Author's note: Sorry for the wait folks! Got a bit lazy and busy. So here's the next chapter you all have been waiting for, but first, Spoilers ahead, this is a two part chapter! The fight scenes will be in the next chapter, because I have to think on how the fights will go down, and don't want to leave you guys hanging for too long. Enjoy!
U.A. High, the next day.
"I AM HEREEEE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HEROOOOO!"
Bursting into the classroom dramatically, All Might surprised the students and looked in shock to see the rumors were true! The number one hero is teaching here at U.A.!
"Woah! I can't believe it's really All Might!" Kaminari said.
"So he is a teacher! This year is going to be awesome!"shouted Kirishima.
"Hey, isn't he wearing his silver age costume?" Curiously said Asui
"I'm getting goosebumps, it's so retro!" Said a tailed quirk student named Mashirao Ojiro.
Making his way towards the teacher's desk, All Might spoke to his class with confidence in his voice.
"WELCOME TO THE MOST IMPORTANT CLASS AT U.A. HIGH! THINK OF IT AS HEROING 101! HERE YOU WILL LEARN THE BASICS OF BEING A PRO! AND WHAT IT MEANS TO FIGHT IN THE NAME OF GOOD! LET'S GET INTO IT! TODAY'S LESSON WILL PULL NO PUNCHES!" All Might pulled out a card that said 'Battle' and showed it to the class.
"Fight training!" Said Bakugo with a huge smile on his face! It was his time to shine and show these extras who they're messing with!
"Alright finally! Time for some hero work!" Peter said excitedly. He can barely contain himself for this part of the class!
"BUT ONE OF THE KEYS OF BEING A HERO IS…LOOKING GOOD!" The number one hero pointed to a nearby wall and from it came out boxes with numbers labeled on them. "THESE WERE DESIGNED FOR YOU BASED ON YOUR QUIRK REGISTRATION FORMS AND THE REQUESTS YOU SENT IN BEFORE SCHOOL STARTED!"
Nearly all of the students yelled in excitement! They couldn't wait to put on their hero costumes and see how they look in them! All Might instructed the students to suit up and meet them for their first training lesson in the hero course!
U.A. High, Training ground beta.
Seeing his class out of a tunnel wearing their hero costume, All Might gave them some words of inspiration.
"THEY SAY CLOTHES MAKE THE PROS YOUNG LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, AND BEHOLD YOU ARE THE PROOF! TAKE THIS TO HEART, FROM NOW ON YOU ARE ALL HEROES IN TRAINING!" Getting a good look at their costumes, All Might commented on them. "SEEING YOU ALL GETS ME PUMPED UP! YOU ALL LOOK SO COOL! NOW! SHALL WE GET STARTED? YOU BUNCH OF NEWBIES! HMM? WAIT A MOMENT. WHERE'S YOUNG MIDORIYA? HAS ANYONE SEEN HIM?"
*Thwip* *Thwip*
*Whoosh*
A shadowy figure flew over the class and landed between them and All Might! This figure was wearing a red and blue suit with a mask covering their identity! The suit also had black webs around the red parts of the suit and with a black spider on the front and a red spider on the back! They turned around to face the class, removed the mask and said,
"Hey, everyone!"
"Midoriya!" The class yelled. Taking a good look at his costume they commented on how it looked! Even Peter's friends gave their opinions on his hero suit.
"Woah! Nice costume Midoriya! It looks so retro like All Might's!" Kirishima gave a thumbs up.
"That suit gives it a classic feeling for some reason, I like it!" Said Asui with a smile on her face.
"Now that's a hero costume right there! It really fits with your theme Midoriya!" Added Sero.
"That costume of his offers little protection, but then again who am I to judge! I approve!" shouted Iida positively.
"Woah! Deku's hero suit looks amazing! I wonder if it's more comfortable than mine?" Uraraka wondred.
"Why don't you go ask him and take a closer look? I bet that suit of his hugs him in the RIGHT places like yours does." Joked Ashido, causing the browned haired girl to blush and look at her in irritation.
"Ashido, I swear I will take your gravity and send you to space!"
Even All Might joined in the comments!
"AWESOME COSTUME YOUNG MIDORIYA! IT LOOKS SO TIMELESS! AND THAT ENTRANCE? SO HEROIC! IT DEFINITELY SCREAMS, I AM HERE!"
