Chapter 5: Root of the Problem

Pridmoor Village (Prison Area) / 3:00pm
Inside of the prison area of the village, a young woman and two males were sitting on the benches and were wearing the usual black-stripped prison uniforms that said PRIDMOOR VILLAGE PRISON on the back of them. The younger looking male and female where the P.O.U.R. spies and the other older one was Knight Perces's son Rowan.
Rowan sighed and replied, "Where's my dad with our lunch? I'm getting really hungry."
The girl then replied, "Be patient, Rowan. He should be here soon as long as that moron Keith allows us to even have food! Really do hate that jerk."
The guy put his arm around her and he replied, "So do I, Jenna. We'll get out of here soon, hon. We will."
She smiled as the door opened up and Knight Perces lead the girls and Riley inside and Rowan got up and replied, "Dad, what is this about?"
Perces nodded as he opened the cell door and he replied, "Bandit Keith was defeated by our new friend Maddie here and our precious village was released from his grasp as well. The only way they'll let us stay out of trouble from the Order is if we join them and help serve this village and it's people, son."
His son nodded and replied, "Anything is better then working for that jerk Bandit Keith!"
He turned to the kids and replied, "I don't know how to thank you for all of this, you three."
Emmie smiled and replied, "You don't owe anything. Just lead us to where they have those vault passes and we'll be good to go."
The three former jailers all sighed at that and Riley groaned and replied, "We're not going to like this. What happened to them?"
Jenna then replied, "Let me answer that. They heard about those vault passes and they were only three of them and they decided to have a more secure place to watch at it, so Keith's other cronies brought the passes to Pridmoor Keep and the passes are locked up in King Knight's personal area, but they left the maps of Pridmoor Keep on the desk in the other room."
Riley sighed and replied, "So damn close to getting those passes back. We know where to go first now. Let's head back to the bunker now and tell my father everything we know after we grab that map."
The gang all nodded and then Riley looked at Perces and replied, "Until things are sorted out, you and Rowan are now in charge of the village for the time being, Perces. Do what you have to do to get everything running again."
The father & son nodded as they went to grab the map of the keep.

A small house 10 miles east of Pridmoor Village / 7:00pm
After losing the duel and escaping quickly, Keith found a abandoned house far away from the village. He found some small cans of food and bottles of water. They was no working plumbing or electricity in the small hut and he was outside and sitting in front of a fire he made a few minutes ago.
He sighed and replied, "I can't believe I lost that damn duel to a Wolf Unicorn deck. I had the best machines in that deck and I still was defeated! Damn, damn, damn!"
Suddenly, a dark portal appeared and Black Knight walked through it and he replied, "Evening, Keith. I heard you lost the village for the Order."
"Don't give me crap about it, Black Knight. I'm no mood to hear about from you!", Keith said with a sneer.
The knight let out a laugh and Keith groaned and replied, "That really is a irritating laugh."
"Everyone tells me that that hears it. The Enchantress wanted me to look for you and bring you back to her."
The former champion groaned and replied, "If you must, do so. I'll be in a miserable dungeon for 3 days."
"There is a way out of it, my tall friend. You duel with a better deck and a deck of some of the rarest machine monsters in the game! The enchantress had her card creator make these cards for your use only and if you get a win and capture one of those brats with it as well."
"May I ask why she's being so nice to me?"
The knight nodded and replied, "Fair enough question, Keith. He just wants to see if these cards are good enough for the best machine duelist ever. If you win, you might get your old body and champion status back as well if you do win. I don't know if she can do so, but it's a possibility."
Keith then replied, "I can't refuse that offer, Black Knight. Lead me there."
The knight nodded and replied, "Wise move there, Keith. Time to go."
A dark portal appeared and as he and Black Knight walked through it, the abandoned hut erupted into flames from the inside as the portal vanished from sight.

Back at the P.O.U.R. underground bunker, the gang was in he meeting room. Even with the village in their hands, the main members of the group decided to stay downstairs in the bunker until they had full protection of the village.
Lord Pridmoor sighed and replied, "We may not have the passes right now, but at least we have the maps and village under our control now."
The kids nodded as Manda looked through her deck and she smiled and replied, "This deck is so amazing."
