~~Hello readers, I'm back with a new chapter.
Bakugan doesn't belong to me.
I only own my original characters.~~
It was now mid afternoon at my house.
I had just came home from the hospital.
My mom was in her bedroom, and Lynn took Pegasus for a walk.
Dan and I were sitting on a couch in the living room.
The Tv played as quiet background noise.
Drago floated in front of us as he scanned the area.
"I love your Bakugan's curiosity," I said to Dan.
"Same here, Drago likes to explore new places. He is fascinated by this world," Dan replied.
I unzipped my backpack and retrieved Preyas.
Preyas opened his eyes and looked at Drago.
Dan gently placed his hand over my Bakugan and greeted. "Hi Preyas, this is Dan Kuso. It's nice to see you again."
Preyas lifted himself into the air and hovered next to Dan while staring at him.
Dan looked down at Preyas and grinned.
"I think Preyas likes you," I said with a smile.
"It sure looks that way," Dan replied.
"Come here Preyas," he said soothingly.
Dan pulled the Aquos closer and embraced him.
My Bakugan closed his eyes.
"I've got you Preyas," Dan assured.
Preyas immediately relaxed on Dan's chest.
I stared at both of them with an adoring expression.
Seeing Preyas be held by my best friend made me feel relieved.
"I'm so glad to know that my Bakugan can trust you. It doesn't surprise me either," I said warmly.
"Me too Sioku, I'm happy to be here for him. Preyas needs all the help and emotional support he can get," Dan replied softly.
Drago looked at me and chimed in. "Pardon me Sioku, how did Preyas feel about being out of his ball form?"
"Preyas was timid at first, but I was able to help him calm down. He stayed out for a few minutes," I answered.
"Preyas definitely belongs with you Sioku. He chose the perfect brawler," Drago said calmly.
"Thank you for the kind words," I replied brightly.
A long period of silence passed by.
Drago and I observed Preyas as he slept peacefully.
The silence was soon broken when Lynn entered the house with Pegasus running beside her.
Drago quickly hid himself inside Dan's pocket.
Preyas woke up and looked at the dog.
Dan gently handed him back to me.
"You're okay Dearest," I assured telepathically.
I slipped the Bakugan into my poket.
Lynn unclipped the leash from Pegasus' collar and then put it away.
Pegasus ran straight toward me and jumped on the couch.
His bushy tail fanned me as he spun around in circles.
"Hi buddy," I said while rubbing him behind his ears.
Dan playfully ruffled the dog's fur.
Pegasus nipped softly at him in return.
He then laid down in Dan's lap.
I grinned at Dan and said. "Awe, my dog really likes you. I have a feeling that you two will become best friends in the near future."
Dan smiled back as he petted the dog softly.
"My dog Drago lays on me all the time," he replied.
Pegasus closed his eyes and fell asleep.
"Hello Lynn, did you enjoy your walk with Pegasus?" I greeted.
"I did until Pegasus started barking at everyone he saw," Lynn answered with slight annoyance.
"Pegasus is crazy," I said before I laughed.
"Hey Sioku, I forgot to tell you something a long time ago. I have a dog named Drago. He is a German Shepherd," replied Dan.
"Wow, really? That's cool," I said with a grin.
"Anyway, what are you two doing?" asked Lynn.
"Not much," I answered briefly.
"Sioku and I have been relaxing here since we arrived at your apartment," Dan added.
"I'll be in my room," Lynn said before she walked away.
I gently lifted Preyas out of my pocket and set him in my lap.
The Aquos Bakugan looked up at me.
"I've got you Dearest," I reassured.
He then shifted his attention to Pegasus.
"You can come out Drago," said Dan.
The Pyrus Dragonoid climbed out of Dan's pocket and hovered next to him.
"Hi Drago, I greeted.
"Hello Sioku, your dog looks peaceful with Dan. Animals really seam to like him," Drago replied.
"My dog follows me everywhere at home," Dan added.
"Pegasus is usually attached to me when I'm here," I said as I rubbed the dog's head.
Pegasus heard noises coming from outside the apartment and woke up.
He let out a low growl while staring at the door.
Both Preyas and I giggled at that.
"Sioku, does your dog always respond to noise?" asked Dan.
"Yes, every single sound will set him off. This dog is very curious and protective," I answered.
"My dog will start barking really loud and wagging his tail whenever he wants to go outside," Dan said before he laughed.
"I would love to meet your dog someday," I replied with a smile of my own.