Peter thanked everyone for the positive comments on his costume. Wearing this suit, he felt complete! He was Spider-Man once more! He couldn't believe that it was made by him and his mom! Before he went to U.A., his mother accidently, took a peek at a journal and found its designs when he fell asleep on his desk. When she grabbed the materials for the suit and began working on it, Peter spotted her and offered to help. Inko was a bit embarrassed and she wanted to surprise her son, but accepted the help and together they made the costume! It took some trial and error, but they finally managed to get it right!
After joining with the rest of the group, All Might continued on with the lesson and explained what they'll be doing. But a white armored student, who happens to be Iida, raised his hand and asked.
"Sir, this is the fake city from our entrance exam. Does that mean we'll be conducting urban battles again?"
"NOT QUITE YOUNG IIDA! I'M GOING MOVE YOU TWO STEPS AHEAD! MOST OF THE VILLAIN FIGHTS YOU SEE ON THE NEWS TAKES PLACE OUTSIDE. HOWEVER, STATISTICALLY SPEAKING RUN INS WITH THE MOST DASTARDLY EVIL DOERS TAKE PLACE IN DOORS! THINK ABOUT IT! BACKROOM DEALS, HOME INVASIONS, SECRET UNDERGROUND LAIRS! TRULY INTELLIGENT CRIMINALS STAY HIDDEN IN THE SHADOWS. FOR THIS TRAINING EXERCISE YOU SHALL BE SPLIT OF GOOD GUYS AND BAD GUYS AND FIGHT TWO ON TWO INDOOR BATTLES!"
"Isn't this a little to advance All Might? Ribbit." Asui asked with concern.
"THE BEST TRAINING IS WHAT YOU GET ON THE BATTLEFIELD! BUT REMEMBER CAN'T YOU JUST PUNCH A ROBOT THIS TIME, YOU'RE DEALING WITH ACTUAL PEOPLE NOW!"
The students interrupted All Might and asked him questions about the lesson, which he found annoying as he wasn't done explaining. Honestly he was trying to get this done as quickly as possible since he's on a time limit here! After pulling out a script and explaining rules, it was time to begin the lesson!
For the first combat training battle, it was Team A vs Team D. Peter, and Uraraka, as the heros, against Bakugo, and Iida as the villains. With the combatants set, it was time for battle!
Bakugo looked at Deku in hatred as usual, mostly to intimate him. He was going to put that nerd in his place! And everyone will be watching! Peter looked back at his former bully and glared at him with determination to beat him. He was no longer the helpless kid all those years ago, now, he is a hero in training! He's come this far! No way he'll back down from this! Seeing Deku unfazed made Bakugo pissed off even more! Damn it! He's gonna crush that damn brat for that!
Training ground beta, random building
As the villain team headed inside the building and waited for the signal, Iida spoke out loud about his feelings being a villain.
"Even though this is training, it pains me to be aligned with criminal behavior. But for the sake of it, I must endure." He walked towards the weapon and tapped it. "A fake. Good. I was a bit worried there for a second. It sure does look real!"
"Hey four eyes!" Bakugo shouted, getting the blue haired teen's attention. "Tell me, what do you think of Deku's quirk?"
Iida didn't want to talk to Bakugo, after hearing Midoriya's history with him no one in the group wanted to speak with that monster! All because his new found friend was quirkless! That fiend doesn't belong here! How could U.A. let in such a cruel person like Bakugo! Not wanting to provoke his…'ally', Iida spoke.
"What about it? You saw his performance yesterday, Midoriya did well on that test and placed third. I'd say he deserved to be first place with that unique quirk of his."
"U…nique?" Hearing those made Bakugo see red! Damn him! Damn that nerd and his quirk! His explosion quirk is better than that nerd's quirk! A hundred times better!
Iida smiled. Ok, provoking him was rude and not a good idea, but it did feel good though! Especially towards Bakugo! "Of course! He has the ability to climb walls, has super strength, and great agility! Midoriya the makings of becoming a great hero if given the right training."
Hearing four eyes' words was beginning to piss him off more and more! Adding fuel to his motivation to crush that damn nerd until he was satisfied for him to realize his place!
Outside the building, Peter and Uraraka were looking at the plans for the building and trying to come up with a plan to win against the villains. But seeing the plans it seems this won't be easy.
"Gosh Deku,do you think they expect us to memorize the building's floor plan? I mean look at it! It's huge!"
"Well, the hero's or the police need to come up with a plan in order to take down the villains or criminals with no or less casualties. Especially when it comes to hostages! But I'm pretty sure we'll get to something like that soon, so for now let's do our best and give it our all!"
