Kuzon launched fire at Korra each step the fire growing more intense as he stepped on Korra's foot. "Sorry, wasn't I was planning on stealing your nose." He stepped back and stood like a boxer and the moment fire launched he launched back with enough control to dissipate the fire. "It's called the Recy style, Republic city. If you want the full name, Unlike the traditional styles it skips the fundamental of fire bending. Leaving what is basically fist fighting, however some thing are useful in the Recy style. Like the rage and rapid movement."
Korra nodded listening his every word. "This style doesn't work for earth benders, it removes the strength for speed. Fire again and no holding back Korra." She took a long breath forcing all the air could released a massive burst, Kuzon changed his moving arm his arms in circular motion, taking control and spinning the flames around in loops until it was starved of energy and dissipated.
He yawned and got ready took an aggressive stance, Korra took on a water bending stance and was engulfed in flames many of the guards were shocked seeing this, believing the mad man had killed Korra. Then he stopped and Korra stood her hands in an arrow shape and had been diverting the flames like water, she fell the to panting. "You alright kid?" She nodded, just tired from the day's training. "Well good job kid, you mastered blocking and redirecting. Next will be using it for survival, bring your bathing cloths." Korra nodding with a smile and ran out of the compound, with two guards following her. A year had passed and Korra was learning fire bending well, however Kuzon was worried about the spiritual aspect, he finally got Korra to meditate but even then she only did it to practice her breathing.
Then a Air bison landed in center of the compound to a yawn and stretching. She cracked her fingers with her thump, with each crack a burst of air was released. "HELLO SOUTH POLE!" She yelled her voice somehow echoing for miles most of the guard were on the ground with a constant buzzing in their ears. A younger air bender stepped next to his mother, already showing the marks of master. "Oh sweetie be careful." Jumped off the bison, before slowly floated down. The woman shrugged slid down the bisons tail and ran at Kuzon pulling him into to a hug! "I missed you so much bro!"
Kuzon showed a weak smile while being lifted up. "Oh you must be Korra, huh bigger than I Imagined gonna make a lot of girls hate you." Zaya laughed pulling her brother into the compounds house.
"She doesn't like the south pole." Korra jumped saw the air bender with empty eyes. "I'm Davaa, Her son, your Korra?" He turned toward her but didn't look into her eyes as he spoke. "Nice to finally meet." He offered his hand to Korra but something was still odd, he did look at her in the eyes, she shook his hand anyway.
"Why doesn't your mother like being in the south poll?" Korra asked curiously.
"I think it's because she never wears shoes." Korra's eyes widened, trying her best not have her bottom jaw hit the ground. "Yep not a single day in her life." Korra looked at the snow foot prints and noticed how dirty it was. "She says it keeps her healthy, I'm just surprised how she hasn't cut her feet yet." Davaa went to the air bison panting who covered half of his body in bison saliva after one lick. "Every time tiny! I swear you do this purpose." Tiny simply licked the other half for symmetry sake.
Korra just chuckled looking at the bison and her rider. "I should give you a hug!" He made a few clicking noises with his tongue and came in for that hug, but dodged running for her life and because she didn't want to be covered in in bison spit.
"So what did you find out?" Zaya ate cookies from a tin box. "Turns out bison manure makes great fertilizer. I have been selling it to farmers while the bison eat the waste after harvest." Kuzon closed the door behind her and pulled the blinders.
He sat back down on his seat. "Zaya we both know you're not an idiot, crazy, but not stupid. So what did you find out?" She Pulled a notepad out and threw it over the table. "10 members, all of them using the spirit world as their business center. I had a Tulpa listen in on their conversation." Zukon looked at the report. "They're able to enter the spirit world?" He asked, flabbergasted.
Zaya pulled out a drawing of the place they met. "Yes, they're simply said, they're amateur's they kept meeting in the Tulpa realm." Kuzon sighed. "Remind me again what are Tulpas?" Zaya smirked while he rolled his eyes. "Tulpas are entities created by true spirits ,usually they act as companions for them, an example wan shi tong's Foxes." Kuzon nodded. "Ok so what did you learn from your tulpa friend?"
She sighed. "They're waiting for Zaheer and other bastards to escape, then operation burning lotus starts." Kuzon massaged the bridge of his nose. "I don't know what the name of the great sky, Operation burning Lotus, is. I attempted seduction, but after two months I learned that only Zaheer and the other three know what the void it is." Kuzon nodded, putting it all together. "Ok but who is Zaheer?" The Airbender's face palmed. "The non-bender of the four idiots!" Kuzon's grip tightened on the mention of the four. "They're connected?" He spoke keeping the rage of Agni behind a wall of chains put to its ultimate test. "Anything on the red lotus?" Zaya made a fart noise. "High risk, low reward. At best they're a bunch anarchists, at worst they're secretly influencing governments." Kuzon started controlling his breathing, "Why do you think they're low reward?"
