang for a whole minute.
,, By the way, Luna, Maya and Matt stopped by recently to see if there was any news about you and to see when you were going to stop by. After all, we've been seeing you for almost two years." Josh informed Luna, which made her feel guilty. But that didn't last long because Luna as well as Azure and Fang felt someone approaching the room they were in. Sunny quickly unlocked the door with her telekinesis, while Luna prepared to end the video call. ,, Looks like we should go. I'll get back to you tonight as well, if I can. I love you." To which Josh replied.,, See you soon kids. Raichu buddy take care of them for me." To which Raichu replied with a smile and a bent paw in an attempt to mimic a thumbs up. - No worries partner. You know I won't let anything happen to them.- At which Josh laughed and Luna ended the call, at the moment when the nurse, to whom Luna entrusted Raichu, rushed in. "Sorry to intrude..." The nurse stopped when she saw Raichu in Luna's arms and let out a sigh of relief. "I see Raichu found you on his own. I was worried when we couldn't find him for the final check." Luna knew from the beginning that something like this was going to happen, because Raichu doesn't like going to the doctor at all, just because of some of his fighting pokemon pride. Luna commented in an attempt to appease the hungry overdramatic pokemon. Knowing how Sunny is when she's hungry or bored, she didn't she wasn't sure if she should take her with her to the shop, so as not to cause a commotion. It was a small shop after all. Raichu understood within a second and suggested himself. -Twin, Azure and I will be waiting for you in front while you and Elder Fang finish. That way Sunny won't be able to do any damage.- Raichu said the last part with a joking tone as Sunny pouted at his comment. -I never cause trouble. You just don't have a sense of humor and fun .- Star just shook his head and mumbled -I find it hard to believe I'm related to you, sometimes.- Luna agreed with Raichu. Right outside the store there were several benches to sit on. Raichu and the others sat down on the which was closest to the shop and Luna i Fang entered the shop.
When Luna and Fang entered the store, they first looked for the store owner. Although it didn't last long, because at the opposite end of the store, an elderly man with a long gray beard and green eyes was sitting at the cash register, who waved at them as they approached him. "Welcome to my humble shop. I assume you're not from around here, so let me introduce myself. I'm Liam." Luna extended her hand to greet the shop owner without hesitation. Fang looked around and recognized some things like evolution stones, several types of pokemon balls, but there were also some things he didn't recognize.
Fang noticed out of the corner of his eye that Luna was taking some kind of vials with some strange liquid or balls in them. Luna noticed Fang's curiously look and turned to him and held out the vials in front of her. "Last night, when I was treating Luka, I used a lot of broad-acting antitoxin. I've also made stun bombs using these sedation drops." Luna explained to him, pointing to the vials. Fang found it odd that Luna carried sedation drops with her, but he decided he'd ask her about it later. Luna, on the other hand, continued to take the necessary medical supplies in a larger amount than usual, knowing that she would not be returning any time soon. Fang noticed on the middle shelves some unusual rectangular objects with some strange symbols on them. Luna noticed that Fang was looking at the books and decided to help him. "These are books. Unlike Fang, Luna had a feeling she knew exactly what happened so she sighed heavily, whispering, "Not again." Fang looked at Luna expecting an answer. ,, If I had to guess, Sunny probably caused some trouble and the others went after her." Luna told him and was about to go look for them but Fang stopped her. - Instead of rushing around, we could just follow their aura trail.- Fang suggested and closed his eyes for a moment, trying to concentrate on locating the auras of their friends, which he did in an hour. - This way.- Fang pointed with his paw in the direction of the city park, and then they both quickly started looking for them. Which wasn't hard for them since Fang knew the exact path and after a few minutes you could hear Sunny yelling at someone as well as Raichu yelling at Sunny.
When they arrived they saw Raichu and Star trying to stop Sunny and Prinplup from fighting.- Azur. can you explain to me what's going on.- Azur kji just watched from the side not knowing what exactly to do to help other than explain the situation. - Of course Elder Fang. Sunny and Star smiled knowing full well Raichu's behavior while Azure looked a bit confused. - Why did you scare prinplup like that.- Azur asked him, while Fang already had an idea of what it was about.
"I'd like to know that too." Luna asked him with a very angry expression on her face, as if she was ready to kill someone. -I'm just doing my duty. That idiot should know better how to behave around my little girl.- Luna just exhaled and said, "You really can't be helped. And how did you get the idea that I couldn't solve it myself." Luna tried to make it seem like she was old enough to make her own decisions and conversations. And if she wanted to find a boyfriend, she could easily do that, but Raichu is sometimes worse than her dad. - You're too nice, that's why. After buying food at the bakery, Luna and her friends sat down outside the city in a nearby clearing to eat. Luna took out a blanket for everyone to sit down and distributed the food to everyone. Of course Sunny was the first to attack her food as if she hadn't eaten in days, while the rest ate slowly and enjoyed the warm afternoon sun. That's why I'm afraid of my powers, I'm too weak to control them."
Raichu hugged Luna tightly, as did Sunny and Star who were trying to wipe the tears from her face.