Lord Pridmoor nodded and replied, "You are a really noble young lady, Manda. You duel with heart and to remember someone you knew and loved is really amazing in my eyes. I think your grandpa would be so proud of you right now."
Chris then replied, "Awesome. Where should we had for first, sir?"
Pridmoor and Riley looked at the maps and Riley nodded and replied, "Sir, they should try to go after King Knight in our former home first, dad. We've been wanting to go after him for months now and this is our perfect time to strike and then we can finally get our passes back."
"You always had the best plans, son."
Emmie then replied, "Guys, I want to duel him myself. My Rock deck will destroy anything he sends my way."
The others nodded and Lord Pridmoor then replied, "Sounds good to me, son. You can do it. Come get some dinner and relax for the rest of the night.

Inside of her room, Emmie was going over her real deck. She only used the Dragon deck in the tournament and the deck she wanted to use was a deck that she uses in non tournament duels. Her and Jordan
She smiled and replied, "I can't wait to use this deck tomorrow. My girlfriend and my cousin will be surprised to see what I use."
She gathered the cards up and placed them on her nearby desk and she turned her lights out and went to sleep.

Pridmoor Keep Throne Room / 10:30pm
Pridmoor Keep is a beautiful castle with many rooms, a garden area, gym area and sauna area as well. It took over 10 years to finish the golden castle for Lord Pridmoor and his sons. After his wife passed on due to cancer, she was buried in a small private grave plot in the main grounds of the castle. After King Knight took over the castle, he mad little or no changes to the whole castle and even respected the gravestone of Pridmoor's passed on wife and told his guards to leave it alone or they would face consequences. Inside of his throne room, he sat on a beautiful jeweled golden chair. He was a tall gold armored knight that used a scepter and he also had a red cape for his outfit as well. Behind him a gold armored knight by the name of Knight Haris was behind him and was his personal bodyguard. It was late at night and he couldn't sleep at the moment.
The knight walked up to him and he replied, "You doing okay, master King Knight?"
The knight nodded and replied, "I'm quite fine right now, Haris. Thank you for all the help you've given me in the past few days."
"Anything for you, my king.", the Knight said with a smile.
Suddenly, a small red alarm-like noise was heard in his room and Haris then replied, "Another message from The Enchantress, sir."
He nodded as a pushed a button on his chair and a large television screen came out of the nearby wall and the Enchantress was standing there with Black Knight right by his side and King Knight then replied, "Evening, my queen. What do you need?"
The enchantress resumed, "First of all, how is everything in the keep?"
"Quiet well, actually. Haris and his three henchmen have made my living area much better then before."
"Glad to hear that. You better be ready for anything. Those descendants of those former heroes are heading to the keep for your key and the vault passes Bandit Keith gave your keep to keep a hold of. Did you get the cards you wanted for that deck of yours?"
The knight nodded to her and she resumed, "Do not lose to those kids, King Knight. We can't afford to lose the key or those passes. Did your newest duelist arrive earlier?"
The knight nodded and replied, "Yes, Enchantress. He's ready to duel and with the cards in his deck, he'll be ready to defend the outside of the Keep."
"Good to hear. Good night to you and don't mess this up for us!"
The screen went dark and it went back into the wall and King Knight then replied, "I Can't wait for our duelist to destroy any of their damn decks!"

The Next Day
Outside of Pridmoor Keep / 10:30am
The kids were outside of Pridmoor Keep and Riley went with them again. It was a large wooden gate that was closed up tightly.
Chris then replied, "Open up, already! We want in!"
Suddenly, the door slowly opened up and a tall ninja wearing a red garb and wielding a golden pipe-like weapon walked out with a duel disk on his arm(ATK: 1,800) and Maddie then replied, "That's Goe Goe the Valiant Ninja."
The spirit looked at the kids and he replied, "You are the kids me and my boss need to capture. Who wants to duel against my boss King Knight?"
Emmie raised his hand and the chef knight nodded and replied, "He's having breakfast now. Wait for about 20 minutes and he'll be ready to go."
The kids sighed as the waited outside as the large door began to close.

