Tap! Tap! Tap! After drowning out the fighting bellow, a band of five gave chase to the five hearts that were being lead towards the summit of a crumbling city. Sora was the first to spot Xehanort, looking down at what he created, disappointed and annoyed. The Dark Seeker turned an eye to the five and flickered to the far reaches of the tower. Ken's heart thrashed in the grappling hook, if it had feet, it would be kicking. On entering the summit, the five had a look at the back end of the clock and a corridor of three, keyhole shaped doors to the left. An idea dinged on Kairi, she flung a rope of vine at Ken's heart and held it firm, Xehanort tugged back and watch the four hearts make a stand against him. There was a strange anger in the old man, a wound in his pride mixed with feeling that he got hurt in his heart. He had an aura and tried to sound dignified. "So, that meddlesome Demon was apart of a ruse, just for his masters to claim this city?"
The X Blade sprang chain like tendrils to grapple the four hearts as Riku took a step forward, trying to be calm at the larger matter. "It's going to be much worse than that if you do this. The Chaos gods are going to be the ones calling the shots, not you."
The chains pulled the four hearts and Kairi dug her shoes at a raised decor, to keep herself from slipping, Xehanort pointed at the coming clouds. "Do not think, that I'm ignorant of their schemes. They are a dangerous tool, nothing more. Once Light and Darkness are united, the worlds themselves to be born anew. With the hearts true secrets revealed, with a new Order to keep the Universe in check."
The chains yanked the four hearts and brought them into the X Blade. Ken's heart nearly slipped, it sparked into a shroud of darkness and blasted the chain off of him with a ray of starlight. It let loose an aura of glaring stars at the Dark Seeker, Sora nodded in approval. "You tell him, Ken." Riku sighed and pointed at Xehanort. "Is that really what your heart believes? Or is it trying to stay ignorant of the dangers that's twisted it towards this?"
He raised his hands at the destruction and the Chaos as Kairi felt a strange pity. "You made such a beautiful city, Xehanort. And it's all been brought to ruins by you and those that want to twist this dream even more." She was ready to fight. "Wake up!"
Xehanorts twitched his other hand and smirked wickedly. "The gods, born from the Darkness of men, continue to underestimate the Heart. Even they will return to nothing when Order is reborn. The Light you hold, will awaken that Order." He aimed his blade at the Princess. "A Light, that is mine to take!" He fired a chain at the girl, with the speed of a bullet. The dim heart blew out a dark shroud and rushed as the form of a specter, colliding with the hook and protecting his Sis.
Riku realize why that was the worst possible move for Ken to do and dashed. The hook stretched to a talon hand and grabbed the core of the Reaper before pulling out and bringing the heart towards the X Blade. Kairi sprouted wings and rushed after it with Riku, the two gave a battle cry and readied to grab the heart. Precisely where Xehanort wanted them to be.
Sora saw the Dark Seeker showing a delight, the boy cringed and tried to move to stop what was planned in motion. Two hooks shot out from the X Blade and impaled the Princess and the Dawnwalker in the chest. Donald and Goofy yelped in shock. Xehanort had them raised up, making sure to have a look at their terror, before swiping them towards the door way. Tossing their bodies like they were peanut shells and clenching two hearts, one of radiant light and the other of a morning shade. Sora lost his breath, like a dagger was shoved into his heart, readied his blade and let loose a roar.
Xehanort hmph'd, fired a harpoon at the boy that rolled and watched him sprint in light speed. CLASH! SWIPE! PUNCH! They gave a swift trade of blows until the Dark Seeker warped away. Donald and Goofy went to Sora's side and kept guard, back to back to back. Donald breathed out. "He's not getting away with that!" Goofy agreed. "This is going way too far."
Sora nodded and shifted his eyes, before spotting Xehanort at a corridor to the right of the summit. The Dark Seeker caused the X Blade to glow in light and swiped it before engulfing it to shadows. An rather violent idea came into Sora's head. Break the X Blade and his friends would be able to escape that.
Xehanort saw the anger and desperation in the boys eyes before rushing at him in a hover. Sora ordered. "Let's roll!"
Roll!
Donald and Goofy did so and saw Xehanort missing a massive cleave. Warp! The Darkseeker warped to Sora and slashed again. Sora parried, saw his foe disappear and side stepped from an upper cut before spinning to smack the adversary in the face. Xehanort jerked his head to the right as Goofy followed with a bash and Donald with a homing fire ball missile. The Dark Seeker teleported high in the air and unleashed black, bullet fast projectiles at the trio. Goofy raised his shield and gave Donald some cover as Sora cast a reflect spell and on the final projectile, deflected it back to the Darkseeker that vanished into darkness and reappeared in front of the boy. Sword already ready.
SLASH!
Sora was sent rolling to the ground from the quick blow and got on, Xehanort took the chance for another blow. Roll! Sora went left and flipped over the X Blade, having the chance to stand up and catching a dark ripple on his right.
SLASH!
He countered a thrust, struck Xehanort three times and called upon the Honey Spout. Xehanort warped away in a hover and caused the hilts of the X Blade to enlarge. The blue halo scattered and splitting the hilt into two blades. One glowed in heavenly light, the other glowed in a bleak nightfall.
The Darkseeker shrouded himself in black wind and spun after the boy, he crossed the blades into an X. Tink! Sora raised his blade upward and caught the X in a cross, the two forces pushed each other back and forth until Goofy sneaked to Sora's left and bashed Xehanort in the face with the shield. Donald channeled a heal for Sora and followed with a gust of air. The boy used that to back flip and turn his spout into a set of blasters.
Xehanort saw what was coming and warped all around to unleash projectiles of darkness, eerily similar to the technique Riku uses. Sora flipped saw Xehanort warp and turned backwards to see the Dark Seeker at the left with a barrage. Sora aimed the blasters and fired globs of honey. The trade of fire went on for a while.
Donald and Goofy used it as their chance to get to the center of the arena. Xehanort yelled out in adrenaline and flung a dark spear. Sora flipped over it, used it as a platform and melded the two pistols into a launcher. The Dark Seeker glowed in darkness and surrounded the boy as illusions before rapid firing. Sora froze his launcher in ice and used it like a club before rapid firing globs of honey that expanded into gooey barriers, he repeated for the next deflect and caught Xehanort in the blast. The boy kept firing, over and over until the honey bubbled into a bee that launched at the gummed up Dark Seeker and exploded. Sora turned the weapon back into the Kingdom Key and free fell to the ground.
Xehanort flexed out an inferno and turned the twin blades into a red shafted scepter, going towards a blue base and a shining heart. He raised it high and bellowed. "Feel the wrath of the heavens!"
He channeled a ray into the sky and in seconds, a multitude of beams bombarded to the trio. Donald and Goofy were sent flying as Sora glided across to avoid getting blown to smithereens. The boy saw the Dark Seekers shadow expand and rolled to avoid a pounce of rabid heartless. A claw of shadows reached for Sora and sprouted into more claws. Spark!
Sora changed his blade to the Hero's Orgin and gave three firm strikes before letting loose lightning. Xehanort aimed the heart at the boy. "Enough!" And caused a flash. Fling! BONK!
A shield was flung at the Dark Seeker, throwing a blast off course. Goofy rushed through the dark shadow and caught the shield as Donald aimed to the sky. "Thunder Storm!"
A cloud formed by the mages will and sprayed lightning at the Dark Seeker that warped out of the way and raised his hand. Bringing about a dark hand at the two. Sora flipped to his back, saw his friends having a moment of panic and joined in the lightning show. Blasting the hand into the shadows and freeing his friends. Xehanort took the chance to fire a ray at the boy that turned the blade into a shield and leap at him. The shield projected the boy that got closer and closer, until it was close enough to let loose a giant fist.
The Dark Seeker was sent flipping and warped to the top of the clock. Turning the Scepter back into the X Blade and aiming it for the heart in the sky. "To me, Kingdom Hearts!"
He shot a beam to the moon and brought it ever closer, the ground lit up in runes and engulfed the surroundings in an endless shadow. The trio banded together and waited for the next move on the Dark Seeker. Xehanort launched fire balls in a fast rate, to keep the trio moving and warped into the fray with a hammer of earth. SMASH! The trio tried to move and were scattered by the shock wave of volcanic geysers that shot out homing, green, lava balls.
Donald and Goofy waddled away from the sheer chaos as Sora shifted his shield to the the Happy Gear and flipped his whole body over the fire. Bonk!
He got Xehanort right in the back and jumped over, the Dark Seeker spun the hammer into a blade on a chain and unleashed twister upon the boy and his friends. Goofy and Donald ducked behind the shield as Sora stood on one hand and cartwheeled over the blade. Xehanort yanked his blade to his hand, engulfed it in a bubbles and flung a harpoon.
Sora rolled to the far left and sprinted to smack Xehanort into a fast combo. Smack! The Darkseeker was sent a couple feet and watched the boy turn his blade into claws. Warp! He disappeared into a rift and caused many to appear around the boy in all directions. Sora kept to his senses, not letting the rifts distract him, he felt something behind his right and clashed his claws with the X Blade, parrying the Dark Seeker and ducking from an over headed slash before punching him in the stomach and going for the hilt of the blade.
Xehanort jumped back and let loose a spray of doombolts. Sora rushed to the side, turned his claws into yo-yos and flung them, the Dark Seeker turned with the barrage and seemed to be at the end of it. Sora rushed in with a spark of fire and saw Xehanort aim his free hand, Sora had the feeling of being pelted by a thousand rocks and was sent hurling to the barrier. The Dark Seeker laughed manically and readied to fire more as Donald conjured a blizzard and quacked. "Hail!"
A barrage of giant hail stones went after the Darkseeker. Goofy rushed to where Sora was shoved to and raised his shield arm. "Catch my arm!" Sora flung a yo-yo at the arm and watched it wrap, Goofy shook the arm around and gave the boy some momentum to sling himself across. Sora spun more and more until Goofy raised the shield up, the boy used it as a way to make a platform. His partner jumped high as Xehanort used his will to catch the hail stones and toss them at the Duck that started moving. The Darkseeker looked up to see Sora ready to toss Goofy. FLING!
Goofy bashed through the hail stones as Sora shot projectile after projectile of razor air. Xehanort was shoved into the ground from the combined forces and sank into the shadows before rising from behind the boy. Sora flipped from the back attack and smacked the Dark Seeker with both yo-yos before finding a shadow coming at him. A specter with two, glowing red laser blades.
Sora turned his yo-yos into the Kingdom Key and parried the phantom before tossing it aside. Along side one phantom, came one that folded its arms and brought about dark tendrils.
PEW! PEW! PEW!
The boy rolled and watched the other phantom flying around him to leave behind more lasers. Sora flipped over them and dashed for the tendrils as the phantoms started to muscle their way to the movement. Sora slashed both and used one of them as a platform as Donald enchanted Goofy's shield with fire and sent him rushing at the two.
POOF!
Sora slashed the tendrils and used a twister to high jump after the half impressed Dark Seeker. CLASH! Xehanort pushed back and blasted Sora with a point blank, blue projectile of gnawing insects that burrowed into his armor. The boy yelped at the sharp pain, cast a heal and readied for a full charge. He countered with a slash, turned his blade into the Control Stick and fired a barrage of fire bolts. Xehanort deflected each one and launched lightning bolt after lightning bolt. Sora let himself fall, to get himself grounded. Donald waved. "Sora, over here!"
The boy turned and sprinted, the Dark Seeker heard the duck and redirected the bolts to him. Sora conjured a barrier and flung it over the mage, Donald used that protection to get close and reached for the hilt of the blade. Sora nodded, focused and slowed his movement. Donald channeled the loaned power and flung one fast fire ball after another. More than enough to break Xehanorts guard and send him into a stagger. Goofy sprang with his shield and knocked the Darkseeker a couple feet.
Donald let go and watched Sora turn the blade into a set of giant gloves. Sora aimed the gloves and fired blaster shots at the blade. Xehanort regained some stability, watched the shots going into the X Blade and flung them back. "You've still learned nothing." Out of the X Blade, came a dark, talon hand. Sora readied to get out of the way and was yanked by a magnetic pull. The talon punctured Sora in the chest and yanked him towards the Dark Seeker. Goofy and Donald jumped to get Sora out of there and were pushed by a dark pulse. The talons were digging deep and the Dark Seeker demanded. "Return to the Darkness from when you came!" The tether gorged itself on light and sent a cutting pain into the boys heart. Sora gritted his teeth as the pain grew worse and worse, before howling and seeing white.
Don't Give Up
Thump! Thump! Thump! "Are you really so weak that you're going to let this be the end?" "GASP!" Ken woke up and found himself in a chamber of black veins, a crystal window, shaped like the emblem of the Heartless, was in his way. In front of him was a figure that was spiking anger, Vanitas. The fiend had a wide smile and was mocking his state. "You can't even wake up on your own, what makes you think that you're-" Ken sprouted a wolf like fist where his metal arm is and punched through the crystal with no effort.
Grabbing Vanitas by the neck and pinning him down on a floor of something dark, pulsing and organic. The fiend did something unexpected and shut himself up. Ken blinked and looked around the room, finding it contorting and circulating. Three chambers, of that sinister emblem, held three figures. Xion and Dupmic were in a still slumber and Shadey was clawing the crystal, if to escape. The one armed boy stood and spotted a chamber that was broken out of. "Where are we, what's going on." He asked. "And why did you help me?!"
Vanitas scoffed and laughed at him. "Who's the say I am? The old man really couldn't let you have a moment, can he?" Ken made his way to Xion's chamber, drew upon his blades and hummed. "That finally made you wake up? Finally had you see what's wrong with what he's doing?"
Vanitas denied it and went for Shadey's prison. "T'he! I saw what you were feeling, you were serious about killing that Demon and anyone else who's calls you a Black Heart."
Ken smacked the crystal wide open and watched Xion fall to his arms. The girl began coughing as Ken asked. "That Demon has been around longer than anyone of us put together. Be a shame if that all came to an end. I'm not letting anyone use me to hurt my family and that's final. Now, where are we?"
Vanitas cracked the crystal and let Shadey spill out and make a rush for Dupmic. "Where do you think?" Ken was more grossed out. "The inside of the X Blade." Xion opened her eyes, seeing herself in Ken's arms. She looked at someone who spoke a rather devious scheme. "Think we should make this thing backfire on Nort?"
SHATTER!
Shadey took the form of a gorilla and punched the crystal trapping Dupmic, the Replica fell over on the shapeshifting entity as Xion woke. "Inside the X Blade?! Oh no!" She let go as Ken spotted a keyhole going out of the chamber. "We got to break the Princesses out of here!"
Pulse!
Dupmic coughed roughly and was picking up a scent, he followed it as Ken signaled. "Fast!" He sprinted to the unknown as Vanitas was a little astonished and glided with someone he'd rather choke the life out of. Xion, Dupmic and Shadey kept a pace, out of the tunnel and to a black void leading to a stained glass platform. It was connected to two stairs, one, on the right, was heading up to an angelic light. The other descended to the darkest depths of the strange scape.
The five stepped on and looked around, the pattern of the glass is that of two clouds, one of a calming white and the other of a stormy abyss. Clashing for a golden, divine heart. The black sky shined a light, screaming with the voice of Sora. The Rebel Trio and Shadey jumped, scared for the voices life. Dupmic whispered to the shadow. "Shadey, get out there and help Sora! Now!"
The entity broke apart as tendrils and slithered across the platform, then came the Blade of No Name. Wedging itself in the way, pulsing dark power and heralding a young, smug voice. "Not yet. Not until I prove how fleeting the Light truly is."
Warp!
Out of the darkness, came a white haired, young man with a double belted, white, black buttoned shirt with a familiar, sleeveless jacket. The golden eyes and form was indistinguishable to the man who's bound them in this prison in the first place. The Rebel Trio called him out by name. "Xehanort!"
The young man pulled the blade out and locked eyes with the escapees. "Ever the persistent, trouble makers I see?" He rested his free hand on his hip as Xion shook her head. "Please, stop this! You're going to kill Sora if you go through with this!"
Xehanort scoffed with some enjoyment as Vanitas rolled his eyes. "That's the idea, if Sora isn't going to let that light go, it's going to have to be ripped out." He approached the Dark Seeker, having spiteful intentions. "Thanks for opening a hole for one of us. Master."
Xehanort gave a glow and flung Shadey back before readying a snap of his fingers. Not knowing that Ken was standing right next to him. The one armed boy struck him in the hand with Cadias Light and overheated it to make it burn. Ken chanted with the tone of a commander. "Go, go, go, go!"
Shadey attended hut, turned into a dark cloud and flew to the opening of light. Xion made her sprint to the Stairs of Light as Dupmic descended to the Dark Steps.
Xehanort let loose purple and sent the remaining two across the glass. The Cognition of a Dark Will watched Shadey make an escape that closed off the light. He turned to the two dark bearers with fury and posed for battle. "Like that would matter. So," He gestured that the two bring it on. "what are you going to do now?"
Vanitas snarled. "I'll show you what I'm going to do!" Rush! SMACK! Xehanort smacked a charging Vanitas away, like he is nothing but an insect and watched Ken sprout wings. The one armed boy flapped in flight, sparkled a glimmer in his feathers and aimed his trusty companions. PEW!
Xehanort took a step left and avoided the fast, multi shot before warping to the boys spot and letting loose. PARRY! PARRY! Vanitas pulled himself up and watched Ken dance with his blades. Xehanort enveloped No Name in a veil of sea water and knocked the boy away, like a simple drop. Ken covered himself in wings and appeared behind the Darkseeker that held his blade in both hands and swiped backwards. Ken pressed his blades and blocked the blow, feeling the splash and using force to fly backwards and fire a point blank multi shot. Connecting and sending the cognition towards the ground.
Xehanort flipped his landing and was blasted by a multitude of dark fire balls. Vanitas followed with a vicious flurry. Xehanort took the blows, parried with the force of a wave and knocked Vanitas over before jumping to avoid Ken's dive. "Who do you think you are?" Xehanort's eyes widen at the echo'ing voice and watched Ken look straight at him, the boy pulled his blades, had them glow together and flipped into an icy scythe. Tap!
Ken tapped the scythe's base and called upon green, northern lights. "This isn't balance!" The wings covered the boys back, appearing like a cloak. A hood covered the head and engulfed the body in darkness. "We're not yours!"
A set of stary eyes appeared, Xehanort knew he was in for a sweat. "Don't deny your true potential. When one is put into a corner, with nowhere to hide, they reveal what they truly are."
Rumble!
The Reaper slashed the aurora and made a flowing wave of ice. Vanitas used that as a chance to slide after the Dark Seeker, having a more effective strike and knowing the Reaper followed with the blade. Xehanort flipped No Name's tip at the scythe and tossed it across the arena, while pushing Vanitas back.
BLAST! The Reaper flung a wave of the Aurora at Xehanort and blew him over the arena. Vanitas stopped for that second, looked at the Reaper with astonishment and watched it call it's scythe back. It kept it's gaze on the dark horizon, bring attention towards a floating Xehanort that is looking upon a threat. The Dark Seeker raise his hands in the air, calling upon an ocean. "Sink!"
He pushed downward and made the water rise, swallowing the two into the deep. Where naught a glimmer of light is to be found. Xehanort conjured a duo of serpents to sic at the two. The Reaper flew from the monsters as Vanitas warped, seeing most of everything is normal. Xehanort dived to the arena and let loose cloud of heated water. The Darkseeker rushed out with collection whips and yelled in anger at the two who think they could overcome him.
Across the Stairs of Light.
Xion reached a pulsing chamber of seven, heart shaped prisons. Each one containing a Maiden of Light, one particular, held a slumbering, if horrified, Kairi. The Vector of the Heavens sprouted wings and dashed to the center, she called to her blade and shot out seven rays of light. Quickly cracking and freeing out the maidens. They enveloped in light and Kairi woke up in shock, before falling over. Xion caught her battle sister tightly. "Don't worry, things are going to be okay."
Kairi shivered. "Xion, where's Sora?!" The black haired girl answered calmly. "Out there, in some trouble. Shadey's gone out ahead of us to help him out." The Princess stiffen her lips and sprouted her wings. "Then we got to get out there with him. What about my Lil' Bro though?" Xion crossed her heart in pride. "He and the other of us are fighting against Xehanort. Once you see the Light, don't look back." Kairi nodded, transformed into a six winged heart and flew off. The black haired girl made her run out of the chamber and into the pitch black darkness, seeing a clash of a star against the abyss.
Down the Dark Steps.
Dupmic entered a fleshy chamber, with prisons like the one he was bound to. Various villains, trapped in a hell of their own making. In the center ground, was a prison someone not belonging to this nightmare. Riku. Dupmic gritted his teeth, rubbed his tearing eyes, raised his blade and impaled the prison. He twisted it loose and spilled out an aura of darkness that quickly gave to a sunrise. It shattered and gave Dupmic the chance to drag out his real doppelganger. Riku was dazed, trying to realize where he is and upon seeing his Replica and the prisons of Maleficent and Ahriman, knew where he is. He panicked. "No, no, this can't be happening!"
Dupmic patted him on the shoulder. "That's what we're here for. If Xion's busted the Princesses out with no problems, then you should know where they're heading to." He pointed his thumb to the door. "Sora needs you, now more than ever."
Riku was on it, sprouted wings and turned into a heart. "Got it. While you're down here, see if you can't make more havoc. If Xehanort thinks he can keep controlling others like they're a bunch of puppets, then he has another thing coming."
Woosh! He flew out and left Dupmic in a conundrum. The first heart that comes to mind to free, over any of the other scum is dormant in the armor of azure. Dupmic slowed his breathing, walked to the prison, placed his hand on the crystal and smashed it. Waking up the dormant Sorcerer and watching a set of eyes sparkle in blue. Dupmic stepped aside and watched the prison burst, his being raced in terror as he watched Ahriman step off.
The Replica shivered and asked. "D...Dad?" Ahriman looked at Dupmic and tapped his staff, breathing heavily to a plethora of events and looking upon one that was making the chamber shake. Maleficent, the Horned King and Garlands prison cracked. "Impossible!"
Dupmic swallowed. "There isn't anything we can do for your brothers. But we can still make this right. Do you got a plan for how we can make this X Blade blow up in Xehanort's face?"
Ahriman was on the verge of mourning and vowing vengeance. "...Yes, I think I do." He put a hand on Dupmic's shoulder, wishing. "Go back there, keep Xehanort's Will occupied and put an end to this long scheme. Make your Fate as you will it."
Dupmic nodded, made his dash out of the chamber, stopped and turned his head. "Yeah. Thank you for giving us that chance." Ahriman nodded and turned to his machination of revenge, as Dupmic went into the darkness and found a star shining brightly.
In the center of the X Blade.
Vanitas and the Reaper were in a swirl of mayhem, sinking blows against the Darkness itself. Xehanort swam into the deep and conjured a glowing blue, squid like creature, with tentacles going down into forever. He raised his hand up and made the squid snare the two by the leg. "A pity."
The two felt a shocking sting, Vanitas and Ken gave a combined slash of ice to free themselves. The fiend flipped after the Darkseeker was about blinded by a radiance. Ken turned to see seven lights flying off to the unknown and an eight, ascending from the darkness. He cheered in his deathly form. "I knew they would prevail." It turned to the Darkseeker to show eyes that were squinting in joy. "It's going to be up to the Bringer of the Light, to open the way."
Xehanort gritted his teeth, tried to out maneuver the two and went after the escaping hearts. Vanitas phewed and asked. "You really think we're just going to let you walk out of this? You've made your bed, now you get to lay in it."
PEW! LEAP!
A winged girl crashed down from the stairs above, ready to give Xehanort a piece of her mind. "You're not getting away with this anymore." Tap! Dupmic crawled from the depths bellow and flapped his own set of wings. "Did I miss anything?" Vanitas wasn't going to answer, Ken floated backwards, over the edge. "Just the Darkness getting worse. But he hasn't figured us out yet."
Xehanort guessed with a raised. "You have another form to match your essence, don't you?" The cloak and eyes disappeared. "Not in the way you see it. Look to the stars, they will show everything."
Xion and Dupmic's black feathers turned into a misty star and stood side by side as feathers of their own, appeared in the darkness. Revealing something that scrambled the cognitions mind, an angelic figure, with a skeletal head composing of the faces of night bound beasts. The star like eyes and the hairy spider arms look like something beyond the world. Two orbs, one looking like a planet and one looking like tiny universe spawned from the chest. Xehanort glared at the Night Angel, ever so stubborn. He aimed his blade and let loose a barrage of briney clouds.
Outside of the X Blade.
Outside of the X Blade.
Sora was about to completely white out and felt the pain halting. He fell over, flipped on his hands and knees to try and calm down. "We need that light back."
Sora stood up, hearing his own voice and watching his body darken. Donald and Goofy were in horror at the dark, red eyed form. "Sora!" The boy gave Xehanort a glare for death. The Darkseeker smirked and expelled the drained light into a circle of pillars. The Pillars spun around the arena, getting faster with each layer. Donald and Goofy made steps forward as Sora flickered around each one and kept a primal stance. Xehanort laughed and flickered after Sora. "Begone!"
Swipe! Warp!
The boy flickered and appeared behind the Darkseeker before taking a strike at the back. Warp! Xehanort teleported to a charging distance, using the light pillars as a distraction to try and impale the boy. Sora sprinted around a pillar, on all fours and leaped to the tip of the X Blade before slashing the old man in the chest. The boy unleashed a combo, not too far from how Shadey attacks, using his free hand and feet to go along with a clawing. Warp! Xehanort warped back to the center of the arena. "Burn in the Light, boy."
He unleashed a duo of fiery lights, Sora leaped out of the way and caught Xehanort warping wildly. Knocking Donald and Goofy across before going for the boy.
