BGM: Deep Sea Domain (Shantae and the Seven Sirens)
The group dropped down onto the platforms and walked ahead where they would see the entrance to the labyrinth inside where they all proceeded to go in.
Once they walked in, they would immediately come across a control panel. "Oh, another one of these?" Weiss wondered.
"Hmm…" Sky rubbed her chin and then pressed a button to turn it on. "Aha! It worked!"
"Can anyone hear me! Hello!"
"Uncle?" Shantae said in surprise.
"Oh good! You can hear me. That's a relief… you guys left a little too early!"
"What do you mean?" Sky asked.
"When you turned the power back on, you also turned on the Power Core."
"That's good, right?" Yang asked.
End BGM
"Well… I got good news and I got bad news. The bad news is that there are eight power switches for you to activate so the electricity can flow safely through the Squid Pit. The good news is that you have less than eight minutes until the Power Core overloads and explodes the entire island!"
BGM: Danger! There's Trouble! (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled, though Neo and Kala used sign language while Oran simply growled in surprise.
"I am no expert, but I believe you have that backwards." Baymax pointed out.
"Wait, did I say that backwards? My bad! Anywho, you will need to open up the release valve when the core reaches maximum capacity, that way the rest of the energy can flow freely into the rest of the city or… ship, as it were. If that valve isn't open by the time the core goes critical, well… we can all kiss our butts goodbye!"
Marnie scanned the entire area with her cybernetic eyes. "Okay, there's about eight power switches we need to activate. Once we do that, we can activate the switch that will let the energy flow freely into the rest of the ship. The problem is, they're all locked behind doors."
"Bah, that's nothin'!" Akane said. "We can get 'em off their hinges in no time flat."
End BGM
"...Ya know, I may be crippled, but we can still do this." Ruby said. "After all, we've been through tighter spots before! Like, let's not forget what happened at ZDR."
"Or the BSL station…" Blake added. "Especially when we had like… I think fifteen seconds before it crashed into SR-388."
"Oooor like, the entire Phazon War." Weiss said.
"My fight with Nemesis comes to mind…" Byleth mumbled.
"We've been through so much, I mean… come on, eight minutes?"
"We're almost down to six minutes!" Mimic reminded.
"Okay, six minutes. We can do this!"
Rosalina chuckled. "If Samus were here right now, she'd say she can do it in five."
"Sounds like her." Blake nodded.
Ruby grinned. "So let's get this party started!"
"Right behind ya!" Shantae smiled.
"I'll stay behind." Marnie spoke up. "Someone's gotta regulate the flow here."
"You sure?" Weiss asked.
"Not only am I a top commander of the Koopa Troop, I'm also an inventor and a technician of the army, so I know a thing or two." She winked.
["I'll join you."] Neo said as Marnie nodded.
BGM: Evacuate Immediately! (AM2R)
"Alright, see you on the other side!" Yang said as they took off running, but not before Marnie pulled Gloria aside and gave her a quick good luck kiss on the cheek as Gloria smiled and ran off.
"Alright, let's get this going." Marnie said as both of them heard noises as they turned to see Siren Men approaching them, along with other sirens.
["Keep them busy! I'll watch it closely."]
"Alright, but you get the next wave." Marnie summoned her claws. "Alright, you ugly things. Let's rock!" She said and then lunged at them.
Everyone else worked around the Circus Squids as they got into the large vertical room as they dropped down to the bottom and saw eight lights that needed to be lit up.
"Alright, split up! We'll cover more ground that way!" Nyx said.
"Don't have to tell me twice!" Akane cracked her knuckles as they quickly split up.
Door #1 - Ruby, Summer, Blake, Shantae, Rotty, Tai, Luce
Ruby planted her Rose arm on the wall as vines wrapped around the metal door and pulled them apart for everyone to get through, and then once they did, they were greeted by Wetmen. Ruby smirked and pulled out Crescent Rose, but then pressed a button as it split apart into two scythes, one red and one blue as Ruby gave the blue one to Summer.
"Thanks!" Summer smiled as they proceeded to attack as Ruby slashed at the spiders and bats that were coming their way while Rotty pulled off her head and threw it at an Archer siren, knocking her down as her body picked up the bow and reattached her head, then she proceeded to snipe at several Bats with Blake helping her out.
