Thank you to all the readers and reviewers of my story:)

Prompt: Since everyone knew that the White Stag would give wishes if you caught him, there must have been previous chases. What did at least one Narnian plan on wishing for?

When Tumnus was a child, he heard story of a creature with the power that could grant your wishes. This creature was the White Stag and Tumnus dreamt of one day catching this creature. In hopes that his wish would come true.

As a child he thought of how he would wish for a piped flute he could play during the summer festivals. But when the summer was cut short and the winter wind came, he thought he would never see green fields again. The wish for a flute changed to wishing for those summer days. Then it became clear that the winter was here to stay, and his wish would become about his own survival.

Until one day a little girl came and remind him of what Narnia could be again. He could see there was hope for his homeland and his wish went from being about survival to being about freedom. Then when all was said and done, the new kings and queens sat on their thrones and winter was one season again. Tumnus knew he had no need to catch the White Stag. For he felt as though he had all he could wish for.

I was going to add a part about telling Pevensie about the sighting of the White Stage, but that last line seems like a good place to end it. Also, it's a bit of a happier note then being about the Peveise leaving.