Inside of the King Knight's throne room, he was busy having a breakfast (That was on a large red table in front of him). He was having a lobster & crab benedict with a side of fruit (Mostly apples and grapes because those were his favorite) and some coffee to drink. He had his helmet up for a minute so he can eat the amazing meal. Sitting at the table with him was Knight Haris and he was eating a bagel sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese in it with a bottle of orange juice for drinking. They had another knight by the name of Knight Corlyn and she was a fantastic knight and a great cook. There was a large screen nearby that showed off the courtyard the kids were waiting in.
King Knight took another bite of his breakfast and he smiled and replied, "This is really really good food. Remind me to praise Knight Corlyn on our breakfasts later, Perces."
The knight nodded as he finished his sandwich and then they both heard knocking at the door and Perces sighed and replied, "Everytime you want to eat, something like this happens. You can come in."
The door opened up and Goe Goe was there and he replied, "Those three ladies are here now and they want to duel against you, Sir King Knight."
The knight sighed and replied, "Every damn time We try to have a good meal, this happens! Do you have anything that'll help us out."
The Ninja nodded and replied, "I have a idea, sir. My duelist apprentice is here and let's make them face her in a duel and if they beat her, they can face you tomorrow and if they lose, they can't face you until she's defeated in a duel."
"Really good plan there, kid. Go into your Knight Trelles disguise and allow yourself to head out there with her to the and tell them everything we agreed on, Goe Goe."
He nodded and then quickly left and the gold knight sighed and replied, "I really hope this duelist of his can actually do something right for a chance."
Perces sipped down his orange juice and replied, "If not, we could just sent her to the mulching area behind the castle gardens, my lord."
They both laughed as they both continued to eat their breakfast while watching the kids wait in the courtyard area.

Inside of the main courtyard of Pridmoor Keep, Emmie was waiting for King Knight to arrive. Riley and the other ladies were right behind her.
Manda looked around and she nodded and replied, "What a beautiful castle this is."
Riley sighed and replied, "Me and my brother used to duel all the time in this courtyard and loved every minute of it. There is a court-style duel arena that only the leader of the Keep can duel in. I miss being here right now. Our mother Martha is buried in a private plot near the garden area of the castle."
As the girls nodded to him, the front doors opened up and a beautiful plant-like woman wearing a duel disk made of plants and roots walked out (ATK: 1,200) and there was a bronze-armored knight as well and as the doors closed up and Jordan saw then replied, "That's a Rose Princess."
Emmie looked at them both and replied, "Where is King Knight? We're here to duel for the key and passes!"
The knight replied, "Greetings, young ones. I'm Knight Trelles, one of King Knight's most loyal knights. If you want to face him in a duel, you must do something first."
She pointed at the Spirit and resumed, "You must defeat our Rose Princess in a duel first. If you win, you can duel him another time and if you lose, you won't get another duel against our leader until you defeat her first."
The spirit looked at her and replied, "You'll never beat my strong deck, kid. Don't even try to think you'll defeat me."
Emmie sighed and then she nodded and then replied, "Fine with me. Let's get duel on already."
As the knight and others found a nearby wooden stand to sit on, the two duelists activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Rose Princess LP: 8000) - (Emmie LP: 8000)
Emmie then replied, "I'll start this duel off. I'll set a monster and that'll be all."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "I play Foolish Burial first."
The spell appeared and she took a monster and discarded it and then reshuffled and resumed, "I now summon my Grass Phantom."
As she sat the card down, a strange shrub-like plant appeared with a sad moan and many tendrils going around the sad plant (ATK: 1,000 - 1,500).
"It gains 500 attack for each Phantom in my graveyard like the one I just discarded, kid. Destroy her facedown monster."
The tendrils shot out and the girls watching were puzzled to see it wasn't a dragon, but a fiendish creature with a rhino-like had and bladed weapon to appear on the card (DEF: 900) and the tendrils wrapped around and one squeeze, the Fiend shattered into a cloud of grey dust and the bladed weapon shattered against the ground and Emmie nodded and replied, "When my Fiendish Rhino Warrior is destroyed, I Can discard any Fiend monster from my deck to the graveyard."
She took a card from her deck and sent to the graveyard and then Manda looked puzzled and replied, "When I watched that duel from Alabama down here, she used a Dragon deck. What is this deck?"
Jordan then replied, "I'm not even sure myself."