A few Slimes dropped down, but were quickly electrocuted by Luce's gun while Tai picked up a Slime and threw it into a Wetgal that appeared, where Shantae electrocuted the duo to destroy them, then the door opened up as they ran inside and found the power switch as Blake called out her Zeraora as it proceeded to unleash its electricity to power it up.
Door #2 - Raven, Maia, Rosalina, Zwei, Qrow, Cuphead, Mugman
"Hrah!" Raven and Qrow cut through the caged door, slicing it in pieces as they were immediately greeted by Rocket Archers, where the Cupbros immediately shot down and them some Cactus appeared, only for Qrow to take out, and then a Naga appeared behind him where Raven impaled her from behind.
A few Orcs dropped in and breathed ice, but Rosalina put up a forcefield as a watery aura surrounded Maia's blades as she lunged and slashed through them, destroying them in seconds while Rosalina summoned a Launch Star as Zwei hopped on and launched high into the air, cosmic energy surrounding him as he came back down as a comet and slammed down onto some Crabs, Muckmen and a Naga, destroying them all instantly.
"Good boy!" Rosalina smiled, scratching him behind the ears as they ran ahead as Raven activated the switch via her Maiden powers.
Door #3 - Plink, Sheele, Seryu, Koro, Zhang, Weiss, Yang, Chalice, Banjo
A Scorpgal slashed at Weiss, but she blocked with her rapier as Manaphy proceeded to use Whirlpool on the Scorpgal, pushing her away as Yang jumped in and punched the Scorpgal in the face to knock her further into the wall, and then Seryu shot her with a shotgun to finish her off.
Plink snapped her fingers as small bolts of electricity surrounded her as they locked on and shot at Bats that flew toward them as an arrow flew past her, where an Archer nocked another arrow, only for Zhang to smack her in the head and sweep kicked her to trip her up as Koro pounced on her to finish her off.
Sheele cut through several Batgals in an instant, but one Batgal grabbed her scissors with her hook and yanked it out of her hands, but Seryu jumped in and grabbed the scissors, turning around and swinging it to cut the Batgal's head off. "Sorry, not sorry!" Seryu smiled, causing Sheele to giggle as Chalice grabbed a Cactus and threw it into a Slime to finish the both of them off, and then Banjo used Dragapult to shoot down several Bats, then when they got into the next room, Plink charged up the electricity to power it up, while Koro found an opening and crawled through, before coming back out with a Heart Squid.
Door #4 - Hat Kid, Gloria, Vera, Bereto, Baymax
"Bleeeeeh!" Hat Kid taunted a Scorpman as he growled and tried to skewer her with his scorpion tail, but she rolled out of the way. "Too slow, peckneck!" She teased as Gloria, in her Darmanitan form, lunged and punched him in the head with a Fire Punch and then Bereto slashed through him to finish him off.
Baymax, in his armor, proceeded to throw an uppercut into a Golem where Vera summoned a hammer in the shape of a tree as she jumped up and swung down to crush the Golem. "Diagnosis: You have been turned to pebbles." Baymax said, causing Vera to snicker as Bereto slashed through several crabs as Gloria then turned into her Empoleon Form and clashed with a Skeleton Knight, before using Hydro Pump to shove him into a wall to shatter him into nothing.
Once they were done, Gloria went into her Ampharos form and together with Vera, they proceeded to light up the switch.
Door #5 - Akane, Nekomaru, Byleth, Dorothea, Oran, Kala
"HEADS UP!" Akane threw the metal door into a Naga, a Sickly Silverfish and a few Slimes, crushing them instantly as a Wall Dasher lunged at Akane, but Oran jumped in and skewered it in the face to kill it as a few Ceiling Bugs dropped down, only for Dorothea to burn them up while Byleth clashed with a Scorpgal, then Nekomaru grabbed the Scorpgal's tail where Byleth parried her and then switched to the Amyr copy and swung it down to destroy her.
Kala used Power Whip on a Bat, then swung it around and smacked it against a Circus Squid, where Akane grabbed the pole and swung around, using her momentum to shoulder tackle the Circus Squid into a wall to destroy her, then once they were finished, Dorothea used Thoron to light up the power switch.