In the midst of our conversation, Dan's phone began to ring.
Pegasus heard the noise and lifted his head.
I gently rubbed the dog behind his ears.
"Please excuse me Sioku, but I have to take this. My mom is calling," he said politely.
"No problem," I replied briefly.
Dan held the phone up to his ear and greeted. "Hey Mom, what's up?"
"Are you still at the neighbor's house?" asked his mother on the other end.
"Yes, my friend Sioku came home from the hospital today. We are in the living room," Dan answered.
"That's great Dan, I'm glad you were there to support her. I need you to come home and do your chores," She said.
"Okay Mom, I'll be there in a few minutes. Bye," Dan replied before he hung up the phone.
I gently slipped Preyas back into my pocket.
"Hey Dan, is everything all right?" I asked while staring at him.
"Yes, my mom just called to check up on me. She also wants me to go home," he answered.
I pulled him into a hug and said. "I understand, thank you for coming over."
"You're welcome Sioku, I'm so glad you're feeling better. Hopefully we'll meet up again this weekend," Dan replied as he returned the hug.
Dan and I slowly released each other after a few minutes had passed.
"It was nice seeing youagain Sioku," said Drago.
"Same to you Drago," I replied.
Then I lifted Pegasus into my lap.
Pegasus stretched his body and then shook off.
Dan petted Pegasus' back and said. "Hopefully I'll see you later too."
Pegasus wagged his tail in return.
"Do you need any help getting out of the apartment building?" I asked.
"No, but I appreciate the offer. Drago and I will be fine," Dan answered.
I watched as Dan walked out the door with Drago floating beside him.
"Come on Pegasus," I said as I gently nudged him.
The dog immediately hopped off of my lap.
After standing up, I walked into the kitchen with Pegasus following behind me.
Pegasus began to bark as he heard one of the bedroom doors opening.
"Stop that," I scolded quietly.
The dog panted as he ran down the hallway.
"Get back dog," said Kara as she stepped out of her room.
Pegasus ran after her as she entered the kitchen.
"Hi Mother, can I do anything for you?" I greeted with a smile.
Kara looked around and responded. "Hello Sioku, the whole house is still cleane. Where did your friend go?"
"Dan went home a few minutes ago," I answered.
"How are you feeling?" Kara added.
"I feel perfectly fine," I answered.
She then pointed at Pegasus who was sitting patiently by the door.
"That dog might need to go out," she said.
"Pegasus did wake up from a nap before Dan left. I'll take him out," I replied.
"Thank you Sioku," Kara added before she walked into the living room.
I grabbed a leash off of the hook and then clipped it onto Pegasus' collar.
"Let's go outside," I said playfully.
Pegasus ran circles around my legs while panting.
I quickly led him out the door before he could have an accident.
"Sioku, what's going on?" asked Preyas.
"My dog is very hyper because we're going for a walk," I answered before I laughed.
Once outside of the building, Pegasus and I started to walk leisurely down the block.
It felt good to finally have some fresh air.
I slipped deep into my thoughts as we walked.
Fortunately, Pegasus didn't bark at the people who passed by.
I decided to cross the street and visit that same park where Dan and I tried to brawl for the first time.
The park looked just as beautiful as the first time Pegasus and I entered it.
The leaves fluttered in the wind.
Birds chirped in the treetops above.
"This place is just as peaceful as I remembered," I thought.
"I'm glad to know that you are happy again," replied Preyas.
I heard the sound of streaming water and followed it.
A circular stone fountain surrounded by big rocks came into my view as I moved closer to the sound.
I sat down in a patch of soft grass next to the rocks.
Pegasus laid down next to me and let the sun shine down on him.
"Oh wow, that fountain is so pretty. It wasn't here the last time I visited," I said out loud.
"May I please come out and see it?" asked Preyas.
"Of course Love," I answered while pulling him out of my pocket.
Preyas hovered by my side as he stared at the crystal clear water.
"You're right Sioku, this fountain is beautiful. It's a great addition to the park," the Bakugan said.
I totally agree with you," I replied.
Preyas grinned as he saw Pegasus asleep in the grass.
"Sioku, is your dog tired?" he asked curiously.
"Maybe, but Pegasus also loves to sun bathe. He does it near the windows all the time," I answered.
A long period of silence passed between us.
My friends and I relaxed as we listened to the leaf covered tree branches shaking in the wind.
This time that I was spending with Pegasus and Preyas was one of the most wonderful moments of my life.