The two clashed blow after blow, neither connecting. Sora flung orbital projectiles, pushing Xehanort back and getting a momentum. Warp! Xehanort retreated to the center and conjured the pillars once more. An idea sparked. "He's blocking our blade with his. But you know what he isn't blocking?" "Everything else!"
Sora nodded with Shadey. They flowed around the pillars once more, the dazed companions were catching what precisely is off with Sora, beyond the dark form, a sync. Xehanort noticed, unleashed a light wave and warped after the boy, with more precision towards the wrist. Sora parried with the push and swung a punch, Xehanort took it and warped to the left, if to avoid that. Sora struck at the X Blade and spun a kick that staggered the Dark Seeker, he followed with another three and kept striking. Xehanort was in a juggle, tried to get momentum back and saw Sora flipping mid air to shove both feet at the old man's stomach.
The boy and his shadow sparked in a bright red aura, flung a tendril at Xehanort and hurled him to the center. They warped to the side and rushed through him like spears, repeating over and over again before flipping above and before the Moon. Tendrils of rage wiggled out and engulfed Sora's whole being, flooding with the desire to take back what was rightfully his. They crashed down on Xehanort and smashed him into the pavement.
Letting loose a flash of light, Donald and Goofy kept together and watched Sora roll to him. Having his color back to normal and spilling out a shadow. They sighed in relief and embraced the boy. Sora hugged back and watched something strange happening to the shadow. It burst into a strange symbol, of a two sided halo, with an x cross connecting them. It condensed into an orb and raised up a claw. One looking like a fox, pulling out was a form, fitting for the claw, a black, wild maned, man sized, red eyed beast.
It stood by Sora, gave the grounded Xehanort a glare and roared before rushing on all fours. Xehanort got up, saw the beast coming for him and warped away. Towards the radiant shadow of the moon and calling upon it's power to bombard the four in light. Donald and Goofy rushed over to Shadey, who looked up at Xehanort and conjured glowing stars to fling with.
It danced away from a blast and watched the Dark Seeker deflect that. Sora had an idea and channeled a blue light into his armor, causing it to spike up as he raised his blade to the moon. Shadows rushed over at the boy, each resembling black hooded figures with distinct blades. Sora flipped over the cluster and slashed the blue light, he slowly approached the Dark Seeker, with a blue moon sword in hand.
Xehanort fired more intense rays at the boy as Shadey burst out in shadows and swept a cold malice at the old man. Xehanort sic the phantoms at the feral fox and watched it jump away like a specter. He blast it afar and focused on Sora. The boy rolled from the gang attack and watched two beams come at him. He struck with the moonlit sword, absorbed it in the blade and swiped a quick blast of his own. Knocking the Darkseeker off his levitation and giving Shadey the moment to high jump as a burning spirit.
He grabbed Xehanort by the chest and slashed across it. The Dark Seeker watched another claw come at him and swatted him away with No Name. He aimed the two blades and channeled a dark blast that shot Shadey over the edge of the summit, sending the fox falling down to the city bellow. The trio gasped. "Shadey!" And watched Xehanort descend with the two blades in hand, coming at them as a flurry of darkness, more particular at Sora.
The boy kept clashing with an aura of light and building up a momentum. Xehanort warped and lunged at Sora with an x crossed pattern, the boy enveloped in the swords glow, struck Xehanort back and let loose the essence of a giant dragon that unleashed a blast of blue light. Xehanort flipped to the shadow of the Moon and halted the moment. Sora swiped the blade, called the dragon back to him and aimed, firing a ray at the Dark Seeker. Xehanort aimed No Name at the beam and caused it to scatter side ways.
Sora gritted his teeth at a finisher that didn't work and watched the Dark Seeker smirk at a Kingdom Key that spent the power of the Dragon. "This ends, here and now!" He raised the X Blade to Kingdom Hearts and caused the moon to darken, letting loose a grey cloud as a purple darkness engulfed the Heart. Sora, Donald and Goofy stepped back as the darkness fed into the X Blade.
Xehanort aimed the blade down at the boy and fired an intense beam. Sora shielded himself and made a stand against the blast. Crack! Crack!
Sora's eyes widen on hearing the crack and looked to his blade, on the verge of breaking. As the boy was about to be overwhelmed, a shield pressed against the hilt with him. He looked to his right and found Goofy pushing back against the darkness with him. The shield bearer looked to his partner with determination and nodded, Sora looked left to find Donald, using his staff and pressing it with the bladed end. The mage looked Sora in the eyes and nodded.
The two companions, who've journeyed with Sora since the very beginning, shined in a light of green and blue, his own light becoming red. The boy looked back at the beam, with newfound determination and together with his friends, pushed the dark beam away. Sora aimed back, with his friends standing by him and aiming their handy catalysts with his. The image of a crown, shined at their feet, the three lights channeled to the Kingdom Key, undoing the cracks and launched a trinity beam at the darkness.
Splitting the power, like a heated knife would split wax. Xehanort saw what was happening and at the split second, was blasted by the light, the X Blade's tip shattered, leaving behind a broken blade and eight orbs of light escaping from their prison. Six of the lights, most pure, descended into the city bellow as two flew over to the corridor. The Dark Seeker burned in the light and fell to the ground in a scream. Sora, Goofy and Donald panted, realize what those lights are and followed their eyes to where a six winged heart and a morning shine flowed to.
The trio completely forgot about Xehanort and followed the two hearts that reached to the scattered bodies of Riku and Kairi. Kairi was bent limp against the side of a door and by her was Riku laying on his side. The hearts went in and caused the bodies to move. Kairi breathed, was feeling the pain at the back of her head as Riku jolted awake and pushed himself up. He flipped on his rear and seeing Sora sprinting to call them. "Guys!"
Glomp!
The two felt an embrace of worry, were almost crushed by the boy pouncing on them and embraced back, getting up together with some tears. The five turned to see Xehanort trying to get up and looking to something circling the sky. Clouds of Crimson, Putrid Green, Blue and Pink. Finding shapes of a Winged Warrior, a Mountain of Flies, Ever Changing Eyes and a Hungry Face, with a dripping tongue. Xehanort gazed upon the visions, with absolute terror and got himself up. "No, not yet." He channeled the X Blade to the sky and made Kingdom Hearts pulse the images away. "I will not let them hold dominion over me! I will not let them take what is mine!"
The five had their hearts skip a beat at the images of the gods, seeing faces of glee, rage and arrogance at one mans defiance. Sora readied to smack Xehanort across the face. "Xehanort, listen to us! If you try to take these four on, you're going to lose!"
The Dark Seeker raised an eyebrow at the boy. "So it seems. Time and time again, the bearers of the Light, stand against the Darkness, only to be swallowed by it's might. Yet, amongst the countless hearts I've seen, why has yours kept the Light alive? A meager boy who was born on a tiny island? You were not born into greatness, nor chosen by greatness. Not even a fading spark, could have stirred you to keep standing in my way and uniting these lost fools together."
Kairi drew her blade and answered with righteous fury. "Because he's always had a strong heart that needed to prove itself and because of that, many of us have done the same." Riku readied for the brawl and directed his eyes to Donald and Goofy. "Even people who were never chosen by some golden destiny, try their darnest to make things right. And they gain the strength to come to somewhere like this and stop someone like you." Goofy nodded in the honor. "That's right!" Donald stomped the ground and warned the Darkseeker. "You're not going to win against them alone!"
That, the old man agreed to. "Not without a heart of that strength, I won't." He aimed the X Blade at Sora and shrouded himself in darkness. "Sora, your heart and the light it brings, will remind the Chaos gods of their place!"
The Destiny Trio flinched at the threat as Donald and Goofy made a stand together and charged. The Shield Bearer firmly defied the old man. "You're not going to lay another hand on Sora!" Donald spoke fiercely. "You'll have to get through us!"
The dark wind, surrounding Xehanort reached out as a giant hand and swatted the two over the tower, sending them falling and screaming to the city bellow. Kairi covered her mouth in shock and Riku gave Xehanort a death glare. Sora gasped to where his friends were knocked to and was about to jump after them. "Goofy, Donald!"
His eyes were away from the cloud and he sensed a danger coming at them, a jagged, harpoon aimed for his chest. SMACK! SHATTER!
Kairi and Riku struck the harpoon as one and made their stand against the Dark Seeker, the cloud blasted a force against the two and pushed them back. Sora charged with his friends and made the push they needed, against the malignant power. The energy slithered into the shroud and condensed around the old man, transforming into a striking suit of armor. A black robed, chain dangling knight, with shadings of red, having grey nailed, crimson gauntlets and a crimson neck covering the mans face. The neck went up to a white goat skull, with curled grey horns.
The armored man laughed with a renewed resolve. "So it was a self made destiny that has brought you all before me? You are a cluster of candles, standing together against the unknown." The platform raised up, bringing the Destiny Trio and the Dark Seeker towards the dark shrouded Kingdom. "Come. Together, we will bring forth a new reality from the Abyss itself!"
The Destiny Trio posed for a more drastic round and Riku pointed at the broken X Blade, whispering to his team. "He's finally lost it. Kairi, did you feel who ever was helping you in that thing?" The Princess nodded. "I remember. If Xion helped me and the Princesses escape, then that means Dupmic helped you out to?" Sora gasped. "So that's how Shadey got out of there!" Riku nodded. "Yeah, we're not alone here. There are hearts trapped in that blade, that want us to succeed."
Xehanort conjured eleven, illusionary No Names to his call as Kairi finished the plan. "They're fighting in there. We got to break that X Blade and get the rest of our friends out of this. Sora, how did you break that?" The boy can't exactly explain. "We worked together to make it happen." He perked. "So let's free those hearts and put an end to this."
The Destiny Trio made their charge against the Dark Seeker that swiped his blade, darken the arena and expanded it. "You will all fade into the Abyss!"
In the City Bellow.
SWIPE! Ven and Terra were sent through the splinters of a building by the claws of Dorghar. They caught a landing and watched Aqua and Mickey clash their blades with the Everchosen. Archaon used his shield to parry the King and slashed to shove Aqua off. The Keyblade Master let herself flip and flung soul arrows as the other two Wayfinders tried to get back into the fight.
Dorghar inhaled and spat out caustic, bone filled bile, while his master knocked Mickey away and used Ana's heart to scream out lightning bolts. Aqua flickered from the blast as her companions flowed to the rubble and use it to get a higher jump to the daemons back. Archaon slashed Mickey away and caught Aqua trying to lasso the heart of Ana out of his grasp.
The Everchosen raise his arm up to catch the rope and yank the Keyblade Master to his personal space. "Are you that eager to join your pupil in agony?" CLASH! The two blades and the Slayer of Kings tasted each others metal, Aqua had to turn off the rope and lock eyes. Archaon aimed the crackling heart and boasted. "Face your end."
Terra and Ven made their jump at Dorghar's back and watched him take off in flight, the two flipped their blades into gliders and ram them at the rear.
Shoving the steed and forcing Archaon to hold on. Dorghar flew to a standing building and use it as a stepping stone for a high jump. Ven and Terra grabbed onto a saddle strap and kept striking the back as Aqua and Mickey crouched to get a better footing. Aqua crossed her blades against the Slayer of Kings as Mickey shot a point blank flash at the Three Eyed King. Archaon closed his eyes at the splint second and used Ana's heart to punch Aqua off.
The Keyblade Master felt the circuit, gritted her teeth and found herself falling. She flung rope at Dorghar's claw and used the fall to fling herself back up. The Steed noticed the rope and used it's beak head to snap it off, right as Aqua was swinging high, the battle mage channeled out her blue wings and dived into the fray.
Mickey clashed with Archaon by himself, light and lightning pushed together. The Everchosen thought to return a spell with a spell and aimed his sword hand at the nimble mouse, unleashing tendrils of raw chaos and catching him in a bind. Dorghar reached the top of the wall and jumped, shaking the King and bringing him to a slashing point.
Fling!
Terra grappled Archaon as Ven reached for Ana and smacked the arm with his hilt. Archaon half turned and growled a curse. "ᚠᚨᛚᛚ ᛁᚾᛏᛟ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚠᛚᚨᛗᛖᛋ ᛟᚠ ᚤᛟᚢᚱ ᚠᚨᛁᛚᚢᚱᛖ." Sssssss.
Terra was feeling his arms burning into an immense pain, he kept holding on. Archaon swung an electrical punch at Ven, saw the boy duck and rushed his fist at Terra, knocking him to Dorghar's right wing. Archaon's sword glowed a daemonic aura and was swung to the struggling King, ready to live up to it's name.
BONK!
Aqua descended to the back of Archaon's head and knocked him forward before spinning and blasting a combination of crystal and fire. Mickey used his chance to leap at Ana's heart and grab it, flipping to give a good yank from the hand. Archaon grabbed his shield and used it as an improve, to bash Aqua in the face and try butcher her where she stood. He caught the sight of an extravagant port, going over the sea and showing stained glass. More importantly, it is around the lowest point of the city. Dorghar laughed and dived to the port in a falling speed. Ven cringed. "He's trying to drop in there with us!"
Clash!
He flew to Aqua and took a slash, his partner took another and wiggled her fingers to flicker four crystals. Clash! Terra climbed to saddle and listened to the pattern of the second one. It was a code. Mickey tried to cast another flash, getting Archaon in the eyes and blinding him. "WRAR!"
He slashed wildly and felt his blade hitting nothing. His vision returned and found not any of the four. He turned his head to see them hovering in a rift of crystal and had Dorghar ready for a turn. The steed landed on the port and slid to the edge, waiting for the four to come closer. The Wayfinders looked to Mickey, who had Ana's heart in hand. Aqua breathed out in relief. "Thank goodness, we got her back at least." Mickey nodded as the fall reached a landing. "But now, Archaon's mad."
Ven pulsed a heal for his companions and himself. "Good, maybe now he'll take us seriously."
Crackle!
The four felt the Firekeepers Wish sparkling out a suggestion. A suggestion that gave Aqua some interest, Terra asked. "We got something that can even the odds? Do we?"
The four flipped a landing and were face to face with Lord of the Apocalypse. Archaon's three eyes burned, knowing something that Aqua hasn't spoken of. The Keyblade Master went into a trance and aimed the heart of a world at Ana's heart. "Ana, we need your help! Take this and stand."
Puff!
Ana's heart caught on fire and drew in the fours shadows. Melding together into a strange miracle. A body, not of much armor beyond light metal, but very fit. The body came alive and Ana opened her eyes, in a fusion of lightning and flames. She breathed out a storm and let out a Dracoth that glared at Dorghar and roared. Ana begun shaking. "By Sigmar, what have you done?!"
Aqua swiped her blade and brought out the Masters Defender. "Rescuing you from this guy." Archaon roared. "Desperate fool, do you know what you've invoked?" Aqua let the blade flow to Ana and turned. "I do, with power of the Flames Heart, the Firekeeper was able to make a body for Ana to use. It's not going to last long, but it's going to be more than enough."
Ana grabbed the blade and shined with it. "That's what I thought. Well, we got more than just a task on our hands." She readied to charge. "So let's make this count!" The air around her warmed up to make storm clouds, Ana glared at the Everchosen and flew like a bolt. Archaon howled and smashed his shield at the charging Stormcast, catching a glow of blue glimmering after him. He clashed the Slayer of Kings with Aqua's blades and watched a shooting star making a flip.
He shoved the ladies away and countered Mickey's dive as Dorghar caught Ven and Terra trying to maneuver a strike on it's master. The three heads smiled wide and sprinted at the grown up, Terra back flipped from a smash of claws and clashed with the daemons teeth. The Khornate Head took a clawing from Moonfang crunched at the mans arm, Ven sprouted blades of wind and stabbed into the heads eye. He slashed wildly and squirmed around the jaws.
WHIP!
Dorghar gave the two a viscous lashing, one of the tails gave Ven quite a gash. Flap! The daemon flew over and circled around as his Master aimed his sword, conjuring an eight pointed metal rift that smelled of brimstone. The band of five watched fire roar from the rift, Aqua shifted an eye to the burning blade, that is glimmering like a sun. She called to the boys. "Everyone get behind me!"
She braced the Firekeepers Wish as the boys dashed, Aqua let loose a barrier of sunlight as the Darkfire spewed. The torrent pushed against the light and spread around. Archaon glared at the feral spell and caused it to howl, sucking it back into the Chaos. He and Dorghar dived at the six and roared.
Terra, Ven and Mickey glided right as Moonfang hoisted the ladies and dashed left. The Dracoth jumped over the edge and took flight, Ana focused on the four points of the fell duo, aimed the Masters Defender and called. "Storms, strike them true!"
A multitude of lightning bolts shot into the hide of the steed and shocked the Everchosen. Moonfang inhaled and breathed out storm bolts as Archaon conjured an arcane barrier and deflected the flow. Dorghar flew after the three and Aqua pointed further ahead. Blink! The three warped to a crystal and avoided a whole lot of brutality. Ana and Moonfang followed with their storm bolts again and breathed out a super cell blast that swept the foes away.
Dorghar and Archaon enveloped into a twin tailed fire ball and rushed for a slam. Moonfang dived down from the rush and Ana thought of something. "So he wants to that does he?"
She circled her blade and enveloped her companions in a stary light. The ground bound fighters, who were lining up a shot at Archaon, watched a twin tailed comet collide with another. Ven swallowed and puffed his cheeks as Terra turned his blade into the trusty bow. He lined up a stalagmite at the red comet and strung the string. They made contact and brought about annoyance, Ven felt his lungs at their limit and let loose a roar of Biting Wind that chomped at Dorghar and made him loose balance, Mickey conjured balloons and launched them at the steed, each one sent the steed on a fall with the ground.
Archaon held on, had his sights at the three, pointed to the ground and swiped his finger to them. Rumble! Rumble! The three saw the ground shaking and slithering at them, they made a run for it and watched a multitude of spears erupt. The tremors split apart to chase their victims. Leap! "Hiyaaaa!"
Archaon swiped his shield and blocked a fast blow from Aqua, who had Stormfall with her, but not the other blade. Slash! A burning cut in the back answered why. Slash!
Archaon took another and swiped Aqua away before letting his shield go and turn to swipe a floating, Burning Blade. As he grabbed the hilt, the blade bust into ashes and blew across. Aqua giggled in spite. "Got ya!"
PEW!
Archaon had a vision of a crystal, prism rain and stepped to the side of the saddle to avoid the projectiles. He turned back to his front and saw Aqua hovering in mid air to aim again. Dorghar's Tzeentchian head extended it's neck and lunged at the Keyblade Master. PEW! Aqua warped to get behind a pouncing Moonfang that sank her claws into the daemons neck, Ana smashed her blade with the Everchosens as the projectiles snaked around the Stormcast and peppered the foe.
The Slayer of Kings ignited and Archaon went wild, slashing Ana towards the ground and smacking Moonfang over the edge as a loose flame. Dorghar sprinted after Aqua and gave his master the momentum for a shield bash. Aqua clashed Stormfall as the Firekeepers Wish rushed past her and speared into the Everchosen's shoulder. The Keyblade Master as knocked over, yet she smirked and called the burning blade back to her. She flipped and stabbed the ground, Terra felt a tremor coming from Aqua, was feeling a little excited for some reason and smashed the ground with the Ends of the Earth.
Making a tremor that rushed with Aqua's and made the ground heat up and explode into an eruption of molten rock and fire. Dorghar was in a screaming fit and attempted to regenerate his wounds. Just as the battle would continue, something caught a gleam in the fighters eyes, the tower itself was lightning up from something and a beam reached to the moon above, bringing it closer.
Archaon stood there in confusion. "What is that fool doing?!" Mickey looked up to see Kingdom Hearts at the proximity of the tower and gasped. "Is he bringing Kingdom Hearts that close to the city?! Doesn't he know those four are after it." Archaon groaned. "He is but one man, tied to mortality." and ordered. "Dorghar, let's put an end to this before the gods get too close."
The steed took flight for the tower, Ven yelped. "Hey, get back here!" Ana wasn't sure how fast Moonfang can recover and thought of something. Grabbing Aqua in a bear hug and spinning for a throw. The Keyblade Master eeked as Terra gasped, held Ven like one a football and tried a similar idea. The two Wayfinders yelped as they were hurled after the Everchosen, they took the velocity and turned their blades into gliders, with Ven hanging on his for dear life. Woosh!
Archaon heard the woosh and had Dorghar turn to fly backwards, it spit bile at the two as the Master shot a multitude of fire balls. The gliders swerved around the barrage, Aqua fired back her own barrage as Ven aimed a light bolt. Dorghar flew right and mocked the two, not aware that Archaon had his view on the bolt that crystalized and formed into a light clone of Ven that flew to the beasts back. The fell duo turned to the clone that let loose light spears. Archaon rushed through them and had his shield ready for the impact. Ven smirked and pointed his finger, like it was a gun. He pressed his thumb and caused the clone to turn into a white flash of a sun.
BOOM!
The explosion blasted Dorghar and Archaon back where they flew. Ven used it as his chance to prepared as Aqua aligned herself, burning with her blade and swiping out a mass of chaotic fire.
Blasting Dorghar further off control, she let loose another, then another. Ven conjured a collection of lightning spears and chucked each one, doing more to surprise Archaon and keep him falling. After several blasts, Dorghar flipped to his claws and ready for a collision, with the two Wayfinders following him in the fall. Dorghar crashed and leaped a spin as Aqua and Ven returned to the ground and flipped off their gliders. Mickey aimed his blade and formed a barrier of light.
PEW! "And that should keep you from doing that again." Archaon scoffed with contempt. "Until I leave you as a broken body."
He jumped off and sprinted after the King as Dorghar made his rush for the Wayfinders. The trio rushed back and wrestled with the demon as Mickey kept a move away from the Everchosen and rush in for a swift counter. Archaon hissed out a foreign curse and scorched the King in hellfire before following with his spell of tendrils, Mickey back flipped far and was caught by the snare. Leaving him to squirm in a struggle, vulnerable to the Everchosen that caught Ana rushing at him with the force of a hammer.
Archaon spun to shield block the thunderous blow and slash Ana in a quick sync. Knocking her back and charging after the King that had his hands at the ground. A ring of light repulsed the Everchosen to a flip and gave the King time to break free.
Dorghar was laughing wildly at the frantic Wayfinders and felt the hair of its neck standing. He jumped back to avoid a rush from Moonfang, the Wayfinders saw that as a needed distraction, aimed their blades as one and sprouted a crystal flower that blasted the steed back. Archaon slashed with the two bearers and watched Dorghar roll into a twister of black flames, he laughed in good faith and jumped into the vortex. Letting loose tormented specters that thrashed like their lives depended on it.
The twister had something else planned for Ana in particular, specters of writhing Stormcasts that acted like they were in a losing battle. Each strike being as intense, for each specter that fallen, was a soul returning back into the vortex. Each one screaming towards their doom. Then came three figures. A Mighty, Spectral Bloodthirster lashed out at the Wayfinders and forced them towards a bloated Great Unclean One. And a Lord of Change that rushed to Mickey and Ana, as a flock of ravens.
The Great Unclean One let loose ravenous cockroaches, trapping the Wayfinders to the rampaging Khornate. Aqua pressed her blades together and raised them as a fiery great sword before incinerating them in a blast and lunging at the bloated daemon.
Terra conjured his light shield at the Bloodthirster and gave Ven the chance to lower his blade and slash through. Terra gave a push and shoved the daemon into the vortex as Aqua thrust the sword into the Unclean One's spectral guts and slash outward. The bloated one smashed a fist at her in a counter. Aqua flipped, pulled a dagger out of the sword and sprinted at the Daemons head, sinking the dagger into the neck and smacking it into an aether that sucked into the vortex.
Ana whistled to Moonfang, caused her to warp to her side and rushed the birds as one, giving Mickey a ledge to jump over and rain holy pillars. Scattering the ravens into the Greater Daemon that unleashed doom bolts. Ana aimed her blade as Moonfang inhaled. "Begone!"
BLAST!
The two shot lightning that swallowed the bolts and shot the Lord of Change into a ball that was engulfed by the vortex. The vortex grew unstable and shot out a stampede of burning spiked horses. Keeping the band of heroes moving as each horse puffed into nothing and repeated the cycle. The vortex sparked into an inferno and sprouted wings, returning to the three headed monster that is Dorghar.
Leap!
Archaon jumped off of Dorghar's back and dived after the Wayfinders. Roll! The three rolled from the impact and turned to find the Everchosen readying a strike. They braced themselves and were swatted in one blow. Slash! They were struck again and jumped backwards. Archaon blitz after them for another blow and swiped off course, parrying a King that tried to come to their rescue. His shield glowed cinders and blasted the Wayfinders at point blank range. Aqua used a breath, raised Firekeepers Wish and pushed the blast back as Archaon focused on the King.
CLASH! CLASH! TINK!
The Everchosen was quickly overwhelming Mickey, until a third blow halted at the blade. A white light flowed out of the Kings blade and made it glow in runes.
Aqua heard a woman's voice whisper from the blade. "Keep trying, thou aren't alone." The Keyblade Master nodded and raised the Fire Keepers Wish to the air. "Lords of the Ash Blown World, lend us your strength, so we can beat this mad man and heal the worlds! Show Archaon what he's lacking!"
The Burning Blade breathed out a sun that shined upon Ven and Terra, their armor began to reflect the sunlight. Mickey's blade was completely consumed in runes and he had a moment of enlightenment. Aqua however, began to glow in cinders, her form darken and a presence, by her heart, vowed. "About time, let's bring this lunatic back where he came from."
Aqua rushed at Archaon and in one blow, sent him rolling. Dorghar was in a stalemate with Ana and Moonfang, felt a surprise and turned to see his Master being shoved with little effort. Not that Archaon was harmed. Mickey followed with a silent oath and leaped, Archaon blocked with his shield and watched the unthinkable happen, the force of the Dark Borne Kingdom Key forced the shield off of the hand.