Door #6 - Bolo, Sky, Zapple, Pit, Lobster Siren
Zapple clapped her hands and unleashed some electrifying Refresh magic on some Rag and Bones, turning them human again, but also electrocuting them to destroy them. "Whoops, my bad!" She chuckled as Pit quickly dodged and fired a few arrows into some Archer's, shooting off a bow and arrow from one as Lobster quickly grabbed it and fired arrows into some Cactus that approached.
Several Orcs flew toward them as Sky proceeded to shoot at them, shooting down a few but one landed in front of her and tried to grab her, but Bolo threw his mace into his face and then together with Sky, they proceeded to take down the Orc as Zapple clapped her hands and unleashed a powerful lightning storm that destroyed several Eagle Man Bombers.
Once they went into the next room, Zapple lit up the power switch. "Alright, we're good."
Door #7 - JINXY, Umber
Xena picked up several Froglips and threw them into some Nagas as Iris ran over and slashed through them while also turning around and launched fireballs from her Gunblade, shooting down several Bats and Spiders as Nyx fired a bomb arrow into a Wetgal, severely wounding her as Jade fired icicles into her to finish her off.
A Scorpman approached Umber as he smirked, and then once the Scorpman plunged his tail into him, he split himself in two with his own electricity, causing the Scorpman's eyes widen in surprise as electricity struck him and paralyzed him as Xena conjured up a telekinetic bomb and threw it, unleashing an explosion while also providing a force field around her team.
"Did he just… split himself apart?" Iris asked.
"Yup, I did!"
"Did that hurt?"
"Not really… I've just been hanging around Marx too long." He chuckled.
"Can confirm." Xena giggled as they went ahead where Umber used Thundaga to power it up.
Door #8 - Harmony
"Oh dear… I guess I'm just all by myself." Harmony said as she was surrounded by Wetmen, the red variety, Wetgals, Archers, Bats, and Skeleton Knights. "Oh dear, whatever shall I do?" She wondered as they all charged at her. She smirked and pulled out her hammer, and with the use of Zapple's magic, electricity surrounded the hammer.
"HAMMER DOWN!" She yelled, unleashing her Quake magic and with the added electricity, it enveloped the entire room with an electrical explosion that destroyed everything around her.
One red Wetman was all that remained while the rest were ashes. Harmony walked over to it and fire punched the Wetman in the face to knock it out, and then she walked over to the switch and used the electricity to light it up.
All at the same time, all eight light switches turned on as they all ran back to the room and Sky pressed the button, opening the hatch.

"Hey you two! We opened the hatch!" Xena telepathically called to Marnie and Neo.
"Good! We'll be right with ya shortly!" Marnie responded.
"Sheesh…" Rotty shook her head. "To think this island almost blew up because the Maiden girl and the Scot overcharged it."
"Hey, we didn't know how much power it needed. Plus, you were the one who pressed the button." Raven pointed out.
"She's not wrong…" Shantae said.
"Hmph! Well, at least I wasn't the idiot who sold Remnant's network to that Eggman guy! Seriously, my brothers and I were laughing like crazy, like… what idiot would do such a thing?"
"Ahem." Jade spoke up. "That "idiot" is my girlfriend. And for the record, with a name like SonicFan70, she thought it was someone like Tails or Amy or… probably Team Chaotix if they were that bored. No one thought of Eggman being a possibility."
Rotty sweatdropped. "Did I say "idiot"? I meant to say… extremely smart person!"
"That's better… but I'm still going to experiment on that disrespectful tongue of yours."
"Jade, you don't wanna know where my tongue has been." Rotty said.
"...Oh my." Bolo said with his eyes widening and eyebrows raising.
"That's not gonna stop me. Besides, it'll make quite the research material." Jade said.
"Well, just be sure to clean it when you're done with it…" Rotty rolled her eyes.
Do they even hear themselves? Sky thought, when at that moment, Marnie and Neo dropped down, both of them looking a bit bruised.
"You two okay?" Gloria asked.
"Yeah, a few Sirens got the jump on us, but we pulled through… a bit sore though, but we've been through worse." Marnie said as they jumped down, snagging a Heart Squid along the way until they reached a door, and a blood stained spot on the floor.
"Uh… what's with the crime scene?" Shantae wondered.