Emmie looked at the girls and replied, "I've always used my Dragon deck during my tournament duels only. This is my true deck, lades. It's taken me a long time to make it just right and with the cards I won from the tournament and cards I had stored in my room. it was all ready to go and I'm using it now. It's a really strong deck and I'll show you all how good it is. Sorry to keep this a secret from you, babe."
Jordan smiled and replied, "It'll take more then that to make me mad with you, Ems. Go in and prune this plant."
She smiled at her and then turned to the Spirit and it resumed. "Dragon deck or no dragon deck, I'll defeat in anyway I can, kid. I'll end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "I start with Shard of Greed."
"I now summon my Opticlops!"
As she sat the card down, a one-eyed Fiend with a single horn on his forehead appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Destroy her monster!"
The Fiend charged and rammed its horn onto the plant and it let out a weak sad moan before it withered down and then shattered to bits (Rose Princess LP: 7700).
"Gotcha there, lady. I end my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and green glob of light appeared and flew into her Spell (Greed Counters: 0 - 1) and then she resumed, "I'll summon my Gil Garth!"
As she sat the card down, the armored Fiend with a giant katana appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Opticlops, attack!"
The fiend charged in and a strange tree with a lion-like face on the front of it appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) and the Fiend rammed into it, smashing it into wooden splinters and Rose Princess resumed, "When my Baobaboon is destroyed in battle, I can Special Summon any number I want from my deck and I'm only going with one."
As she sat another card down, a 2nd of the strange plants appeared (DEF: 1,000).
"When a Baobaboon is Normal or Special Summoned, I Can draw a card and take one I don't need and place it at the top or bottom of my deck."
She drew a card and then she took a spell called Miracle Fertilizer and slid it below her deck and she resumed, "Didn't need that one right now anyway."
Emmie nodded and she pointed as the Fiend went and slashed at the large tree with the giant cleaver, splitting it right down the middle with its cleaver. The two halves of the strange plant turned to dust as they struck the ground.
"Lucky move. I End my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and she opened her Field Slot and replied, "I activate my Sacred Garden of Roses!"
As she slid the card into the slot and it closed up, the courtyard turned into a large beautiful garden with trees, flowers and growing vegetables all around everyone and the ones watching were now sitting on a large moss-covered rocks and Manda looked around and she nodded and replied, "What a beautiful Field Spell this is."
"Now, I summon my Botanical Lion."
As she sat the card down, a large wooden plant-like lion with a mane made of flowers appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 2,100).
"I now use his effect. If I Normal Summon a Plant monster while I control no other monsters, I can now make a 2nd Summon as long as it s a Plant monster with a base attack lower then my Lion and I'm going with my Botanical Lion with my final Grass Phantom!"
As she sat the card down, another of the sad moaning shrubs appeared (ATK: 1,000 - 2,200) - (ATK: 2,100 - 2,400) and Emmie sighed and replied, "This could be trouble."
"You're right about that one! Lion, attack!"
The large lion flew in and slashed at the metalized Fiend and claw marks appeared in its armor before it finally dropped its weapon and exploded into black shards.
"Phantom, your turn!"
The strange Plant shot out its vine-like tendrils again and wrapped around the Fiend and then crushed its target into pixels (Emmie LP: 7000).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and a 2nd green glob of light flew into the Spell (Greed Counters: 1 - 2). replied," I'll send my Spell away to draw twice since it has two counters now."
The spell faded away and she drew twice and then she resumed, "I'll now set a monster and a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "Phantom, attack!"
It shot out the tendrils again and a Skull Knight #2 appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the tentacles wrapped around and crushed it to pieces.
"Direct attack!"
The the large lion went in and she smiled and replied, "I'll discard my Kuriboh to stop you from damaging me any more this turn!"
As she quickly discarded the card, a wall of the loveable Fiends that Yugi Muto made famous appeared and the Lion slashed at them and only a few of them burst apart as the Lion returned back to his side of the field.
"Lucky move, lady. I End my turn now."
She drew a card and replied, "Time to summon something cool. I summon my Archfiend Soldier!"
As he sat the card down, the evil foot soldier appeared (ATK: 1,900) and Manda nodded and replied, "One of the best Level 4 Normal monsters in the game. Great choice, cous."
"Thanks, Cous. I now activate my Charge into Dark World!"
