Walking out of class I turn my head to the side. Ami is flanking me. We're going to see Yota again. It certainly has become easier to do recently, even staying later. The apartment has yet to have electricity restored. Worse the water had been cut off since apparently flooding from that same storm caused some sort of overflow that contaminated some of the village's water.

It all seems a little suspicious to me. Yes storms were rare but was that really all it took for the villages most basic systems like electricity and water to be cut off for DAYS?!

More so I live very close to the CENTRE of the village. Most of the building from what I've seen has had their power restored and water slowly being turned back on. Yet my neighbourhood seems to have been suspiciously skipped over?

There is water bottles being handed out at key spots in the village including the academy so that handles that… except for cleaning clothes… and having baths and stuff. All that Ami and I haven't done since the storm. The lack of power makes the apartment chilly at night and DARK, really dark. I can't cook anything so all foods have to be raw. Considering rice is a staple in the village and in Ami and my diet that is a problem, plus all eggs, milk or anything that needs to be refrigerated all is going bag and things like vegetables go bad much faster. All the food that was frozen is now unfrozen and I just don't know what to do.

I tilt my head in confusion and Ami stops I can just make out her mouth hanging open in shock and I muffle a giggle with my hand. Because Sasuke Uchiha, the boy who despite being so little acts so tough… was walking around with a bag laced with pink flowers. My eyes widen a little remembering yesterday's conversation.

Flash back

A gentle rain falls around the tree house. No one is crying but everyone is depressed. This time for once it has nothing to do with Yota. I think I am starting to understand his abilities, if you come in contact with whatever form of weather he is making you get the emotion that comes with it. In most cases anyway. However as we are tucked away from the rain all these reactions are genuine.

Every now and then Ino sniffles as she clutches a bouquet of pink flowers to her chest looking at something that isn't there.

"All I wanted was to give Sasuke-kun a bouquet of flowers from our shop… but…" Ino whines her lower lip trembling. "He ignored ms and walked away." She then chokes out as Yota hugs her around her neck.

"So, so sad… poor Ino-Ino…" Yota says and Ami shuffles uncomfortably next to me looking at her shoes. I wonder if Sakura feels the same as all three of my female companions have a 'crush' on Sasuke.

"Still don't see what the appeal is…" I muttered to myself low enough that no one can hear. I mean why are they so interested in a kid that clearly hates that sort of attention?

"I think what you did was… sweet." Ami chokes out looking like she'd rather be eating her own tongue than admitting it. Ino raises and eyebrow looking unsure how exactly to respond.

"Ino-Ami friends? Hug and make up?!" Yota declares and both girls eyes widen looking awkward as slowly Sakura begins to laugh Aim reply and soon everyone is rolling in laughter the sadness forgotten.

Present

"Looks like Yota was here…" I whisper to Ami who regains her cool nodding in agreement. As we go to check on Yota knowing it was a risky move for him to come so deep into the village I can't help but giggle as we pass Sasuke. "Pinks a good colour on you…" I say to myself but when Sasuke's head snaps towards me and Ami drags me away I realize it may have been a little too loud. Let's just hope the boy doesn't think I LEFT the flowers, he may still be a cute little innocent kid but I don't think he's very forgiving.

When we arrive at the tree house Ino, Shikamaru, Sakura, and Choji are already scolding Yota for his actions.

"And your sure nobody saw you?" Shikamaru questions his arms crossed and Yota sighs clearly this isn't the first time the question had been asked.

"No one…" Yota says firmly and something about his reply seems… incomplete.

"This is serious Yota… if they find you they'll take you away!" Ino exclaims a slight amount of panic in her voice.

"She's right you have to stay secret." Ami agrees and it still feels baffling seeing the two AGREEING.

"No… I don't want to be away from Sakura." Yota whines and I slump over. Naruto may have a crush on Sakura, Lee in the future too but it seems that's not the only person vying for the pinkette's heart. Naruto… didn't he meet Yota? Is Yota lying?

"So NO ONE saw you?" I press my eyes narrowed looking for signs of dishonesty.

"Well… I may have said hello to boy on rod, he a bit of a weird one all alone, like Yota used to be." Yota says sheepishly scratching the back of his head. Cue the panic.