Ven's blade sparked out multiple needles and he yelled. "Now! We got him!" Fling!
He flung a multitude of lightning spears as Terra rushed at Archaon and smashed the Ends of the Earth at him. The Slayer of Kings sparkled, Archaon yelled back and slash at the blade, knocking Terra over and using the chance to hold the Kingslayer in both hands. "Pitiful!" He shrugged through the needles and sent Mickey back with one swing before marching after Aqua. "Is this what you've brought yourselves to? Calling upon the gods of a dead world, to save you?!"
"HUAH!"
The Keyblade Master flipped from an intense, storm fed swing as Moonfang pounced on Dorghar's throat and give Ana the chance to rush at the Everchosen. Something in Aqua's heart, begun crying out, without much thought, she joined Ana in a counter assault. The ladies and the Everchosen locked blades and circled around before giving each other a shove. The Sun Blessed followed and were intercepted by Dorghar, who wasted little time playing around and locked his claws with the swords. Archaon looked the ladies in the eyes and snarled. "They couldn't even protect their own world, choosing to burn it all and bring about a rock of ashes! What makes you think-" CLASH! "they would help you here?!"
The Ladies pushed Archaon away, Aqua laughed out tears. "The Four Lords, weren't ever gods. They weren't even favored by them." She flung an ash blowing orb of fire and made the Everchosen jump away. "They were like you from a simpler time, like us, when things were just simple. Even as the darkness was coming, they kept fighting to the end. If they can make it that far, then we can keep pushing towards the Light too."
Ven and Mickey slashed across Dorghar as Terra shoved the beast across. The Everchosen stared at the four, peered into the aura of really mundane knights and laughed. "Fwahaha! Ha ha ha ha! You mean to tell me that you're calling upon a band of mortals that defied the gods and finally made a world theirs?!" His laughter turned into a praise. "This! This is it! This is the power man kind truly holds! To break the shackles of the altars and become their own masters!" His laughter turn bitter. "But do you think the mortals won't just go back to depending on the gods?! Revering you as them instead!" He aimed his sword to the heart in the sky. "That is why the Light and all who covet it, has to die!"
SLASH!
Ven had his chance at a fast attack and got Archaon away from Aqua, the boy asked with horror. "Are you listening to yourself? What's going to happen to everything, in a Dark World of Ruins? How is everyone going to live." He swiped his hand dramatically. "That's no future!"
Archaon stepped back and was almost out of breath. "Neither is a world under the gaze of that fickle Light." He asked. "Where was it when you needed it the most?! Was it slumbering away, for over a decade, while everything burned?" Ven's heart beat as Archaon set a eye at Aqua. "Was it in the High Heavens, during that time? Staying ignorant of your misery?" The Keyblade Master was off guard as Archaon looked upon the Lingering Warrior. "Or did it pay heed and decided to smite you along with the Bringer of the Worlds Doom?" The accuracy was alarming and Archaon focused on Mickey. "Leaving the victims to take what they have and mend the wounds themselves?" He spit towards Ana. "And believing what ever the Lights "messengers," tell them." He cursed. "Bah! Every bearer of Light, that has even been, would sooner take the path of the gods and rip Kingdom Hearts apart. At the moment they have it in their grasp."
The six looked up to the sky and found the four clouds of Chaos, looming over a darken moon. The earth, bent to the will of the Everchosen. "I should do you all the honors and snuff out that Light. It, the pretenders and the Darkness itself, needs to be brought to an end."
Ven charged up in blue lightning and scowled at the Everchosen. "Thanks, but no thanks!" SLASH! The blades locked into a stand still, the Slayer of Kings rippled and shoved. Archaon slowly approached them, with Dorghar looming at his side. He was far from finished.
Elsewhere in the City.
Shadey plumeted to the strange murel and used a gust of cold wind to break the fall and flipped. His head spun in confusion to what happened and looked up to the tower. There wasn't anything to easily get back up there, so he sprinted to the Plaza to find four daemons fighting over a body. A Bloodletter, a Plaguebearer, a Pink Horror and a Daemonette. The Bloodletter stepped over the vessel and roared. "By the right of Might, this vessel will be mine, to win the war of the Heart and spill it's contents all across the realm." The Plaguebearer blew a wad of phlegm at his cohort. "This body toke enough punishment. I will be the one who uses this to free the Everchosen from the infestation." He hacked as the Daemonette marveled at the dirty, if pristine condition. "This, housing a parasite like you?! Oh" It caressed a hand at the body. "it should be used for more... delightful activities." The Pink Horror agreed. "Without this vessel, the Shadelord won't have anywhere to go, should the Darkseeker fail in containing him." He hid a hand and made it disappear, sneaking it towards the body, as the others were arguing. "This one moment can win us this long war and the wars beyond."
The Bloodletter saw the hand going for the body and hissed. "Do not fool us with flattery, At'che'ah. This moment would also cost us."
Shadey recognized the body, glared at the Daemons, enveloped himself in cold wind and leaped after the Pink Horror. Sinking his claws upon the daemon and looked at the other three. He shot a fast, swift barrage of stars and thrust upward to rip the Horrors face off. The Daemonette's head tilted back as the Plaguebearer leaned forward with a gag. The Bloodletter charged. "The Darkness of the Keybearer! DIE!"
Swipe!
Shadey jumped over the deamon and used it's head as a platform before letting loose a malicious wind upon the Plaguebearer, swallowing him in the energy and leaving him frost bitten. LEAP! SLASH! He pounced at the Daemonette that warped around him and sliced back. Shadey stepped aside and breathed out a scorching flame before turning to the remaining two. The Bloodletter turned himself into aether and flowed upon the body. "You have my thanks."
Shadey's red eyes shined as the claws tossed a swift barrage, blasting the Bloodletter in the center mass and making the Plaguebearer bleed. "Urk!" He charged with his knife and was pierced in the chest by the Shadow, it faded and left the distorting Bloodletter that shifted to it's corporeal form and slashed. Shadey rolled back and rushed at the daemon, finishing it off and leaving the body untainted. The entity looked around, making sure there wasn't any further danger and turned to Ken's body.
He silently cried for the kind of messes his friend has to go through and tried to pick him up. Suddenly, the body moved. Shadey halted and braced for a fight as the body opened a pair of dull, grey eyes, Ken's lips twitched in annoyance at the multiple colored clouds in the sky. The Body stood up, without much of a care and looked around, seeing Shadey made the body jump.
Shadey wanted to ask something and came off as a growling fox, the Body looked at him confused and approached him, wanting to pet what seemed to be fur. "Shadey!" He smiled, glad to see a friend again. "Shadey!" Shadey blinked and had a recollection of what is going on. A strong enough heart, would leave behind some will power for the Body to go on, should it be severed in some way. The Body embraced Shadey and rubbed his head to the fur, he was about to close his eyes and saw a flash in the sky. Six stars of light flew out of the tower and fell towards somewhere in the city. The Body recognize what those lights are, remembering of two sisters that tried warning him. "The Princesses!"
He asked Shadey. "Our friends busted them out, but we need to find where Elsa and the others are going." The Entity agreed, wanted to ask the Body something and found it pointless. He rushed to the direction of the lights, making sure the Body kept close. He followed more calmly and was seeing danger all around, it was enough of an urge that he tried to call about something. Black and white tethers sprang from the wrist and condensed into a metal baseball bat. It was no keyblade, but beggars can't be choosers.
Nothing else in particular stopped them. Save for the few buildings left standing and in the way. Shadey leaped on one and climbed as the Body thought of something, brought out an old jacket and tied the sleeves. He high jumped and with some will, used the jacket as a glide. Shadey snorted in pride at the quick thinking Body and flowed across the rubble, making it across until it finds a moat with flowing in.
Bark!
The Body agreed and made his glide. "Race you to the bottom!" It really wasn't much of a challenge, Shadey jumped into the moat and landed in shallow, foot deep water as the Body landed on a wall and kicked towards a corridor into a water way. A wide, spacious, white walled structure built in the bottom of the city. PEW! PEW!
At the moment the Body entered, a dozen water cores and marine lanterns appeared in the droves. The Body didn't feel too surprised, though danger is all around him. He focused once more in hope for something handy to appear in his hand. In white and black, came a smaller, lasgun. Purple, with silver tips. The Body gasped, smiled and didn't waste time getting close to a water core cluster and shooting one in the forehead. PEW! PEW!
Poof! Another core leaped at him to get a bite and was bashed by the baseball bat, the Body repeated the blow until the heartless met its end. Shadey leaped at the lanterns, clawing one in half and fling a multitude of swift stars.
The Body finished off the water flinging cores without much of a care for them and saw a light in the far end and going to the right. Shadey felt lonely, knowing the Body isn't sharing his whole self's love for architecture. It was a march and a turn to a raised gateway. Bringing the two to a chamber with the six, crystal spiders. Each one having a maiden that is waking up from a horrid dream. Anna was right in view of the door and was the first to see the Body, she gasped and whipped the sweat from her head. "Phew! I knew someone was going to rescue us!" She waved. "Hey, Ken!" At the center, in view of her sister, was Elsa, who pressed her head at the crystal and saw a boy with a bat, a pistol and a shadow monster.
She pressed her lips and gave thanks, the princess by her, Tiana, was a little suspicious about the creature by him. "Now, hold on, something isn't right here." The Body agreed with here there. "It definitely doesn't feel right. This whole city is a mess. But-" He half dropped his eyes. "you can help the Dudes of the Light put an end to this. I think-" He imagined a shatter. "Yeah, I think I got it."
Tiana put her hands at her hips and gave the Body a scowl as Rapunzel looked to the bat, gasped and smiled wide. "Hit this as hard as you can and we'll be out of here!" The Body liked what Rapunzel was thinking as Belle asked. "With a stick like that?" Jasmine sighed and leaned back. "If it doesn't have a lock, then you got to do it the old fashion way."
The Body decided against freeing the Princesses first, for a Queen could be handy in case something gets sprung. On the step, Shadey sensed something, turned to find a cloaked Sharpshooter lining up at the Body and jumped in the way. Howling to bring attention and getting shot for his trouble. The Body was pushed across, yelped and turned with his pistol. A condescending voice asked. "So you finally lost those hand me downs, didn't you kid?"
The Body turned to see a familiar face sitting on one of the crystals. Braig had a smirk at the words. "Rebelled against your Master one too many times? Or did your shadows marked your Heart wan-" The Body approached Elsa and used the bat to analyze the force needed, the Sharpshooter was completely ignored. Braig aimed and barked. "Hey, I'm not done talking to you-" The Body didn't even look at him, pointed the lasgun and fired at the mans right knee.
PEW! "Waa-" Thud!
The sharp burning beam definitely fractured something in the knee cap and sent Braig falling on his face. The Body put the pistol to his hip, used both hands on the bat and went to Elsa's prison. "Here goes nothing." TWACK! In one blow, the crystal took the pattern of a spider web. TWACK! Another sent shards flying, Shadey got up from the shot and went for Tiana's prison, extending his claws and cutting the cage into shards. TWACK!
A third hit shattered the prison, the Body offered Elsa a hand. "Sorry if that guy was annoying you. Me and Shadey might have passed along a secret he had and now there is a lot of people after him." Elsa pieced together that Braig is a full blown criminal. The Sharpshooter pushed himself and had a bolt meant for the boys skull. "Piece of-" Elsa waved her hand at Braig and froze him in place, leaving him shivering. "We don't have time to deal with hoodlums right now. I think you should leave."
The Body laughed crudely. "Oh cold snap!" Anna snorted unlike a lady and laughed with him. "Oh, ho, ho. I shouldn't be lau-laughing at this."
Tiana stepped off, recognized the Shadow creature and watched a behavior as different as night and day. She asked the Body. "Do have a spare bat, sugar?" The boy tried to conjure another and found nothing coming out, he shrugged and attacked Anna's prison as Shadey went for Rapunzel's. Then went for Jasmine and Belle. The Princesses phewed and looked around, the most knowledgeable of the six looked around. "Now, how do we get out of here?" The Body put his thumb back where they came. "I found ladders on the way." He turned to Shadey, who wasn't too wounded. "Then we can figure out what we should do next?"
Shadey nodded and let the ladies go first, he and the Body left last, forgetting about the Sharpshooter and keeping watch. Rapunzel was wooing over the architecture and splashed in the water. "This is like the Beach!" She asked. "Is there more things like this?" Belle and Jasmine had a fond memory of the palace they lived in, the reader answered. "Well, if this is a city, then we'll have plenty to explore." Anna nodded. "When we're stopping what ever is going on up there." She asked. "Ken, what's actually happening?"
The Body bluntly answered. "The Apocalypse!" Anna nodded and flinched. "The what?!" Tiana guessed. "Someone's messed around with a bunch of angry voodoo and we're going to have to stop his friends?" The Body raised a finger. "Ding!"
Elsa found a ladder going up and climbed, Shadey and the Body high jumped in a lead and found a corridor taking a high turn right. The Body promised. "Shadey is good at tracking who ever can explain what we got to do. Once we find that someone, we'll figure out the rest."
Jump!
The Princesses made their climb as Belle had a suspicion at the behavior. "Is something the matter, young man?" The Body wondered as he counted for each one. "Is it normal to feel empty inside? Because it should have been real nice to meet you all." Shadey put a hand on the Body's shoulder as Rapunzel had worries. "That can't be normal." The Body looked to Shadey and back to the ladies. "I won't figure that out if we're all dead. Stay by us and be careful, there could be some Heartless and Daemons watching us." The maidens couldn't argue with that truth and followed to the surface.
Falling from the tower.
Donald and Goofy were nearly blinded by the velocity, but they know they were heading to solid ground. The Mage readied his staff and shouted. "Graviga!"
The two's surroundings darken for a moment and they felt their fall slowing, to where they can see more clearly. Seeing they were heading to a neighborhood that's had some rubble in the streets. The two landed quite gently and breathed out in relief over there survival, the shield bearer admitted. "That was some nice, quick thinkin' there." Donald nodded and looked up to the tower, seeing a circle of light being raised towards Kingdom Hearts and darkening. "We got to get back up there, stat."
He and Goofy looked around, finding nothing that would bring them up. The Mage was down on the luck and was about to panic as his companion realize. "It sure is easy to get lost here. If we can't find the path to that tower, then Sora and his friends are on their own." Donald turned and groaned. "Don't say that! Things were getting crazy up there." Goofy agreed with him on that. "And they're gonna get worse. But I'm thinkin' that those kids can handle it with or without us." He put his hand on his chest. "I can feel it."
Donald frowned and looked up again. "But we can still try." Goofy smiled to his partner. "It wouldn't hurt." "RWAR!" "CAW!" WRWRWRWR!"
Then came the echoing roar of Dorghar, coming from a street corner at the left. The two gasped in terror and followed the noise, seeing a barrier of light, containing a vicious sprawl against the Everchosen and his giant daemon. Dorghar disrupted the Wayfinders coordination as Archaon blocked Mickey, a familiar ash covered woman and a Dracoth they know. Mickey was slowly losing some ground against the Everchosen's speed and roared in conviction. Goofy and Donald had a plan in mind and charged to the barrier, going through it with ease.
The Everchosen stopped his attack and turned, seeing Donald aiming. "Ink!"
SPLAT!
The Everchosen stepped back to avoid the splatter as Goofy rushed a slide. "Get away from them!" Archaon took his sword and slashed at the fighter. TINK! The blade didn't slice through a shield glowed in an aura of lightning, courtesy of Ana. The Everchosen sighed, looked to Mickey and gestured to them, like he had a point to make. "Even without the so called blessings of the Key, these worms keep surviving. For all the good that would do."
The armorless Stormcast hah'd. "Why do you think your going to end up as a bad dream? They're the ones who keep the worlds alive, with or without us."
She rushed Archaon into a lock and ordered. "Now, get Dorghar off of them!"
Moonfang nodded and sprinted after the multi clawing, multi biting monstrosity that took a blast of fire from a dark glowing Aqua and a double slash from two sun blowing, young men. Mickey aimed at the Everchosen "Stop!" PEW! and caused Archaon to freeze in time, for the seconds that will last.
The Disney Trio made their charge at the steed of the Apocalypse, with Mickey and Goofy ramming the daemons side and bringing it to swat at them, only to get blasted in the face by a cloudy fire spell. Mickey ordered the Wayfinders. "Now, get to Archaon."
Aqua nodded and signaled to make the charge. RUSH! Archaon broke free, kicked Ana back and wide swiped to the humans. As the Disney Trio brought Dorghar to their attention, Goofy and Donald noticed Mickey had a glow. The shield bearer asked fast. "What do we got that can help with this?" The King answered with a firm guard. "Our friends, from in that Keyblade, are giving us a hand. What's happened up there?"
Donald sighed. "A lot, Xehanort swept us down after we got Riku and Kairi out of a mess." Moonfang snorted lightning, Goofy finished. "It's going to get rough up there too." Dorghar raised his upper body, ready to smash the four into paste. Jump! The four jumped and aimed their attacks for the heads.
At the Precipice of Destiny.
The trio of islanders, shared a stare down with the man who in some way, caused a lot of the turmoils they had to experience. Xehanort took No Name and dived after them, with the twelve others lining up for a wide, vertical slash. Sora and Kairi rolled left and right from the old man as Riku back flipped. Two of the No Names leaped at the older boy as the two on the left and right swiped to flank the battle couple. Riku side stepped as Sora and Kairi were knocked to the floor, they rolled and Xehanort focused his attention to the younger boy. "Your heart is mine!"
The Darkseeker flew and let loose a combo befitting of thirteen blades, Sora parried as wide as possible as Riku speared to Xehanorts back, shoving the Dark Seeker away and giving Kairi an opening, to toss a flower of light at the danger and warping to it. The two struck Xehanort into a juggle and forced him to turn as a whirlwind of blades, Sora flipped, bonked the Dark Seeker in the head and followed with nimble blows.
Xehanort warped from the cluster and swiped his blades up. "Pathetic!" Woosh!
The Destiny Trio felt a heat coming for them and jumped away from a rising pillar, Xehanort armed the X Blade and turned it into a twister that split into three spinners. The Destiny Trio fast glided to the center as five of Xehanort's blades shined burning eyes, positioned in a pattern, like an upside down star and spun like a circle, launching fast fire balls. Sora, Kairi and Riku flew away together as Xehanort positioned the eight remaining No Names to his shoulders and dashed. Letting loose combo after combo, the Destiny Trio kept a parry together and gave a unified counter slash, sending Xehanort into a flip.
He swiped the X Blade and caused the penta pattern to spin horizontally at the three, spewing wild, homing, explosive fire balls. The Destiny Trio looked to each other in a plan and dashed in three directions as the penta pattern shot out an orb of molten rock that solidified into a miniature planet. Xehanort focused his primary blade at the orb and laughed maliciously, the planet split in half and ruptured the beams of a death throe. Two beams shot at Kairi and made her cartwheel, a smaller barrage went for Riku and made him back flip. A giant beam of molten metal blasted at Sora and forced him to jump high. Xehanort flung two No Names at the Princess, two at Sora and two at Riku.
Kairi and Sora spun a slash as Riku was seeing a blunder on his end and deflected the blades, Xehanort spotted his prey and rushed an inward x pattern slash. Riku aimed his hilt downward and clashed with the blow. He was slashed in the back by the two No Names and turned to see them ready a skewer. Kairi focused, leaped to the sky with orbs of light and had a majority of them focus on putting the planet out of its misery and the other towards scattering the extra blades.
Xehanort half turned to the charging Princess and parried with his primary blade. Riku saw a rift of light open behind him and looked onward to find Sora glowing. The spikey haired boy warped and parried the two swords, giving Riku the chance to swipe the X Blade aside and cutting into the Dark Seeker's chest. Xehanort hovered backwards and called the floating blades to the ones he has in his hands. Each one splintered to the back, one of the No Names tilted side ways and connected two more that attracted a cluster. Becoming a pair of fiery, demonic wings.
FLAP!
The Dark Seeker flapped a multitude of burning spears and comboed with fast fire balls, Riku wrapped his arms around his friends, landed and high jumped from the explosions. Kairi sprouted a set of glowing wings and dived after the Darkseeker as Riku hurled Sora like a projectile. Xehanort used his wings to block the spear dive and clashed the X Blade with Sora. Kairi flipped and enveloped herself in water as Riku rushed at the Primary No Name for a clash and used his fist to punch Xehanort.
The trick exposed the Dark Seeker to a giant rain drop, dousing the wings and giving Sora a chance to follow with a change towards the Wheel of Fate. He gave the Dark Seeker a couple smacks and raised his blade like it's a flag, "Overflow!"
Water danced around him and shot at Xehanort, Kairi turned her blade into ice claws and pounced. "HIYA!" She clawed with the water and froze off parts of the wings, chipping them into a scatter, Xehanort raise a finger upward. "Pointless!"
The chips returned to No Names, flew after the Princess and forced her to flip. They ascended upwards as Riku jumped on one of Sora's projectiles, froze it and used it as a slide, the younger boy lunged for a blade lock as the older boy got close enough to leap off and thrust into the armor. Sora ducked from the ice burg smash and saw a circle of fire beneath his feet. He flipped and watched the fire pillar erupt, Xehanort warped away and raised the X Blade to repeat the twister.
The Destiny Trio flew into the formation and saw they were face first into a forming fire mine. They conjured a reflect spell and took the blast before turning to Xehanort and finding him with his blade raised upward, conjuring a multitude of keyholes from across the sky. "You have no hope against me!" The No Names flew at the keyholes that pushed out round planetoids, sinking into them and making burning craters.
The planetoids spit out meteors that looked like baseballs from the teenagers point of view and are going to resemble miniature mountains. The Destiny Trio glided towards the other end of the arena, watched the meteors reach an impact and went under a particular one, making it to relative safety. The meteors landed and shook the arena with a force that could level a small island.
Warp!
Xehanort teleported out of a blast and unleashed a stream of No Names at Kairi, piercing her towards an edge. Sora turned the Wheel of Fate into the Highwind spear and thrust at Xehanort in a counter as Riku turned Way to Dawn into the Pendelum Axe and slashed wide. Kairi leaned backwards to watch a meteor coming for the boys and called. "Incoming!"
She spun a leap at Xehanort, to keep him occupied and let the boys get to a safe corner, she got him in a combo and finished it off with a sun beam blast. Xehanort was sent into a high spin and watched the Princess fly after him. The No Names flew out of the planetoids and went after the girl, the Dark Seeker swiped the X Blade and felt a sharp sever with in.
Tink! Kairi parried the X Blade, felt the No Names coming for her and flew off in a flip, she turned Destiny's Embrace into the Hobbist's Joy and fired a trio of heavy missiles. Xehanort slashed the three No Names at the missiles, to make them detonate mid air and side stepped from the blades flying back at him as shrapnel.
Kairi flipped a landing and swung the hammer, making another missile. Riku turned his axe back into a sword, jumped high and unleashed a Morning Divide, keeping the No Names from intercepting the missile. Xehanort took his primary blade and swiped a fire ball at the closing missile. Making an explosion that sent him flying and chipping a horn off of his helmet. Sora used the split second he had to turn the High Wind into the Storm Flag and slashed long ranged wind. Xehanort flipped a landing and readied for a lightning fast slash as Sora stepped back, turned the flag back into a Kingdom Key and reached for Riku's shoulder, he offered Kairi a hand. "We got him now!"
The Princess knew what was offered, grabbed Sora's hand and moved the arm around his shoulder, Riku wrapped an arm around Sora's and felt a strong sync making form. Flap! Two sets of giant, angelic wings sprouted to each end, one side of Sora's merged with Kairi's, as the other merged with Riku's
They flew at the Darkseeker and spun together, blowing through the No Names and rushing Xehanort in feathers of light. The Destiny Trio back flipped and scattered fond memories, one of them looked to be the Trio, reunited at home. Xehanort caught a landing and aimed the X Blade, the hilt burned in green fire and engulfed his gauntlet. He screamed out in pain and looked to it. "Even when your finally bested, you continue to defy me, Witch?"
POW!
A fist of psychic might punched the Dark Seeker in the neck armor as the hilt turned ghastly green and forced the blade to come alive, slipping from the Dark Seekers grasp and landing far behind. The Destiny Trio had their sights on the X Blade, it's the chance they needed to free their remaining friends. Riku and Kairi gave Sora the signal to make a run for it. Sora nodded and sprinted fast, Xehanort turned to see what the boy is doing and intercepted him. "I think not!"
WOOSH! SLASH! BASH!
Riku and Kairi flew to the far sides and dived at the Dark Seeker, the boy had a firm slash for the primary No Name as Kairi smashed her hammer through the replicas and turned the Hammer into a set of swords and mechanical wings. The two fought with valor and precision, keeping the Dark Seeker distracted from Sora's antics. Xehanort flung two of the replicas at the spikey haired boy in desperation. Sora rolled left and right, ever close to striking range. He raised the Kingdom Key and yelled with righteousness, smashing into the broken X Blade and reducing it to two crossed blades.
Four hearts shot out, a heart of shade, a heart of bleeding shadows, a near black heart and a dim star lit heart. What is clearly Xion and Dupmic, kept a hold on Vanitas and flew to the edge as Ken's heart flew to Sora's personal and spun around, like someone wanting to give him an embrace of gratitude.
Sora blushed and asked. "Ken, we got everything set up. Find a way to get back here with your body, if you can."
The heart noticed Riku and Kairi giving it their all, had a glare at Xehanort and darken to the night. It shot over the edge, like a comet and brought the others to follow him. The Dark Seeker watched the components fly off, yelled in rage and swiped wide, smacking Riku and Kairi away and turning to Sora. The old man had a glare for murderous intentions. "Do you have any idea what you've done to us! Without the X Blade, the Chaos gods will take Kingdom Hearts and ruin everything!"