"Totally! Wow! I'm feeling so pumped now! You sure know how to inspire others Deku!"
"I try my best!" Peter said, shrugging his shoulders. "But remember we're facing against Iida and Bakugo. They have Speed and destructive power, so it's obvious we need to come up with a plan if we wanna win this fight!"
"And I'm assuming you have one right?" Uraraka asked while Peter smiled.
"You bet! Ok, here's the plan!"
After a few moments, All Might's voice was heard from the speakers.
"ALRIGHT, LET'S BEGIN THE INDOOR COMBAT TRAINING! TEAM A, AND TEAM B, YOUR TIME STARTS NOW!"
"Ok, this is it! Uraraka, you ready?" Peter said as he put on his mask.
"I am, but Deku, are you sure about this plan? What if I mess up!" Uraraka felt worried about the plan Deku explained. It was a good plan, but she wasn't sure she'd be able to do it.
"It'll work. Just stay behind me when we head inside and I'll tell you when you can go. I'm counting on you Uraraka!"
The girl was feeling nervous about this, but Deku was counting on her! She can't let him down! She put on her visor helmet and gave her partner a confident look!
"Ok. I'm ready!"
"Alright! Now hop on!" Peter said as he crouched down. Uraraka climbed on his back, then he jumped on the wall and crawled towards the third floor of the building.
After a moment of crawling, the duo made it to their destination and entered inside the window. "Ok, we're in! But be on your guard, they can ambush us anywhere."
"Got it. Right behind you Deku!"
The hero team began to walk around and search the area as quickly, but carefully as they could as time was limited! Peter leads the team as he can sense the danger ahead thanks to his Midoriya tingle, formerly named Peter tingle. Uraraka is the key to winning this fight if it all goes to plan. He just hope that-
*ABOVE YOU!*
"Huh?!" Looking up above, Peter saw Bakugo coming straight towards him and Uraraka! Mostly him! He quickly grabbed Uraraka and jumped out of the way as Bakugo's palm collided with a wall behind them and blew it up!
*Boom*
The explosion destroyed the wall and caused smoke to cover the area! Safely away from the attack, Peter helped his partner back on her feet.
"Uraraka! Are you hurt?!"
"I'm fine!" The girl said shaking off the dizziness. She looked at him and gasped to see his mask was torn. Was he ok?! "Deku! Your face!"
"I'm alright! It's just my mask that was blown off! Dang it! We worked hard on it!"
Bakugo waved his hand and cleared the smoke. He looked at Deku while ignoring the girl and said.
"What's the matter Deku? Afraid to fight me?"
"*Tch* Not at all! Just caught me by surprise! A dirty move, that's just like you Bakugo! And I figured you attacked me first!" ("My Midoriya tingle saved me just now. I was occupied about my plan that I wasn't paying attention!")
Without warning Bakugo charged at Deku and readied his right hand to blow that nerd away! "I'm gonna hurt you so bad they'll have to stop the fight! So stay there and die!"
The pretend villain threw his right hand towards his victim and unleashed his explosion! But…
*Catch*
"W-What the?!" His arm was caught by Deku and easily threw him over his shoulder!
*Crash*
"Gah!"
Witnessing what happened Uraraka cheered.
"Woah! Awesome move Deku!"
Looking at how surprised Bakugo was and wondering how he predicted his attack, Peter answered.
"I bet you're thinking how I caught you by surprise this time? Well it's easy! You always start with a big right hook in fights. I know because I was the one who received them the most!"
Bakugo stood back up and looked at him with anger in his eyes as the nerd continued to speak.
"But I'm not the same person who I was before, now that I've stood up to you back in Aldrea, I've changed! The name Deku, and its meaning has changed too, thanks to a very good friend of mine!" Peter ripped off his ruined mask and looked at Bakugo with a brave look on his face. There was no hint of fear on him! "So from now on, Deku now means 'I can do it'! Which gives the motivation to beat you!"
Uraraka nodded in agreement and was happy that she changed his view on the name, while Bakugo was not too pleased about it.
"Deku…" That nerd really has changed! He remembered the first time he beat him up when they were children in a playground. He bullied some random kid and Deku poorly stood up to him! He was easily taken care of. But now, in front of him, was not the same scrawny weakling kid anymore. "You really gained some balls haven't you? Just looking at you, who's no longer the useless and quirkless loser you were, really pisses me off! But I wonder how long you can keep that bravery? Let's find out!"
Bakugo placed his hands backwards and fired an explosion behind him, launching him towards his opponent!