All of my worries about Mira and Kiera had been temporarily wiped away.
I couldn't have asked for anything better.
My thought process was suddenly interrupted when I spotted a familiar object floating above the water.
"Wo, could that be another Bakugan?" I wondered out loud.
"It most certainly is my lady," the male creature answered in a cheerful tone of voice.
I gasped in awe at the sound of his voice.
It sounded beautiful and laid back.
My cheeks pinked up at the male creature's response.
I just couldn't resist the pleasant aura that radiated off of him.
"My name is Sioku Marie. Who are you?" I greeted with a bright smile.
The merman-like Bakugan floated over to us and stopped at my left side.
A surge of hyper energy flowed through my system as I stared at the Bakugan.
"It's a pleasure to meet you mis Sioku. My name is Aquos Akwimos. I come from a world called Neathia," he answered politely.
"Oh my gosh... another Aquos Bakugan is here. This must be a dream," I thought dreamily.
Akwimos looked at me confused and asked. "What's up mis Sioku? Are you all right?"
I blushed again in response to his voice.
"Oh... um... yes, I'm totally fine. Don't worry about me," I answered in a flustered way.
A brief period of silence passed by.
"I've seen that look before. Sioku, do you have a crush on him?" said Preyas as he stared at me.
My face turned bright red as I replied. "What? No! It's not like that at all!"
Preyas laughed out loud at the sight of my red cheeks.
"I'm glad you find that funny Dearest," I said happily.
I then turned to Akwimos and asked. "Is there a reason why you found me?"
"Yes mis Sioku, I did come here for a specific reason. Your Bakugan needs extra help," the merman answered.
My mind flashed back to Preyas' major brawling incident from the last time that I was at this park.
"Hold on Akwimos, how do you know about my Preyas?" I asked with a look of confusion.
"I was told by another Aquos Bakugan that one of us had been getting mistreated by its brawler. All Bakugan of the same attribute stand up for each other like a family. When one of them is in danger, another comes to assist. Unfortunately, I didn't catch all of the details. I need you to tell me exactly what happened to Preyas," Akwimos explained.
I took a deep breath and then explained in a somber tone. "Akwimos, this story is not a good one. My Preyas has been severely traumatized by his former brawler named Kiera. She is the best friend of my worst enemy. Kiera often bullied and publicly insulted Preyas for being himself. She also forced him to fight two or more stronger Bakugan at once. Preyas is terrified of brawling and wants nothing to do with it. His mental scars caused him to have major trust issues. Preyas is very timid and shy around other people except my friend Dan. He also has paranoia and flashbacks. Two days ago, Kiera said some awful things about Preyas to her best friend at school and bragged about his disappearance."
Akwimos hovered in one spot and remained silent in order to process what he had just heard.
His cheerful expression instantly changed into one of deep concern.
"Are you okay Akwimos?" I asked softly.
"Mis Sioku, I am shocked beyond words. No Bakugan should ever be treated that way by anyone. Everything that Preyas' former brawler did to him is unforgivable," he answered sadly.
"You speak the truth Akwimos, I know exactly how you feel. A major incident happened with Preyas at this park two days ago. My friend Dan and his Pyrus Dragonoid tried to have a friendly brawl with Preyas and me. Unfortunately, Preyas freaked out as soon as I sent him out of his ball form for the first time. The sight of his full sized opponent petrified him. I tried reassuring him but to no avail. Preyas didn't move from his spot on the arena. He wouldn't respond whenever I talked to him. Dan turned off the battle arena which caused both Bakugan to revert to their ball forms. Preyas ended up having a major panic attack. Luckily, I was able to calm him down before my dog and I left the park," I explained.
"Mis Sioku, how long have you known Preyas?" he asked curiously.
"Preyas and I have been friends for three days now. This Bakugan is emotionally attached to me. I enjoy helping and taking care of him. He is the best thing that ever happened to me," I answered proudly.
Akwimos grinned at me and said in a happier tone of voice. "Mis Sioku, I am glad to know that Preyas has a true brawler who will treat him with real kindness and respect. Thank you so much for rescuing him."
The sincerity in Akwimos' voice made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
I pulled the other Bakugan into a tight hug and replied. "You're very welcome Akwimos, Preyas has changed my life. I am always proud to call him both my guardian Bakugan and my best friend."
Akwimos nuzzled into my chest and said. "Mis Sioku, I have a request. May I please tag along with you and Preyas? I can help him start brawling again."
Preyas timidly hid behind me as he listened to Akwimos' offer.