"Oh, that was just me breaking out." Rotty waved it off. "See that code on the wall there? That's how I busted out."
"...Is that covered in blood?" Marnie asked.
"No, it's covered in marinara sauce. Of course it's blood!" Rotty teased.
"Zero nine… nineteen nineteen…" Jade mused as she punched the code in, and then the door opened up. "Oh!"
"You're welcome!" Rotty grinned as they walked inside.
"Yeah, this is definitely where Octo is at, but where could she be…" Lobster wondered as they walked around, and then Risky dropped down.
"Hold it right there!"
"Alright, let's get this over with." Shantae said.
"Oh, you sure you want to get it over with?" Risky smirked, pulling out a jar.
"What's in that?" Vera asked.
"Oh, nothing much, just a bit of your… power that the Sirens took from you. Let's just say I decided to give that power a bit of a makeover." She chuckled, opening the jar as their powers came out, morphing into themselves, but in inverted colors.
BGM: Tension (Super Mario Galaxy)
Shantae gasped. "You didn't!"
"Oh, I did!" Risky smiled. "And while your power isn't drained, I decided to borrow some more of that power from the Empress Siren." She snapped her fingers as an inverted Shantae dropped down in front of her.
"Nnngh! Nega me!" Shantae exclaimed.
"Hey, piss brain. Been a while." Nega Shantae smirked.
Shantae clenched her fists. "So this is your game…"
"Everyone else is free to go and explore this dump, but as for the Half Genies, you're staying right here!" Risky said.
"...You guys go. We'll be right behind you." Shantae said as everyone else took off, but Sky, Bolo and Rotty stayed behind.
"We're not leaving you, Shantae. We're friends to the end, remember?" Sky smiled as Bolo readied his mace and Rotty cracked her knuckles.
Nega Plink smirked. "You've always been a space cadet… thinking you have what it takes to be a half genie. After all, you're the youngest of them all!" She taunted, causing Plink to grimace.
Nega Vera laughed. "As for you, my good friend… you claim you're a half genie, yet I don't recall half genies being cowardly! You hide in your little village away from monsters, but you don't really go and protect anything, letting Zapple do all the work. You are nothing but a coward."
Vera let out an uncomfortable groan.
"Sure, you do all the work… but let's face it. You don't really trust anyone. You do all the work because you can't trust anyone to work with you. Your trust issues are so amusing, it's hilarious!" Nega Zapple said, causing Zapple to awkwardly rub her arm.
"As for you…" Nega Harmony spoke up. "You are the eldest of the Half Genies, and you constantly have the weight on your shoulders. Admit it, you're afraid of burdening everyone, that is why you hold guilt for everyone that got involved in this!"
Harmony closed her eyes. "...I…"
"Don't listen to them." Shantae said. "They're just the negativity that feeds on you. Once you stop listening to them, they're not much."
Nega Shantae laughed. "Oh, is that right? We're you, but we're also stronger!"
"Oh piss off! You couldn't even handle three of us when we rescued Shantae!" Sky said.
"Yeah! And since there's more of us than you, then this should be easy!" Rotty said.
Nega Zapple laughed. "Are you sure about that?"
Nega Vera smirked. "We'll see who's stronger… after all, we're not the ones running."
Vera glared. "Who said we're running?"
"Enough talk already, let's just get to the part where we beat 'em up!" Nega Plink said.
"I agree." Nega Harmony brought out a dark hammer.
Harmony clenched her fists. "It's true… I do feel guilty that all of you have been caught up in all of this, and that's including Ruby and her friends, especially since she can't walk on her own… but that doesn't change who I am." Harmony glared at her nega self. "You can talk me down all you want, but we are not going to give in to your heartless accusations!"
"Even if it might be true…" Zapple mumbled.
"Looks like we got one of 'em~!" Nega Shantae smirked.
"Alright, enough of this!" Shantae's hands caught ablaze. "I'm Ret-2-Go! Let's rock!"
BGM: Final Battle - Dynamo (Shantae: Half Genie Hero)
Inverted Magic - Nega Half-Genies
Both Shantaes lunged at each other, both of them fire punching each other as Nega Shantae pushed her back and then turned into a Newt and lunged at her, but Shantae rolled out of the way as Nega Shantae turned around and transformed into an elephant, charging ahead but Shantae summoned Harmony's hammer and whacked her in the face with the Quake Magic.
