The Awakening
(P.O.V Of Kai)
I rushed out and saw the closest guard walking pass the stairs. I went to him and held him by the collar. "Where is she?!" he immediately paled and trembled with fear.
"Wh….who Your Highness?"
"The girl who was supposed to be in my chambers and where is Jury and Taro?!!"
"I…I don't know Your Highness, I swear!!" I threw him against the wall when I saw another guard walking the other way.
"You!! Stop!" he obeyed and walked towards me, eyes down. He gave a low bow. "My Prince."
"Where the hell is Jury and Taro?"
"Um.."
"If you say you don't know, I will tear out your guts. Now, where is the head butler and the head of the maid servants?" I asked daring him say something stupid. He was already sweating now.
"They have not been seen since the day your family went to Silver Heights Y..Your Highness," his voice shook and his eyes traveled to something behind me. "Him!! Over there, he should know! I saw him with the Lady Esther yesterday and…"
I didn't wait for him to finish. In a flash I was standing in front of the guard he pointed at.
"Where are they? Just so you know, I'm sick of guards not telling me what I want to know," I wrapped my fingers around his neck and felt my hand heating up. "You know what I'm asking so hurry up and talk!" my hand was starting to become red from the heat, I was slowly burning his skin. "I… I'll take you t…there. Please..stop Y…Your High… ness." I let go and he dropped to the floor. He coughed uncontrollably.
Everything was dead silent. No one else walked in after what had happened. Tyson kept his eyes closed, yet his grip of Hilary was strong and protective, the steady rise and fall of his chest showed the evidence of his existence. Along with a navy blue light surrounding both Tyson and Hilary showed the proof of miracles that indeed happened some hours ago.
(Flashbacks six hours ago)
(At the Dungeon)
..HAVE FUN BOYS..
The last of the logical part of Tyson's brain stopped working followed by a pregnant silence of the prisoners. Hilary's brown orbs snapped open as the realization slowly sunk in her exhausted brain. She knew They are going to kill her the worst way possible. But this!
The cellar door slammed shut As Lady walked out without a care. The glowing eyes of Vampire guards eyed hungrily the tied up bruised girl. She furiously shook her head negatively, "Please, please don't." The guards hardly seem to hear her. They make their way in her cell smirking. "Such a beauty should not go waste now, should it?" One of them harshly grabbed her upper arm, untied her chains as she fall down with a thud. Hilary shouted, fighting off the last of her remaining strength which surly wasn't much.
Sound of her screams resounded through the cells along with the cruel laughter of the guards. Mariah struggled, so did Mariam and the others. Tyson's protest rang through the entire dungeon, "Stop This, I will Kill You All." His wrists started to cut due to his fiery movement, as low growls began to rise within him total unaware of the awakening of another being in himself. Strong Wind blew from nowhere shocking all the occupants.
However, in wasn't too long as a menacing growl made itself known beside them. They get more shocked if possible, Tyson's eyes glowing in blue energy as he gave one last tug and broke free the chains once again. Breaking the ceiling along with the chain. Stormy wind started to fill in the locked cellar out of nowhere. Some other guards tried to restrain Tyson as they come to the sound source. However now they looked hardly any match to the raging boy.
Jumping in the air more like flying, He kicked one vampire in the face who approached first. Throwing the guard off with three more behind him. The strength within one blow was strong enough to slam all of them to the nearest wall so hard they all almost lost sense. Tyson took his peak to run through the open door speeding his way to Hilary. Her eyes opened one last time to met the sky blue energy entering the room. A tiny yet soft smile came across her face.
Tyson.
Guards in her room hardly noticed what was coming behind them. Two of them was done with the poor girl as Hilary's mind finally closed itself from the world as darkness engulfed her. They became angry shook the girl to bring her sense back.