I held the new Bakugan close and replied softly. "Akwimos, I would love to have you here with us. Also, my Preyas needs all the help he can get. Thank you for being our friend."
Preyas looked at me with a fearful expression and chimed in. "Pardon me Sioku, but brawling lessons will not be necessary. I never want to brawl again."
"I understand how you feel right now Preyas, but you need to conquer this fear eventually. Akwimos and I don't expect you to do that overnight," I said smoothly.
"Mis Sioku and I will be there for you every step of the way," Akwimos added.
We were only met with silence.
I slowly released my hold on Akwimos.
"Preyas, I apologize if akwimos and I upset you. Please try to understand that we only want to help you come out of your shell," I said gently.
"Mis Sioku and I will not force you to do anything," Akwimos assured.
Preyas lifted his head and replied hesitantly. "Please forgive me for being afraid, but I don't think I can handle brawling just yet. I can't even watch a brawl without freaking out."
"Oh my goodness, Preyas, is your fear of brawling really that serious?" asked Akwimos with a stunned expression.
Preyas only nodded in response.
Another long period of silence passed by.
Akwimos caught sight of Pegasus and asked. "Mis Sioku, who is that?"
I petted the sleeping animal's back softly and answered. "This cute little knucklehead right here is my dog Pegasus. He is my hyperactive and furry companion."
"That dog looks really fluffy," Akwimos commented as he stared at Pegasus.
"Preyas already loves him," I said with a bright smile.
"I don't blame him one bit," Akwimos replied.
I checked the lock screen on my phone and noticed that a half hour had passed by.
"Would you two like to go home?" I asked my two Bakugan friends.
"I wouldn't mind," answered Preyas.
"Cool is the rule mis Sioku," Akwimos added joyfully.
I couldn't help but giggle at the new Bakugan's answer.
"Akwimos you're adorable," I complemented with admiration.
I lightly tugged on Pegasus' leash and said. "Come on Pegasus, it's time to go."
The dog woke up and stretched.
He then shook off in order to keep himself awake.
I slipped both Bakugan into my pockets and then proceeded to lead Pegasus out of the park.
On my way back home, I decided to talk more with Akwimos.
"Hey Akwimos, do you have the ability to communicate through telepathy?" I asked curiously.
"I sure do, but I haven't had anyone to talk to yet. You're my first human friend," Akwimos answered.
Bad memories from school suddenly fludded into my mind like rushing water.
Tears of sadness welled up in my eyes as I remembered those lonely and miserable days at school.
"Oh Akwimos, I'm so glad that you and I met. I knew what it felt like to not have any friends until I met Preyas," I said.
"Wo... wait a second Mis Sioku, are you for real? How could a sweet girl like you not have any friends? You are a kind person with a heart of gold," Akwimos replied in shock.
"Thank you Akwimos, Preyas said those exact same words to me when he and I talked for the first time. I will never forget that wondrous moment I had with him. Preyas helped me come out of my shell, and I felt less afraid at school with him by my side. I also met my friends Dan and Drago that same day," I explained.
"That's great news mis Sioku, I understand why you and Preyas have a special connection. You two are helping each other out," Akwimos said proudly.
"Preyas saved me from being friendless for the rest of my life," I replied with a smile.
"I don't want to bring up your past mis Sioku, but why didn't you have any friends before that day?" Akwimos continued.
I let out a heavy sigh and then explained. "This isn't easy to talk about, but I definitely trust you. I have a mental disability called autism which causes me to be obsessed over my special intrests and react quicker and more emotionally to situations. Ever since I started school back in kindergarten, I have always been shy and quiet. Other kids either avoided or bullied me because of my disability. To make matters worse, I had an academic assistant named Julie who absolutely hated my personality. Her spoiled daughter Mira started all of the bullying that I've endured at school so far. She gave me the nickname Sad Sioku because I get emotional very easily. Mira has also physically hurt me as well. Her best friend Kiera started getting in on the bullying not that long ago. That's enough about Mira, now I'll move on to Julie. Every time I make even the smallest mistake in class, Julie will yell at me and make rude comments about my hyper personality in front of everybody. I am not allowed to laugh or have any fun whenever Julie is with me. She has also physically asulted Dan and me. This woman always makes my social life miserable and mentally painful. I have gone six whole school years without any friends because of Julie and her daughter," I explained.