Nega Plink clapped her hands, trapping Plink in a platform box as she smirked and then the platforms closed in on her, but Plink unleashed a transformation dance and transformed into a Pit Viper, slithering her way out and transforming back as she then used her platforms to get away from Nega Plink electrifying the ground, and then Plink fired electricity onto her, making her growl.
Nega Vera proceeded to wrap herself in flowers and proceeded to throw them like frisbees into her, but Vera avoided them and planted her hand on the ground as vines grew out and wrapped around Nega Vera, then she snapped her fingers as the vines caught ablaze. "Graaaagh!" Nega Vera grunted as Vera then stomped on the ground as electricity sprouted out of the ground like a tree, causing her to yell in pain.
"Not much of a strong one, are you?" Wait, I'm not that strong either…
Zapple and Nega Zapple threw their fists against each other, delivering strong powerful blows, yet Nega Zapple seemed to be overwhelming her and threw her fist into Zapple's diaphragm. "Nnngh!" Zapple was down on the ground, gasping for air as Nega Zapple knelt down.
"What's wrong… you seem like you're doubting yourself, like you can't trust yourself too!" She mocked as she grabbed her by the collar and picked her up. "Face it, if you can't trust yourself, then how will you be able to trust anyone? After all, you lost your temper and killed your best friend!"
She threw her to the ground. "Now what would you say to him if I were to end you and ended up in the afterlife with him? Oh wait, he's probably enjoying his marriage with his brand new wife up there!" She laughed. "You're worthless, just like your trust issues. Can't trust yourself… ha, you view your electricity as a curse! Face it, if you can't trust yourself, then why won't-"
"Shut up… SHUT UP… JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!" Zapple converted herself into electricity and zipped away, latching onto a wall and then bouncing over, throwing down an electrifying haymaker into her.
Harmony clashed with her Nega counterpart, both of them struggling to gain the upper hand. "You seem to be weighed down by your responsibilities. Don't you feel as if it's crushing you?"
"I have a question. You are my negative side, so wouldn't that mean you have the same responsibilities as well?"
"So what?"
"Just checking." Harmony suddenly parried her and then swung her hammer down, creating a shockwave that knocked her away. "Hmm…" She rubbed her chin in thought. "We all share our magic from Fusion Stones… but what if…"
Shantae delivered an electrical uppercut into Nega Shantae's chin, knocking her in the air as Sky aimed her revolver and shot her up as Rotty jumped up and swung her leg down together with Bolo who used his mace. "Rrrgh! So you've gotten stronger… big deal!"
"Shantae!" Harmony called her up.
"Oh! Uh, hold her steady!" Shantae said.
"You got it!" Rotty said, sinking underground and popping up behind Nega Shantae and wrapping her arms around her and proceeding to German Suplex her, and then held on to her leg.
"Rrrgh! Let go of my leg!"
"Nope! I have a dead woman's grip! I'm not letting go!"
Shantae headed over to Harmony. "What's up?"
"You think we can combine our magic into one?"
"For like, a super charged ultimate attack?"
"Of course!"
"We're gonna need the others… and Zapple will definitely need a hug later."
"Oh, absolutely…" Harmony nodded as Shantae called the other Half Genies up.
"That's right, run away like the coward that you are!" Nega Vera taunted, unaware of what Harmony was telling them.
"What are they planning…" Nega Plink wondered.
Zapple nodded. "It's worth a shot." She said all five stood together as one and closed their eyes, chanting out some words as gigantic platforms surrounded them, with electricity grabbing all of them and sucking them into the box, Rotty forcing herself to let go as Vera raised her arms up in the air as vines wrapped around the platform box as Shantae quickly jumped into the air and transformed into her Harpy form as Harmony gave her the hammer as she flew up into the air, and then transformed into her elephant form while the hammer grew to the size of said elephant.
Shantae let out a loud elephant cry and slammed into the ground, unleashing a powerful shockwave that shook the entire island, making small tidal waves crash into the island and rubble nearly fell on Risky.
End BGM
Once the smoke cleared, the Nega Half Genies started to disappear into darkness. "Rrrgh… how were we beaten…" Nega Shantae groaned.