Sora rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. We're going to be on that. Just take a loss already!" The Dark Seeker conjured another No Name for his empty hand. He flipped after the boy and had two of the replicas follow his attack, four went after a dazed Kairi and four went after Riku.
The two teenagers clashed against the blade clouds as Sora jumped back from the main lunge and rolled over a blade spin. He struck Xehanort back and followed with another, clashing against one of the No Names. Xehanort crossed his blades and slashed his left, making one of the replicas join in the attack. Sora rolled at right and saw an upward, down slash coming for him.
Roll!
Sora switched to the Favorite Deputy and struck Xehanort in the head. The Darkseeker roared, stepped back and slashed two fire waves, plus a second one, Sora high jumped, focused on the four targets and turned his blade into a drill arm and rushed into a rift of light.
WOOSH!
A light burst at Xehanort and spat out a drill punching boy. Then another, and another, and another. Riku and Kairi watched and had an idea, fighting their way back to back and spearing the blades, they vanished in a light flower. Causing multiple to sprout across the blades and spit out the teenagers, juggling the dark forces and zipping together. The Darkseeker stepped back and balked. "You're nothing but a bunch of children."
He called the No Names to his side and fired a hurricane of raw, electrical, darkness. Riku thought of a plan, stabbed the ground and created some light, Kairi and Sora felt their instincts, telling them to join in the spell. As the Darkness encroached to consume, they and the light vanished. It shined under the Dark Seeker and blasted him into a pillar. The Destiny Trio leaped out and attacked the Dark Seeker as one. Kairi took it a step further and unleashed the Power of the Princess, shoving Xehanort to the platform arena and flying to the far side.
She crackled Destiny's Embrace, spun and strung a string of lightning, making an arrow. Xehanort hovered on his feet, heard the string being let loose and moved side ways before aiming his hands and shooting out flame blasts. Flip! PEW! The teenagers dodged the blast and Kairi shot another bolt, Sora and Riku pressed their blades together and made a miniature sun before firing it.
Xehanort slashed it in half with his collection and launched two blades at the girl that strung another shot and made a run for it. The boys lunged at the Dark Seeker, clashed with his two blades and spun in sync to a multi counter attack, knocking the replicas away and slashing in an X pattern. The Dark Seeker unleashed tethers of nil energy, in point blank range and had them in a grapple. "This ends, now!" Kairi stomped the ground, surrounded herself in water and jetted at him. "For you!"
Thrust!
Destiny's Embrace pierced the back of the neck head piece, distracting the Dark Seeker for a split moment. The girl jumped and shot two stars at the boys, breaking them out of their bindings. Riku hovered backwards, turned his blade into a cross bow and fired as Sora aimed a Ragnarok. The bolts made their mark and caused the old man to give out pained noise, the beams rushed upward at his back and sent him flying up. Kairi conjured a glowing star, rotated her flowers and fired repeating bolts, the goat armor began to crack.
Xehanort heard the crack and swiped his hands inward. "Sink into Darkness!" The Destiny Trio found nothing happening, until Sora had a look to the environment, the sky became the sea and the sea had massive tidal waves. The water smacked the three together and caused everything to go black. Boys vision returned and he was finding himself quite small, he looked to Riku and Kairi. Riku having a bright yellow jacket and a long pair of black pants and Kairi having a white, one piece dress with a light purple skirt. They looked at Sora, who was in a white shirt and red pants, with horror expected from a bunch of four years olds that are stranded in the dark woods. A menacing voice, of a young man, echoed. "You're all alone, in the deepest trench imaginable."
A younger form of Xehanort, floated out of the darkness, he and his collection oversizing the three kids. Sora and Riku felt something in their hands and posed for a fight, toy wooden swords that definitely won't do anything beyond giving a measly splinter.
Kairi had even less than that and crouched behind the boys that were stepping back. Sora squeaked out. "What are we going to do?" Riku spoke in a tone of a kid who would have sounded like he had the answers, if he was as naive. "Run!"
Kairi looked around took off, trying her darnest to tap into a latent anything, Xehanort hmphed and flew at the boys that ran for their lives.
Glowing lights appeared, drawing the desperate children towards it in hope it would help them, as they got closer, the light revealed a trio of yellow eyed viper fish that lunged at them. Kairi squeaked and jumped side was as the boys rolled and swiped at the predators, they disappeared into illusions as the young Dark Seeker chanted. "Down here, the Light is no ones friend. It's just a tool these things use to get an easy meal."
He rushed at the boys and swatted them to the floor, leaving Kairi alone with the Dark Seeker that reached a hand for her throat. He hoisted her up and was slowly choking her, Sora was the first to get up, saw Kairi kicking wildly and screamed. "Kairi!"
Riku rolled on his feet and watched, he glared at the Dark Seeker, wanting to rip him a new one. "Let her go!"
WOOSH! The boys charged and a duo of red glowing No Names smacked their hilts on the back of their heads. Kairi tried calling for help and found the grip not letting her. Suddenly, something appeared on her chest, a rapidly blinking Explorer Badge. The Dark Seeker didn't notice. "I don't believe you two have a say in this anymore. By the end of this, you will welcome this kind of Darkness." A dark power course through the Princess and made her scream in pain, a darken Kingdom Hearts appeared as the Dark Seeker asked. "Now, where was I-"
Poof! Poof! Poof! Poof! At the split second of a poof, echoed. The children felt a rushing of water and an enraged, voice of a normally perky lady demanding. "Punish-" PUNCH! Xehanort was punched in the stomach and his smug attitude twisted to to shock and pain, looking eye to eye with an angry Azumarril. "ment!"
The Dark Seeker was forced to drop the girl and was sent into a flip from the impact. He gritted his teeth in agony as Kairi dropped to the ground. Azu caught her and held her firmly. "Are you okay? What's happening?"
Sora and Riku felt a healing pulse on their wounds and got up to see Shooter swimming to their side and keeping guard, Crinoid wiggled and focused a grassy terrain, setting his sights on Xehanort. "Azu's right about this guy, he's got one sicko head." Wiggling towards Kairi and Azu, was a Sea Fang that was barely controlling his anger. "Bad man! Bad man!" Azu pointed. "I'll be right behind you!"
Kairi felt it was easy to breath, hugged the Azumarril and got on her feet, giving the team leader her approval to go all out.
Xehanort found himself face to face with glowing red eyes and a mouth full of teeth, he looked like he was done with the nonsense and caused a dark mist to strip something from the team. "Fools."
Snap!
Just then, Azu's round form shrank to what looked like a tiny blue mouse, that is smaller than her tail. Azu found herself falling an inch and blinked. "Whu?" She squeaked like a toddler and looked back. Sora and Riku had a moment of shock as Shooter was turned into smaller shrimp with a puny shooting claw. He and the boys looked to Crinoid, who was turned into a small, purple sea lilly, with an exposed dark face with yellow eyes. The Clauncher bubbled. "Oh no!" Crinoid could tell by his vision. "We're going to need a plan."
He looked to the toy swords and thought of something. Sea Fang however, was too enraged to notice that he was turned back into a Carvanha and bit into one of the No Names. Xehanort flung the fish and rushed at the ladies for some payback. Kairi and Azu looked to each other and had a plan, the girl tossed Azu like she was a boulder. "Body slam him!"
The polka dot mouse flipped and used her tail to smack Xehanort in the back of the head. Sea Fang rushed to the Dark Seekers side and tackled him as an aquatic jet. Crinoid pressed his tentacles to his face and whispered. "Hey, I think I know how to make those not terrible!" Sora and Riku huhed as saw fossilized rocks floating to the swords and pressing together, compounding into smooth stones. Crinoid gave off a green glow and left the boys to imagine sea urchins.
The shore swords sprouted black spikes. Sora and Riku wowed, nodded to the sea druid in thanks and were ready to charge. The Lileep channeled green energy. "Shooter, give the other kid something that can help! Right now!" Shooter bubbled to an idea. "I think I can make that work." He used his claw to fly towards the girl that watched Azu bounce off and flung her tail at the back of the dazed Dark Seeker. Kairi wanted to do more and found Shooter coming at her. "Shooter!"
The Clauncher flew to the girls side and offered a small pincer. "I think there's something off about this, you need to close your eyes first, to see it." The girl did as instructed and touched the pincer. Xehanort found the behavior idiotic and gave off a pulse of briney water, washing Azu and Sea Fang away in a toxic shock. He rushed after the children before him and was jumped on by a screaming Sora, who swiped the shore sword at the shoulder and punctured the skin.
Riku had slightly more finesse. "Eat it!" He struck the right arm and caused Xehanort to drop the replica blade in a shock of pain.
Kairi drained out the fighting and saw, in the blackness, a white blue aura. The aura, showed an image of two armored, teenage boys, fighting against the elderly Dark Seeker. With Azu and Sea Fang laying from the spillage of toxic goop. Shooter snipped. "Just what I thought, this whole thing is an illusion!" Kairi thought in her head, hearing her more grown voice. "But how can we get rid of that?"
Shooter wondered that as well and thought of something in sync to the girl. Kairi opened her eyes and felt something floral in her hands, a collection of flowers that matched her Keyblade. Shooter opened his eyes and watched a ball of energy blast Xehanort from far away. The Clauncher swam to the fray. "Get to Crinoid, he'll know what to do with that." Kairi nodded and cast a healing spell on Azu and Sea Fang before taking off to the Lileep.
Xehanort saw the heal and swiped his collection at the boys. He tried to pursue the girl that's found something out and was shot by a beam of bubbles from Azu. "You're going nowhere!" Sea Fang agreed as his fang dripped purple. "You like that?! Then you'll like this!"
Xehanort swiped at the Carvanha that barrel rolled and bit into the wrist, the sharp burn made the Dark Seeker scream and back hand the fish. His hand was twitching in pain. Sora knew that was a poison fang taking hold and cheered. "Get him!"
Riku saw Kairi with a set of flowers and Shooter charging up an aura for a blast. The blast, caused the young Dark Seeker to blink as the Goat Knight for a split moment. Kairi reached Crinoid and whispered. "Hey, this whole thing's a dark sham." She readied the flowers and had a spunky attitude. "You're thinking what I'm thinking?"
On hearing the question, Crinoid realize what the flowers are and chuckled. "Plant them down." Kairi did so and focused her hands on them as Crinoid channeled floral power, the flowers sprang into a collection of palm trees and invited sand, one particular flower shot a star into the black sky and became a sun. Turning the ground into a sea of water and a reflection of a vision. Of a trio of teenagers, enjoying a simple life and gazing upon a morning.
FLASH! The star flashed and dispelled the dark illusions.
Bringing the teenagers, mercenaries and the grown up, back to what they were. Sora and Riku gasped, the spikey haired boy turned to the team mates and shouted. "Realities back on, mess him up!"
Shooter was on it and fired his more powerful pincher, blasting Xehanort across the arena with a water pulse and bringing him to an out maneuvering Azumarril. She bashed him in the back as Sea Fang growled deeply. (You like being a bully, don't ya!) The Sharpedo spun liquid blades and launched himself at the Dark Seeker. (I'll show you a real one!)
Xehanort grabbed Azu by the ears and thrust No Name into Sea Fangs throat. "You go against me with a savage heart like yours?" PULSE! Sea Fang was shot across and had a chain going into what he thought was his stomach. "It is but child's play, to turn that towards my ends!" A flow of Darkness went into the Sharpedo and caused Sea Fang to roar in pain. The Shark bit down, fixating his glare. (I'm... stronger! I'm... stronger!)
Sora and Riku charged to stop that and had Azu hurled at them. Crinoid cringed and glowed in preparation for a blast. Kairi was feeling Sea Fang struggling against a force that was ripping into his being. She leaped to the back of the Sharpedo, focused, closed her eyes and found herself in a cozy coastline cave. Hearing a voice growling. "I'm... stronger!"
At the end of a coast, with a couple of nick knacks, was Sea Fang, pressing his teeth against a dark hand. The girl sprouted her six wings and flew at it. "Get out of here!"
SMASH!
In one blow, the dark hand shattered and she landed on the back of Sea Fang. The Sharpedo felt he was free once more and barked. "Let's teach Bad Man a lesson!" Kairi saw her blade shine a marble and reach for it. "He's had that chance, years ago. If this is what he wants us to act, then let's show him that he's messed up!"
She raised her blade and let loose a power, she and Sea Fang flashed into reality, she felt the kind of raw power coursing into the Sharpedo and felt her mind was at a spike of limitless potential.
Xehanort was flinching from a burning back lash of light and Azu pushed the boys back. (Ho boy!) Shooter jumped back, frozen stiff and Crinoid channeled more of a cosmic power.
CRACK!
Sea Fang mega evolved and burst a wave of water, with a six winged Kairi holding onto the fin and having a just, ferocious, scowl for the Dark Seeker. Xehanort let loose the No Name collection at the two, to spear them in place. Kairi used her wings to back hand the ones above her as Sea Fang crunched through them and shattered them.
BASH!
Xehanort was shoved over the edge and warped to the center to fling chunk of a meteor. Flicker! Sea Fang and Kairi rushed into a light rift, the meteor completely missed them as a rift opened from behind the rock. Kairi dashed out in the speed of light, with her Keyblade ready to smack the Old Man. Xehanort blocked the charge. Kairi disappeared in a flicker, letting the boys see a girl that was right behind the evil doer.
The onlookers heard a tink and saw a flash, Xehanort was sent flying to the far end of the arena as a meteor of light. Right to a rift that let loose a furious Sea Fang that slashed through him and disappeared, before flickering and repeating the process.
Xehanort found himself caught in a lasso of light, realizing that Kairi wasn't going to let him off of the onslaught that easily. She slashed rapidly across each segment, each attempt Xehanort made to parry, resulted in the Prime No Name cracking. Riku was at a loss for words and looked to Sora, who was both terrified and mesmerized. Azu, feigned her innocent attitude and cheered. (Get him Kairi!) WOOSH! Sea Fang rushed from the light and crunched icy fangs into the Dark Seekers back. (Get him Sea Fang!)
The Sharpedo held Xehanort firmly as Kairi kept striking, before flashing the blade into a great sword, Sea Fang let Xehanort go just so Kairi can give a full swing. Xehanort was sent rolling in his daze and Sea Fang followed with a crunch. Puncturing the armor and thrashing, Kairi flapped as a comet of light, Sea Fang threw Xehanort upward and let the Princess deal a mega blow. Sending the foe crashing to the arena, Xehanort bounced on his feet and was panting, Crinoid took the chance to fire a blast of a meteor beam, as if to add insult to injury.
Kairi and Sea Fang flipped to the group as one and powered down. Riku had the chance to ask. "Are... you guys still there?" Sea Fang panted as Kairi regained some breath. "Y...Yeah." She phewed. "That felt good." She looked to Sora, who was tongue tied, and to the mercenaries. "Thank you, you guys are the best."
Azu waved it off as Sora looked to the mist and found Xehanort limping, his armor torn and the concerns cracks on the real No Name. The Pokemon saw themselves flickering away, Crinoid looked to the teenagers, asking if they have it under control. Sora nodded. "He's still hasn't given up, but he's lost. We'll see you back home, really soon."
The Cradily smiled and let himself disappear, Shooter snipped. (Good luck, we'll have a surprise for you when you return.) PEW!
Azu smiled wide and gave a thumbs up before vanishing. Sea Fang wanted to give the wicked old man another go and saw he was disappearing, he barked. (You're stronger! Make him stop fighting, then come back home!) Pew!
Xehanort stumbled, aimed No Name and looked like he was about to fall over. The Destiny Trio approached him as one, Xehanort clenched his free hand and spilled out a dark storm. "Not... yet. I've come too far..." Sora swiped a counter wind, pushing the storm away, Riku slide with a wave of sand as Kairi jetted with glittering water. Xehanort swiped No Name at the combined force and shoved them back, only for Sora to blind side him and send him rolling.
The boy and the Kingdom Key glimmered across the darkness and followed with a collision, No Name cracked even more. Riku rushed to a blind side and let loose a vicious combo, bringing Xehanort to try and parry, Kairi used the last of her step to join in the attack. With Sora realizing how tired out Xehanort is. He joined in with the blows, to where the Dark Seeker couldn't fight back anymore.
The teenagers shoved him closer and closer to the edge, Xehanort aimed his hand and gave one last dark blast. The Destiny Trio protected each other, were pushed back and stood as one, a crown shined at their feet and they aimed their blades. Riku glowed in yellow, Kairi glowed in blue and Sora glowed in red. Xehanort raised No Name to his face, not about to face the end just yet.
Something scratched in the back of his mind. "Do you need some help?" Xehanort's froze in shock at the voice in his mind, the Destiny Trio didn't notice and had a blast ready for him. "No...no." The voice laughed to his dismay and whispered a mocking, fatherly tone. "A shame you think this would be difficult."
The Destiny Trio fired a trinity limit at Xehanort and engulfed him in light, it was then that something felt off. The body completely engulfed in darkness and let loose a storm of chaos, Xehanort wailed. "NOOOOOOOO!" CRACK! "AAAAAAAAAARGH!"
He screamed louder than an elder his age should have screamed and pushed the light back, every part of his armor became engulfed in darkness. With his neck armor, swallowing his head in blackness. His back sprouted a set of leathery, demonic wings and a tail of a spike bone pushed from his spine.
No Name was swallowed by the shadows and enveloped into a dark blue cloud as the screaming smothered into a deep laughter. The goat helmet sparked yellow eyes. With the entertainment over, the clouds of Chaos made their way for Kingdom Hearts. The teenagers had a cold chill as the arena changed to a burning orange, eight pointed star. The Old Man laughed in a tone that is far from the Dark Seeker they known. "Hahahahaha! At long last, god hood is mine!"
The teenagers know who's voice that is.
"Be'lakor!"
The Be'lakor aimed No Name at Kingdom Hearts and unleashed eight dark chains, strangling it in his grasp and away from the four hands that tried to take it for themselves. "With this power, I will finally usurp the gods and rule over existence, in a Realm of Eternal Darkness. No one with in the corners of the universe. Not Sigmar, not that Corpse on a Throne and not even that Bastard Offspring of mine will rip this from me now."
Sora's fired a blast of light at the Daemon. "Like we're going to let that happen!" PEW! BLAST! Kingdom Hearts, screamed out a chaotic force that deflected the light. Be'lakor turned to the three. "You truly believe that you still have hope?"
The Daemon raised his hands and drained out the Darkness from the moon. "My "masters" have driven this man's ambitions to the breaking point. With his Heart and Blade, I will draw upon the power he's only ever dreamed of reaching." He laughed and raised his hand at the trio. "He sought the answers of the Darkness and thought he became a Master. Only to become another of slave."
Riku sighed bitterly. "Yeah, hilarious. We're going to end you, take Kingdom Hearts back and go back home." Be'lakor snarled. "You think to end me?" Warp! He warped to their personal space. "I'm going to keep you alive long enough, to watch me pick apart every last heart in this miserable realm!"
He slashed the Shadow Sword at the trio, Kairi struck the sword and only slowed it down for a moment before she and the boys were flung across. Warp! STOMP!
Be'lakor stomped upon the Princess and let loose tendrils that snared the boys and yank them towards the sword. SLASH! He slashed them a great distance and kicked Kairi towards them as an insult to their injury. "You will be begging me to end it and I will only laugh"
Sora and Riku were feeling a flash of red, Kairi struggled to get up and shined sunlight. The trio kept side to side, refusing to give up.
At the Battlefield.
Hater was shoved to the ground by a mighty axe and used his vast power to push it back to the Bloothirster, giving a knocked over Lion the chance to charge back into the fight. The Super Villain pressed his hands together and boast. "Is that all you got punk!"
ZZZBLAST! He let loose an electrical blast that pierced the Daemons hide and made him roar. The daemon cracked a whip, flung the Lion aside and made Hater side step. The Super Villain shot to the Daemon's right and punched deeply. Slash! "Come on, dude you can do it!" The voice of an eager boy caught Hater's ears.
BLAST!
A pack of Chaos Warriors were sent flying away from an explosion, a blocky tank, shaped like a skull, drove into battle. Ridding on top of it was a proud Peepers with a raised flag. "Alright boys, let him have it."
The Skull Tank flashed menacing, sharp teeth, a red shade of sunglasses and three giant cannons. It blasted a trio of beams at the Daemon that was less than amused. It turned to the tank and stomped his way towards it, Hater didn't like being ignored, flew in the way to keep it busy and yelled at his minions. "Peepers, what took you so long?"
The Commander folded his arms and had the tank drive to the side. "Sir, if I may. You're the one who flew off over these blood wackos and the rest of us had to think of a quick way to get over here." He introduced. "Say hello to our plan for galactic conquest! We can make anything out of these gummi blocks, including a Skull Ship!" Hater's mood turned to a resolve. "A new Skull Ship?"
CRACKLE! He sent the Bloodthirster flying a couple feet. "Awesome!" He built up the force of a mighty storm. "You hear that, monster! We got a whole Galaxy to conquer, now-" Flash! "get-" blast! "outta here!"
With sheer will, Hater blasted a whole through the Bloodthirster, it was still standing, but it wasn't happy. Just then, a perky band of seven, ghostly keybearers forced their way through a daemon wall. The boyish voice, coming from a figure with a spectral scarf around his neck, was more than impressed. "Never thought I say this, but cool dream dude."
He and his band of mates aimed their Starlights and fired projectiles that annoyed the daemon, they followed with a unified key spin and leaped at the the daemon, getting some good cuts in. The Daemon swiped his axe without a hint of a warning and the seven jumped a mighty leap. "For Lady Suiten!"
Slash!
At most, these seven were distracting the Bloodthirster, Hater kept to the ground and launched himself like an upward lightning bolt. With one fist, he gave the Daemon an upper cut and made it stagger, away from a band of forces that were ambushed by a volcanic eruption. Charging out was a volcanic avatar of Began. "For Grimnir!"
He raised his latchkey blade and sank it into the Daemons neck, the Daemon cleaved through the Keyblade pack, Hater and Began. Hater flipped onto the Skull Tank and Peepers pressed a button, shooting a spring where his boss landed and sending him high into the sky.
The seven Keybearers split apart and fired chains of light at the Bloodthirster, keeping it place for the second. The Lion grappled the Daemon as Began locked his axe to the Daemons and blew sulfur at the daemon as an act of spite. The Daemon turned to Hater, who was having red in his green eyes and breathed out a brimstone blast.
Hater pressed his hands together to shield himself from the blast. He yelled out like a valorous buffoon and collided with the daemons skull. That one blow, caused the daemon to fall down in a thud and into a throe that didn't hit anyone, it laid in a pool of it's own blood and melted. With that, Hater cheered in triumph and shot lightning at the daemons that felt their master fall. "Now beat it!"
ZAP!
He laughed wickedly, not aware that the blood rift was expanding even more. It howled for more blood and caused the earth to split into crimson. The ghost stepped back in terror. "Guys, why isn't this working?!" Hater half turned to his head to the spilling of molten blood as Began peered into a Brass Citadel. A roar echoed. "Be'lakor will pay for his betrayal! Flood the land, drown the defenders in their own blood and storm the city!"
The combined armies wiped out the daemonic forces and took that as a que to make a run for it. Escaping a rift that spewed in a flood of burning blood and let loose an endless wave of Khornate Daemons that were catching up. As the defenders were realizing their doom, something crashed from the sky, a mountain sized comet of metal. A light bound titan, glimmered armor of red, with details of gold. The squad leader key ghost had a vision of a cybernetic man, sitting on a throne and having the back of his head linked to the machine.
Magitinus was almost to the brink of tears. "Chaos breach, imminent. Commencing, Operation: Final Bastion." He aimed a long cannon at the daemons and fired rounds that shook the earth. "We will move the sky and crush the enemies to all, beneath our heel! We are the stars that descending, in the worlds dark hour!" He shot his shoulder mounted cannons upon the daemons. "May the righteous, prevail!" It fired more missiles, the ghost shook out of his vision and almost broke down to a typical child at the Titan of the Apocalypse and scampered.
The Watchdogs, piloting the Skull Tank, stepped on the peddle as Hater realize he was at a limit and ran with their allied war tanks. Then came stars in the sky, heralding a flock of ships that were seeing the daemonic outbreak and firing. Beau took a seat on one of the immolator tanks and was quite overwhelmed. "This is the world our Lady spoke of?"
Peepers over heard and answered. "Give her some credit for lasting in that mad house." The cleric felt an odd humor and laughed.
At the Slaaneshi Ambush.
The combined forces of Dragon Hackah and Dyrnannon were in a vicious scissor lock against the forces of Slaanesh. The Mega Bosses brute strength, the Prophets wildness, the Akhelain King's finesse and the Sea Aspects vast power, was just enough to keep the Keeper of Secrets away from their rank and file forces. Gilgamesh spun his spears and sliced the daemonette horde in a whirlwind as the Keeper of Secrets danced with her claws and tore chunks of flesh from the mortal bound steeds. "Howl, bleed. Your entrails will adorn this land."
Gilgamesh grumbled. "If I have to hear your dirty talk, one more time." He jumped at the daemon at the first chance he got and speared hir in the shoulders, the Daemon high jumped and cleaved hir swords into the warrior that doesn't fear it. Gilgamesh took the pain, dropped his spears and switched to a collection of swords. A dark red sword with a black wing for a hilt, a black bladed sword with a horned hilt, a cleaver and a blue bladed sword. "Huyah!"
He started with the blue sword, doing what is barely a grots worth of damage, the Daemon laughed in mockery and didn't notice that Gilgamesh had the blade pressed against hir own sword. The Warrior slashed his cleaver blade on the approaching talons and used the blades of holy and dark to slice into the daemons neck. The Daemon backed away and regenerated from the cut with tension. "Insolent little."
"Bouncah!"
SMACK!