Tyson growled as the guards finally looked back. He looked hardly human anymore, dark blue eyes gleaming with animalistic hunger, blood pouring from one cut of his forehead. But mostly sky blue wind swimming around him like a little storm. The vampires gulped, before they could move Tyson threw a punch to the first ones jaw as his jaw broke with a cracking sound, others were immediately in action to hold the now raging wind. Tyson moved like blur, a gust of wind threw all the guards to the furthest wall with a thud. He looked murderous yet uncaring of all of them.
He hardly seem to notice for anything else as he looked at the Bleeding girl. His sister. Hils.
A storm of exhaustion hitting him like a brick, he felt his energy creating a shield around both of them draining himself in the process too. His knees began to shake as he took a hold of Hilary's hand, he could hear distant cry of Mariam as finally darkness fall on him too.
(Flash forward)
(P.O.V Of Taro)
Mariam and Mariah had hardly stopped their crying. Jury couldn't take longer. She passed out long ago. What they did was inhumane. But all of us were now speechless at Tyson's new form.
But Everything that happened in last five minutes happened too fast yet too unbelievably true. Tyson was not human, now Taro can perfectly claim that. He was a Master. Master of wind. Long ago I watched the very same transformers in Prince Kai too with fire. But Tyson was not a Vampire. Then what is he?
But now Tyson needed help immediately, he used too much energy that too after starving for three days here. My heart was bleeding at the sight of Hilary laying beside the boy there covered in pool of her own blood. She wasn't moving.
I couldn't hear her breathing so I didn't know if she was dead or I was too weak to hear the sound of her heartbeats.
If those kids remain alive, they will only do something much worse to her. She is too pure to be in a fucked up world as this. It's better for her to be free of all these. It was better for her to be away from all these demons.
Yet I couldn't wipe out what I just saw. Tyson can be her only savior now. I can feel the stormy energy that was shielding both of them. But for how long!
He can still hear how badly Hilary begged for them to stop. Over and over until she became limp. There were four guards. The girl stopped moving right before the second one was done. The other two became furious and That was exactly when Tyson barged in.
Now, all I could do was stare. My wife has not woken up, and I fear she will not. Our skin were beginning to turn into a bluish purple. We've gone too long without blood.
I too was becoming too weak to stay awake. Esther and Emily got their wish after all.
As my eyelids grew heavy, I suddenly felt warm. I sat up despite the pain in my abdomen. I realized that the ground was getting warmer and warmer by the second. Tyson began to stir as well, but didn't woke up, his grip tightening as the wind began to blow more furiously.
A storm covered the entrance but before we knew it, the ground was hot and covered in small fire here and there. I fell like I will be blown away if the wind get any stronger. Too much Energy in small space, is strong enough to creat an explosion.
The bars began to turn red, red flame and wind spreading all over the dungeons.
It was at that moment I heard loud footsteps. He came and stood in front of our cell, staring at me in shock. Both at our state and the atmosphere.
The Vampire Prince
"S…she's i…in that one.." I pointed at her cell. He read the look on my face and didn't want to move at first. He was afraid to turn. He sensed the horror that he was about to face.
He looked down, then slowly turned to the opposite direction. The flame in the dungeons were getting more yet Hilary's cell remained untouched by any of that, only shade of light blue filling the room. I could see his body tense up.
He stood frozen for two seconds before he broke down the gate and tried to rush to her unmoving form. But the prince got thrown back harshly no sooner had he went one step in the cell.
Tyson's eyes snapped open as he glared at the Vampire Prince with dark fury. Kai tried once more only to get push back harder badly with a wall behind him. Tyson meant no shit. Hilary was now under his protection. However the feral side of Vampire Kai kicked in the prince at the painful sight of his little flower, making him unable to understand any of this. He looked straight into Tyson's eye, pleading not demanding. He knew something in Tyson is too strong even for him to handle, "I sweat I mean no Harm, please let me in." His voice shaky, light like a whisper in a pleading note. Something none ever heard the crown prince did. Tyson seem to got the message too. As he nodded, blue energy faded, as Kai run to the cell.