The spell appeared.
"I can Special Summon any Level 4 or lower Fiend monster from there now and then I have to discard a Fiend."
Opticlops reappeared (ATK: 1,800) and then she discarded a card and then she resumed, "I now activate my Flames of the Archfiend Spell Card!"
The Spell appeared.
"Since I control a Fiend monster, this card destroys a Field Spell card you control and then we take 1000 damage and all non Fiend monsters lose 1000 attack."
Suddenly, the whole garden caught on fire and it all collapsed into ash, returning them all to the courtyard (ATK: 2,200 -1,000) - (ATK: 2,400 - 1,200) - (Rose Princess LP: 6700) - (Emmie LP: 6000).
"Now, I activate my facedown Metaverse to get my Yami from my deck!"
The trap appeared and she took the classic Field Spell Card and as she quickly activated it, the arena turned into a large dark void (ATK: 1,900 - 2,100) - (ATK: 1,800 - 2,000) and Jordan smiled and replied, "Boo, you're doing great!"
"Thanks, hon. Soldier, chop up her Phantom!"
The Fiend rushed and like what Emmie just said, he sliced and diced the Phantom to pieces (ATK 1,200 - 900).
"Opticlops, attack!"
The ogre rushed and rammed into the Lion, blowing it into a pile of leaves and splinters of wood (Rose Princess LP: 4900).
"Gotcha there, lady! I end my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "I activate my own MST!"
The spell appeared and the FIeld Spell and dark void were all blown away (ATK: 2,100 - 1,900) -(ATK: 2,000 - 1,800).
"I now summon my Rescue Rabbit!"
As she sat the card down, the small rabbit with a pair of goggles appeared (ATK: 300).
"I'll banish her to Special Summon two Bean Soldiers from my deck!"
As the small bunny winked and then burrowed into the ground and out of sight, the two large bean soldiers appeared (ATK: 1,400 x2).
"I now overlay my 2 Level 4 Earth monsters!"
Both plant monsters began to glow as they turned into small brown orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! I summon a mighty king of the forest that has many subjects to help him with the power he has inside! I Xyz Summon my Fairy King Albverdich!"
As he sat the card down, a handsome fairy-like Plant lord appeared (ATK: 2,300).
"I use his ability now. I remove a Xyz Material monster and then all of your non earth monsters lose 500 attack!"
As she took one of the Soldiers and discarded it, Both Fiends groaned as vines started wrap around their legs (ATK: 1,900 - 1,4000 -(ATK: 1,800 - 1,300).
"Destroy her Opticlops!"
The vines came out of the group and wrapped around it and gave a hard squeeze of the vines and then it shattered to pieces (Emmie LP: 5000).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Soldier to defense and then I"ll set a new monster facedown and I'll set a card as well and that'll end my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "You won't beat me! I summon my Staysailor Romarin."
As she sat the card down, a young plant-like girl wearing a beautiful blue dress appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Lets do it. Fairy King, attack!"
He glowed as the vines went and crushed the Solider into small black fragments.
"Staysailor, attack!"
She smiled as a burst of blue pollen shot out and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the pollen reduced it to powder & pebbles and they both discarded their hands (Rose Princess had 2 left and Emmie had 1 of her own) and then she discarded both cards and both drew 5 cards and she resumed, "You'll never win this duel, kid! I end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "I activate my Silent Doom."
Suddenly, Gil Garth appeared and knelt (DEF: 1,200).
"I tribute it for my Summoned Skull!"
As the Fiend fadad away into pixels, the mighty winged Skeleton used by Yugi Muto in his dueling days appeared (ATK: 2,500) and Manda nodded and replied, "What a strong monster."
"One of my favorite cards. Destroy his Fairy King with Lightning Strike!"
The wings and arms of the huge FIend glowed as a huge burst of lightning shot out and struck the Xyz monster and it moaned as it dissolved into particles of light (Rose Princess LP: 4700).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "Darn it. I'll switch Romarin to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "Can you handle my Gurellia Kite?"
As she sat the card down, a strange kite-like Fiend with small explosives near the sides of it appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Lets do it. Gruellia KIte, attack!"
The Fiend smiled evily as the spike spheres flew into its mouth and then it fired and they shot out and exploded, blowing Romarian to pieces.