A big moon squig leaped at the daemon and smacked her straight in the shoulder, bitting on an upper claw as his master was flipping and aiming the Crooked Moon.
The daemon watched the image of a deranged, goblinoid moon snort out spores, covering the daemon in a whole lot of fungus and making hir itch like mad. The grot landed on the back of a dully surprised deepmare and leaped to cleave the Crooked Moon into the daemons skull. The daemon gave the Grot a glare, stuck out her long tongue and wrapped it around the Grot and extended hir jaw. The crazed Grot's beady eyes widen as the fiend swallowed him whole. Dyrnannon mentally counted down as Dragon Hackah grumbled. "Crazy Grot."
Gilgamesh flipped and slashed at the daemons stomach. "You better spit him out if you know what's good for ya!" The Daemon lunged and pierced Gilgamesh down with hir claws. "That Goblin Appetizer is a fool if he thinks he can defeat me, I will feast upon you all when this night is ov-" S/he barfed out a cloud of fungus and began to choke, it grabbed to hir stomach, gagging in pain. A pick of yellow pierced from the belly and slashed through, spilling a stomachs worth of souls and letting out a bile covered Grot that rolled out.
Moon Bouncah dropped to catch his master, that shrieked. "Don't ya know not to eat a bad mushroom! Ya's get really siiiiick!" He aimed and fired a quadrant of green light. Each one causing the Daemon to break down into chaos, until s/he finally collapsed. The Daemon horde was refusing to break down though, one of the fiends shrieked. "Impossible, our master would fall to this lowly thing?"
The Mysterious Prophet and Beast Chompah unleashed their combined power, to conjure a Gargant that began to stomp upon them. The Sea Aspect whispered an answered in a sneer. "Apparently." He spun a whirlpool that consumed the daemonic horde and notice the rift opening wider. Revealing the insides of a palace of flesh and a shrill that made even the harden Orruks shake in fear. "That meddlesome Darkling thinks to steal what belongs to me! Rend these pests and be at the City of New Beginnings."
At the command, a stream of daemonettes sprinted from the darkness, ready to rend their prey. Flink!
At the sudden, a strange, alien tongue, screamed a battle cry, a pack of short, fair looking, specters pounced on the daemons and began to fight heartily. Giving the united forces a moment to fall back, more and more daemons kept forcing themselves across and were blasted by the support of the Black Pearl, newly arrived Gummi ships and half of the Kharadron armada.
Gilgamesh panted. "We still got our work cut out for us gentlemen." That was agreed upon, Dragon Hackah readied to say something as a multitude of rainbows launched from the center of the battlefield and lent a hand in wiping out the growing horde. The Orruk uhhed. "We'z no quitters! So let's bring it on!" He and Dark Smasher rushed at a seeker horde, to initiated another round of combat.
In the Tzeentchian Storm.
Arreia, Loru, Genie and Herc looked to the Lord of Change and the rain of flamers that came flying down. The entity aimed his staff at the Stormcast forces and laughed. "Burn to the winds of fate!" The staff glowed, even as comets made their mark, the Daemon stepped out of the way of one particular as an army of golden armored Stormcasts, those of bows, gryph chargers, more bowmen, ballistas and generally, reinforcements that can shoot the spell flingers.
The Daemon raised his talon. "Look at this, artillery that is perfectly aligned to a cataclysm? Thank you for the souls, foolish God King." Loru, given his height, saw the back comet springing a set of giant, radiant wings. Revealing an armored warrior, with a cloak of a cosmic swirl, a long red cape, a black glowing scepter in the left hand and a blessed Warhammer in the right. Loru recognized the form anywhere, especially the halo. "Sigmar's been watching us and he's answered our prayers." He raise his storm hammer high and rallied to the Hollowed Knights. "Sigmar has answered us! The Celestant Prime has come!"
That name, bright terror in the Lord of Change, it turned it's head at the winged warrior that wasted little time aiming the scepter to the heavens. Arreia looked to the Genie and the Olympian. "This would mean that we have a chance in containing this!"
She pointed to the outbreak of daemons. Genie cringed to the ensuing battle. "I hate to be the Bird Brain over there." Herc spotted the Celestant Prime and begun to check him out, whistling at the relieved burden and spotting a giant tentacle monster, mutating the Stormcast Forces and spreading corruption across the land. He dashed after the beast and Genie followed.
Arreia sighed and had her steed carry her to a flank of screamers and a chariot. As the Lord of Change gotten over his fear, the sky shined in stars. A stellar of comets, struck the armies of Change. The Daemon aimed his scepter at the forces of the Stormcasts, blasting one squad in a volcanic cataclysm as a comet hit his wings. He cawed and charged against the Celestant Prime, that charged back. He smashed his staff on the Celestant Prime and was pushed back by the wings, he readied a claw and was bitten on by Nightscale.
The daemon directed his attacks on the Drake and his rider, the drake took the claw as Loru used his stormshield to soak the blow and blast the Daemon. Giving the Celestant Prime the opening he needed to smack the blessed Hammer four times and delivering three intense blows. The Daemon phased through two of them and was smacked by Loru's thunder hammer, the thunderous blows gave a concussion and the mighty claws of the Stardrake tore chunks of flesh. The Daemon took off in flight, blessed his minions with infernal power and fired a bolt at Loru before waving his staff around in spite. Only one eruption happened yet again and engulfed the ballista line, something of light shined upon the artillery line and protected them from the fire. Allowing them to thin out the tide of daemons.
The Celestant Prime bolted after the Daemon, spun a barrage of comets and connected the blows needed. Nightscale flapped a cloud of comets and joined in for a tail smack. He gave the daemon a double clawing and let his rider strike again, it phased through the entity that wasn't getting much of a break. Then came a blinding light that brought attention to the Stormcast, the light shined from a strange halo like symbol and materialized a figure, indescribable. Same for a set of green eyes, red irises and green cheeks. "You're kind has invoked another misery, daemon!" The eyes and cheeks turned red, the iris turned greyish black and the halo turned black, with glows of red. "Prepare to face Justice!"
A light condensed into a black orb, with projectiles of dark red, it spewed out a multitude of dreadful bolts that spread across the daemonic horde and pierced the Daemons being. Sending it falling to the ground and to the mercy of an intercepting comet.
SLASH!
The comet slashed into the Daemons throat and spun, revealing an astral glowing, orange haired woman with a Keyblade of Starlight. "It's time you all beat it monsters!"
The Daemon flipped to his feet and balked. "Foolish girl! So long as the essence of Chaos, lurks in your hearts, we will always return, in one form or another." The Entity landed a gentle tap and calmed his mind. "Chaos is in all things, but the mortals can make themselves better." The Daemon looked to the five and waved his staff. "Not so long as one amongst you, continues to follow our ways."
Cataclysmic quakes erupted under the group and blasted them in the sheer power. The Celestant Prime smacked the fire with the Warhammer as Loru protected Nightscale with a counter storm, the Star Sage wasn't quite fortunate and the Entity simply absorb the blast. The girl was sent rolling and waved her staff to the sky, conjuring a multitude of star swords that made their mark into the Daemon. The Entity radiated, beckoning his dreadful power and letting loose a celestial cry.
A Dark Judgement, sang to the Entity's will, bringing about a cluster of letters and eyes that let loose a hidden wave of power.
The Lord of Change shrieked, deflected the waves and raise his hand to halt the barrage. Once a blast made contact, they all made contact. The Lord of Change was sent falling to the ground and was finished off by a rain of stars. The Entity looked to the Rift of Tzeentch. "We need to close these. Fast!"
Then, echoed laughter. "Everything is as planned, no matter what our Puppet Prince thinks, the Universe will undergo Change this night."
Reality sucked into the rift and breathed out a hurricane of flames, teeth, fins and tentacles. The Star Sage and the Alpha stood side by side and focused a primordial light upon the Chaos. The Chaos, spilled over into a flock of horrors, screamers and the like. Loru and Nightscale flew over the horde and focused a storm upon them. "There's so many! We need this to end!"
The Celestant Prime looked to Loru and nodded in agreement, before flying to his side, taking the Warhammer, giving a light spin of a nebula and tossing it towards a City breaking down in Chaos. Loru opened his mouth at the action and hid a wide smile, before letting the Prime fly up to the heavens and in conjuration to a distant power, poured an endless rain of stars.
In the Rotted forest.
The line of Exorcist Tanks were getting overwhelmed by the horde of Plaguebearers, rusting them to near scrap. Exrirsa had the luxury of listening to her tank commander, Brifa. Yelling as he pressed every button imaginable and fired everything at the approaching, Great Unclean One. "Nothing we're throwing at him is doing enough. My Lady, hit him with the-" SMASH! The Daemon of Nurgle used his rusted sword to cleave the primary tank in two and caused it to explode. The Seraphon allies were at the end of their rope, as more and more daemons wormed their way at their front line Saurus Warriors and tearing down the Stegodons.
Exrirsa glared at the daemon, looked to Aster' Los and barked. "Have your forces fall back! This Daemon will be sent back to his Master, in flames!" Aster' Los and Woodmaw looked up, saw the Adeptas Sororitas rush at the jolly daemon and relayed the words to Quetarsa.
The Slann replied back. "Retreat! This is certain, to quell the daemons."
The lizardmen took off as the Kharadron Armada kept firing at the blight drones, acting more precise than expected and showing a astra glowing Navigator fired a flare pistol at a giant tide of Nurgle Spawn.
A Khemist, guiding a squadron of Skywardens, tossed a bottle of glowing purple power. It cracked in the nurgle tide and erupted as a giant purple sun. Crystalizing the Spawn and making them easier to obliterate. Exrirsa parried the Great Unclean One and cut into it's blubber, leaving a burning mark that made the daemon howl. "RWRWRWRAR!"
STOMP!
He stepped back and drolled. "Your hollow faith has gone on long enough." He wiggled his exposed stomach. "Return back to nothing!" Razor fanged, worm like intestines shot at the Sister of Battle and impaled her. They pulled her to the stomach and she had a fierce smile towards a plan. "Faith, is bound to belief. The Emperor smiles upon me and those who battle against you. The worlds will gaze upon the light, this ho-" SWALLOW! She was shoved into the stomach, with the Daemon chuckling an extinguished. "Your lot always talks too much."
He kept a chuckle and felt warm inside, that warmth was feeling like an oven of microwaves, if they went completely haywire. It was at that moment, the Daemon knew, he messed up. BURWRRRR. The mountain flesh erupted into a pillar of fire, creating a crater. The Nurgle forces, felt the heat and turned, seeing a wave of fire engulf them. The Kharadron pilots were set into a panic and a ghost, ridding upon it complained. "This isn't what we signed up fo-" An aura of starlight surrounded the fleet and made the flames push around them.
Trauma aside, the mercenaries realize they're safe from the holy wrath. The Khemist turned to the Navigator ghost and asked. "I be lying if I say this wasn't expected, Mr. Halvek." Halvek gruffled. "I figured our back lines are watching over us. Be ready for any more surprises from the Chaos."
In the center of the battlefield.
Yen Sid and Quetarsa focused a massive spell of protective, cosmic light as the explosion went off. Kermit and his jolly band halted their music play at the rather horrific sight of the mushroom cloud, the fire and earth turning inside out. For the protectors of the worlds, they were simply engulfed in flames, for the Forces of Chaos, be it daemons or the remaining mortals that cast their lot with the darkness, they were sent flying in the explosions.
In a few seconds, the fire died down, what ever was left of the Graveyard is wiped clean, just simple earth and flames, licking the scraps of armor. The four Chaos rifts remained, pausing in their shock and giving the Forces of Light a moment to regroup. Medy sat down and looked on at where the explosion came from. "That crazy bitch was holding that back the whole time?"
Kermit looked to the young man, pressing his lips in an attempt to say something and couldn't think of the words. The three pillars of light radiated a beacon as the wizard asked. "Resira has spent nearly a life time, under warfare. Would her other half, reflect this as well?" Minnie didn't want to admit to a yes and notice the four warp rifts expanding wider. The Rift of Plague croaked. "This world has stagnated for far to long. Swarm these sad children and deliver punishment to Be'lakor."
An even greater pack of daemons came swarming. The Gang, the band of Super Heroes and the Committee made their retreat, each one being horrified by the blast and more so the daemons that just keep coming. The Queen looked up to the sky and gasped, covering her mouth and twitching her eyes. The Commanders were the next to see a despairing sign in the sky. The radiant light of Kingdom Hearts, is engulfed in a fiery, Eight Pointed Star. The Chaos, is about to consume the heart of reality and end their play.
The others looked up and Leon was about to drop his blade. "There's no way those kids have lost!" He turned to the commanders in desperation. "What are going to do?"
Quetarsta pressed his hands together and glowed his eyes. "We must keep the attention of these daemons, less they spread across the cosmos." He floated to a center and raised his hands to the air. "The winds of magic are born from the same air as Chaos. They hold the answer." Yen Sid and Minnie were caught in a trance and gathered side by side, to a forming circle. Lea approached in that trance. "The Winds of What?"
Ienzo recalled. "The Magic that made up the Realms. The Astral, Light, Fire, Metal, Beasts, Life, Death and Shadow." He snapped his fingers as Even saw a pack of daemons moving around the rift blockade. The cryomatic scientist cringed and raised his shield. "And what are we going to do with that?"
Ienzo looked to his older brother. "In the report of the End Times, a band of Incarnates tried this method to contain Chaos Rifts like this one. But they failed because they couldn't keep their troops in line and were back stabbed by a selfish man." He looked around as a typical, smug youngster. "I don't happen to see anyone who would want to sink the knife in us right at this moment. So it could work."
Tron approached the forming circle as Stitch giggled. "We magic!" The android theorized. "Or we embody the elements. My body is made of machines and those are metals." Ienzo nodded to that. "Stitch is something of an animal. While the some of us use the elements frequently enough."
Aerith nodded and joined in the circle. "If it's strong enough, we can keep these monsters put for a little longer." Lauriam's eyes had a bit of a shine and he joined the circle, giving off a faint purple. "The World that Was, didn't have a true unity and that was why it perished. But we're lacking one other force, a force we've been shunning since the beginning of time."
Yen Sid chuckled. "That it might be, but if there was only Light, there would have been no balance if the Shadows do not keep it in check." He looked to someone, crawling out of the Steam Tank. "Isn't that right, Captain Pete?"
Most of the group huhed and looked to the tank, finding the villain who has played a part on the worlds turmoils, sheepishly getting out. He folded his arms. "Now, see here. I didn't come here because of some high calling mumbo jumbo. I came so these freakos would get on outta here." He jumped down, regardless and Hiro eyed a definite villain who knew annihilation was in the horizon. "Sure you did."
Stitch snicked. "Shadow!" He blabbered an alien language that Pete had an understanding and laughed back. "Oh don't you worry, as soon as this is over, we're going back to the same old same old."
Aerith and Minnie sighed to a lost cause. The Queen looked at the bright side. "Well, at least we know we can trust you right now." The Slann agreed to that and ordered the rest. "Go into formation, this will bring about the attention of Chaos, the longer it is cast." The forces of Light did so and Pete asked. "So what are we suppose to do, use that heart talk to give you the magic you need?"
Quetarsta closed his eyes and pressed his hands together, the question was accurate. "Focus your hearts as I will mine. Together, we will awaken the Qhaysh. The power of High Magic." This was the first time Yen Sid heard of it. "A magic that is in harmony to one another?"
He aimed his hand to the Slann and begun channeling stars, Minnie put her hands to her chest and channeled light. The others mimicked the formation. As Yen Sid channeled the cosmos, Minnie radiated like a star. Lea burst into a red fire. Tron glimmered in gold as his fingers peeled to reveal parts of a machine. Stitch shined in primal amber and went into a howling fit. Aerith glowed in floral, blossoming green, Lauriam channeled the purple wind of dying flowers and Pete surrounded himself in black shadow.
Each of the eight fed the elements to the Slann, who compressed it all together into a heart of brillaint colors. He lift the heart to the air and had it let loose a multitude of color at the spreading rifts. They halted their expansion and the coming daemons were sent into a frenzy. Directing all their attention to the ritual.
Ienzo was amazed. "It worked." He pointed to Isa, Cloud, Elrena, the Farron Sisters and Big Hero Six. "All of you, stay here and make sure none of these demons jump on our beacon. This is it."
The selected look to each other and made their stand as the rest lined up in formation. Dorlu had four cards in hand and tossed them across the field, bringing about eighty one land mines. "Our last gambit to make a victory matter?" He closed his eyes. "It's been an honor, gentlemen." Even wasn't to keen on dying and spun a finger to form up a blizzard. "Just because that lunatic is finally gone, doesn't mean we should slack off."
Ienzo agreed on that and opened his book, having Wandas men line up in formation. "If we've been holding back, then now's a time to let loose." He spotted a page with the image of a strange cactus man. "Ah, here we go!" He focused the spell and a rift of light appeared on the far end. A trio of imperial tanks rolled into battle and fired at the daemons, with a figure of wings flying to where Exrirsa activated her bomb.
The foot soldiers looked to Ienzo, not expecting that he would do that. Then, come the giant cactus man, in a still, side ways pose. Every possible reinforcement that was summoned, every soldier that's making their ground, clash against the raw Chaos that spilled upon the ancient site of War. In that hour, the Worlds held their breath.
In the streets of the City.
Shadey, the Body and their wards were making their way to the sight of a Fountain and were caught in an ambush by skeletal, horned, robbed heartless that wielded staffs of bells, giving praise to an silver armored warrior with skull shoulder pads and a mighty glaive. The Disciples chanted something as the Eternal Vanguard made it's charge. The Body fired at the Heartless, only for the shot to phase through it. Shadey leaped at the Disciples and unleashed his dreadful power, deciding to contend with the figures that danced in blasphemous praise, distorting into crazed figures that slashed blades at. The Body leaped from the glaive slash, stood on the remains of a post and jumped to the warriors back, bonking it in the back with the bat. The blunt weapon phased through it and the Eternal Vanguard turned with the blink of a shadow.
BONK!
Rapunzel had better luck hitting the fiend in the back of the head with a frying pan as Belle and Jasmine worked together to conjure a hot sandy wind, burying the Disciples and giving Shadey the freedom to pounce on the Vanguard and rip into its armor. The Body jumped on the Vanguard and struck again, being more successful in making contact. It wasn't long until the threat was removed. The Body kept guard and looked at the Fountain with indifference. "Where the heck is the door to that Tower?"
Tiana was feeling equally annoyed. "No one here is going to help, that's for sure. Is there anything you remember that might be a clue?" The Body shook his head. "I remember making a stair way, up to the place and then something sinking into my back. That was after Aqua helped us kick the Master Mind out of my heart and we blasted their toady into nothing."
Shadey clearly knows more and as he growled, he saw four hearts descending from the tower and catching the Body in sight with the Princesses. One in particular, accelerated like a comet. Rapunzel noticed and was wide eyed in curiosity. "Are those things yours?"
The Body blinked and looked to the direction of the hearts, becoming just as wide eyed and is drawn to the comet on instinct. Before he knew it, the Comet collided with his chest and he found himself knocked on the ground. Pinned by an x cross union of two keyblades, Cadias Light and Night Sky. He looked into the lively eyes of an identical other, that was ready to fight. The Body freaked out and kicked. "Hey, get out of my body!"
He swung the bat and knocked the other across. "I'm not having this happen again!" The other rolled, really surprised and begun to figure something out. He dismissed the blades and offered a hand. "Hold it! I thought you were something using my body." He took a deep breath and flickered to the form of a heart. Bringing the Body towards lowering his guard, a strange feeling came, one of urgency, fear for another and a devotion. The feelings, became an excitement, the Heart felt an answer is needed. "I guess this happened because I wasn't going to go down without a fight. Sometimes a Body without a heart can do that and become their own."
It returned to the lively form, having a lot of regrets on what he has to do. The Body smirked and asked. "So I'm just a bunch a left overs and your taking them back?" The Heart nodded. "I have to, or everything is going to be lost. But this doesn't have to be a bad thing, some of my friends have this done to them too."
The two were in a quiet town under the stars, a bench awaited the two. The Body put the clues together and snapped his fingers. "Darn it, I'm No Body this whole time?" He raised his hands in a surrender as the Heart offered to give him a seat. "You might be, but you did us all a huge favor by rescuing the ladies and saving us time. Those things matter a lot. So," His face smirked to some mischief. "Do you want to ruin someones life's work and wreck something ancient?"
The No Body laughed, imagining Xehanort screaming in despair over a master plan going down a toilet. "Do I? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" He admitted defeat. "Let me in on some of that and you'll have no more problems from me!" The Heart wrapped an arm around the No Body, sealing a deal. "I think I can do that."
The two closed their eyes and found they were back to a Fountain with an Apocalyptic reflection. Ken regained control and swiped out Night Sky, he rallied to Shadey and the three hearts. "Everyone, climb aboard! Let's give these monsters what's coming to them!"
The black heart didn't hesitate to jump in, having a psychotic glee towards revenge. The dripping and shrouded heart danced around Shadey, curious about his form. The fox broke down into darkness and revealed the piecing together fragments of a heart, the trio reunited with Night Sky and caused it to envelop in a stellar power.
The onlooking Princesses were confused by the lively behavior and watched Ken turn to them with the brown eyes and a healthy skin tone. He waved to Elsa and Anna in particular. "That is going to need some explaining and we don't got the time."
He looked up to the sky to find Kingdom Hearts being assaulted by a dreadful power and glowing in the aura of the Eight Pointed Star, his cheer turned to a great horror. "...Okay, we really don't got the time. We got to get that stuff away from the Moon, stat!" Anna looked up was speechless by the looming doom and Belle started to gather a circle. "So it's going to be up to us to buy you and the Guardians the time you need?" Jasmine took to the circle. "How are we going to do that?"
Ken guessed. "Using the power of the Light in your hearts to do something." Belle nodded. "If we make a light that would reach to there, it will give the Moon a boost." Anna and Elsa knew where that is going to go, the younger sister wondered. "And if someone can use a Light spell, we can reflect Ken back up there?" Elsa giggled. "You girls are geniuses." Ken agreed with that. "I think I can do that with some shadows."
Rapunzel took a stand with her fellow Maidens and channeled with some joy, having a more dedicated chant that sparked a sunflower of light that broke apart the statue. Tiana looked to Ken with confidence. "Once you see it, get back up there and give ol' Tall, Dark and Ugly a talking to." Ken saluted as the last of the Maidens readied the spell, turning the sunflower into a solar beacon. PUFF!
As the hope sprang, more dangers loomed from the shadows. Disciples and Vanguard marched to the ladies, wanting to halt the ritual that will save all. Ken readied to fight and Night Sky went black, ripples of violent energy opened up to unleash hulking boarmen, with crude choppas, a giant mechanical walker with four pincer claws and boarmen with giant patchwork guns. The Brutish Hooligans didn't waste a moment going after the Heartless as Ken realize who sent those. The boy wondered if the fourth heart in the blade, was truly doing this to spite someone and watched the sun shine a pillar of a ray, one heading straight towards the Kingdom in Peril. Elsa gave a glance to the boy. "We got it open, go!" Ken saluted the Queen and jumped in, blending to the light as a shadow and slithering up to the Precipice of Destiny.
At the Ruined Port.
Swipe! Tink! Tink! KICK! Archaon clashed with the ever annoying Wayfinders, for each blow they dealt, the Everchosen was quick to parry. He kicked Terra back and gave Aqua and Ven two mighty blows. He raised his sword and splinter the earth in an Eight Pointed pattern, sending the dazed Terra flying and leaping to give him a flurry. Ana leaped back at Archaon and knocked him to the side, giving Ven the chance to cast a heal. Terra flipped his blade and howled before charging for a triple slash. The first slash bounced from the ancient armor, the other two connected, the Everchosen slashed, watched Terra step back for a dodge and thrust for an impale.
The man of the trio conjured his shield and pushed the sword side ways. Archaon swiped Terra away and followed with a cluster of stones for Ven and Aqua, he sprinted after the boy and blinked for his next blow.
BLAST!
Ana shot out a blast of lightning to stun the Everchosen for a moment, buying Ven time to harness the power of a good willed filling and deliver a simple, swift slash. The Everchosen warped to reach high in the air and boast. "Burn along with the Realm!" CRASH! BOOM!
Volcanic fire broke from the ground and spread lava in an eight pointed pattern, forcing the band to split apart. Aqua turned to focus on any movement and as her eyes were at the direction, Archaon came running for her.
She focused, regardless and felt a growling in her heart. SLASH! She swiped a wave of black fire at the Everchosen and vanished from the bite of the Kingslayer.
RUSH!
Archaon was slashed through by a blade of the shadows and had a glimpse of a wolf of cinders. He turned right to catch the wolf in her attack, revealing an Aqua, who is shrouded in dim fire. She tried flipping in a puff of smoke and was tackled, leaving her exposed to a triple slash. Aqua cartwheeled backwards and fired a point blank black orb that shoved Archaon an inch. A whisper breathed into the Keyblade Masters ear. "You're slipping if you're resorting to using that."
Aqua laughed bitterly to the source. "Four Souls have given us the essence of their power. Three were of the Sun and one was of the dim Dark, the moment the flame goes out and the moment the Sun sets. Benedict has gone to places." She flipped her two blades, Stormfall thinned out into a short sword as Firekeepers Wish became a small dragon head. Archaon didn't need the foresight to know that the short sword held a surprise and cast a spell that threw Aqua off balance, her armor and weapons were heavier than she was use to.
Archaon readied to deal the fatal blow as Ana yelled. "Oh no your not!" Bonk! She struck Archaon off and gave the team mates time to pass a heal. Aqua struggled to regain balance as Ana balked. "All the lads need to do, is reach for the Moon and you'll no longer be their ordeal. What can you do, trapped here with us?"
