A/N: This Fan Fiction is based on the Galar region and games (Sword/Shield) featuring CanonXOC It is based on the GAMES not the anime/manga. And to clarify confusion (because I know I have written multiple fic based on these games XD ) This is a completely different and separate story from the other Sword/Shield fics I have written. They are not connected and they do not interract.

"I'm telling you, we're lost."

"And I am teeling you, we're not lost!"

They may not be actual siblings. But they still argued like siblings as though they were!

"I grew up in Galar I know my way around!" said Hop.

"You can still get lost even in your home region!" Nouii chuckled.

"But we're not surely...I followed the map and everything." he said, "According to the map Galar Mine should be straight shot on Route 3."

"Well we're on Route 3." said Nouii, "We've been walking straight for hours...are you sure that's right?"

"Yes, Nouii, I am most certain that's right!" Hop huffed, "There SEE!?" he said as he pointed ahead towards what looked like a kind of cave, "I told you I'd find it!"

"After getting us lost..." Nouii giggled.

"We were never lost!" Hop huffed, "Though...the route did look a lot shorter on the map..."

"There's no shame in admitting your lost on your own homeland!" said Nouii, "I grew up in Alola and I'd be lying if I told you I never got lost on the islands!" she stated, "WARNING places on the map may appear a lot closer than they actually are-"

This time they both shared a giggle as they raced their way to the entrance.

"The first Gym Battle in in Turffield Stadium." Hop eplained, "Turffield should be just on the other side of this mine here." he said, "But do be careful...it really is easy to get lost in there."

"It's just straight through, right?" she snickers while the boy gave a twitch.

"Haha you're funny." he chuckled, "But aye...it should be. Straight through."

"So then I'll race you!" Nouii giggled and dashed on through.

"Oi, Nouii! What did I tell you!?" huffed Hop, "It's easy to get lost in there! Not to mention dangerous to run in a mine- Nouii!" he said as he hurried in after her.

" Oh please- How hard can it be to go straight!?" she echoed back.

Sure...Turfield was just straight through Galar Mine. On a map it's plenty easy to see- But what the map didn't state was how exactly to get through Galar Mine... Straight through didn't mention the beds and turns within it.

"I guess I should have listened to Hop after all..." Nouii said to herself softly as she treaded slowly through the tunnels, "We were together just a little while ago..." she mumbled.

But then he disappeared.

I just ran straight... where did HE go?

The walls of the mine were rather interesting at least...they were rough and ragged as she ran her hand along the bumps and grooves while she wandered through at a slower pace...with hopes of Hop being able to catch up to her.

"It looks like there are some gems and such crested in here...that's pretty." she said softly.

"Ke Keke Ke...Kssss~"

"Hm? What's the matter, Drum Stixx?" Nouii blinked as she tried to console her partner with a berry. Since evolving from Grookey, he's gotten a bit bigger. The Monkey could no longer ride on her head so easily, but it does pretty well latching onto her back. As she stepped a few more steps forward however, Drum Stixx began acting strangely...and even started to hiss. Her golden eyes wandered to see if she could try and catch sight of whatever it was that Thwackey was responding too-

And there he was. Just ahead-

"Hey...isn't that the jerk from the event Hall?" she wondered out loud. There was no mistaking it really...that long pink coat was pretty iconic. Cute curly hair and sharp violet eyes with what had to be the longest softest looking eyelashes she had ever seen- he was still really pretty for a guy- even though she hated to admit that. And she certainly wasn't going to say it out loud. Not much further from him seemed to be light.

Could it be she had found her way out of the tunnel?

Though...there was only one obstacle in her way.

"Hmph..." she huffs, "well there's only one way through...he's a competitor too...we were bound to meet again anyway." she scoffs and starts walking her way forward. She was just going to mind her own business and pass through. Perhaps if she just stayed to herself, he would leave her alone.

But of course he didn't.

He heard her and spoke up-

"Coming this way? I would advise against it." he says, and Nouii grants an eye roll.

She may as well come out from the shadows now.

"Or what?" she spits back, arms folded with her hips cocked to the side. Her Thwackey very much monkeying the same arm gesture, "There's only one way out and you're standing in front of it. Mind moving aside?"

"Oh, it's you..." he says softly stepping a little towards her with a smirk. "Plucky." he scoffs, "You're the challenger that was endorsed by the Champion, aye?" he asked, "You and that...brother...of yours?" he pondered a moment, "What was your name again? Noisy? Or something?"

Her eyes narrowed.

"It's Nouii." she said in a low tone.

"Hm. Well, no matter~" He hums waving a hand dismissively, "It's all a joke anyway!"

"What do you mean by that exactly?" She asked with a slight hint of irritation.

"You are aware that the chairman is more important than the Champion, right?" he asks her with a shrug of his shoulders.

"What does that have to do with anything? We're both here anyway!"

"Hmph you really are Plucky aren't you, Bright eyes?" he smirked.

"Wh- bright eyes?"

No Nouii, you are not going to blush at his compliment which is clearly aimed to be an insult, he's a jerk and you are going to treat him like the jerk he is!

She huffs.

She wasn't sure if he had heard her or not...or maybe he could see that he actually did get to her. Who was to say...but he smirked either way.

"Very well...I guess I will just have to clearly show you the difference between us!"
