The battle has been won. And like every other time so far, she had come out on top. There were many inheritors of the founding titan before Frieda, but the female deeply believed that hers, was probably second only to the one possessed by Ymir Fritz, herself.

Too bad the Marleyans weren't exactly chatty at the time. It still baffled her how in the world she managed to get so close to them. It probably had to do with her coming unarmed, though she was sure that some of the soldiers were chuckling up at the sight of her.

Slowly, Frieda looked towards the spot they were supposed to be laying in.

Yet, aside from some crates full of supplies, which were previously carried by the cart titan, nothing was there.

'Pieck Finger' Frieda thought, trying to look out for the enemy.

The sly woman must've taken the unconscious soldiers and escaped. Since none of them, aside from those who were caught in the explosions, seemed to be around, the cart titan shifter had to make her way out of this tough situation.

'Next time' the queen said to herself, seemingly relaxed.

The sleeping gas had already dissipated within the nearby area, so this was the moment she could exit the titanic body.

As her human form emerged from the steaming neck, she could hear the shouts of the MPs.

"Your majesty!" One of the officers yelled at her, once they were close enough.

"I got the beast" she responded, looking at the lifeless, slowly disappearing body of said titan "the cart managed to get away…"

"Should we go after her?"

At that, the queen swiftly severed the last cords tying her to the giant body, before jumping down to the ground with grace.

"Dispatch a search party" Frieda ordered "and take one of the airships to look from the sky. I doubt she's willing to stay here after what happened, but one can never be too cautious…"

"Yes, your majesty!"

As the MPs were running around, asserting their positions and relaying orders, Frieda thought about the implications of what she had just done.

A lot has changed when she had taken over Grisha's attack titan. It provided her with the power to break the will of the first king, and even though she couldn't see the future, it was a major change. Now, that she had taken over the beast titan, the queen figured that maybe, she could possibly gain a new ability.

The beast was one of the most mysterious among the nine. No one truly knew the extent of its abilities. Zeke Yeager's looked a lot like a giant ape, though this look wasn't exactly common.

Maybe she would get some animalistic abilities? Frieda looked at the sky. Above the hovering airship, a bird was flying.

'I wonder what it's like' the queen thought, mesmerized.

Indeed, the ability to fly was quite godlike. It was truly fitting, considering her status.

Then, all of a sudden, she felt weak. Just as the MPs closest to her managed to see her falling over, her vision closed off.

She overdid it. Frieda didn't really consider that due to all the exertion that has been building up within her ever since yesterday, she would need to have some rest after transforming.

Her abilities were unparalleled, but she still had some limitations.

Actually, this time, it really felt different for the young queen. In the past, she would feel fatigue and sometimes she would even pass out from all the strain, yet now, it almost felt like she was awake…

Frieda slowly opened her eyes.

Around her, stretched a huge, white desert. Above her, stars were lining up in the sky, all coming into a single point. The silence of this place was well known to her already.

"What a pity" she suddenly heard a voice, from somewhere around her "I was hoping to get here, but not like this…"

The queen sat up in her place. Just in front of her, a small blonde boy was sitting and playing in the sand.

"Now, everything left for me to do is to make sandcastles for the remainder of my time" he continued, not bothering to look up.

"You're Zeke Yeager?" She asked in surprise.

"When I was alive" he responded, still concentrated on the small pile of sand, which didn't really have any shape or form.

"You are pathetic" Frieda spoke, standing up "I've seen your father's memories… You betrayed your family… I've never seen someone so weak…"

The young boy just looked up at her with an indifferent expression. It almost felt as if he was looking right into her soul.

"…and this isn't even a proper castle."

"My parents never bothered to tell me how to play in the sand" he simply responded.

Just why in the world did he end up here? Was this some kind of a trick that some previous founder was playing on her?

"If you want comfort, you came to the wrong person" the queen said angrily.

Silence filled the air, as two distant relatives were looking at each other

"It seems to me, that you are the one in a dire need of comfort" the boy exclaimed, looking back down, towards the pile of sand.

"What…?"

"You told me that I betrayed my family" he continued "but I'm not the only one here who did that…"

"I would never…" Frieda protested.

"You hurt Eren" Zeke elaborated "and by doing that, you also hurt your sister…"

"Just shut up!" The queen yelled, kicking up the pile of sand that the boy was working on "you have no idea what you're talking about! And you have no right to judge me! You're not even real!"

The blonde boy once again looked up, deep in thought.

"I don't have to care what you think" he explained, before looking down, and piling the sand up, to build another castle "I am beyond your control."

The queen fumed in anger, as she was watching the insolent boy oppose her.

"You hate that, don't you?" Zeke suddenly asked, surprising her "not being in control… You hate it, right?"

Right now, she didn't really know what to think. The events of the past few hours were overly intense to her, and things were changing rapidly.

"I think that I know exactly what you're feeling" the boy explained, concentrating on the small pile of sand "come again, when you feel like talking…"

"What…?"

"Your majesty! Are you okay?"

Upon closer inspection, she noticed that she was lying on a bed, in some unknown building.

Whatever that vision was, it held no meaning to Frieda. She was perfectly fine with dealing with her problems, all by herself.

"How long was I out?" She asked groggily, "and where am I?"

"Several hours, your majesty" the MP watching over her explained "we are in one of the houses in the Ragako village."

So, this vision took away several hours of her precious time. Frieda needed to catch up with everything, quickly.

"Did the search party find anyone?" She asked.

"No, your majesty" the man spoke "one of our air scouts noticed an enemy airship departing, but they were unable to follow."

Suddenly, the doors to the room burst wide open.

'People really need to learn to knock…'

"Your majesty!" The messenger exclaimed "the rebels have taken the capital!"

At that, a smile appeared on the queen's face. She actually predicted that Erwin would try something like this, and this was the perfect opportunity for her to get rid of the pesky opposition in the form of the former survey corps' soldiers.

"That's great" Frieda responded "we were expecting this to happen. Did all the MPs surrender, as they were instructed?"

The messenger looked quite flabbergasted right now. His seemingly shocking news turned out to be not so shocking, after all, and so he averted the queen's gaze, shamefully.

"It appears so" the man elaborated.

"Alright" Frieda spoke with newfound conviction "when I'm well rested, we'll depart to take back the capital."

It seemed that nothing could stand in her way to the top, now. With Marleyan invasion dealt with and opposition brought down, she would become the true god, ruling not only over this island, but possibly the whole continent.

Nothing could possibly go wrong…