She moved through two of the sword blows as Archaon vowed. "I'll kill my way back there," SLASH!
He cleaved through Ana and made her collapse, with her eyes rolled. Aqua's eyes raised and she glared at Archaon before using the dragon shield to blast a fire beam. She howled as she followed with the short sword slash. Archaon's back was at a pillar and he side stepped, he spun the Slayer of Kings and sank it into Aqua's spine, slamming her to the structure and making her slide down limp. Ven and Terra froze, disregarded a plan and charged. "Aqua!"
Archaon glared at the two and unleashed dark bindings on Ven, leaving Terra alone to face the Everchosen. He too, felt the bite of the blade and felt bleeding going down his chest. Archaon cursed him and sent him collapsing in agony. Leaving Ven all alone and scared like a helpless child. "Not... yet." He warped in light and rushed at him, Archaon ignored the terra and turned left to stab Ven in the stomach, lifting him up and slamming him to the ground.
With the Wayfinders slain, or rendered dying, the Everchosen turned to the Disney Trio, who didn't notice what happened and built up a charge.
Behind him, Ana and the Wayfinders began to move. Rising up and remembering the rather painful deaths they endured. Terra punched the ground in a fit of rage and roared. "We're...not... done with you!"
PUNCH! RUPTURE!
A pillar of stone blocked the charge and Archaon halted, he turned with disbelief. "How did that, not end you?" Terra used his blade to get up. "You got me there." Ana kept a guess to herself as Aqua was dazed by the experience, the Keyblade Master turned and taunted with her weapons back to normal. "You're aim was off and you missed some of our organs!"
Ven wanted to call out that lie and was getting over a recent chill. "We're not letting you back up that tower, Archaon." He jumped to the sky and ripped out a crack in the sky, the Everchosen side jumped as Ana bull rushed him and left him exposed to Aqua, who stabbed him in the back and burst out a blue light. The sigils on Archaon's armor glowed and the Everchosen spun to knock the ladies away, only to be sent flying by a giant cleaver.
Dorghar sniffed something and turned to the fight between his Master and the four. He was about to leave his four and aid his master. Only for Mickey to use that as a chance to high jump with Goofy and hurl him at the back. Donald raised his staff. "Glacier!"
A pillar of ice halted the ground movement and Moonfang jumped to the demons back, biting and clawing at the wings. Dorghar rolled to get the two off and flipped to make a full bodied charge. Mickey had a strange force, compelling him to focus, he raised the blade up and watched it spring into a silver hilted great bow with the wings of a drake and an arrow the size of a tree. The arrow was let loose and Dorghar tried to wiggle out of the way, the arrow tilted to where he was going and pierced his chest. Mickey reverted the bow back to a blade and spun it. "Bind!"
He tossed a set of silver shackles that wrapped around the wings and caught them in place. Dorghar glared at the King, not pleased in the slightest. The Nurgle Head belched vomit at his direction, to get him moving somewhere less than ideal. Donald squinted his eyes and swiped. "You're not going anywhere!"
SPLAT!
Ink sprayed on Dorghar and blinded him for a second, the eyes burned through and the Tzeentch head turned to the bindings and inhaled. Strangely, they didn't turn into aether, black glowing runes kept the bindings tightly locked.
With it in a corner, Dorghar went for the more simple method and charge the fools. Moonfang swooped down and caught the Disney Trio in her talons, she breathed a parting blast and flew over a tail swipe. Goofy and Donald jumped off and worked together to fire an ice blast. Dorghar spun a turn as Mickey flickered in light and gave the daemon a long series of quick strikes. SWAT! Dorghar clawed Mickey, pinned him to the ground and watched him disappear. Dorghar squinted his eyes, showed off the many wounds and closed them up as a way of taunting them. Goofy cringed and asked. "Hey Mickey, how are we suppose to stop that from happenin'."
The King wasn't certain. "We can't, but we're far from at our limit." Rumble! As Dorghar was ready to continue, it saw a flash of fire in the horizon. Growing ever larger and ripping apart the earth. Donald felt something was wrong and was the first to turn, that fire was from an explosion he's heard about in war stories. He quacked loudly, Goofy, Mickey and Moonfang turned to see the fire coming for the city and screamed in absolute horror. The water, surrounding the city, turned to steam before the flame and as the five felt their existence flash before their eyes, the fire bent around the city.
The four paused, realizing the fire isn't going to reach them and Dorghar realize that terror was what it needed to bull rush the four, clawing and lashing. Mid air, Mickey and Moonfang let loose a stellar storm to shock the beast in place and give Donald time to cast a heal.
On the other side, Archaon and his foes watched the outer world catch of fire from an apocalyptic blast. Even the Everchosen was still from the threat. "What sort of madness did your allies wrought?! Which among them held that in their pocket?!"
Aqua, Ven and Ana thought about Exrirsa and her knowledge of planet wide warfare. The whole city looks like it is bathed in the fires of hell. Terra focused on the fight. "This city isn't so tempting anymore, it was raised from chaos and now it's returning to it." Swipe! With a blow of wind, he unleashed a misty Wolf with a Sword in her Teeth, she took a slash into the Everchosen and made him roll, only to be intercepted by Terra and be beaten across.
Archaon enveloped himself in fire, hovered still and flexed a roar, letting loose a burst that sent Terra and the Wolf rolling. The wolf howled and caused Terra to glow in moonlight before vanishing, giving the man the boost to flip to the villain and smacked him to the ground. Archaon crashed down and kicked Terra off before slicing into a rushing Ana and shoulder bashing Ven.
Aqua took a few steps back and launched a continuous fire barrage, Archaon sprinted and made the orbs rush over him before slashing upward and making Aqua roll. She flipped and hovered on a raised stone.
Flash!
As the battle was heating, a pillar of light rose in the upper reaches of the city, going higher and higher towards the Chaos Bound Moon. The Wayfinders and the Stormcast saw the glimmer, they spotted a faint shade of shadows in the pillar, heading to the tower where the Destiny Trio were fighting the Dark Seeker. Archaon realized, in a flinch. "That can't be! They actually broke that Blade and-" Snap!
Aqua snapped for the Everchosen's attention. "Hey, this fight is between you and us. It looks like your about to lose this War."
Archaon snorted and approached his shield. "All this and I've still haven't lost my breath. That Heart Forged Candle will not save you forever."
Ana jumped in the way. "The moment the Day and Night band together, you'll no longer have a hold on anything here." SLASH! Archaon cut Ana down and stomped his shield up. "Try and they might, their faith will not save you."
Ven leaped over the Everchosen and readied to strike the top of the head, only to be blocked by the shield and shoved. SLASH! SLASH! He was cut on his back and laying in his own blood. "I need to open the way and I will put an end to the Reverence."
Terra dashed in sonic speeds, only for Archaon to phase through him and march after Aqua. She side stepped to get an aim at a blind side, only for the Everchosen to hurl the shield at her and crash her to the stone wall. Her visor cracked open to reveal blue eyes that had a circle of an eclipse. Archaon lunged, with his sword ready to pierce her heart, Aqua rolled and knocked the Slayer of Kings out of the fiends hands.
A smile was upon her, knocking that off was part of the plan. Archaon grappled her in the neck and knocked her to the ground, he used his other hand to grab Firekeepers Wish, seeing it as a tool to evade the meddling fighters and a way to halt their resurrection.
Aqua let Stormfall go and punched Archaon on the cheek. "Keep your hands off of that!" Archaon budge slightly and Aqua caused her freed blade to break apart into diamonds and go into her fist. She punched again and cracked into the helmet, Archaon let her throat go and punched her back.
Firekeepers Wish burst into flames and compressed into a dagger, Aqua gritted her teeth and sank it into Archaon's neck. Making him choke and giving the Keyblade Master a push she needed, she pulled, stood up and watched the Everchosen glow in dark fire. The bleeding stopped and the Everchosen got up, seeing Ana and Ven recovering and making a stand.
The Three Eyed King raise his hand up and called the sword to his hand, he flipped the tip to the ground and whispered to it. What ever said, made the sword awaken as a figure of hellfire. He looked at the four in silence and spun a mighty slash across the magic shifted barrier that separated him from Dorghar. Every part of it disintegrated and melted, Dorghar leaped back and spat bile at four annoying creatures.
Archaon hovered towards his steed. "The Hour of Fate has come. With one blow, the Realms shall be split asunder." Ana wasn't liking what she was seeing and flew after him. Archaon aimed a hand at Ana and blasted her in a bolt of red lightning that set her skin on fire. Aqua and Terra channeled water to douse it as Dorghar turned his Nurglite Head, listening well to his masters speech. "Realms of old will fall, be it by the fury of the gods or smothered by the Darkness bellow. Some heroes, continue to fight on, too stubborn to realize that all hope is lost!"
With a cut from the daemon blade, the chains became undone. "Forged from the other world, six treasures shall he possess. Upon his head the crown shall see all, and open eyes will prove woe to mortal kind. Then shall he ride unto the World. Then will the World know that the last war has begun."
Archaon begun to laugh. "Are your people, gazing upon the sigil of the gods? Do they still hold the courage to defy the gods? Have you all, sacrificed the simplicity of the worlds, just so it can breath another day? Is this what your precious god us seeing? Another war for the right to claim it?"
Mickey and his companions made a run for the others as Archaon raised the flames to the sky. The final question, made Ven rub a tear. "It's always the same, no matter what we like to believe." That answer slowly turned to an agreement. Archaon sat on Dorghar's saddle and had the steed take flight. "Precisely, boy. The one difference between you and the maggots of yor, is that you lot are willing to admit to that. We are all the same deep down, we take what we want."
Aqua had enough of that disgusting feeling. "But we can be better. We can build from the old mistakes and make a future, that is why the Light guides us. So," She pleaded. "was any of this, what you wanted?"
Archaon didn't hesitate to aim his sword at the mortals. "Even if it was, I am not making paradise." By his will, storms of hell blew upon the eight. Goofy and Donald were almost blown away and Moonfang kept her side pressed to them. Archaon vowed. "Nothing here, is paradise! When I get my hands on that Heart, even Hell itself will crumble."
CRACKLE!
The Wayfinders banded together and conjured a crystal flower to deflect a super bolt. Ana cringed, plucked Goofy and Donald and got on Moonfang. The Wayfinders turned their blades into gliders, Mickey got on Aqua's and vowed back. "We're not going to let you hurt anymore people here. Not as long as we keep fighting."
Aqua agreed with him. "We just need to hold on a little longer. Are you all ready to ride?" The band nodded as the crystal faded away, Archaon shot another bolt and watched the riders fly up to the sky with him. Mickey shined his blade and caused the gliders to radiate on the sides. The time to go where Angels fear to trend, begins.
High above.
The Destiny Trio were seeing red and were near exhausted from their brawl with Xehanort. They kept together as the vessel of Be'lakor, used the near devoured light of Kingdom Hearts to overshadow them. Be'lakor raised No Name high and drew upon his Noctic powers. "In the end, only a band of children remain, to oppose me." Sora had enough of a nerve to keep a determined scowl as Be'lakor rubbed salt to the wound. "I will make your suffering, a legend."
PEW!
The teenagers notice Be'lakor being shocked by something, a pillar of light flying to the chain bound Kingdom and on contact, restored some of the light back. The Four Chaos were repelled and Be'lakors chains weakened. The Daemon watched and sneered. "Foolish specs, do they really think that will stop me?"
He readied something and notice a armored blonde boy behind the trio. Riku picked up the scent as Be'lakor glared at the fourth member. "Impossible! You are suppose to be dead!"
Sora huhed and turned, finding a determined Ken, who had a threat to follow through. "Ken?!" Kairi gasped and turned, her Lil' Bro gave her a long awaited embrace. "I owe you for saving us." The Princess was about to get quite teary eyed and embraced back. "Ken," Sniffle! "Waaaaaaah!"
Sora patted Kairi on the back and gave Ken a well earned hug. "Xehanort crossed it, but I'm glad we were able to bust you out."
Riku kept his eye on Be'lakor and watched the daemon thrash out of control, Xehanort's voice, burst into laughter. "Ha, ha, ah, ha, ha! How is a heart, that Dark, so persistant in belonging to the Light that robbed him of his place?!"
He howled as Be'lakor quickly regained control, the three broke the hug and Ken looked to the possessed mad man, having a strange pity. "We got to do something, I don't think he knows what's going on anymore." Riku shifted his eyes to Ken. "By blasting Be'lakor out of him with the Light?" Sora felt bells ringing in his brain. "If we channel the Light into Xehanort's heart, that might do it! With Ken here, he can power it up."
Kairi gasped to the completed plan. "That is brilliant!" She kissed Sora on the cheek and had a renewed perk as Ken pressed his hands together to radiate a healing warmth and clapped his blades into existence. The Destiny Trio felt their aches disappear and had a stronger resolve to finish the battle in victory. Ken hovered and ordered. "Give him everything you got, I'll cover you!" He flung himself recklessly and let loose a battle cry. "This is for Traverse!"
Be'lakor was baffled at the attack, flickered to hover over the boy and thrust No Name down. Ken disappeared, giving Sora the chance to lunge in an ars arcanum. Slicing Be'lakor across three angels and getting choked for his troubles.
Kairi yelled and flipped into a star of light, Be'lakor swiped sharp slivers, saw the girl vanish and flicker away. He sensed something behind him and raised a thumb to burst Ken's spot, only to find that a rear attack wasn't what the one armed boy intended. Four stars appeared and fired mighty beams of light, distracting the daemon with the equivalent to insect bites. Kairi light dashed to the arm holding Sora and struck, bringing the boy loose and going into an identical blitz.
Flash!
Riku teleported to the side of the daemon and thrust without warning. Be'lakor flickered to Riku's side and thrust for an impale, something grabbed Riku from the shadows and caused him to disappear. Be'lakor realize he hit nothing and glowed his eyes in yellow rage before distorting to where the boy was spirited to. Finding Ken giving the older boy a black winged jump boost and bending to avoid an impalement. Riku dived for a strike and flipped to his friends, who stood side by side and fired streams of fast light that blasted the daemon to a tilt. Ken darken the arena and jumped back into the darkness. Be'lakor growled. "That is enough!" He aimed a hand and yanked Ken out, the one armed boy yelped as he was dragged to sword range. "You can't hide any longer."
Ken shook his hair and wiggled his body to splash out star light that swarmed the daemon and caused his being to burn, the boy used that to break out and escape. "Nice that you're focusing on me!"
He waved, disappeared and left Sora to call upon Oathkeeper and charge. SMACK! Be'lakor felt the strike, hurting a lot more than he expected. He warped a turn and blasted the boy in point blank range with an orb of shadows. Kairi leaped, to continue the assault and give a battle cry. Be'lakor shot out his tail at the girl, only for a grey flower to materialize and catch the mutation.
SMACK!
Kairi slashed down and followed on her assault. Be'lakor was sent into a juggle and used the gauntlet to block the rest. He let loose fast blows to force the girl into a juggle and warped above her, if to stomp on her again. Green light flashed in sync to a sun setting radiance. An Angel of Night stood behind two orbs, punched one and kicked the other, hurling Be'lakor off as a sword sliced the sun set into multiple rays.
Xehanorts armor cracked wide open from the blast as Riku dashed from the sunset and yelled fierce. He stabbed Be'lakor in the chest and caused light to burn through. That made both the daemon and the host scream in agony. The chest rippled in shadows and shot Riku off, the silver haired boy breathed out a laugh. "This is actually going to work."
Be'lakor had a wide fanged smirk. "How genius, your skills have brought you so far." That compliment had venom dripping and the teenagers were ambushed by their own shadows. Sora, Kairi and Ken were sliced into and let loose bursts of magic to send the apparitions away.
Riku spun a cleave as Be'lakor floated to the center of the arena and surrounded himself in slithers of terror before letting them loose as a barrage. Sora and Kairi grabbed each others hands and flickered through as Riku heckled Ken and teleported in the light. Be'lakor let loose another as he caught on at the fours plans.
Sora and Kairi flickered again as Ken had a little payback, wrapped an arm around Riku and shadow stepped. The four were in point blank range, Kairi had a strange urge, aimed Destiny's Embrace and let loose tangling vines at Be'lakor. With some pressure, the third sliver was stopped and Sora used the moment to let loose. The light speed blows sent the daemon into a juggle and Sora gave a quick flash before striking a blast at the chest. Be'lakor was smashed to the ground and roared out dark clouds that engulfed the two into an electrical shock.
The daemon flipped as Riku shoulder bashed him and allowed Ken to pounce with his feet and back flip. Be'lakor fired chains from his wings, with a sadistic aggression. Ken flapped, climbed on the chain and pointed Cadias Light, causing the chains to become unstable and explode in a back lash.
Be'lakor dismissed the back lash as Ken landed in grace, pressed his blades together and aimed them like a rifle. Each shot is directed at the heart. Riku dashed to his cloud covered friends and used some light to blow them away. Kairi was shaking for a second and Sora shook it off, he perked with an adrenaline boost and noticed the clouds of chaos fighting the light pillar, making little progress and blowing whispers of an argument.
The Crimson Cloud crackled in lightning, flew across to get in alignment of Be'lakor and flew to the platform, dragging a giant axe with it. Be'lakor stepped back in terror as the Destiny Trio saw the axe coming for them to, they rolled as Ken flipped his blades into the lava bow. "Eat this you cowardly son of a-" Be'lakor pressed the hilt of No Name with the gauntlet, shooting a giant ball of hell fire. "I will burn out that tongue of yours."
Ken dashed right as Sora rushed at Be'lakor, struck him in a juggle, flickered to the front and enveloped himself in light. Be'lakor parried and readied to pierce the boys heart, Sora glowed with a dark aura, drew upon Oblivion and entered his Double Form. The boy back handed the blade with Oathkeeper and slashed Oblivion at the fiends neck, Be'lakor spun and let loose a shadowy glare, meant for the inner reaches of the boys soul.
Something glared back, a furious Roxas that had enough of him. Sora and his other half gave a battle cry, crossed their blades in an X scissor and slashed through the daemon. Kairi flickered into a star, went to the Daemons personal space. Be'lakor warped away and unleashed the dark storm once again, as Kairi charged up a cluster of wings a grey flower appeared and expanded it's petals. It flew at the storm, engulfed them and disappeared into nothing, surprising the girl as she felt a chain circling to her other hand. Namine passed a whisper. "I think this warrants something extra."
The chains formed into the Forgotten Chain, Kairi knew what to do with it. "Thanks Namine!" Be'lakor warped to unleash a flurry of blows upon hearing the name, Kairi back flipped as Be'lakor did something unthinkable and shot chains that sank into the girls heart. "She's thwarted my plans, for the last time!"
Inside a white room, Namine was seeing that and ran back from a swift shooting barrage of chains that caught her by the leg. The girl kicked and struggled, Kairi howled, sliced the chains away in an light scissor and blasted a collection of chains at the daemon. They weighed the wings down and left the chest exposed. Kairi felt Namine was save, rushed to the Daemon and pierced him in the heart before unleashing a flash of a star. Kairi rushed with her blades and let loose on the daemon.
The Vibrant Cloud descended and let loose a strong, pungent scent that made the mortals noses curl. They stepped back and held their breath as the cloud took the form of an otherworldly beauty with long white hair. It flashed light and shrieked a sonic blast at Be'lakor, making the fiend bleed by the ears.
Kairi gritted her teeth as the boys made their way to her, the girl conjured a dome of light as her lil bro conjured a dome of darkness, drowning out the screaming. Ken raised his pinkies to get a scout on the Cloud catching it's Crimson rival gripping the light beam and wrestling it. The dome blew and Ken kept firing his fire bows. He raised three fingers and press them together, signalling the Destiny Trio to work on the big finisher. Be'lakor warped to the three and swiped at them wide, sending them flying and following in a berzerkers frenzy. Ken shadow stepped in the way and turned the Lava Bow into the Big Fiery Gun.
BLAST!
Be'lakor was shot back by an inferno. BLAST! Then another, Ken had a wide, adrenaline boosted smile. "It's time that the both of you go!" BLAST!
The third blast prompted Be'lakor to conjure a reflective barrier and push against the fire. Ken's gun was overheating and he turned it back into blades. Be'lakor pressed the barrier to let loose rapid shock waves. The first two shoved Ken across. The boy shined into a star, pressed his blades against the third and shattered it. He fired a star blast at the Daemon and readied to jump into the Darkness, right into a dark hand that crushed him in the grip. The Destiny Trio were gathered up and watched the boy in a mess that was honestly bound to happen.
Riku was disappointed and channeled light for something, catching an entity of shadows flying out of Ken and taking the form of a feral fox monster. A form Shadey adopted. The Fox roared spectral power that froze into Be'lakor's vessel as the dark hand sparked into stars and ruptured. Letting Ken drop and piece together that the Shadow Step isn't going to work anymore. Ken sprinted to the teenagers, raised Night Sky and called. "Thanks Shadey, I think I got an idea."
The Fox conjured his own stars to pelt Be'lakor, broke down into shadows and slithered back into the blade. Ken blurted out. "He isn't gonna stand still! Do we got the stuff to put him in place!"
Kairi licked her lips. "Some light ought to keep the shadows in place." Sora planted his blades on the ground and worked on a spell that made the keychains grow out of control. "On it!"
Riku gave Ken a glance. "In the mean time, stay by us, the shadows here aren't answering to you anymore." The one armed boy saluted. "I figured that out." Be'lakor recovered from the Shadey mauling and snarled. "Enough of this!" He crushed in his hand and conjured a giant dark hand that wrapped its fingers and closed for a grip. Riku stabbed the ground and unleashed a morning blast that disintegrated the hand.
Be'lakor growled and his hand reached for Kingdom Hearts, a voice speak out against his will. "Kingdom Hearts, force this daemon back to the shadows! Only I understand the darkness you hold!" The exposed Darkness was in a push against the Light, causing a tremble from all over.
Riku was seeing a contradiction to Xehanort's desperate move and was ready to toss Way to Dawn for another blast. As he had the blade aimed, a comet crashed into Be'lakor and knocked him to a flip. The younger teenagers wowed and looked to Riku, who blinked at something he didn't do. The comet was tossed to the south of the arena and revealed a Warhammer.
The boys eyes matched with the glow. "I'll be right back!" He readied to warp as the blue cloud slithered to the arena and revealed two slit eyes on it's hands. Fizzling the teleportation out and the chains out.
Riku had to run for it. Be'lakor intercepted him and had the blade for his neck. Sora and Kairi switched plans for a unified assault and blitz Be'lakor in an arcanum as Ken side stepped and notice the Plague Cloud chasing the other away and vomiting a rain of Nurglings. The one armed boy aimed Cadias Light and sprayed a light show against the pus balls.
Riku saw the daemons coming, cringed and kept a dance around the destruction. He got close enough to the Warhammer and swiped it, feeling it's weight and lifting his blade over his shoulder as a counter balance. He notice the Warhammer, had engraved, glowing runes and remembered more of the shape, the form and of the legend.
"Ghal-Maraz?!"
He wasn't going to argue, he flew after Be'lakor and gave the Warhammer a test. He locked No Name with Way to Dawn and bashed Be'lakor in the Goat Helm with the Warhammer. Shattering it in one blow and causing the darkness to spew out. Sora and Kairi felt the power, stood side by side with angelic feathers and swiped as one, sending Be'lakor rolling. The Daemon called the fragments back to the neck stump and put the helm together. The Plague Cloud and the Crimson Cloud flew together and rained a barrage of plague skulls.
The Destiny Trio made a run back to Ken, who closed his left eye and fired at the vessels chest. The trusty las shot made a burning mark that Ken needed to fire a star shot. The plague skulls were coming to him and he regrouped with the trio as they watch the arena flood with gas. Be'lakor watch the armor corrode and flew over the clouds before using his wings to blow the gas at the four. "Melt before the plague!"
Kairi had a sharp memory of tactic. "They're using chemical warfare!"
Sora and Ken sprouted a set of wings and blew back at the gas. The spikey haired boy realize. "They're getting involved now! We got to line up Be'lakor to the Heart or they're going to go after us once we're done with him!" He focused and conjured a false black hole to suck up the gas as Ken flickered to stars. "One distraction, coming right up!"
He faced the daemon that was at the end of his patience and swiped a wave of ravenous shadows. Flick! Ken flicked, flipped and left behind a a shadow that was expanding. He laughed irritatingly and ran leftwards with a nebula in his finger tips, he hovered a glide and fired night bolts. On reaching another end, he released a shadow and floated back where his attack started. Be'lakor sensed something was off from the darkness and found two shadows shining as one. A spectral Dupmic leaped out to fire soul bolts and spear at the daemon. "We're going to pay you back-" A spectral Xion charged with the poise of a wolf. "for everything you brought to the worlds!"
Be'lakor sneered and drew upon fragmented illusions to cut the two down, a set of chains halted his spell. Ken locked the bindings in place and gave his fellow Rebels the chance to let loose, Dupmic punctured the vessel in the chest, let him slide off and slashed in a dance as Xion sliced through various directions and pounce in savagery.
As the attacks connected, Ken let go of the chains and joined in the bladed dance. Sora, Riku and Kairi wowed, kept together and focused their blades. Sora let his duo blades go in a hover and drew the Kingdom Key, if to begin a limit. The Crimson and Plague noticed the Vibrant and the Blue, pulling the beam away and rushed at them to knock them off. The essence of Slaanesh and Tzeentch backed away and noticed the trios ritual. Slaanesh crawled over the arena and shined an overly bright rainbow as Tzeentch used the light as a catalyst, condensing each one into an orb that burst into an ultimate blast. Ghal-Maraz sparked in lightning and Riku raised it up, making a barrier to protect him and his friends from the mass Ultima.