"We worked as a team, unlike you guys." Shantae said, casually sitting on her nega self.
"You… you absolute… fool!" She grunted as she disappeared, then noticed the magic turning back into light… only for Risky to store them back into the jar.
"Tch… whatever!" Risky growled and then threw down a flash bang to make her escape.
"Nice one!" Sky gave them a thumbs up.
Harmony wrapped her arms around Zapple, hugging her tightly. "You need this…"
Zapple sighed. "I truly didn't mean to kill him… I was just so… angry that I lost it…" She mumbled. "When I heard he died, I was… I was devastated." She sighed. "I wanted to destroy the wedding, not kill him!" She leaned into Harmony, tears filling in her eyes. "I didn't want to be reminded of that…"
"Group hug coming your way~!" Plink hugged her as did Vera and Shantae.
Zapple sighed. "Thank you…"
Meanwhile, with the others…
"Whooooa!" Yang yelped. "What was that earthquake just now?"
"Probably the Half Genies doing something crazy." Weiss said as they walked into a large door and found themselves in front of a giant octopus looking rather dried up.
"...Oh my gosh, Kika!" Lobster exclaimed as she ran over. "What happened to you… why are you so dried up? I thought you were-"
"Oh… hey baby…" A voice dryly said as they turned to see Octo Siren, who was looking rather dried up too.
"Octo!" Lobster ran to her. "Why are you like this?!"
"I'm… not sure… I was just taking a long nap inside of my pet in this room filled with water, but apparently, it all dried up…"
"Who would dry you up…" Lobster wondered.
"Is she going to be okay?" Umber walked up to her.
"She's dried up, I'm not sure how she's gonna last much longer. She and her pet, Kika, love the moisture and water, so Coral filled this room up with water just for her… but now… now it's all dried up. They're almost… dead!"
"Who… who would've thought sleeping would be my downfall…" Octo mumbled. "Hahaha… this is awkward… guess that's what happens when you don't sleep under the sunlight…" She chuckled weakly, coughing.
"Does she sleep all the time?" Umber asked.
"Yeah… I sleep peacefully in the darkness. Strange though… I was never like this in the beginning… even after I became a siren…" Octo breathed heavily, gasping for air.
I'm guessing the lack of sunlight and Vitamin D caused her to be narcoleptic… that's relatable. Umber thought.
"I was thinking we'd fight your sister here." Ruby said.
"Hey, what's going on?" A voice asked as Shantae and the others ran in. "Whoa! Did you guys beat the Siren without us?"
"Nah, we found her like this." Tai said.
"That's the biggest octopus I've seen!" Bolo exclaimed.
"Mana…" An idea sprang into Manaphy's head. "Mana!" He said, unleashing Whirlpool onto Kika and Octo, then Mari popped out and used Hydro Pump on her.
"Mmm, that feels refreshing…" Octo said, opening her mouth to drink the water as they did the same with Kika.
"That should be plenty until we get you to the surface. Hang on!" Lobster clapped her hands together. "I've never teleported a huge monster before, so this could take a while!"
"Allow me!" Palutena said, helping Lobster out with a heavenly light and whisked her away to the surface.
"Thanks disembodied voice!" Lobster smiled. "Now let's go!"
Suddenly, the whole place started to shake as Lobster yelped and quickly teleported everyone away, but due to the violent shaking, Shantae and Rotty were left out.
"Hey! Don't leave us here!" Shantae exclaimed.
"I think you went overboard with that spell!"
"Yeah, let's go!" Shantae and Rotty ran off, but as they did, an Archer aimed and fired an arrow, hitting her in the ankle. "AGH!" She cried, falling over.
"SHANTAE!" Rotty yelled as Shantae glared, snapping her fingers as a bolt of lightning struck the Archer and destroyed her. "You okay?!"
"I should be…!" Shantae winced, burning the arrow off of her as she tried to walk away but fell over. "Nnngh… this is gonna be brutal…"
Rotty rubbed her chin, having an idea. "Shantae… remember when you carried me across the island when my legs were broken?"
"What? Yeah… but your legs were just fine!"
Rotty grinned, picking up Shantae bridal style. "Consider this me returning the favor!"
"What are you… put me down!"
"Would you rather limp your way back and get crushed by debris?" Rotty asked as debris fell behind the two.