"Mis Sioku, I am so sorry to hear that you had been put through so much pain and suffering for all those years. A kind-hearted and selfless person like you never deserved to be ignored or treated with such disrespect and hatred. The people who did those terrible things to you have missed out on a beautiful friendship. I mean it," Akwimos said sympathetically.
"Thank you Akwimos, I really appreciate all of your kind words. You and Preyas are the best Bakugan friends a girl like me could ever ask for," I replied warmly.
Our conversation was soon interrupted when Pegasus began to bark at a person walking down the street.
I tugged on the leash firmly and scolded. "Pegasus, stop that right now. You're being a bad dog."
Pegasus whimpered in response.
Preyas and Akwimos giggled at the sound of Pegasus' high pitched bark.
"My dog always gets himself into trouble whenever he has the opportunity," I said before I laughed.
I quickly led Pegasus up the block and into the apartment building.
Once inside the apartment, I unclipped Pegasus' leash and then put it away.
Pegasus ran around the living room while panting heavily.
He then jumped on the couch next to Lynn.
"Settle down Pegasus," she said.
I couldn't help but giggle at that.
Pegasus climbed onto the back of the couch and laid down.
"My dog just had the zoomies," I thought.
"I could hear that," replied Akwimos.
"I love your dog so much," Preyas added.
I walked into the kitchen and prepared a glass of water.
"Hello Sioku, where have you been?" asked Kara.
"Pegasus and I were at a park across the street. That place is beautiful," I answered.
"I'm glad to know that you two got some fresh air," Kara added.
"Do you need any help with anything?" I asked.
"Not right now, but I will need your help in an hour. We will be making dinner then," Kara answered.
After emptying my cup, I carefully set it down in the sink.
"I'll be in my bedroom for a while," I said before I exited the kitchen.
I then made my way down the hallway and into my bedroom.
"Welcome to our room Akwimos," I said while closing the door behind me.
"Thank you mis Sioku, I'm glad to be here. I can't wait to explore this room," Akwimos replied as he lifted himself out of my pocket.
He floated around the room and looked at everything with curiosity.
I lifted Preyas out of my other pocket and said gently. "Hey Dearest, you're being quieter than usual. Are you okay?"
"I guess so," Preyas answered.
I held Preyas close to me as I sat down on my bed.
"Preyas Love, are you still nervous about the conversation that we had earlier?" I asked smoothly.
"Yes, I'm not ready to brawl yet..." Preyas answered with a sudden pause.
I gasped in surprise at my guardian Bakugan's immediate silence.
His expression went from timid to completely blank.
"Preyas? Preyas, what's the matter?" I asked with deep concern.
I was only met with more silence.
"Preyas, please speak to me. Tell me what's wrong," I said softly.
The Bakugan still didn't respond.
I stared down at Preyas and noticed that his eyes were shut tightly.
"What is happening to you Preyas?" I thought.
~Preyas' Flashback~
Kiera was sitting on a picnic bench at the park.
She watched as the other kids ran around and played on the jungle gym.
Aquos Preyas watched the scene as he hovered beside her.
Kiera glared down at Preyas and asked rudely. "What are you looking at?"
"Those kids look like they're having a lot of fun," Preyas answered cheerfully.
Kiera shook her head in disgust.
"I hate this pathetic Bakugan," she grumbled.
A little kid holding another Bakugan walked up to Kiera.
"Excuse me mis, may I brawl with you?" he asked with a smile.
"Sure," Kiera answered briefly.
Preyas tensed up and hollered. "Hold on Kiera, I don't want to brawl right now! I'm still recovering from our last battle!"
"Suck it up and deal with it," Kiera snapped back.
First, Kiera threw a gate card down and called out. "Gate card open!"
She then released her Bakugan and shouted. "Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand! Go Aquos Preyas!"
The younger boy released his Bakugan and called out. "Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand! Go Darkus Hydranoid!"
Both Bakugan grew to their full size.
Preyas stood on the arena looking terrified.
Hydranoid attacked Preyas directly as soon as the boy activated an ability card.
Preyas took the battle damage and instantly reverted back to his ball form.
"You really are useless Preyas," Kiera commented with a frown.
~End Flashback~
Without warning, Preyas began to tremble violently.
"Oh no... Preyas!" I called out.
The shaking in Preyas' body intensified as he heard the panic in my voice.
Akwimos heard the commotion and floated over to my side.
"What's going on mis Sioku? Is everything all right?" he asked.
"No Akwimos, Preyas doesn't look so good. He might be having a panic attack or paranoia," I answered sadly.
