Rin looks at her broken phone. She wasn't able to answer any phone calls, so she signed into all of her social media on her laptop to inform everyone of her broken phone. They would have to reach out this way until she could get it fixed.

In the meantime, she posted she was going through some things and that she just needed some time to think. But that, of course, did not fly with her older sister.

Rin hears a bang at her door. "Rin, you better let me in!" She hears her older sister yell from outside her apartment door.

Rin opens the door and her sister comes charging into her apartment. Her hands were on her hips, glaring at her younger sister. "You want to explain what is going on?"

Rin shook her head. "Kagome, I am not in the best of moods."

"What the hell is going on? Your phone is broken and you post on social media you need some time to think." Kagome crosses her arms and walks up to her sister. "I don't know who you think you are fooling, but I am the last one you think you could deceive."

Kagome was right. Her sister knew her character.

"Did someone hurt your feelings? You don't have to go into detail. You can give me what you are willing to share."

Rin sighs in relief. Kagome goes into Rin's refrigerator. "You have no snacks, so we can talk shit about who fucked with your emotions today." She takes out her phone and orders some cookies, ice cream, popcorn, and candy. "There, that should do it."

"I am going to shower."

Kagome nods and looks around Rin's apartment. She knew her sister must be suffering from heartbreak. Her apartment was a pigsty, she never kept it this way.

So Kagome tidied up the place while she showered.

Rin comes out of the bathroom drying her hair with a towel. She was surprised her sister straightened up her place; she was grateful. "Wow, thanks Kagome, I needed this."

"You are just in time." Kagome holds up bags of all the snacks she bought. "So, tell me who the hell has my baby sister isolating herself from everyone."

Kagome and Rin sat down in the living room. Rin pops on a reality tv show and takes an ice cream out of the bag. "I really like this guy, but he seems confused about his feelings."

"Confused?" Kagome says, popping her ice cream top off. "How so? I never understood guys like that. I always thought those types were manipulators."

That damn Sesshomaru, Kagome thought.

"He doesn't come off like that. I think he is genuinely scared to love someone."

Kagome stops eating her ice cream. "So you are saying you may love this guy?"

She is deeper in this than I thought. Kagome whines internally.

Rin sits her ice cream on her lap and looks off to the side. "I am falling for him. He makes me feel things I have never thought I would feel within myself and also for another."

"Still seems like a manipulator. He may know he can manipulate you. Has he shown this behavior before?"

Rin couldn't tell the truth, yes he had. "No." she shook her head. "He hasn't."

I will break his face if he does. Kagome smiled fakely at her sister. I will.

"Hmm, then it may be a misunderstanding. You seem to know him, so figure out what is in his heart to make him back away. If he sincerely cares for you, he will explain and will not play any games." Kagome picks up some chocolate. "Do not let this continue to happen, Rin. Once they see you keep accepting this behavior and letting them back into your space, they will always be disrespectful."

Rin nodded. "Noted. I will keep that in mind."

Rin felt bad about lying to her sister. Kagome gave her the best advice and she would follow it but at the end of the way, she would handle it the way she saw fit. She manipulated her sister into thinking that Sesshomaru was a good guy and that he was just going through some things. Seems as though Rin picked up on this bad behavior from him.

She told herself she would be fine and that she wouldn't let it get too deep.

Time flew and before the sisters noticed, it was dark outside. "I am glad you came by, Kagome. I feel a lot better."

"That is what big sis is here for," Kagome says, bringing her sister in for a big hug.

Kagome picks up her purse. "Go to work tomorrow unbothered. Let no one see your feather can be ruffled, hmm."

"I will." Rin waves to her sister as she watches her walk away from her apartment.