"Summoned Skull, attack!"
The lightning attack shot out and a strange creature that looked a plant with a tomato for a head were a colored nightgown appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and the lightning attack fried it to a crisp and Rose Princess sighed and replied, "When my Cherry Inmato is destroyed in battle, I can Special Summon up to two Inmato monsters from the deck and I'm only going with one and that's my Inmato."
As she sat the card down, another tomato-headed creature with a black-chained ball attached to his leg appeared (DEF: 800).
"Okay, that is a strange monster. Your move now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "I summon my Tomato in Tomato!"
As she sat the card down, a strange cup-like device appeared and a small tomato popped out of it (ATK: 1,000).
"When I Normal Summon one, I can Special Summon another one!"
As she sat the card down, another of the strange tomato creatures appeared (ATK: 1,000).
"I overlay my 3 Level 3 monsters!"
All of her monsters turned into glowing orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! A mighty king of vegetables big and small attacks with nothing but brute force! I Xyz Summon the Tomato King!"
As she sat the card down, a strange Xyz appeared. It looked like a large floating tomato with a flower-like face with vine-like tentacles with small tomatoes at the end of each one (ATK: 1,600) and Manda sighed and replied, "These monsters are so strange looking."
"I use a Xyz Material monster to double my monsters atttack power until the start of my next turn!"
As he took a Tomato in Tomato and discarded it, the huge Xyz began to glow (ATK: 1,600 - 3,200).
"Destroy his Summoned Skull!"
The vines of the vines shot out and slammed into the Skull and it let out a roar before it exploded into black shards (Emmie LP: 4300).
"There you go! I End my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my monster to defense and then I'll set a new monster and that'll end my turn now."
The Xyz stopped glowing (ATK: 3,200 -1,600) and then she drew a card and replied, "I summon my Rose Lancer!"
As she sat the card down, a flower woman covered in rose-covered armor while using a Lance for a weapon (ATK: 1,700).

As she took a 2nd Tomato in Tomato and discarded it, the plant Xyz glowed (ATK: 1,600 - 3,200).
"Paladin, attack!"
The plant warrior charged in and a fiendish kite appeared on the card (DEF: 300) and she slashed with her lance, ripping the fiendish kite to pieces (Emmie LP: 2600) and small explosions happened around her (Rose Princess LP: 4200) and she resumed, "I knew about that ability. King, attack!"
The Xyz shot it vine arm out and a large red and black lamp appeared on the card (DEF: 1,400) and the vine shot out and smashed it to bits and then Emmiie then repleid, "When my Dusk Lamp is flipped up, I Can Special Summon a La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp or a Lord of Lamp."
As she sat the card down, the genie used by Seto Kaiba in his days appeared with a chuckling laugh (ATK: 1,800).
"Your Fiends won't beat me! I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "I activate Allure of Darkness and I Chain Emergency Provisions!"
She drew 2 cards and then she took a Lillith, Lady of Lament and banished it and she drew 2 cards and then he glowed (Emmie LP: 3600) and then she resumed, "I activate Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Gurellia Kite appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now summon my Archfiend Soldier!"
As she sat the car down, another of the evil footsoldiers appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I tune my Fiend with my La Jinn!"
The evil kite glowed as it split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through La Jinn, which turned into 4 white stars (*3 + *4 = *7).
"A evil king attacks with swift fiery attacks of pure evil and true power! This creature will destroy anything in his way! Synchro Summon! From the Underworld, Chaos King Archfiend!"
As he sat the card down, a huge Fiend with large fiery arms appeared (ATK: 2,600).
"My Kite hit the graveyard."
Two small explosions happened around her (Rose Princess LP: 3700) and then he resumed, "Time to fight. Archfiend Soldier, attack!"
The fiend went in and slashed at the Paladin and she groaned and exploded into a burst of rose petals.
"When my Chaos KIng Archfiend attacks, the attack and defense scores of its target switch!"
The Fiend rushed in and it glowed (ATK: 3,200 - 800) and the Synchro went and slashed at the huge Xyz and it glowed before it exploded into a shower of red pulp & sauce (Rose Princess LP: 1700) and Jordan smiled and replied, "This deck is so cool. I think she should would of won the tournament with this deck."