Seeing he made his move Peter screamed out to Uraraka!
"Uraraka! Go now!"
She didn't want to leave Deku behind, but they have an objective to complete and a plan to follow! Taking one last look at him, Uraraka ran away and continued the search for the bomb!
Bakugo launched a kick at Deku only for it to be blocked! Peter grabbed his leg and threw him away! He could've used the capture tape All Might gave him and won the fight, however he knew it wasn't going to be easy, he's fighting Bakugo after all! The guy isn't gonna give him any changes!
Using his explosions to stop his flight and land back on his feet, Bakugo was slightly, very slightly impressed. "Hmph! Lucky move Deku! But that ain't gonna stop me!" He prepared to launch himself again like last time and to go for a different attack. Then he heard footsteps. He looked up and saw Deku running away! "Hey! Get back here Deku!"
Bakugo chased Deku, only for him to lose him! How did…? He looked around, the walls, the ceiling, Deku wasn't around! "Grrr! Come out and face me you damn coward!"
Hidden but still nearby, Peter followed Bakugo and witnessed him just angrily running around and screaming his name to fight him. He could easily sneak up behind him or attack from above when he isn't looking and take him out! But where's the fun in that when the angry blonde is making himself look like a fool! Plus he'll tire out soon. And he's so focused on him that Bakugo has completely forgotten about Uraraka! Just as planned! Peter hoped that he would tire out quickly, take him out, and meet up with Uraraka! If that can't happen, then she'll have to fight Iida by herself. As long as she uses 'that', then she'll have a chance of winning!
("Speaking of Uraraka, I wonder how's she's doing?")
Elsewhere in the random building.
Carefully peeking from behind a pillar, Uraraka found the weapon, and Iida is right in front of it and appears to be in his thoughts. Wonder what he's thinking about? Probably some idea on how to keep the weapon safe.
(There it is! Now to tell Deku where I am and wait until he arrives! As soon as he's here, the fight is ours!") Just as she was about to contact her partner, Iida spoke out loud.
"That Bakugo has quite the attitude. He definitely fits the villain role perfectly. I wonder if I should act like a villain? Yes, that's what I need if I'm on the villain side. I'll have to act like one in order to pass this trial and not bring shame to the Iida family name! Ahem. Behold! I am personification of villainy!"
Seeing how ridiculous her friend was acting as a villain, Uraraka couldn't help but laugh at the scene! Which caused Iida to turn and call out her name.
"Uraraka? Is that you?!"
The girl gasped as she accidently gave away her position, shamefully she came out of hiding and revealed herself to her opponent.
"Hehehe, he Iida! Looks like you found me!"
"Indeed I have! For you foolishly have revealed yourself! How clumsily for a hero like you! I also knew you would come here alone the instant Bakugo ran off to battle Midorya! (''Which I am upset about that but relieved that he's not here!") Your quirk allows you to float anything that you touch, which gave me a perfect plan to counter it! By removing every object in this room so you have to way to use them against me you fool! Rendering you at a disadvantage! Muahahahahahah!"
"Wow he's…really into the role isn't he?" While Iida was…'distracted', Uraraka contacted Deku on the radio and updated him on the situation.
With Peter…
"Deku?"
"I'm here Uraraka, everything ok?" Peter whispered on the earpiece.
"Um, yes and no. Iida found me and he's monologuing. The guy is really into it."
"Monologuing huh? Villains do like to hear themselves talk. Where are you?"
"Middle of the fifth floor. Please tell me you've dealt with Bakugo!"
"No sorry, he's still a problem. You'll have to take him on yourself. I wish I could help you out, but I can't! Remember, you have a surprise on your sleeve, literally! Use 'that' to your advantage!"
"Got it! Wish me luck!"
With that the radio went silent, Peter really wanted to help Uraraka and win this match, but if he did, then Bakugo would follow him and that'd cause a big problem! Not only that, the timer is still going! He's certain there isn't much time left! He'll either have to knock Bakugo unconscious, or use the capture tape All Might gave him. But that'll take some time for that to happen and time isn't on his side! Looks like only option is to-
*BEHIND YOU!*
Peter quickly looked behind him and found Bakugo looking at him! He then saw that one of his grenade gauntlets glowed red. That doesn't look good!
"I'm all loaded up."
"The heck does that mean?" Peter asked, but his question was ignored when Bakugo said.
"Ya know I've noticed something, you aren't using those damn web shooters on me. What happened? Technical issues? Ha! It's really pathetic of you Deku!"