"...Good point!"

BGM: The Nightmare Woods - Run Run Rottytops! (Shantae and the Pirate's Curse)
Rotty quickly ran off, carrying Shantae in her arms as several Siren men quickly charged at her, but Rotty quickly slid underneath their legs and kept up the momentum, quickly running behind the door and punching in the code, slamming the door behind her.
"That'll keep them distracted!"
"Are you sure that'll hold them?"
"Yeah, not like they know the code!"
The door opened up, revealing a few Siren men.
"...Oh crap, they know the code!" Rotty took off running. "Make way, coming through!" She dodged a few Batgals as she quickly rounded the corner and started jumping on the platforms, taking her back up to the top.
"Geez, this is a long way up. Who thought this was a good idea to come down here?!"
"We did!"
"Fair enough!" Rotty snickered, jumping up and grabbing herself a Heart Squid as she then jumped between platforms as a Wetman tried to get her, but to no success.
Rotty kept running, seeing Circus Squids dancing around as she quickly ran away, sliding past them, quickly jumping through a bush and bursting out. "Almost there!"
"ROTTY!"
"Huh?" Rotty turned her head to see a Circus Squid holding Shantae as she looked down to see that she was holding a Circus Squid in her arms, the latter smiling at her. "Wrong girl!" She dropped her and then went back and clobbered the other Circus Squid with her leg.
"Get your own Half Genie! This one's mine!" She said, picking Shantae back up and quickly climbed her way out of there as she ran out of the Squid Pit and quickly jumped up on the platforms.
"It's a long way up…" Shantae said, closing her eyes and clapping her hands to make platforms appear.
"Thanks!" Rotty jumped on the platforms, quickly jumping toward the left as she found herself in front of a body of water. "Hold your breath!" She said, jumping in and swimming with Shantae holding on to her neck as they got out of the water and kept running, dodging a few Siren Men that tried to shoot at her as Rotty then jumped into a cave to avoid being hit, only to see a Heart Squid near her as she grabbed it for herself.
"Not sure how I missed this one!" She said as she kept running before spotting poisonous water in front of her. "Brace yourself!"
"For what?!" Shantae said as Rotty threw Shantae over the water. "WAAAAAAAH!" She yelled as Rotty sunk underground and popped back up on the other side and caught Shantae.
"Got ya!" Rotty smiled and quickly dug through the tunnels and popped out on the other side while shaking off a Dirt Crawler as she kept climbing up platforms and swimming through water until they reached the top part of the sunken city as Rotty kept running until they reached a computer room.

"Oh me oh my, what do we have here?" A voice asked.
"What the… who are you?" Shantae asked.
"Oh me? The name's King Dice, nice to meet ya! I decided to bring my casino over to this island. Big D was happy that I did so!"
"Big D? …You work with Fuzzball?" Rotty asked.
"Indeed, I did! In fact, I was the one who drained the water out of that Siren's room just so she would be easy for you folks. Hmhmhmhm, and since you brought power back to the city…" He pressed a button. "Ooops~!"
Suddenly, outside on the surface, four electrical towers rose up from the ground as Risky was heard laughing nearby where everyone else looked on in awe.
"What did you do?!" Shantae yelled.
"Simple! You activated the power to the ship, and it won't take much time at all for this ship to be fully operational. You and your friends will not stop the Queen of the Seven Seas."
He smirked. "Unless, of course, you're willing to stop me. My casino is nearby, so if you want to take a crack at me, you know where I am!"
He then walked out with a hum. "Skippity da ba da dum~ La ba da la dum~"
"That's not good!" Rotty said. "Come on!" She took off with Shantae still in her arms.
Meanwhile, in Ruby's room…
"Let's see…" Devil looked around her belongings. "It should be around here somewhere… aha!" He picked up Ruby's medicine. "Pain killers, eh? It would be quite a shame if they were to disappear…" He said, opening it up and casually dumped them into the toilet. "Ooops~!" He smiled as he flushed the toilet right after and closed the lid.
He casually walked out with a not-so-innocent whistle. "The only way she'll get her hip to feel better is if she'll hand her soul over to me~! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Ibuki: Uh oh... something tells Ibuki that they taunted the Devil one too many times...