The tattooed twin sighed. "Because so far they're like 10 members and none of them have real control. If you hunted all of them down it wouldn't affect much. It's just those four, especially Zaheer. Once they're free they will burn the world." Kuzon nodded, wishing he could kill Zaheer. "Violence is not always the right path." Kuzon raised a brow at her looking to the right side of her hip where a blade was holstered. "Except when a blade is to your throat." Kuzon sighed and then had an odd realization. "Where is the bison herd?" She tightened her lips. "Zaya." He said scoldingly then opened the blinders to an entire herd outside and inside the compound.
"Where else could have I left them?" Kuzon let out a slow breath and then lit a candle. "Southern air temple."
Kuzon stepped out of the building to see Korra getting eaten by the air bisons or just getting chased by the calfs. "Help!" Korra said as a calf was eating Korra's hair. "Hey stop!" He got back in and got a moon peach. "Look sweetie, you can have a treat instead of boring old hair." The calf let go of Korra and jumped at the fire bender engulfing his hand. "There you go." He pulled his hand out shacking the spit off. "Thanks." Kuzon looked over the hear looking for one big boy. "There he is." He walked to a bison with the longest horns and scratches on his horn. The bull breathed on the snow pushing away the snow just leaving the ice. "Wow."
Korra said and then saw the glare from the air bison before it changed it's spot, blowing on the snow again. "They make great snow cleaners, they're just looking for grass. Zaya when are you taking them to the valley?" Zaya patted the big bulls fur. "Next week, let's see if the reigning champ can keep his title." Korra looked her curious and a bit with child like innocence. "What are you talking about?" Kuzon looked at her sister and used their twin ability to talk with their looks alone. "Ask your mommy and what bisons do during the summer, oh I'm leaving Davaa here with his great gran gran." She jumped on tiny. "sweetie don't give your great gran gran any stress." He nodded and before her brother could add a single word. "Yip Yip." Kuzon sighed as the bison chased after tiny.
Korra just watched amazed. "How does she lead the herd like that?" Davaa turned to Korra. "It's because we raised most the bisons and helped raise their calves, we're like part of the herd." Kuzon sighed and Davaa turned to Kuzon just stared at his stomach. "Well you're stuck here til the rut is over, she's over protective of you and of those calves." Korra looked confused. "Baby bison's." Kuzon explained not looking into her eyes once.
"We will deal with this tomorrow, sorry about your hair." Korra nodded, walked to the pen to Naga and rode home.
Davaa was walking to his gran gran house, opened the door to find Davaa golfing down an entire bowl of stewed sea prune. Katara was laughing out a storm watching him almost drinking the stew. "None of my children like stewed sea prunes, but he's eating it like my father."
Davaa presented his bowl. "More please." Katara gave a hearty chuckle before taking it. "Would you like some dear?" She looked at Kuzon who nodded while sitting down at the table. "How's the sound bending doing?" Davaa whistled and reached higher until the windows vibrated. "Stop, Don't break the windows." Davaa Gave him an annoyed look.
Davaa got his next bowl of stewed sea prunes `" wouldn't have." Kuzon chuckled then saw the air bender scarf down the bowl. "Don't eat so fast, you will end up choking." His great gran gran warned and so he started eating slowly. Once he finished he unfurled a dragon fiddle. "Oh great, you got into playing that?" He simple started playing Kuzon covered his ears to spare them from torture, then let go once he heard the instrument being played to a professional level. "Isn't he great? It's nice to hear some good music." Kuzon nodded with a relaxed sigh.
In the morning Kuzon was sitting in a tub, outside with a cup of tea. "Korra, how are you doing?" He said relaxed. "Why're you in the bathtub?" He breathed steam out. "You can pick either having a cold bath or a spar with Davaa."
Davaa was in nothing but his trousers, his blue and amber eyes almost burning with the sunlight shining directly at him. "Pick the bath." He said with a smile which Korra misconstrued as mocking. "Oh, how do I throw you out to dry?!" Kuzon chuckled with a wet towel over his eyes. Korra walked toward the air bender bent water from the floor, Davaa quickly dodged and with one burst air kick launching Korra out of the arena. "I should have warned her." Korra stood back up and took on a horse stance but the expected attack never came.
Korra waited and then decided to launch fire at Davaa, He spun around the fire and answered with an air punch, launching Korra out of the arena. "Don't hold back." Kuzon cheered and Korra turned toward him. "I'm not!" She yelled at Kuzon, he looked at Korra with a smug smile. Davaa easily dodged even when the water came right under his chin and retaliated with swift movements, korra attempted to use the rock behind Davaa for a sneak attack, only to have it fail with jump into the air and Korra barely stoping the big rock from hitting her. "Ok, is he secretly an earth bender?! Does he have seismic sense or something like that?!" Kuzon smiled getting out of the tub. "Well, Yes he using movement and change in the air to see. You swing your feet or arms, he knows it, you try hit him with boulder from the back, he will already knows."
Korra was about argue how unfair it was and then Kuzon gave her great. "He will teach it to you once you master air bending." Korra got excited and looked at Kuzon. "What's the next training?" Kuzon smiled and Davaa unfolded his staff. "I had fun!" He waved off and flew into the air easily.