The Prince dropped to his knees and cradled a bloodied Hilary in his trembling arms. Feeling his head pounding due to fear that he never tasted for centuries, he let out a loud, tormented cry of pain.
Tyson's breathing was coming out short too, "Save her, please!" Was the last thing he said to Kai as his head dropped on the floor. With Tyson's resistance gone, Kai's energy intensified immensely.
Tala came rushing in, he became nervous when he saw the flames. He stared down at something and fear took over him. I looked at what he was staring at and saw a red glow coming from underneath them. They were burning everywhere like puddles.
(P.O.V Of Tala)
I was trying my best to cool the atmosphere, ice broke out into various directions as I tried to get any hold of the situation. However I was at least able to make sure Kai didn't burn all of us here alive. A flash of red caught my eyes.
It didn't take me long to realize they were actually fire beneath the ice too. The Prince couldn't control himself. Even being a Master Of Ice, I can't stand his strength either.
He continued to cradle Hilary's body in his arms. When he released another roar of anger and grieve, the fire burst out from nowhere breaking my ice and the entire area was now on fire.
I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. I couldn't understand anything except that Prince Kai cared deeply for the girl in his arms. I rushed to him at once. Holding his shoulder gently, I slowly crouched down.
"Kai listen to me!!" I then touched the girl's chest and let out a sigh of relief. "She's still breathing. It's shallow but you can still save her. Take her to the nearest infirmary and give her your blood. You can save her only if you move fast but you have to stop this Kai!! I need to get these people out! Now!!" I shook Kai awake. He needed to stop the fire from spreading.
"Please! She needs you idiot! Stop this and go keep her alive!!"
That's when the fire immediately stopped. Kai wordlessly stood up with the girl in his arms and left in a blur.
I stopped to catch my breath for a few moments. As my eyes take a look of another being in the same cell, his tane skin, dark blue hair, even smell seemed oddly familiar. He had noticed the very same feathers and smell in someone else too yet he can't put his finger on it. The boy looked fragile, weak yet I can detect a very small yet prominent energy radiating from him like a master Vila whose strength have barely been awakened.
"Stand up, Alpha King. They are being released." I came out of the chain of thoughts and cleared my head to nod at the worried soldier beside me. I had ordered some of the soldiers who fought during the war to come with me and thank goodness I did. My head was spinning with so many fucking questions.
They released Taro Jury first and carried them out. Next were two young women. They looked numb and emotionless. I could see that they were also starved. Two other guards picked the boy up.
"Take them to the doctors!" I ordered after looking at one of the girls. Her arm was bloodied. The older looking girl wasn't harmed but she needed to be taken care of as well. She looked dead. The boys state was worse.
More questions clouded my mind.
Once I made sure the rest of them were safe and taken to the doctors, I hurried to where Kai might be. I ran two floors up to the west wing. A servant boy helped me find the infirmary Kai was in.
When I got there, it looked more like a big clinic to me.
Kai was sitting on a chair outside the double doors with his head buried in his hands. He was breathing hard, trying to control himself. I've never seen him like this so I had no idea what to do.
I slowly walked towards him. "The rest of them will be taken care of. Some of them are badly injured but none of the injuries were fatal." I stopped to see if there was a reaction but there was nothing. He was still breathing hard.
"Kai….will she make it?" Silence. He didn't Hilaryn lift his head. After a long time, his breathing calmed a little.
"She'll make it," he said barely audible but I heard him and was relieved. His reaction did not change though.
"My Little Flower may never be the same," he said after a while.
Hei Guys,
How was the chapter. It came really faster, didn't it? Though this is a little short, I promise the next one will be very long. I am yet to give an explanation of Element Masters. And last but not the least, Tyson's spirit is awakened. Who do you think he is?
Again Thanks a Lot to my precious reviewers: Prachi, Anime Lovesick. I would love to have more opinions. Love you all.