"Take that! I End my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "I activate my Xyz Gift of Gold."
The spell appeared.
"With this card, I can banish 2 Xyz monsters with different ranks and names and then I can draw 2 cards."
He took both his Fairy King Albverdich and his Tomato King and she drew 2 cards and then she resumed, "I now summon my Lonefire Blossom!"
As she sat the card down, a plant with a large bulb appeared (ATK: 400).
"I tribute it for my Talaya, Princess of Cherry Blossoms!"
As she sat the car dodwn, the princess of cherry blossoms appeared (ATK: 2,800 - 2,900).
"Lets do it. Destroy his Synchro!"
She swung her fan as a burst of flower petals shot out and struck, striking the Synchro and blowing it to little pieces (Emmie LP: 3300) and then Rose Princess smiled and replied, "I activate my Blossom Bombardment!"
The trap appeared and a huge bolt of energy shot out and slammed into her (Emmie LP: 700).
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Emmie drew a card and replied, "I activate Spellbooks from the Pot."
Both drew 3 cards and then he resumed, "I'll switch my Soldier to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and a card facedown that'll end my turn now."
Rose Princess drew a card and replied, "I Summon my Jerry Beans Man!"
As she sat the card down, the jellybean warrior appeared (ATK: 1,750 - (ATK: 2,900 - 3,000).
"Lets do it. Talaya, attack!"
A burst of flower petals shot out and struck, blasting the Soldier into triangles
"Jerry Beans Man, attack!"
The plant warrior went in and a fiendish with wings and a tail appeared (DEF: 2,000) and the Jerry slashed at her and nothing happened (Rose Princess LP: 1450) and Emmie smiled and repleid, "I guess your Plant's power is weaker then my Alice, Lady of the Lament's defense, plant girl."
"Darn it. I end my turn now."
Jordan drew a card and replied, "I tribute my Alice for my Caius the Shadow Monarch!"
As she smiled evily and vanished into dark particles, the demonic monarch appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Now, I can banish one of your cards."
The eyes of the FIend as two beams of dark light and it shot out and pierced through Talaya and she completely vanished into particles.
"Next, I equip my Caius with Black Pendant."
The small dark pendant appeared around her neck (ATK: 2,400 - 2,900).
"Destroy his Jerry Beans Man!"
He began to glow and then he quickly replied, "I activate Bark of Dark Ruler and I'll drop 600 lifepoints and you're also finished!"
Rose Princess looked worried as she glowed (Emmie LP: 100) and the soldier glowed (ATK: 1,750 - 1,150) as two beams of dark light shot out and cleaved through the plant solider like a cutting laser. It groaned as it burst into small white fragments and they shot out and slammed into the Spirit (Rose Princess LP: 0) and Manda smiled and replied, "What a deck she uses."
The princess began to glow and the knight looked at her and replied, "To the Enchantress for you."
She sighed and vanished into particles of light and the Knight looked at her and replied, "Come by tomorrow for your duel, kids. He'll want to duel someone other then her."
She turned around and left and then Riley replied, "Let's head back, ladies."
They all quickly left.

Banish 2 Xyz monsters with different names and Ranks from your GY; Draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Xyz Gift of Gold" per turn.
Sacred Garden of Roses / Field Spell Card
Image: A beautiful garden filled with various kinds of roses and watching the garden is a Fallen Angel of Roses and a Queen Angel of Roses. In the middle of garden is a statue of Black Rose Dragon.
Plant and "Rose Dragon" monsters gain 200 ATK & DEF and their Summons cannot be negated. You can only use the following effects of "Sacred Garden of Roses" once per turn.
- While this card is faceup on the field and you Tribute Summon or Synchro Summon a Plant monster, draw 1 card. if it was a Level 7 or higher Plant monster and if the Tribute or Synchro Summoned monster was a Level 7 or higher Plant or "Rose Dragon" monster, draw 2 cards and then take 1 card from your hand and place at the bottom of your deck.
- If you control no other cards and you Normal Summon a Plant monster, you can make a 2nd Normal Summon as long as it is a non-tuner Plant or "Rose Dragon" monster with a lower base ATK then the monster you first Summoned. You cannot Special Summon from your Extra Deck the turn this effect is used.