Ken and his Rebels notice the spells going off and jumped at annihilation. Cadias Light, glowed and pulsed into two arms that crossed into a two headed eagle. Dupmic and Xion leaped behind their friend and watched the Ultima's burst. Be'lakor was pushed against the raw power and cursed. "Damn you!" He took No Name and channeled it's power to Kingdom Hearts. "You will not take what is mine! You will bow to ME!"
The eagle disappeared and the Rebel Siblings rushed through Be'lakor in a slash, they phased through, hitting nothing. Ken groaned and conjured two stary wisps before aiming his blades and blasting a cloud of stars and channeling an aurora. "Try again!" Dupmic and Xion watched the aurora wrap around them, using the chill to strike true and smack the arm to a bend. Stopping the attempt to drawn in power, Be'lakor spun a slash at the two, grabbed Xion and slammed her to the ground, he raised his foot above her head with violent intentions. "Watch this!" Ken's eyes glowed white. "How about no!"
He blew out a whirl wind of mixing grey that spewed out a grey eyed Ken with a base ball bat and a las pistol. The Grey Eyes laughed maliciously and smacked Be'lakor in the head, using his weight to knock him down. The Grey Eyes pressed the las pistol at the goat head. "We're going to finally kill you, here and now!"
BLAM!
He blasted through the helmet with little effect and was blown back by dark wind. The Grey Eyes slid back to Ken and disappeared as Xion scampered to him. "What do we do, what do we do?"
Dupmic suggest. "We get back in Night Sky. I think we need someone that wants to hurt this!" Ken gasped to the idea and pointed Night Sky. "Return back. Asap!" The siblings rushed back into safety as Be'lakor asked. "You believe that Demon would do anything against me?"
Ken stuck his tongue out. "Won't hurt to try." He pressed his hands together and channeled out a raw twister of spite that clawed into the wings. Ken's mischievous smile turned to something devilish.
Glimmer!
The Destiny Trio finished charging something up, splitting a crown into three parts for later use. Ken stepped back as Be'lakor pushed through in his rage. Poof! The boy disappeared in smoke and ran. Sora dashed at Be'lakor, knock him high in the air and unleashed a whirlwind of Light and Darkness as Kairi sprouted her wings and joined in the fast beat down of light. She used the Forgotten Chain to tie Be'lakor up and spin into a comet, Riku high jumped and struck the daemons chest with the Warhammer before blasting with Way to Dawn. As the Hammer connected, something unexpected happened, the vessel was shoved back and the Daemon Prince was forced out of the body half way.
It was a shadows worth, but it was an idea. "That's it." Be'lakor aimed his hand in sync to his puppet and released a whirlwind of blades, phantoms and shadows. He and Kairi jumped to Sora's side, the trio banded together as one united heart and sprouted their wings. They flew into the twister and pushed against the dark power, they were not slowed. Kairi and Riku bashed Be'lakor on the shoulders and Sora back flipped a kick, stunning the daemon and unleashing everything he's got. Kairi joined in and twirled around the boy as Riku bashed Be'lakor with the Warhammer and forced more of the shadow out.
The silver haired boy let loose a point blank Morning Divide and a green flash finisher. Be'lakor attempted to fight back as Kairi stabbed with the Forgotten Chain and caused it to split into a set of bindings with a keyhole. Sora hovered, focused on the keyhole to lock it firmly and caused more chains to dangle to the ground. The boy and girl powered down as Riku gave one more blow of the Warhammer and knocked the daemons essence out of the body.
Forming into the Daemon Prince that's terrorized them for months. Be'lakor panted and tried to go back into his vessel, Riku looked him in the eyes and demanded. "This is it! This is your end!"
The green flash turned into locking chains that connected to the bound vessel that was nearing a limp. Khorne and Nurgle felt the ripple of light and flew to the platform with their plotting kin. Each cloud took shape, into a black armored warrior with red eyes, a living pustule with a maw that split open into a rotten skull, a humanoid collection of tentacles and pink, white haired humanoid with curled horns.
The very images distorted the trios visions and voices spoke out at once. A Colosseum became covered in brass chains and flowing in blood. A kingdom by an ocean, was covered in a rotten forest and leaking stagnant water. A city, advanced to heights beyond the future and reached out to stalks of eyes. A mountain of crystals, spewed dancing lights that were bare against snow.
As the warping visions were overwhelming the trio, they drained into the darkness. The trio were surrounded by distant stars, blinking in unity against the Chaos. The Destiny Trio took a stand together, aimed their blades at Xehanort in particular and caused a crown to shine beneath their feet. Be'lakor knew what they were about to do and roared. "No, NO! I will not be undone by a bunch of children! MY DARKNESS WILL BE EVERLASTING!"
Sora heard more than enough. "You're always talking about yourself, do you even get why you lost?" Riku answered that. "We stand together, rather than alone. As friends-" He glared at the daemon and the Darkseeker, hoping the later is still conscious. "we become a greater power than you ever will." Kairi nodded. "We guide each other through the dark times and make a light of our own. But for you-" She and her friends shined. "you'll only find ruin. Now stay out of our lives!" She, Riku and Sora looked to each other in a nod, they channeled a light that became a bright star.
The Trinity reached a limit and launched the star. It punctured Xehanort in the heart, engulfed his body in light and caused a rupture to swallow Be'lakor, a flash that forced his shadows away. The daemon prince screamed. "RRWAAAAAAAAAARGH!" and vaporized, bringing the light with the pillar.
The light pushed away, the Chaos gods radiated in a hellish power to obliterate the trio that served their use. Even if they know, that Ken was close by to channel his power to it's limit The Light cast a Shadow that fed into Kingdom Hearts and caused the Heart to blast a shine, bringing about a shade that smothered the gods in their tracks.
The Moon shined a keyhole and launched a multitude of beams, four in particular, appeared behind the Chaos. One for each, the Light chained around Khorne and dragged him in, bringing him to thrash like a rabid dog. "RWAR! THIS WILL NEVER STOP THE BLOOD!"
Nurgle gurgled and felt the pull was affecting him, he wheezed and laughed in defeat. "It will not cure the Realm of it's sickness. But you will learn."
Slaanesh shrieked and tried once more to seize the moon. "Your mortal wants will play this out again!" Tzeentch giggled like it was part of his aimless plans. "What will you continue to sacrifice, to keep US away?"
Their power is drawn out of the keyholes, breaking their visage into the Chaos they've used to materialize. All at once, the gods were drawn out and with them, the Chaos they embody. As more and more is drawn, the remains of the X Blade began to break apart and scatter, four of the hearts flew off into the darkness and left two distinct hearts behind.
The teenagers stopped their channel and light turned off. Kingdom Hearts reached an absolute radiance and channeled it to the platform. Everything went white and in a blink, the four were back to the tower bellow. Xehanort's armor turned to dust, his mutations faded away and his body fell to the ground in a thud.
The teenagers ignored him and approached the two hearts, finding them engulf in material, to make new bodies. One was Thanqoul, who was laying like a battered rat, he woke and readied something vicious as a Keyhole opened and brought teethers of Light that dragged him in. Thanqoul, typical of his kind, crawled, bit and kicked. "No, no, no!" His nails couldn't hold into anything and he was sucked in screaming.
The other body, reconstructed into the form of Ahriman. The Sorcerer, laid in defeat, looked up to Kingdom Hearts and got up, knowing the Keyhole that will expel him is right behind him. "It all went to naught." He turned and kept his eyes at the four. "You finally done, what the mighty scholars of old have been unable to do for the millennium. If your theory is correct, the Chaos gods will never set one foot in this realm again. They and their pawns, are leaving the Dark Realm as we speak. This Galaxy, will finally earn some long awaited peace."
He was ready to walk across the Keyhole and Sora raise a hand to stop him. "Hey, wait." Ahriman stopped, shaking his hand as the boy looked down for a second and breathed out. "I hope you find a cure for your brothers one day. I wished we could have helped."
Kairi was silent in the matter as Riku took a deep breath, forgiveness was out of the question, yet. "If we had the chance, we would have. Was there anything about this that you regret?"
Ahriman turned and looked to Nightsky. "If I wasn't being banished right now, I would have spoken a few. See that Xion, Dupmic and their pet, are back in their bodies and are living the better life they deserve. I won't regret that."
Kairi had a small smile and nodded to him. "We'll make sure there future is a bright one with smiles." Ken vowed. "No matter what the future will have, they will keep smiling." Ahriman sighed, smiling under his helmet and turning to the Keyhole. Marching back into the bleak future that awaited him PEW! Click!
The turmoil and danger lessened and the four were left with one thing, hovering over them. Kingdom Hearts itself, glimmering in the sky, over a world that was once again blasted by war. The presence was calming, yet something didn't feel right. Ken and Kairi wanted to go look around for something as Sora and Riku heard the groaning of an elder. It was alarming and they turned to find Xehanort was still alive, on his stomach, trying to get up. He looked onward to find his blade in splinters, he tried to crawl to it, attempting to salvage this defeat. The four approached the man and aimed their blades at his head. Xehanort nearly lost his breath and looked up to the trio that thwarted his master work of a plan.
Sora was tired of having to fight this man, swallowed and proclaimed with bitter sorrow. "You lost, it's over!" His voice cracked. "Please, just give it up." Xehanort cringed. "N...not yet, not... yet."
Riku shook his head and looked to the remains of No Name. "There's nothing else left. Finally, after all this. Light and Darkness came together to do the impossible." He crouched to the Darkseeker to give a stern lecture. "Light and Darkness, didn't begin in one another. Before then, there was nothing but a world of grey." He pointed to the light behind him. "But then, the first Light shined and from all corners, came Darkness. Desparity came to separate the two, as part of one another."
Kairi raised two fingers and kept her scowl. "With the light, came the shadows and with the shadows, came the light. That is the balance you forgotten about. That those who sought the Light above all, have also forgotten about."
Riku spotted something on the horizon, to make into a good example. "When Light and Darkness come together, they make a shade you see through out the sky. From the sunrise, to the sunset and even the night itself."
Xehanort knew the visual is right beside him, he looked right and had a view of the morning, visiting the world. He thought about it more and became more confused. "I... I don't understand. If they are close kin to one another, why are the worlds, that bask in the two, are as separated as they are?"
Sora shrugged. "Who knows. Maybe one day, we'll figure it out, but not now." Riku took a deep breath and stood guard, waiting for the old man's wounds to tale their tole. "Until we can find anything close to an answer, we'll keep people like you from messing our worlds up. For now and forever." The words stung the old man and he was running out of breath, it was a challenge of will, just to keep conscious.
Simultaneously.
The light gliding band of defenders ascended to the burning sky, where Archaon and Dorghar fired another lightning blast. Terra and Ven zipped ahead and used the modified gliders to blast pepper shots at Dorghar. The stead wasn't frighten at first, the projectiles merely tickled, then they started itching to a burn. He dived after Ven for a bite.
Flicker!
And found nothing in his jaws, the steed spun back into altitude as Ven tapped his board and fired two bolts. Dorghar swatted them away with his tail as Archaon swiped his sword down and commanded the fire to bombard Terra. The Cyclist pressed on the handles and rushed through the flame, going against the Steed. Dorghar swatted a claw against the force that pushed back. Moonfang had plans for a more precise target, breathed in as Donald enchanted Goofy's shield in lightning. The three fired a current at the Everchosen that conjured a shell spell and pushed it against the triple blast.
Zip!
Aqua zipped around to Archaon's left and sailed. Ana leaped with a battle cry, Mickey flipped high and Aqua had her glider stop, if to throw her off in style. Archaon stood up and swiftly parried Ana before turning a glance to Mickey and striking him more, the King conjured a holy barrier that was cracking and used it for a counter blast.
Giving Aqua the chance for a double bladed dive, slashing through the Everchosen. Archaon kept slashing at Aqua, regardless if his sword is burning into his body. The Keyblade Master went for the defensive and felt the Slayer of Kings seeping to the burning blade. The jolt of an instinct made Aqua spin a slash, Mickey followed with his blade turning into a great sword and Ana followed with a punch.
PEW! PEW! BLAST!
Dorghar's brawl with the fliers was in something of a stale mate, he pushed Terra away and made his pursuit of the king guard, with every intention to devour them. Donald was tapping more in the unknown and thought of something that could work. He conjured a trio of odd runes. "Comet!" PEW!
A meteor shot from the staff and shot into the beak of Dorghar's central head, exploding and dazing the daemon. Ven gave a battle cry, burned his glider in white light and ram it at the daemon, bursting with the essence of the sun and back flipping with the components remaking themselves.
With a focus of will, he conjured spears of light and chucked them. Doing enough damage that made Dorghar strife around. SWAT! He lashed his tails in a counter and followed with a pounce of claws. Moonfang rushed at the claw and had Goofy intercept for the boy. The Dracoth bleed out lightning and was sent crashing to the ground bellow. Donald cringed. "Heal!"
The wound closed and Moonfang used the vigor to land and dash for a jump. Ven's glider returned to him and he flew off as Terra caused the tip of his glider to split into a cannon.
BOOM!
Dorghar took the blast of light and was ready to rush through in an attack. Archaon took a few blows from the three on top of his steed and cleaved. Ana was knocked off of the steed as Mickey was feeling the blade rip into his rib cage and sending him falling off cold.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
The cold... refused to claim him, the King regained some breath and landed in a roll as Ana landed with a thud. Aqua tossed Stormfall, so it can turn into a glider to catch her battle mates, the surroundings were engulfed in Darkness and the Keyblade Master found her and Archaon on the other side of the battle ground. "Divided, you will fall!"
He hissed a curse at the Keyblade Master, Aqua focused with a dark aura and pulsed out a still, causing a reaction that burned the Everchosen's throat. Archaon followed with a flurry of blades that collided with Aqua's, meeting into some kind of stand still. Aqua wiggled her lips and breathed out a blizzard that froze the Everchosen in place, she stood back and fired ice spears. Archaon pushed through the ice, burned from his sword and gave three firm blows. Aqua was seeing red and cast a heal to remedy, it was suppressed by the Everchosen's will yet it came through.
On the far end, Mickey and Ana were on the glider, zipping alongside the others. Goofy saw the tear on the King's clothes and asked. "What's been going on up there?"
Mickey put together the clue to his survival as Ana whispered. "It's the Blade, as long as it's flame stays a light. Death isn't going to claim us this night." Ven zipped by on hearing that. "So that explains it!" Terra realized. "Did Archaon figure that out?" Mickey flinched. "Oh no!"
He thought, glowed in light and had a vision of three burning eyes staring into him. "When I claim your precious Beacon, you and that world will finally meet the end!" The teleport fizzled out, this brought the King towards a last resort, he stood on the tip of the glider. "Not if I have a say to that." He flew after Dorghar, flipped into a blue glow and readied to spear the beast. "Ultima!"
Dorghar didn't need a vision to know that spell is a last resort, he flew to the mouse that was charging a blast and with a snap of his Tzeentchain head, swallowed him whole. Goofy and Donald gasped and made a charge. "Mickey!"
They gave a battle cry as the other two heads were eager to add them to their mass. As they drew close, Dorghar's chest swelled from with in and burst in a magical blast. Throwing him off his flight and sending him falling to the earth, landing side ways and flinging his riders off. Mickey jumped out of the chest cavity, covered in bile and avoiding flesh that wanted to claim him. He landed with some grace and turned to find Dorghar trying to get up. The demons chest melded together and he was at the end of his breath.
Terra and Ven landed, turned their gliders back to blades and hurried to a knocked down Aqua that was recovering from the impact. "Aqua!"
The Keyblade Master woke up to the sound of her friends and rolled on her feet, Ana landed by her and let the glider return to a blade. "Are ya still breathing?" Moonfang landed with the Kingsguard and looked upon the recovering Dorghar with them. The steed looked them dead in the eyes, not willing to lay down. Aqua looked around and found Archaon crouching on his knees. "Yeah, these two don't know when to call it quits."
The Everchosen stood up and turned. "The same can be said of you. Why? Why do you keep fighting? The Dark Soul is not meant for a heart like yours."
Aqua crossed her blades. "Because I got friends to push me forward. I have a reason to keep going." She sprinted with the speed of a wolf, matching with the Everchosen's strength. Ven cringed and surrounded himself with sand before flying into the fight, Terra dashed side ways and drew upon the earthen bow. Archaon pushed Aqua away, slashed Ven three times and blasted lightning through the arrow, nearly shocking Terra.
The Everchosen spun to clash at Aqua and watched Ana charge at his side with a spark of lightning. Archaon grabbed the Masters Defender and yanked it away from Ana before striking Aqua with the hilt. The Stormcast punched the Everchosen held the hilt in a wrestle. Archaon laughed at her. "This was not yours in the first place. Go ahead, try to pry this tool from me!"
Ana raised a knee and kicked Archaon in the shin, doing nothing to hurt him, yet giving some momentum to push the blade backwards. The Stormcast channeled lightning in her hand and blasted it to her foe, tilting Archaons head backwards and breaking free.
Aqua switched the blades on her hands followed with a double bladed punishment, locking the Firekeepers Wish with the Slayer of Kings and knocking Archaon a couple feet. Dorghar sprinted after Goofy with his claws, while lashing tails at Donald. He sent Goofy rolling with a rather minor slash against the armor and was more successful in throwing the duck off and used the Khornate Head to butt Mickey. Donald tapped the ground and split it open, calling upon lava orbs at the beast. Mickey jumped to Goofy and worked together to turn the shield into a corona disk, it slashed through the steed and made it's return.
Leap!
Dorghar jumped to avoid that and spat it's bile. The two made a roll as Donald ran from where the daemon was landing. Mickey shined with his blade and turned it into a trio of rapiers, he grabbed one, tossed another to Goofy and flung the third at the mage. "Donald, catch!"
Donald turned to see a very familiar sword, grabbed it and enchanted it with mystical light. He thrust at the lunging heads. "Scram already! We had it with your rampaging!"
Each poke drew a head back, Goofy charged and thrust into the one of the daemons claws, Dorghar hissed, lifted Goofy up and smashed him into the ground. Mickey dashed up his back and stabbed the Tzeentchian head, making him thrash. Moonfang dashed in front of the steed and blasted the chest with lightning, the Khornate Head breathed smoke to smother the lightning as the Nurglite Head vomited. Moonfang pushed against the bile, sizzled and clawed into the chest.
One swipe sank into the chest and spilled it open. Dorghar stepped back, not willing to fall and readying for a last ditch effort to overwhelm the four. Goofy was getting up, despite the aches and made a stand with his King. Donald knew the steed couldn't take much more and Mickey asked. "Looks like he can't take anymore! Let him have it!"
Goofy and Donald nodded and fed their swords back to Mickeys, bringing it back to a Keyblade. They stood together, forming a circle of a mouse head and fired a quick trinity limit as Dorghar charged. He pushed through the flowing light and quickly slowed until the limit was at a end. As the light dimmed, the steed slumped to the floor, unable to fight anymore.
Archaon was in the middle of his attacks and watched the trio bring Dorghar down. Yet, the Everchosen refused to halt, he fought on even more. His third eye spotted something in the tower, worthy of his attention. High above the tower, was a maelstrom of Chaos and Kingdom Hearts, slowly being purified of the excess of Darkness. He spotted a Daemon Prince, being pushed from his puppet and bound in chains. A dark shroud covered the upper arena, empowering a growing light that fired into the puppet and blasted the Daemon into oblivion.
That made Archaon stop his attack, if for a moment. The Wayfinders used the opening to strike the Everchosen and send him into a quick juggle, before Ana slammed him to the ground. They were highly suspicious, there was no way Archaon would stop just like that.
Rumble! Rumble!
The City was flashing in an outbreak of distortions, moments away to imploding in the fabric of reality. Then a shine brought the Guardians attention, they looked up to see the four clouds swarm the Light of a Crown and Kingdom Hearts casting a heavenly glow. Light and Shadows banded together in radiance and brought about four Keyholes that caught the Chaos and began sucking them in. Archaon realize what that was and bursted into laughter. "Hua...ha...ha. HUAHAHAHA!"
He stood back up, no longer concerning defeat. Aqua and her squad turned to see the Everchosen raising his arms in triumph. Before they asked, Archaon rushed at them, even more determined to take lives. Ven was the first to be hurled in a wave of fire, Terra clashed with the Slayer of Kings and was flipped over. Aqua realized Archaon was coming for her and crossed her blades. CLASH! Aqua was feeling the sword pushing to her, for a second before pushing back, she was seeing the Masters Defender pushing alongside with her and looked to Ana.
Together, they pushed Archaon away and followed with a unified aura of storms. A Keyhole opened by the exit of the city, bringing Dorghar's barely conscious attention to it. The steed tried to get up and felt himself being dragged to it. Archaon stomped the ground and split out spikes to force the ladies apart. He aimed and let loose tendrils that bound Aqua in place.
The Keyblade Master looked him in the eyes and asked. "Is it even worth it, Diederick?" She tried not crying about it. "Is destroying, all you can do anymore?"
Archaon rushed to her in his answer. "Yes," SLASH! "Yes it is!"
The Slayer of Kings slashed through her and sent her falling, seeing the back of her legs, in an angle where it shouldn't be. She refused to black out and heard Mickey screaming. "Archaon, that's enough!"
CLASH!
She watched Archaon turn to Mickey and get tackled by a roaring duo of boys. Aqua's vision turned orange for a moment and saw the ghost of Benedict leaning down to her. "Come on, it's just a little longer."
She took the hand and smiled, before feeling her legs once more. She got up, returned her vision to reality and shook off ashes. She saw Ana turning to her and smiled wide. She and her Battle Sister tackled Archaon towards the Keyhole and caused him to loose his footing. Goofy and Donald made one more tackle and knocked Archaon off the ground.
The Everchosen flipped into the hole, vanishing from sight. The band turned to one another, ready to celebrate when a foot stepped behind them. Aqua was the first to have a look at Archaon, pulling himself out. "This... isn't... over!" He marched out. "If you wish me to be gone, you need to try harder! That Daemon is finally gone and the gods are denied their prize, but I'm far from finished!"
Ana cringed. "It's like you and Be'lakor have a history together." Aqua believed it. "I think we'd all be glad that one of the realms problems isn't going back there."
They rushed at Archaon for one more duel of the blades. The Everchosen had a wide, demonic smile under his helmet. "From the moment I've learned of him and what he's done to me, I wished for him to pay." He cut into Ana and Aqua formed a barrier to keep the others out of the match.
The Keyblade Master stepped back, let her blades fly out of her hands and attack. She had a pity for the Everchosen. "Who ever Be'lakor and the Chaos gods didn't take from you, they turned them against you. Those people chose a prophecy over defying destiny. That's why you've been alone since forever, that's how you've lost that Light. With no one to help you get it back."
Ana bashed Archaon in the face and tossed Aqua the third blade. "Is there a point to this anymore?"
Aqua conducted the three blades into a flower as the Everchosen answered. "Even as I fall, more will be glad to take my place as the pillager of this Realm! You have the Heart of the Universe at the palm of your hands, what are you going to do with it?" He mocked at the concept of nobility. "You succeeded where the likes of Xehanort have failed. Will you claim the truth of this Realm, from him? Will you take this power and make a utopia for your kind to thrive in?"
The questions made the Guardians flinch as Aqua opened her mouth and thought about it. Archaon kept pushing. "Or do you see what that power really is?" She looked Archaon in the eyes, certain about something and fired the Ray of Bonds. Knocking Archaon off his feet and falling back, leaving him to the event horizon, smiling under his helmet all the more.
He is brought to the other side and the Keyhole closed. Aqua and her Flame Blessed companions, felt the fire smoulder off and looked to what remains of the city, nothing but ruins and ashes. The questions they heard, was getting to them. Ana and Moonfang looked to each other and marched on. "He's right about one thing. Kingdom Hearts is right there now, we can do what ever we please with it and become more than the heroes defending it. But is that the right thing to do?"
Ven shook his head and took a step forward. "No, we'd be no better than he is." Mickey clenched a fist and tapped it at the palm of his head. "That was why Kingdom Hearts locked itself away. The worlds are not ready for it to return to them."
Goofy agreed with the wisdom. "Not with those kinds of people out there. Waitin' for the chance to get more power." Donald sighed. "Greedy people that will always think about themselves."
Aqua followed, bitter about the truth. "And here we are. Using that power, to make a choice for the worlds." Terra pressed his lips together, wrapped an arm around Aqua and helped her follow. "What choice did we have? We came so far to free the worlds from this madness, that we never stopped to think about what we're going to end up with. What else that we need to do, to set this right."
Ana and Moonfang shrugged in defeat and the Stormcast cheered up. "Ah, don't worry about that. We came here to stop these evil forces from turning the Realm inside out and we did it right in the nick of time. The hearts that know what has happened and the choice we've made, are smiling upon us."
Ven agreed with the Stormcast. "It's for the best that we keep Kingdom Hearts away from those evil people. Just so this doesn't play out again." Ana nodded and looked around for a clue of a direction. "Come on, let's show the others what they need for the Kingdom to truly return to the Realm."
Up the Tower.
As the Destiny Trio were keeping Xehanort put, Ken looked up to Kingdom Hearts. Feeling, deep with in his heart, what needs to be done. "So, do you guys think we can return Kingdom Hearts, back to it's sleep? With the keys we have?" Riku turned to the one armed boy, thinking about the task. "If we needed the X Blade to open the way, then we're going to need it to close it. What are we going to need to forge one?"
Ken tapped his noggin as he spotted a glow of stairs. "Even with the Princesses nearby, we can't really do it if I have the only Fragment of Darkness." Kairi turned to her Lil' Bro. "And if we go looking for the Shade Lords, we'll be leaving Kingdom Hearts unguarded."
Ken closed his eyes in defeat as Sora and Riku remembered an incident with the Door to Darkness, of a particular Keyblade that Mickey found. Riku looked to Sora's Keyblade, the Blade that sealed the Door away and thought. "Maybe... we won't have to. Sora, your Keyblade was one from this side of the Universe. The Blade that protected the light. From the other side, was it's brother."