"Wo... mis Sioku, are you serious? How did that happen?" Akwimos continued.
"Preyas is still frightened by our conversation from earlier. He just started shaking out of nowhere," I answered fearfully.
Akwimos moved closer and looked at Preyas with full concentration.
"Preyas definitely looks like he is having paranoia," he said.
"What should I do Akwimos? How can I help him come out of it?" I replied desperately.
"You must calm down mis Sioku," he urged.
I took a deep breath and stared down at Akwimos.
"You're right Akwimos, Preyas and I have been in this situation before. I shouldn't have panicked like that," I said remorsefully.
Mis Sioku, what did you do for Preyas whenever he acted this way?" my new friend asked calmly.
"I usually walk around while holding him," I answered.
"That's a great idea mis Sioku," Akwimos whispered.
"You'll be okay Dearest," I assured telepathically.
Without further hesitation, I started pacing around my room while keeping a tight hold on Preyas.
Akwimos floated beside me and observed.
He seemed fascinated by my way of helping Preyas.
I telepathically sang one of my favorite songs to him.
The soothing melody helped him slowly wake up.
Akwimos heard my telepathic singing and grinned.
"Wow, mis Sioku's voice is gorgeous. I've never heard such beauty in my entire life," he said dreamily.
I heard Akwimos' complement and smiled back at him.
Preyas finally started to calm down after ten minutes had passed.
He opened his eyes and stared at me.
"Hi Preyas," I greeted while rubbing him softly.
Preyas remained silent and looked at Akwimos.
"What's up little dude?" Akwimos responded in a cheerful tone of voice.
"You're so cute Akwimos," I said before I giggled.
Akwimos blushed in response.
I carefully sat down on the end of my bed.
Preyas closed his eyes again and fell asleep.
A long period of complete silence passed by.
Akwimos and I watched Preyas as he slept in my arms.
Mis "Sioku, I've never seen anybody care for a Bakugan the way you do. You and Preyas are already as close as you two can get," Akwimos said softly.
"My friend Dan said that to me as well after the previous incident," I whispered back.
"Your friend is right mis Sioku, Preyas belongs with you. You are the brawler who he has been searching for," Akwimos added.
Our conversation was interrupted when I heard whimpering and scratching noises at the door.
"That's Pegasus," I said as I stood up.
"He sounds really cute," replied Akwimos.
I hurried over to the door and let Pegasus in my room.
Pegasus immediately hopped onto my bed.
Akwimos watched with amusement as the dog rolled himself up in my blanket.
"Pegasus does that all the time," I pointed out.
"Your dog is unusual mis Sioku," Akwimos responded.
Pegasus closed his eyes and fell asleep.
"Hey Akwimos, is it possible for Bakugan to have seizures?" I asked with a worried expression.
"Yes mis Sioku, Bakugan can have seizures although they are very rare. Also, a Bakugan seizure can be dangerous if the brawler doesn't treat it right away. The seizure could lead to severe brain damage," Akwimos answered with a serious expression.
"If Preyas ever had a seizure one day, how can I treat it?" I asked.
"Don't worry mis Sioku, treating a Bakugan's seizure is easy. You just need to be there for your Preyas and constantly reassure him. Preyas should relax after he comes out of it," Akwimos explained.
"Thanks Akwimos, but what would cause a Bakugan to have a seizure?" I continued.
"Any kind of trauma is usually the main cause," Akwimos answered.
"That makes sense," I said calmly.
"You have to keep an extra close eye on your Preyas," Akwimos replied smoothly.
I heard my mom calling for me and turned toward the door.
"I'm coming Mother," I called back.
"What's going on mis Sioku?" asked Akwimos.
"Mom needs my help in the kitchen. I need to leave right away," I answered urgently.
I then set Preyas down on my bed and asked. "Akwimos, will you please watch him until I come back?"
"Cool is the rule mis Sioku, of course I will. You can count on me," Akwimos answered with a smile.
"Thank you so much Akwimos," I said as I hugged him.
"No problem mis Sioku," Akwimos replied as he snuggled next to Preyas.
I took a few pictures of them on my phone and added. "You two look so cute together."
"This little dude will be in good hands," Akwimos reassured.
I hurried over to the door and commanded. "Let's go Pegasus."
Pegasus woke up and immediately hopped off of my bed.
Akwimos laughed at the jingling sound of Pegasus' collar.
He zoomed out the door as soon as I opened it.
I looked at the two Bakugan one last time before I exited my bedroom.