"Actually, I decided not to use them since they are really effective against you. I would've beaten you very easily if I wanted to on the first encounter. So why not settle this up close and personal?" Peter countered.
The blonde teen smiled. "Then get over here and show me what you got!"
"As if! Seeing that gauntlet of yours glowed for a second I'd say you're baiting me into attacking you and using that thing against me!"
"You're damn right I am! You know how my quirk, explosion, works right?"
"Of course I do, you secrete nitroglycerin from your hands. I was a victim of it for many years thanks to you. What about it?" Peter hated that quirk. It was the only quirk that he hated after years of being abused by its user. It was thanks to being mentally older and being a former hero in his universe. Katsuki may have power, but he has no responsibility.
"Imagine what I could do if I had a lot of it!" Bakugo pointed his gauntlet at Deku and pulled the pin to reveal a miniature pin. "These gauntlets aren't just for show! They've been storing up my sweat inside for one monster blast!"
All Might's voice spoke from the speakers in the building and shouted.
"Young Bakugo! Stop! You pull that pin, you'll kill him!"
"He'll be fine as long as he dodges!" Ignoring the number one hero's words, Bakugo pulled the pin! From the gauntlet, a huge explosion erupted from his arm and headed straight for Deku!
"Holy sh-"
*Boom*
The explosion was so strong it shook the entire building and created a huge hole in front of it!
Narrowly escaping the blast, which partially destroyed his costume, Peter shook off the ringing from his ears, looked around, and saw how much destruction that blast caused!
"What the- Is that allowed?!"
From the smoke, a laugh was heard and heading and heading towards Peter.
"HAHAHA! These things are freaking awesome! The more nitro sweat stored into these gauntlets, the stronger the explosion!" The remaining gauntlet glowed red, signaling it's ready to use. Bakugo gave Deku an insane look on his face and smiled. "Go ahead and keep fighting Deku, it's pointless! Even if you give me everything you got, you'll never beat me!"
On the fifth floor…
Feeling the entire building shaking for a moment both Iida and Uraraka stood still, what the heck happened?! Wanting answers and worried for Midorya, Iida called out to Bakugo on his ear piece.
"Bakugo, what happened? Answer me! What in blazes did you do?!"
Seeing Iida distracted, Uraraka saw this as a chance to touch the weapon and win! She ran as fast as she could but the white armored 'villain' saw what the hero was doing! He charged towards her to prevent from reaching the objective.
"Not so fast hero! I won't allow you-"
Uraraka removed her wrist equipment and threw them towards Iida, which caught him by surprise as he evaded them. She placed her fingers together, jumped over Iida with the use of her zero gravity quirk and floated in the air! Then in a shocking twist, Uraraka placed her arm out and-
*Thwip*
Web zipped towards the weapon!
"Wooohooo!"
"What in the world?! Since when can she make herself float? And are those Midorya's web shooters? When did she get those!"
While heading straight for the weapon, Uraraka's thoughts were going wild on what she did!
("Wow! These web shooters are amazing! Deku really made these himself? I saw him doing this once and it looks so cool! With these, I can reach the weapon in no time!")
Getting close to her target, Uraraka let go of the web, and returned her gravity to normal to touch the weapon! Suddenly it was moved away by none other than Iida himself! Using his quirk, engine, to increase his speed and to keep the objective from that pesky hero!
As this happened, Uraraka panicked and slammed into the wall she web zipped to. The poor girl fell on her back and ached in pain as her visor helmet comically split in half.
"Ugh…Deku makes this look easy. I should ask for some lessons on these things…"
"Uraraka! Are you alright?" Asked Iida, feeling worried and regretful about what he did. Hey, he had to keep the weapon away from her if he wanted to pass!
"Yeah, just give me a minute here. Ouch! Gonna feel that one in the morning." Uraraka carefully stood back up and faced Iida once more. "Alright, let's go again!"
"Are you sure?"
"Positive!"
Iida nodded. "Very well. *Ahem* An Admirable attempt hero! You caught me by surprise, but you failed to take the weapon! I can easily keep it out of your reach thanks to my speed! So keep trying, if you dare! HAHAHAHA!"
Seeing Iida returning to the role of acting like a villain, Uraraka decided to play along for now. Might as well try out acting like a hero.
"And keep trying I shall! Because heroes never give up! I'll find a way to capture the weapon, save the day, and see you pay for your crimes!" ("Wow, that was really embarrassing! But I have to admit, it's kinda fun!")
"You may try, hero!"