Sora huhed. "The Keyblade his Majesty has?" He gasped. "It came from the Darkness and defended the Light too!" Kairi dinged to an idea. "If we use those as catalysts, we can make an X Blade that would lock this away."
She looked to Ken. "If we do a little team work, my Light and your Darkness could start it up." Xehanort groaned at the solution. "That won't work, when the Light and Darkness clash, the X Blade would only break apart once the powers fight one another." Kairi gave a passive frown at the Dark Seeker. Ken went to the stairs, to see who is coming. "I think we can make due. We just need something that won't fight."
He took off and peered down the stairs, finding six maidens being drawn towards a duty. He waved to them. "We did it everyone, but we got one more thing to do." Anna huhed and hurried. "What are you talking about?"
Ken turned to sprint to the Destiny Trio, drawing Anna and the other Princesses, to look at the Heart in the Sky. Tiana whistled. "Wow!" Rapunzel opened her mouth and guessed. "This is the thing those bad people tried to use?"
Kairi turned to old friends of hers and guided them. "The reason why I came to check on you all. We hold something that is needed, to forge a Key. One that can open this very place. We need a Light and a Darkness to make another that will last us until we close it up."
Riku clapped. "If we have the real deal for Sora's Key, then we can substitute the Darkness for his Majesties own Key." Ken hummed. "It's hard to explain it all. But I'm a real deal from the other side." He made a count. "Seven Lights and Sora. Plus, me," he pointed to Riku. "you, Terra and I think... the Heart of the Firekeepers world. I think that would be strong enough."
Elsa waved a hand. "Ken, Ken. What are you talking about?" The one armed boy answered with parts of his brain short circuiting. "The other half of the X Blade has Thirteen bits of Darkness and one of them is in my heart. If we have some people who used it and have an idea of what it is, then we can have Thirteen parts total. That's over half and a number than means something." He blushed with embarrassment. "I guess you weren't the only one who got scared of your powers Sis."
Elsa huhed and laughed a bit. "Sis?! Ha, where did that come from?" Kairi helped explain. "The parts of our hearts that make up that X Blade. I don't think that means what Ken thinks it means."
Jasmine folded her arms to that, finding it hard to believe. "Is the connection really like that?" Anna thought into it. "Not really, we don't even look alike." Kairi theorize. "Our hearts might be connected to the Key, but that's as far as it goes." Ken prayed it was and sighed. "Otherwise, I might have done something I'm regretting now."
The party heard more coming, a hearty band of eight arrived to see the aftermath of a long fight. Sora looked to Mickey and hurried as Kairi and Ken looked to Ana, gasped, cried out on joy and sprinted for a pounce. Before Sora could say anything, Goofy and Donald cheered as one. "Sora!" Glomp! The two embraced their comrade and knocked him to the ground, crying out their worries with one another.
The Wayfinders had Xehanort at their sights and approached, Riku stepped in the way and reported with a boyish groaned. "Thank goodness you guys are alive. Is Archaon really gone?"
Aqua nodded back. "And with him, the armies of Chaos. What happened up here?" Riku doesn't even know where to begin. "I'll start by telling you what we need to get done. We need to get send Kingdom Hearts back to sleep and we need an X Blade of some kind to do it. We've got a plan of how to make it work, but we're going to need-" He pointed at the Firekeepers Wish. "That-" then at Terra. "and you." The man blinked. "Huh?!"
Aqua gave Riku the blade and ordered. "Go get that made. Ven and I will make sure Xehanort doesn't try something."
Riku followed through and brought Terra with him. Finding Sora getting up and explaining the plan. Mickey gasped. "That could do it." With Riku and Terra close by, it is assumed they know what needs to be done. Ken and Kairi dismissed their blades and had the Princess's gather to a circle in the right of the corridor. Kairi joined the outer layer as Ken stepped to the upper left of the center. Riku placed the Firekeepers Wish to the upper right and went to the lower right. Terra went to the last spot, completely oblivious to what he has to do. "So.. what are suppose to do?"
Ken looked to a fire dimming and explained. "We got to tap into the inner Darkness we have as Sora and Mickey use their blades to make the thing." Terra's eyes widen, once again, he walked straight into the taboo. "Are you serious?"
Ken answered in confidence. "Completely; you, Riku and those guys in there can be trusted to work with the Light." Riku squinted his eyes. "And you." Ken blushed, typical of a boy his age.
As the circle was gathered, Sora and Mickey stepped to the center, figuring out what they need to do. The King asked. "So, before we do this. Do we know how to start?" Sora guessed. "The X Blade looks like two Keyblades, put together. So-" He raised his blade and offered the King to cross his with it. The hilts touched, side by side as the wielders kept them high.
With a hope and a prayer, Kairi and the Princesses closed their eyes and glowed in light. Ken calmed himself, closed his eyes and reached his hands for Riku and the Burning Blade, draining the light and making things dim. Riku closed his eyes and stretched out, dimming into a shadow before the dawn. Terra took a deep breath, knowing this was their only gambit, he closed his eyes and reached for those at his side. The four of Dark, evened out the Light and balanced out the radiance of the two Keyblades. The five onlookers, watched the two Keys come together in a unified grey. The grey turned into a simple sword, though the gold and silver were stuck together. Their chains condensed into a single bond, of a bauble resembling a heart.
The participants, felt something near completion and stopped. Sora and Mickey, looked to their hands, touching the same blade. Feeling something made whole. The boy and the King held it, like they were one. The circle of Light and Darkness, opened their eyes, to see the finished work. The Kairi and Ken, were amazed that the plan worked. The Princess asked. "Did we do it?" Riku felt it. "I think we did." He laughed and asked Terra. "Go tell the others." The adult went to his friends as Sora looked to the blade again.
Xehanort looked on in confusion as his wardens were impressed. Ana laughed. "Well, I'll be. The lads have done it." She looked down at the Dark Seeker, judging him. "It won't be long till the Realms Heart is secured again. All the danger you brought, all the people you used and you ended up becoming a tool for an evil demon that swiped your dream right in front of you. You brought this on yourself."
Terra heard that. "It's called karma. The cycle only repeated itself in the end." Aqua felt it was well said and crouched to the Dark Seeker. "This city looked and felt like it was a dream come true, before it was all split open and revealed for the ruins it really is."
Xehanort tried getting up, offended by the statement, Aqua pointed onward. "It didn't have to come to this, this could have been a reality if you picked better choices. It didn't have to be something that we needed to shake you out of. You've consumed so much of the Darkness, that you've caused the very problems that happened when a bunch of people became obsessed with the Light." Ven agreed with his Big Sis. "If not worse." He wanted to repay every big of woe the Dark Seeker had brought upon him, yet held his hand. "You made people suffer and people suffered because of you. Everything you done is unforgivable."
Terra gave Ven a side ways hug, keeping him calm. "The Dreams over, this is reality. We got to stop depending on one thing as a solution and make our own lives. One that's away from a flawed system." He looked to find Kairi and Ken looking at all corners of the demi X Blade, asking Sora and Mickey questions. The two heard their own questions and perked to asking each other more. "Would you have seen anything different of this, if you never knew about the balance?"
That, brought a few memories back, one of a simpler time, where he and two others were wide eyed about making a club house. He clenched his fist, wishing he could go back to that time. "They would have simply been pupils of an... old friends pupil."
He knew he threw a lot of those joys away and slammed a fist on the ground, it was rather weak, but the message was definitely made. Aqua is seeing how that hurts inside. "Talking over a fire, sharing stories and learning from each others experiences. A dim light attracts more than just shadows, after all?"
Xehanort knew exactly where Aqua got that knowledge from and passed a look to a Burning Blade that was in wonder of the souls gathering together for a celebration. "Was that something you've learned on your journey?"
Aqua nodded. "When you travel to worlds, that have been in a constant flux between the lux and the umbra, you'll see things that can change you."
Ven had some examples. "People that seek the answers we've sought, worlds that have their own way of understanding things." He passed a few stories. "One guy brought about a Light that never faded, to a world that was harsh and indifferent. Another, found that Light and realize he wasn't as alone as he thought. Another Heart, sought the kind of answers you did and went down a dark path. But he realized his mistake and came out of the Darkness, wiser. He overcame a universe that wasn't ever really fair to him." Aqua had a final example. "And the other amongst us, despite facing things that would give any of us nightmares and kept on going until the end. Even when everything was swallowed by the Dark, he kept a torch lit for when we needed it."
She looked to her students, particularly at Ken, who was calming down from his excitement and pointed to the Moon. "All kinds of people, from different walks of life, have a connection to give. Eventually, we met the very Darkness we've been scared of and he sees the most of us as a friend."
Ken was suggesting something that Kairi came to an agreement with, they looked upon Sora, for a long awaited duty. Terra passed a whisper to the sad old man. "Now, you get to watch what that connection even means."
Aqua wondered what the youngsters were talking about and sternly warned the Dark Seeker. "Those hearts, that you've used and shunned, are going to want justice for what you've done to them. I think this would be more than enough." Xehanort cringed, compelled by a dying want to observe.
At the other side.
The band of teenagers and the royalty looked on at the X Blade, Kairi felt there was enough squandering. "Now." She cleared her throat with a cough. "Ahem!"
She turned to Sora as Mickey let the blade go. The spikey haired boy had a guess on what is to be requested and was tongue tied. "W...We just need to lock Kingdom Hearts away again and we can finally go home. We did it."
Kairi nodded and spoke with regality. "We did. But a while ago, none of us would have had the will power to make it this far. So many of us were swept away by the Darkness, that all would have been lost." She raised a finger. "Yet one heart, never gave up." She pointed to Sora's chest. "That one heart, despite all odds, never forgotten home and formed a light that called us all together. If it wasn't for that heart, we would have stayed divided against the chaos that ensued. We wouldn't have been able to stand with him, against that evil. The Heart that guided us towards this bright morning, was yours." She gave a gentle smile. "You've kept calling to us and in turn, we've called back to you when you became lost."
Ken declared, with the serious tones of a determined prince. "So, as the ones who held the pieces of this old Blade." He looked to the maidens that were coming to an agreement. "We would be honored if you were the one who sets this right. Tuck Kingdom Hearts, back into its dreams. Of the worlds in harmony to one another. So that way, it will know that the dream will come true one day."
Sora gave an expression of childish confusion and pointed at himself. Earning a laugh and a giggle from Ken. "You bonded with so many people. With hearts from across the way, with those from the beyond and those that aren't here to see or know of this moment." He pressed his hands to his chest and closed his eyes in grace. "The Heart of All, would like to know of you too."
Kairi snickered, teasing her Lil' Bro. "Oh, I think everyone, who looks up to the Sky right now, will see what is happening. This sky, is one that we all share."
Sora had some pleasant memories, of the worlds he's been and of the friends he's made. "No matter where they are, they will know that this is right. But..." He offered that Mickey hold to the other hilt. "I'm not the only one who's made this morning come." He called to his fellow Guardians. "Everyone, help me out!"
The Guardians gathered with Sora, to the center of the ground. Leaving the Princess's and a despairing Xehanort, to watch. Kairi kept the closest to Sora's side as Riku made a stand by Mickey, Donald and Goofy kept close to them and the Wayfinders gathered together. Ana was in the far left corner and Ken was in the far right. Sora and Mickey aimed the X Blade, towards a calm Moon. Each companion, that's been with this long journey, shined in light. Even Ken, who had a dimness to him. Sora looked up to the Heart of All and whispered. "We'll meet again one day, I promise."
The X Blade shined out a clear path and a Keyhole shined to the Heart. A simple ray of light shined out and connected to the lock. Kingdom Hearts hymned a click, shined back to the many who've kept the worlds safe and disappeared into the morning sky. With the power spent, the X Blade's details faded and left behind the two Keys that made up it's form. Sora and Mickey stood side by side and looked to each other proudly.
Xehanort looked on in complete defeat, with his life's work swept away before his very eyes and a lot of his philosophies proven flawed, he felt heavy. He wanted to lay down and pass, as that dark wish came, a corridor opened. Stepping out was a blonde, red eyed man who's looked down on him, like a lecturing father. "I believe you've seen enough to know how foolish this has all been."
The Masters Defender shined in light and echo'd a voice that surprised the Guardians, least of all the current wielder. "Enough." Ana had an urge to let the Masters Defender go, it hovered, like someone was holding to it. A spectral Erasqu appeared with the blade, having a sorrowful and guilty frown for what he's about to do. He approached the one he called a brother, aimed his blade for his forehead and proclaimed. "Checkmate!"
He crouched, offering to help Xehanort up, the Dark Seeker had a pain in his heart over a truth that is hard to accept. Why have these ghosts came. "You've came to ferry me to my fate? As more specters of my failures?" Ansem approached, with a heavy heart. "This is not something, we take pleasure in."
Erasqu agreed with the former king. "We've all allowed this disaster to happen. But perhaps we can learn from this." Ansem crouched, to offer Xehanort a hand. "A lesson, that is too late to be of any good for us but perhaps, it will not be too late for them."
Ana huhed as Aqua and her Wayfinders dashed to the ghost of their mentor. "What are you two talking about? Master, what are you doing?"
Ansem chuckled at an old history lesson. "As you've learned, those who do not learn from History are doomed to repeat it." Erasqu turned to his students. "You've barely survived, because this fool of a teacher chose to keep the past buried. Had I've taught you better..." He closed his eyes as Aqua confessed. "We get it. We didn't exactly learn from what we saw in the worlds and when the time came to stop one disaster, we ended up paying a price."
Ven found the bitterness hard to watch. "We're fine now though. We can keep learning and we can do better for the worlds. I think we know what's going on right now though." Terra nodded and asked his adopted Fathers. "You're here, because there is a Heart that as disrupted the cycle and needs to be brought away from the Light, so he doesn't try to do this again."
Ansem nodded. "That is correct. A place where fallen hearts are kept away from the Cycle, until the day comes for all Hearts to return to the Kingdom." Erasqu was trying his hardest not to cry over who he's doing this to as Xehanort pieced together what awaits him. "The kind of Darkness, I've been unleashing upon the worlds. Even before the daemons."
Erasqu looked his brother in arms in the eyes. "Yes. It's a more terrifying fate than you've realized. Reserved for the Darkest of Hearts, few would go quietly. But perhaps, this might enlighten you, to what you've set wrong."
Terra pleaded. "Dad..." Erasqu looked to his students, where were terrified of where he's going. "The end of that Journey is not mine. But this task is a fitting punishment for a foolish teacher like me." He laughed. "Darkness must be destroyed, only the Light would prevail. It was only the speakings of Chaos."
Kairi heard more than enough. "But the Light did prevail." The King of the Bastion passed a smile to the girl. "It did. But not alone, a force, akin to the Light, stepped out of the Darkness to achieve the impossible and proven these foolish men wrong." Ken yelped and hid behind Riku, Ansem chuckled. "We have no one to blame but ourselves. For not leaving things be."
Sora dismissed his blade, folded his arms and asked. "But do you two really have to go through with this?" Riku dismissed the blade and lifted Ghal-Marax over his shoulder. "It is pretty sad, but I think it will work out in the end." That much, the Wayfinders believed, they approached the ghost of their mentor and gave him an embrace. Silently crying. Erasqu hugged back, doing his hardest to hide that he's crying too. They let go and looked each other in the eyes with resolve.
Terra promised. "We'll keep the worlds going on in this balance, for as long as we can." Erasqu patted on the older two's shoulders. "Find your happiness out there." He smiled to the three. "Take care of each other, see that mornings like this, continue to give their grace." He looked to the youngsters who've done the heavy work for ending the dark legacy. "Keep striving towards that future.
Home awaits you all." He went back to Xehanort and finished helping him up with Ansem. "Now, are you ready?"
Xehanort looked to his victims, then to the awaiting Void. He somberly answered, with a firm tone. "No. No one ever is, but... it is for the best." His adopted father nodded. "We leave the future in their hands now. They will learn, what we've failed to listen to." Xehanort tried to gain something of a foot hold and let the two he wronged the most, walk him into the Darkness.
As the three disappeared, the rift closed and left behind the Masters Defender. Aqua went to pick it up and watched the illusions of Scala Ad Caelum, turn into the ruins of an old town. Mickey looked over the edge, finding the ruins under the rising sun. "And just like that, it is like it was never here."
Aqua agreed with her closest friend. "But maybe we can keep the idea of what that city is suppose to be... and not what it actually was." Ken dismissed Cadias Light and picked up the Firekeepers Wish. "But what about the people who don't have a keyblade or don't have a way of getting one?"
The mentor found that a very good point. "For some, it isn't even their fault, that they are not picked and having a utopia just for the chosen, really isn't fair."
Kairi agreed, focused her blade and opened five doors. Each one having a detail, towards a place the Princess's are familiar with. "We'll have to figure that out one day and I think I know where we can start." She asked her fellow maidens. "These should bring you back home. Unless you want to stick around for the party's that's going to come."
Rapunzel considered that and remembered that she and the other Princesses were kidnapped. "Mom and Dad are going to be worried about me if I'm gone in the morning!" Tiana felt the feeling is mutual. "If our folks found out that we've been snatched away, they'll never let morning go." They went to their respected door first as Elsa recalled. "And some of us have something important to do." Anna nodded to the one who is a Queen of a Country. "If we're fast enough, no one will know." Belle gasped in memory of her friends at a Castle and hurried to her door. "Oh no, no, no, no, no!" Jasmine smirked to Sora, Donald, Goofy and Ken as she walked to her door. "We'll see you again, when we least expect it."
Donald and Goofy laughed to that as Sora tired out. "Really don't expect it." Elsa waved goodbye to Ken, who waved back and promised. "We might bring some surprises when the worlds start calling again. I got some friends I need to put back in their bodies."
Elsa perked and recalled a faint memory of a black haired girl, she wanted to ask about that and decided to let that be a surprise. She and her Princesses gave a final bow of gratitude, opened their doors and stepped across. Returning to the worlds they lived in.
The doors vanished and Ana felt her body breaking down to ashes. The Stormcast, knowing she was running out of time asked. "Now with that done, I think we need to get back to our kin and sort a few things out. I'm going to need a visit to Ol' Sigmar and I'll be good as new."
She asked Riku. "Lad, you know what you're wielding right, there, right?" The silver haired boy nodded and approached the Stormcast. "Sigmar's Warhammer and it didn't come out of nowhere. If I bring these to the Stormcasts, they'll take care of the rest?" Ana continued to her topic. "They will, but it's not every day that one of you gets hold that."
Riku pointed his thumb to Sora and Kairi. "T'sk. It's because these two were duel wielding, while I had nothing to do that with. You think I got chosen for something?" Ana burst laughing. "Nah, you just got lucky is all." Sora wooted. "Really lucky! We won't get another chance like that, ever again."
Kairi brought out her Gummi Phone and aimed it to Riku. "This is going in our album." Ana folded her arms, impressed by the thinking, Riku kept a relaxed pose with the one of a kind Warhammer and watched the flash.
"Alright, alright! Save that for the party." Waddle! Waddle! The Guardians heard the voice of Chirthy and saw he arrived. The cat waved both hands, getting pretty excited for something. "You guys were amazing, we only have a couple things left to do before it can start. Kendry, if you would?"
Ken nodded, approached the Cat and let out the four hearts. Chirithy huddled them together, like a child would hold a bundle of kittens. The one armed boy asked. "It won't take long before Xion, Dupmic and Shadey wake up to see the day, would it?"
Chirithy giggled. "It won't, they'll be looking for you before Breakfast time!" Ken snickered and yawned. "If we're still awake by then. Once I feel that Benedict and the others have seen enough of the Sunrise and of a world that is alive, I'll have the other thing finished."
Chirithy would have given a thumbs up if his hands weren't full. "It has to be done soon," Aqua cringed and asked. "That goodbye isn't going to be any easier." The Cat nodded and waddled to a door of light. "Once you look into the Dark and find what is really there, you won't ever be the same again. Even if the Dark Soul is leaving your system right now."
Ven agreed with that. "The Firekeeper and the Four Lords, kept us alive as Archaon was chopping us up." He was a bit worried. "Is there a catch to that?"
The Cat twitched his ears. "There shouldn't be, you guys didn't die too many times." He had a lecturing tone. "Although you were all trying to cheat death instead of protecting Kingdom Hearts from the Everchosen... you might have had a lot of explaining to do. I think the Powers that Be can let this slide."
He used his mouth to try and open the door, Ven felt it was too silly and went to open it for the cat. Chirithy smiled with a bit of envy. "Home's awaiting y'all. You're in for quite a morning." He went past the door and had it fade away gently. With that done, Ana's body collapsed into ashes and left behind a stormy heart, Aqua took the heart and let it rest in her arms.
As a sister would for another. As the group tried to figure out how to get back to the Battleground they left behind, a big door, like the one they used to enter the city, appeared. Sora, Riku and Kairi approached it and turned to their friends. The spikey haired boy waved. "Come on, let's see if our friends are alright."
During the final battle against Chaos.
The Defenders of the Worlds were about to be over run by the sheer amount of Daemons. Even with the fire power from the tanks, the Titan and an entity of Light, ceased to really hold them back. The Eight, who's stood as the Incarnations of a Primordial Power, were getting strained from the endless tide. Quetarsta more than the others was crackling. "We must... hold!" Flip! ROAR! The Fiery Lion, his band of beasts and the strange Clown were frantically spreading waves of destruction as the Committee were getting pushed to the focal point. Cloud, Leon and Cid slashed endlessly as the ladies spun their attacks as one. The Gang Members, with some of their own being the magic point, were being blown away by the raw Chaos.
Ienzo was casting every spell in his book while his men were shooting at what ever daemon they could see and Wanda was diving in. "We keep standing! We keep standing!"
Kermit, Wander and Medy were playing a tune of light as a last ditch effort to slow the tide. As the army was at their limit, something glimmered in the Darkness. Keyholes that sucked in the color, for a grey. The storm of daemons didn't notice, until they felt their own being sucked away. Screaming as they were dragged into the vortex, to the Hell they called home.
The pressure lessened as more and reality was returning to the barren land. As the chaotic colors were vacuumed away, the army of the Light realized, the War was over.
Victory, was achieved.
With that, the Slann turned the spell off and was on the verge of passing out, the Incarnates collapsed to the point of exhaustion. Only Yen Sid was able to keep a stand, if because he has a staff to hold on. He looked up to the sky and found a miracle in the sky. Kingdom Hearts was freed from the symbol and radiated across the land, in a unity of Order. He breathed. "S..Sora and the others, they've..." He smiled. "They've done it."
The summons looked to the sky and Gilgamesh whistled. "Ha, I knew they had it in him." Each of his kin began disappearing, the Clown realized that, knew what isn't going to happen and stomped in a temper. The Warrior was seeing himself fading and laughed. "Speak for yourself, at least you got a home to get back to."
Ripple!
To the Clowns surprise, a Rift of Light appeared above the warrior. "Wrr?" Gilgamesh didn't notice. "That cursed Rift ought to show right about-" He felt something was off and looked up. "Huh?" A glowing horned humanoid, with feathery wings, descended from the rift and grabbed the Warrior. This was a change of pace from what Gilgamesh expected, yet he know it was meant to bring him across there. "Ha, ha, ha! Could this be?" The strange angel lifted Gilgamesh up before he had a chance to ask more and flew into the rift with him.
Even the Clown was confused by that and he turned to a torn up Deadpool to chime a question. The Mercenary guessed as his wounds closed and flaked off the burns. "That's going to come up later, Shiny. I think the summon power's at the limit, so don't expect the kids to be back on time."
The Clown whined and pressed his hands on his chest, hoping that the ones who summoned him are going to be alright. Flicker! With the summons gone, the more super natural forces, that lent a hand, began to disappear in light. Tifa, Big Hero Six, a battered Sentor and Elrena helped get magic conductors up.
The brawler was holding Aerith up and asked. "Are we all still alive?" Aerith closed her right eye and blushed. "I...I think we are." The ladies looked to the Heart in the Sky, wowing once more, Yuffie asked. "So... when are we going to celebrate?"
Ienzo observed. "Later, once we learn what's happened and clean up as much as we can. By all accounts, our Guardians should have a heroes welcome. But now, they have Kingdom Hearts right there." He asked. "What do you suppose, they're going to do with it?"
Lea was regaining his locomotion and joked. "What else? They're going to send it back to sleep, so it can stay away from us!" Elrena felt enough was enough as she lifted Lauriam up. "Hey, hey. That's for the best, even we're all a bunch of saints."
Lea got up and spun a finger as Yen Sid tapped his staff. "Even if that was said in humor, the truth is a dire one." Pete rolled on his rear, grumbling at a loss. "And just how many bad guys are looking at this now?" He pointed a thumb at himself as Minnie spotted a grand city, just bellow the Moon. "Plenty more than that."
It was a few minutes, before the army watched a keyhole appear on the Moon and a grey beam shining to the open lock. The beam, clicked the clock and caused Kingdom Hearts to vanish. Minnie sighed at what was expected. "And so, it is done."
Lauriam felt satisfied. "Indeed, this dreadful war is finally over. So begins a time of regrowth."
Pete laughed nervously and opened a corridor behind him. "At least until we can get back to starting our plan over!" He got up and waved. "Later gators!"
Lauriam was about to bind Pete right there as Stitch held the rose blade, Wanda passed the order. "Let him go, he did more than his share to fix this." The pink haired man tighten a grip as Pete took off without even a gloat. As the atmosphere lightened, a Door appeared and opened for the heroes that banished the Chaos. Minnie was the first to run to the the Guardians, Mickey had a moment to see who was coming and was given an embrace and kisses. The Committee were the next to approach, yet Cloud and Lightning kept a distance, smiling as Sora and the others were about to be hailed as the heroes they are.
