Prompt: There are many kinds of Doors… Did an animal ever make it to England?

"It was a huge badger! And it talked!" Betty screeched. "It scrambled upstairs."

Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy ran upstairs to the wardrobe as fast as they could. There in front of the wardrobe was a bit of grass and a trail of muddy paw prints leading back into the wardrobe, as if someone had come into the room and then exited the same way they came. The children stared at each other, astonished.

Lucy stepped into the wardrobe, holding her breath. She parted the coats and sighed deeply. "It's closed," she said sadly.

Peter stepped forward and put his arm around her. "It's all right, Lu, we'll see Narnia again."

The four stood in silence in front of the wardrobe. "I hope so," Susan said finally.

Not terribly original, I know, but I ran out of time because we had to go to get groceries. Hopefully this isn't too bad!
